Having rescued Meta Knight who was now back in his original appearance, night fell as the group made their way to Rhythm Route where the Access Ark's last leg was. It was a sprawling purple metropolis created by the Haltmann Works Company. Its architecture is inspired by music, though the area itself borrows some concepts from Patched Plains and Resolution Road. Waddle Dee Drivers drive down the city streets, only stopping for traffic signals. A casino, research facility, and trolley are also established here.

"Wow…it's just as advanced as that other place…maybe more." Ochako said.

"Though this one seems to be all music and rhythm." Klonoa said as the windows on the buildings rose up and down in a rhythm like a synth wave to the music that was heard playing across the city.

"Hey, that's pretty good." ZS snapped his fingers.

"Well…let's kick some butt all the way to the leg…to the beat." Jiro said.

"Music to all our ears." Sunset said as they started moving towards the leg while fighting it out with incoming enemies.

The group had soon reached the last leg and went inside as they stood on a large platform before the small hole in the center opened as music began playing, and rising up from it was Susie.

"~We implore you, dear Haltmann! We implore you, dear Haltmann! Bless our work and be at ease~!" Susie sang before noticing the group. "Oh, well hello there! We meet again. I'm sure you all remember me. Susie? The charming secretary? Yes? Anyhow, I was quite surprised. When you all reduced my Mecha Knight to scrap. Hmph. I guess the Mother Computer isn't perfect after all…" she whispered at the end.

"Give it up now. If you take us to your boss, we'll spare you a humiliating defeat." Hope said.

"Oh, but this is far from over, though! This next one should quash your rebellion." Susie said as she pulled out a capsule that had a small drop of a purple liquid inside. "He was created from the latest in nanogenentic technology. He's ruthless. He's driven. He's…a clone of royal proportions! Heehee! And it seems he has a long-standing grudge against little Pinky!" she said as the capsule shook violently before rising up into a purple lookalike of a certain king. "Presenting…Dedede Clone!"

"Reallly? You cloned King Dedede?" Akane asked in disbelief.

"Here, see that little pink nuisance and his friends? Destroy them!" Susie said as she was carried away by her drone as she laughed and the platform the group was on began to slowly ascend as Dedede Clone roared at the group.

Model #D-DD30 - Dedede Clone

"Oh, I'm gonna enjoy this." Koneko said.

"Who wants to pound some penguin?!" DW said as they faced off against the clone.

The Dedede clone attacked in the same way the real one did, though much more ferociously.

"What gave Haltmann Corp the bright idea to make a clone out of Dedede? We can take the real fat penguin on any day of the week." RD-2 said.

"I think they might've concluded that Dedede was Dreamland's greatest threat next to Kirby. It's true he's strong, but when it comes to actually being a challenge…." Sakura said.

"Yeah, we've all pretty much fought him at one point or another. We know what to expect from him by now." Mayumi said.

The group fought back against the Dedede clone, doing it damage. Eventually, upon being dealt a certain amount of damage, it scattered into three puddles before reforming as slightly smaller clones.

"Segmenting into other clones, that all you got?!" Akane asked, kicking one aside.

"Don't let your guard down! We don't know if Kyubot's here or not to back this faker up!" Hope said.

"Oh…he's here all right." Kazuichi said with a malicious smirk as he shoved Hope in the way of the clone's attack.

"Soda, what did you do that for?!"

They soon heard a shaking as they saw the real Kazuichi tied up inside of an oil drum.

"That's not Soda!" Klonoa pointed at the Soda smiling maliciously.

The fake smiled before they revealed their true selves as a large robotic fox with nine glowing tails.

"And the bot of the hour arrives." Scarlet remarked.

"Well…makes sense he blends with his environment." Sunset said.

"At least he saved us the trouble of looking for him." Lei said.

Kyubot bounced over to the Dedede clones as the four grouped up. They started attacking together, making it hard to focus on a single target at once.

"I've got this!" Lei assured as she humped into the fray and used her kung fu skills to keep all four of them at bay. Once they were in good position, that's when she struck. "The Dragon comes for you!" she called, as she used Sacred Dragon's Temper to damage all four of them at once.

The Dedede clones deformed before reforming into a smaller size.

"Aw, look at the widdle guys!" Eddy laughed. "What're you tykes gonna do now, huh?"

The small clones went and pounced on him and started attacking with their mini hammers.

"You had to ask, didn't you?" Sectonia asked.

"Just get 'em off me!" Eddy said.

"I'm on it, I'm on it." Sectonia said as she shot rings of light at the Dedede clones., reducing them to puddles on the ground. "Finally, those rings worked when I wanted them to."

(Cue- Dedede's Tridimensional Cannon- Kirby: Planet Robobot)

The platform had soon reached the top as the center of it opened, and rising out of it was a large mobile triple mounted cannon of some sort in Dedede's colors as the clones reformed before hopping onto it.

"What the?!" they all said.

"It seems we finally reached the end of this sad little play." a voice called out as a large robotic being descended downward, red and yellow hair on full display as he posed.

Kabuking

"This show is in its finally…and now…" Kabuking said, stomping the ground. "You all…mush…perish!" he said dramatically.

"Okay, what's this dude's deal?" ZS asked Sunset.

"He's a robot like Yo-kai that's into kabuki plays." Sunset said.

"Yes…and now…you face all five of us!" Kabuking said as Kyubot joined along with the three clones of Dedede.

"Then let's get started." Bardock said as the fight resumed, the Dedede clones moved about the platform on D3, firing upon the group from all angles.

"Yayoi! Bloom Barrage!" Kabuking said as he twirled his parasol and hair as a storm of cherry blossoms bombarded the group.

"Cut of Nine Tails!" Kyubot said as it fired off all nine of its tail lasers at them.

A few members were hit by the incoming attacks as the rest went and avoided them.

"These five are really out for us, aren't they?" Pinkie said.

"Hazards of the job. Any ideas?" Shirou asked.

"Well, Kyubot may be immune to electricity, but I bet the rest of them aren't!" Mark said, turning to Akeno. "Akeno, punishment time!"

"Ufufu, how bold of you to ask for that. If you insist~" Akeno giggled, summoning a magic circle above the five foes, holy lightning raining down on them. While Kyubot was unaffected, the other four opponents were heavily damaged.

"My…show." Kabuking said as he collapsed.

Kirby then headed in to handle the Dedede Clones and D3, leaving Kyubot as the only opponent left.

"Just you and us, Fox-bot!" Zephyr said as he fired his SMGs at Kyubot, who bounded away to dodge and fired more of its lasers before it stopped as its eyes looked with Sunset's.

"Uh.. why'd it stop?" Scorpia asked.

"I think we know why." Kurochi said. "It has some message…like Venoctobot did."

"Uh…can I help?" Sunset asked.

"...Kyubi…captured." Kyubot said.

"What? What do…"

"But…resisting mental control." Kyubot said.

"Resisting? Is it this Kelly person? Are they trying to brainwash Yo-kai for something?" Jesse asked.

"Incorrect info. Resisting actually…its feral instincts while others…are slowly losing themselves to…" Kyubot said.

"Okay, that kind of sounds even worse than brainwashing." David said.

"Arachnus….captured….Toadal Dude….capturled…Whirlweasel…captured…" Kyubot said.

"It's listing off a number of major Yo-kai allies. So…it's looking like he's gotten most of the major players." Sunset said as she looked ready to cry.

"Thurston…captured…Tenguriginal…captured. Silver Lining and Little Charrmer…not captured." Kyubot said.

Sunset soon stopped upon hearing that. "What?" she said in surprise.

"So…the Merican Yo-kai heroes…he hasn't gotten any of them yet." Hope said.

"We'd better make sure we get to them after this is done."

"Instructions for…Sunset. Continue gathering allies. Hit the big spots. But…need to see someone first. Find…Squigly." Kyubot said before it suddenly shut down.

"Wait, did that tin can just mention Squigs?" Peacock asked. "Why would she be important?"

"Given how close she was with Venoct, I wouldn't be surprised if the Yo-kai Alliance wanted to go after her too." Hope said. "That said, she could be in danger."

"Before…you go. We must…go somewhere." Kabuking groaned as he regained consciousness.

"Right, we gotta finish this speedrun and go up to see the boss." Emo nodded.

"No…not there. Well, we will go there but…" Kabuking said.

The kabuki robot lead them to a building as he opened it up as three figures were seen captured and generating power. Two of them were an orange and blue creature with pylon like horns as they were forced to generate electricity.

"Signiton and Statiking… Haltmann Corp mustve been using them to power their machines." Hope said.

"Yes…it is quite a predicament. I mean, being used to make power for some heartless corporation. Not really different from how the common man lives his life." spoke a third voice as inside an orb was a being with a lightbulb head with his lower body being a phonograph.

"Mr. Edison!" Sunset said.

"It's nice to see you too, Sunset." Energison said.

"Let's get you three outta there." Entrapta said as she found the switch which powers the machines holding Signinton and Statiking and used her hair to grab the switch from its high place and pull it, shutting the machines down. RD-2 then flew up to T. Energisons containment orb and gave it a good hard buck, smashing it and setting the Legendary Yo-kai free.

"So why did you call him Edison?" Miu asked.

"Oh…uh…this guy is T. Energison…though while he was alive, he was known as someone else…Thomas Edison." Sunset said.

"As in, the legendary inventor? The guy who literally made electricity?" Miu asked.

"The very same. T. Energison is classified as a Legendary Pioneer. They're Yo-kai who used to be great men in history." Hope said.

"Oh stop. I only made a few inventions here or there and yes they're used everywhere but it's nothing to fanboy over." Energison said.

"Huh, smart and humble. Two for one, eh Sockhead?" Eddy nudged Double D, only to realize that his friend seemed to be hyperventilating. "Uh…Double D?"

"Thomas Edison. The Thomas Edison. Eddy…that is the Thomas Edison!" Double D shook his friend.

"Whoa, whoa! Keep your sock on!" Eddy pushed Double D off.

"Ah, my apologies Eddy." Double D composed himself. "It's just…he's one of my personal heroes."

"Don't worry. We get it. Meeting your idol leaves you starstruck, does it? Some of us can understand that feeling." David said.

"Now then…Robonyan, shall we get started?" Energison asked.

"Of course." Robonyan said.

"Started on what?" Jexi asked.

"His re-upgrading of course." Energison said.

"Wait…you were looking for this guy?" Spade asked.

"Yes. He is the only one who can perform this upgrade in this day and age." Robonyan said. "While I am being worked back to my old self, you all must reach Haltmann's HQ. I will join you ASAP."

"Got it. You two have fun." Mark said as the group exited the building, looking up at the massive sphere above them. "So, ready to bring this company down a second time?"

"Oh yeah. It was fun the first time, gonna be the second time too." Sonic said.
