Prompt: "I love you from the bottom of my heart, but I don't trust your cooking. Stay out of my kitchen."

"Remind me again, Alec. Why are you here?"
Alec Hardison just sighed from where he was standing in Pru's apartment's kitchen, having been searching for some ingredients to make something. Turning towards the door, he saw Pru herself leaning against the door frame, one eyebrow raised as she waited for his answer. Smirking, he leaned back against the counter. "Is it so hard to believe that I just wanted to come spend some time with you?"

Pru frowned and squinted at the hacker. "Yes, yes, it is. In fact, I think that you just don't want to be at the office when the team returns. Isn't that right?"
"Pfft, no, why would you say that? Why…?"

"Alec, you can stop now."

"Appreciate it."

Pru snorted and shook her head before pushing off the door frame and walking over to the hacker. Once she got there, she placed her hands on his shoulders and looked into his eyes. "Alec, I may not fully understand why you feel as though hiding from the rest of your team is you best option right now, but I do know that the worst place for you to be right now is my kitchen. Get out."

Alec furrowed his brow. "What are you talking about? Why would this be the worst place for me to be right now?"
Pru gave the hacker a droll look. "Alec, I love you from the bottom of my heart, but I absolutely do not trust your cooking. Please stay out of my kitchen."

"Aww, but Pru…"

"No, Alec, you are not allowed in my kitchen. And I'm sure that Eliot would agree with me. Now, please tell me what you were searching for, and I will find it for you."

Alec pouted slightly before sighing. "I just wanted some grilled cheese and orange soda."

Pru sighed as she walked around the hacker and began to pull out the ingredients she would need. "You're lucky that I actually have all the ingredients for that, you idiot. Grab one of your sodas from the fridge and take a seat at the island. This shouldn't take long."

"Thanks, Pru."

"No problem. You're still an idiot, though."

"Yeah, yeah."
