Prompt: "I'm not a thief. I'm just really good at acquiring things that aren't mine."
This had definitely been one of Pru's least favorite jobs with the team so far. Between Nate attempting to break out of rehab twice (and actually succeeding once, with the mark, but that was besides the point) and almost getting blown up (twice), she felt as though she had aged ten years, yet it had only been a few days. Truthfully, she was just ready to go back to her apartment and sleep for a week. But there was one last thing that they needed to do first.
That was why she found herself standing with the rest of the team outside Second Act Rehab, waiting for Parker to finish being discharged. Sophie had joined them a few minutes before, having just finished arranging for the thief's release. They were standing a little ways apart from each other, staggered as it were, in a mostly comfortable silence.
Pru had to stifled a laugh as Parker caught sight of them all and began to run at them, yelling. "Hey! I missed you guys!"
They could all definitely tell that the happy pills were still working as the thief threw her bag at Nate and proceeded to jump on Eliot, who wasn't expecting it (for once). "Uff. Sophie, when do the happy pills wear orr?"
Pru answered as Parker hopped off of Eliot and immediately jumped on Alec. "It usually wears off after about twenty-four hours."
Alec smiled a little. "That's too bad. I kind of like this Parker."
Pru rolled her eyes as Parker rand over to her, hopping up on her next. "Pru!"
"Yes, Parker?"
"Did you know that I'm not actually a thief? I'm just really god at acquiring things that aren't actually mine."
Pru scoffed and rolled her eyes again as Parker hopped down and grabbed both Eliot and Alec by their shoulders and began to guide them towards the car. Shaking her head as she walked over and took the bag from Nate, Pru turned to follow the others. "Parker, you know that you are making zero sense right now, correct?"
"So?"
Pru sighed. "Never change, Parker. Never change."
