As she drove home with the window down and the car radio playing softly. Brooke realized as nice as the dinner was. And despite how much her and Lucas enjoyed each other's company and catching up on their lives.
Maybe spending time together and being in communication often
Was too much to handle so soon after moving back to town.
As the night came to a close. Brooke and Lucas couldn't help but replay the dinner and the fun they had just being together.

Brooke made her way over to The Baker's home.
She found Peyton in the living room.
"Tell me all about the dinner." Peyton insisted.
Julian and Peyton were a few months into their marriage at this point.

Lucas was well aware that his return back to his home town was about alot more then wanting to be back surrounded with what was familiar.
Tree Hill was home. And more then that. He came back to get another chance with Brooke.
