Chp 12 Soldier Chaos (Revised)
"LUCY."
Sure enough they were staring at their resident zodiac wielder who had a more punkish attitude to her face and personality. Pretty soon she was joined by the other members of fairy tail, Lucy rose to her feet and walked straight towards Natsu. The fire dragon felt sweat running down his head. "Natsu!" Lucy spoke.
"U…um y…yeah." Suddenly she threw her arms around him in a big hug. "Why the hell didn't you say it was you dummy. Right before he could reply she then put him in an arm bar. "That'll cost ya, arm bar crab clutch!"
The rest of the group was shocked this was certainly not like Lucy at all. "Well this is a pickle of a different color." Said Zodie.
"Oh I see Natsu you brought some new members to the guild well come on in." Said Jet who along with Droy looked alot more rough and tough looking. Inside the group sat at the table enjoying a drink, they saw that almost everyone was there. Yet something was different and yet weird and Zodie was able to see it; though he had;'nt been in fairy tail a long time he could read his guildmates pretty well based on their behavior.
Carla noticed it in his eye. "You see it don't you?"
Zodie nodded. "Yeah this is crazy. I mean Gray's all gaga over Juvia now, Cana's sober and proper and Lucy's the one beating Natsu's ass, but then again I've seen her do that before but this seems different."
"Hey new kid." Zodie looked to see Levy coming up to him, she was wearing a dark red dress that leaves her abdomen exposed and is linked by dark blue straps and yellow bands on the sleeves. She placed her hand on his shoulder. "Saw you handed Lucy her ass back there nice." She complimented.
This of course got Lucy's attention as she went over and started to bicker with the bluenette. "Screw you ya scrawny little grease monkey nobody asked you!"
"Scrawny, you're just jealous because you wish you were my weight." The two began to go back and forth calling eachother names.
And those two are going at it like Natsu and Gray."
"Hey Natsu, what's with the cats?" Wakaba asked. But then everyone had mixed reactions of terror and surprise because of Wendy and Carla. "Those ar'nt cats they're exceeds!" Said Macao.
Lucy, who was atop of Natsu's head, was giving him a double noogie. "You dumbass, what're you thinking of bringing in here?!"
"Exceed what is that?" Asked Zodie.
"Carla, do you know anything about that?" Wendy asked. The feline merely looked away in silence.
Mira walked and crouched in front of Happy after he removed his helmet. "Oh no, they just look like exceeds no need to panic." This seemed to calm everyone down and the situation became for mellow, Natsu sat at a table as he was being interrogated by Lucy along with Happy. The cait shelter trio continued to observe the odd behavior of their guildmates.
Suddenly the door opened up. "Oh hey sis welcome back." Greeted Elfman. "Welcome back Lisanna." Mira also greeted. This got the attention of Natsu Happy and Zodie, all three boys whipped their heads up to see a girl with short white hair and blue eyes. She wore a lavender skirt with straps her leg exposed revealing her guild mark.
Zodie looked over at Natsu who couldn't take his eyes off her, he literally knew what he was thinking since he saw all the memories after hitting him with a weird spell. "L…lisana?" He then raced over to her with tears in his eyes but was then side kicked by Natsu. "Whayad think you're doing?" She grabbed him by the collar and began shaking him. "Li…sanna she's here she's alive."
"Of course she's alive dumbass, why wouldn't she?"
"Lucy quit picking on Natsu already and don't call him a dumbass, it's mean." Lisana defended.
"Lisana I've heard of her but isn't she dead?" Asked Wendy.
Carla finally spoke up. "I thought as much these people aren't fairy tail." This got looks from Happy and Wendy. "Or rather I should say they are not our fairy tail, when we left earthlands fairy tail we came to edolas and met this fairy tail."
"Like a parallel world, I've read a theory about this in a book about the same people but different histories and experiences." Said Zodie.
"Are you sure about that?" Wendy asked.
"If you don't believe me, child look at that." Carla pointed towards a young woman who looked like a grown up version of Wendy who was more well endowed and wore a cropped top with white capri shorts. Zodie with his hormones couldn't help but ogle at this Wendy. "Hey Wendy you didn't tell us you had a little sister, that girl kind of looks like you." Said Wakaba. Levy then joined in. "Yeah and it looks like the new kid can't take his eye's of her." She snickers. Wendy slapped her hands over Zodie's eyes in embarrassment.
"We need to get out of here now." Carla grabbed Happies paw and she dashed for the door. 'Holy crap Carla's holding my paw.' He blushed. Before she reached the door Nab busted in. "Bad news everyone, she's here the fairy hunter!"
Edolas fairy tail all froze in fear, Edolas Levy raced over to a machine with a chair and began to do some tinkering. "Preparing for teleportation." Before Happy and Carla could reach the door they were grabbed by Edolas Lucy. "Hold it, you cats got a death wish, don't you dare go out there."
The building started to shake and began to vibrate at an intense rate as all residents began to panic. Natsu's motion sickness of course began to act up as he slumped over clutching his stomach. "Crap. I thought not having magic meant no motion sickness."
Wendy was on the ground just as scared. "Zodie…. I don't like this." Zodie took her hand and reassured her. "Just hang close, we'll be okay." Not too far Edolas heard the name said from her earthland counterparts. "Z…zodie."
"Oh god their here." The door swung open to reveal a dark winged beast with a silhouetted figure at the reins. "Commence teleportation now." Edo Levy announced as she activated the machine, everyone soon began to float. The building was then engulfed in a bright light and soon disappeared by sinking underground leaving behind a smoking crater.
Now in a new area all seemed calm. Natsu and co were a tad groggy unlike the Edolas residents who were completely used to the guild moving like this. "Wendy you ok?" Zodie asked.
"Yeah I'm fine thanks."
"You can let go of her hand now you know." Zodie looked down and saw that it was true they both separated their hands and stepped away from one another awkwardly.
"Oh man, I need a new stomach." Whined Happy.
"No kidding, though I gotta ask who was at the reins of that monster?"
"That was the fairy slayer." Explained Mira. "Nobody has ever seen their face because those who do end up being killed."
"Wow, that's scary." Wendy cried.
Then from a separate room stepped out a young girl around twelve. "H…hey guys what'd I miss?" The girl wore a long sleeved yellow shirt with a blue skirt and black leggins along with red boots. The guild members turned to look at the girl.
"Holy smokes kid, did you sleep through all that again?" Jet asked.
"Geez Erza you can sleep through anything." Said Wakaba.
The earthland gang's eyes bulged with shock. This was Edolas Erza and she was a child. "Big sis Wendy." The little red head ran over to the tall blue head and hugged her, she then noticed the earthland group specifically Wendy. "Hey big sis she looks just like you, why's that?"
Edolas Wendy then walked over towards Zodie and looked him in the eye's. "Your name is Zodie right!?"
"Uh yeah that's me from earthland, how about we go back to the beginning." For about a few minutes the group explained how they got here and that they're not of this world, and that they came here to rescue their earthland fairy tail.
"Huh we actually believe that with you being named Wendy in all." Said Droy.
"How is it that you know me, is it because of my Edolas counterpart, where is he?" Zodie asked Edolas Wendy. She bore a sad look on her face.
"To answer that let me explain our guild's predicament, see after the king had ordered all guilds to disband we became the last known guild standing." Edolas Wendy explained. "We ultimately became a dark guild, other guilds tried to resist but they were all whipped out by the king's enforcers like the fairy hunter you just saw. Among these enforcers was a knight and his name was Zodie too." Earthland Zodie was shocked at this, a version of him that was evil. "They called him Black Avian, one day he couldn't stomach what they were doing any longer so he betrayed them and was left for dead as punishment. "Or that would've been the case if I hadn't discovered him and nursed him back to health, everyone at first was skeptical and not open to trust him but over time they all accepted him."
"So what happened to him?" Zodie asked.
Edolas Wendy grew tears in her eyes. "He was captured and he fended off the enemy so we could escape and I… I haven't seen him since." She fell to the ground with her hand over her eye's crying. Edolas Erza began to comfort her.
"He and big sis Wendy were boyfriend and girlfriend."
Earthland Zodie and Wendy both smoked up with red.
"It was over half a year ago. I don't even wanna imagine what he's going through." Said Edolas Wendy. "Me neither he used to take me flying with his wings all the time." Edolas Erza spoke in a sad tone with the other guild mates sharing her demeanor.
In the royal city inside the castle dungeon laid a man in a cell wearing tattered gray clothes. He wore a metal helmet over his face covering his features. Then one of the guards walked in, it was the same bronze night from earlier. "Hey traitor, I just thought I'd be happy to tell you that your new guild buddies escaped us again, but they won't be so lucky next time. When we find them again I think I'm gonna go after your blue haired sweetheart. This angered the man as he dashed from the wall to try to grab at the bronze knight. "Oh, I struck a nerve?"
"You stay the hell away from my family, you stay away from my WENDY YOU HEAR ME. BASTARD!"
Later on the earthland group began trekking through the desert, they had just left the guild and were making their way towards the kingdom. Both Wendy and Zodie shared a look of determination especially after the promise they had made to Edolas Wendy.
"Oh man, how isn't there a faster way to get to the city, Z can't you just fly us there."
"Natsu I can't carry five people at a time and besides I'm reserving my magic for an emergency."
"Whadda think this is man."
"Natsu pipe down Zodie's right, we'll have to grin and bear this walk for five days. I'm not sure if we'll make it in time but we can't afford any mishaps along the w/ay." Carla said
"Hey guys, to change the subject I still can't believe that in this world Erza's just a cute little girl." Said Happy.
"Yeah Erza, cute, little, those are words that should never go together." Natsu jokes.
"Better not ever let her hear you say that man or your ass is grass." Said Zodie.
As they walked a bunch of ruble shot up as a giant pink lizard creature shot up from the ground looming over them. "Finally something for me to punch, fire dragon iron-." HE stopped after realizing his fist wouldn't ignite. "Shi-." The monster flicked him high up in the air allowing for Zodie to catch him mid air. "Thanks bro."
"I got this, sky dragon rooooar." Wendy's attack was enough to push the creature back leaving Zodie to deal the final blow. "Dark phoenix knuckle." The phoenix child gave the beast a huge head lump forcing it to run away.
"Looks like I missed out on all the fun." The group turned to see it was Edolas Wendy now wearing a short sleeved skin tight waist trimmed green top along with knee high black shorts, she also had two tonfas in a holster behind her. "Looks like you guys can handle yourself well."
"What brings you here?" Asked Carla. "Because I miss my Zodie, and this is the only way to get him back." She then turned her back. "Lisanna come on."
"Stop being so pushy!" The said mage stopped resting her hands on her knees. "Hey guys, I'm here because I wanna help. I'm tired of running and hiding!" Natsu glanced at her a bit which she noticed then they both looked away.
"Well in any case come one follow us I know a spot where you can get a weapon for yourself Natsu." Wendy said. After minutes of walking the group arrived in the town of Louen which was now a scarce place due to the monopilization from the magic, one could say it was the official black market. "Lucy told me about this place she knows a guy who'll hook you up with a magic weapon Natsu." Said Edolas Wendy.
But as they arrived at their destination they could see the owner's shop was being ransacked by looters. "Oh no." Said Happy. "Those jerks are taking all the good stuff." Bellowed Natsu. Edolas Wendy drew her tonfas and began to walk towards them. "Wait what're you doing?" Wendy asked her tall counter part. Edolas Wendy turned to look back at her smirking. "Don't worry mini me I got this." She pressed a tiny button on her tonfas and two barrels came out, she took aim and fired mini bolts of electricity hitting the looters shocking them and forcing them to pass out. "Hey you looking for fight broad."
Edolas Wendy did some twirls and tricks with her tonfas. "Come and get some. One of them charged at her with a punch which she blocked with her tonfa then used her free hand held the tonfa by the tip and whacking him on the side of his knee before delivering a kick to his chest. Another thug came from behind but she was able to duck before firing another stun bolt into his stomach and striking him in the face with her knee. To say the group was impressed was in understatement especially Wendy and Zodie. Wendy was dazzled seeing someone who's in a way her kicking ass was inspiring, as for Zodie he was captured in a hypnotic trance by the counter part of his best friend. Finally a third thug came at Wendy with a metal stick which she used her tonfas to block before sending a jolt of electricity to him forcing him to drop the staff. She finished him off with jumping scissors kick before he fell to the ground.
The rest of the group came over to her and praised her. "Awsome." Said Both Zodie and Natsu. "You'r so cool." Cried Wendy with stars in her eyes. "Your way more kick ass then our Wendy." Happy said earnign him a light smcak to the head by Natsu.
"Thanks you guy's, Zodie eh, I mean my Zodie showed me some techniques. She placed her tonfa's back in their holsters.
The owner came out looking grateful. "Oh miss Wendy thankyou so much just for that i'll knock down the price for whatever item you choose."
Natsu walked up. "Thanks ole timer got any fire magic by any chance?"
"Oh I have just the thing follow me." The group went inside and Natsu was shown an item which was called the sealed flame blade, it was powered by cartridges that were loaded into the bottom. Zodie decided too look around himself because he wa scurious about the type of weapons. He then noticed that Edolas Wendy was gazing at him before she looked away after she caught her gaze.
After they were done shopping the group left stopped at a nearby cafe everyone was quiet Zodie caught edolas Wendy staring at him while seeing Natsu eyeing Lissana until he decided to break the silence. "Ok I gotta ask Wendy."
Both blue heads looked. "Yes."
"N…no I mean Edolas Wendy, I can't help but notice that you've been staring at me so I gotta ask what's your Zodie like." This even caught earthland Wendy's interest.
"He was very kind and brave and funny." Edolas Wendy started to smile a bit. "He was like our best fighter he did'nt just teach me some techniques he taught it to others like Jet Droy and even Lucy." Happy began to giggle. "Yeah that explains why she was kicking Natsu's butt."
"Shut up Happy." The salamander said with a scowl.
Lissana then chimed in. "She always challenged him to a fight which she always lost."
"Like Natsu and Gildarts." Happy said poking fun at his best friend.
Edolas Wendy's mood began to change the more she thought about her lover. "W…we have to find him, I need to know if he's okay!" Suddenly her short counterpart cupped her hands. "Don't worry well get him back I promise." She smiled.
"Hey now I gotta ask what's the relationship between you and your Zodie." Both preteens began to blush at this statement till Zodie spoke up. "We…well we grew up together aa…and we became best friends."
"Ooh the start to a romantic relationship." Lissana said.
Zodie pulled his hood over his face and put his head down Wendy hid under the table with her hands over her eyes. Earning laugh's from everyone except Carla. Lissana then looked at Natsu. "Hey Natsu since were all getting to know eachother what's your Lissana like."
"O…oh well sh-."
"They're they are dark mages." The group looked to see multiple edolas soldiers blocking off the exits. "Your fairy tail ar'nt yo, your all coming with us!"
"Ho…How'd they find us?" Asked Lissana.
"Somebody must've reported us after Wendy's little fight." Said Carla.
One of the guards lunged their spear at Lissana but Natsu quiklcy intervened by activating his flame blade cutting the spear and hitting him over the head with the hilt. "Oh hot damn I love this things." More soilders showed up before Zodie reached into his pocket and pulled a grenade like device; it contained boom dust which he had to buy, that stuff saved his bacon many times. "Guy's take cover." The phoenix child tossed the grenade blowing the soldiers back and creating a massive smoke screen allowing the group to escape. The group ducked and hid in a nearby building. "That was close." Said Happy.
"Hey what the hell man!" Said a familiar voice nearby. Some edolas soldiers had surrounded this person, Natsu looked thought the door to see that it was fairy tails resident drunk Cana Alberona holding an alcoholic drink.
"Cana no way, what's she doing here?" Natsu asked. "Questions for later she need's help." Zodie sprouted his wings and flew into help his guild mate. "Geez can't even enjoy a drink around here, prayers fountain." She tossed down a card then multiple streams of water shot out striking the guards making Zodie stop. "At least buy me a drink assholes." She continues to sip her drink.
"Yo Cana." The card wizard looks over to see familiar faces. "Hey kid everyone." But what really surprised her was the sight of a bigger Wendy and Lissana; she was so shocked she dropped her drink. "L…lissana."
"Be shocked later right now we need to haul ass and run!" Natsu said. "Wait why can't you do something flame brian?" "I can't use my magic so take these chumps out already!" Cana tossed down multiple cards which began to emit a green light wve from them forcing th guards to fall asleep creating an opportunity for them to escape.
"Ok can someone plase explain what the hell is happening, why can't Natsu over here use his magic, did you not take those red pills mystogan had, and why is there another Wendy, and is Lisana alive, did I have to much to drink?"
"We'll explain later but first we get out of here." Said Carla.
In the royal castle's dungeon Edolas Zodie sat in his cell passing the time doing some pushups when he was interrupted by the same bronze knight. "Well well have I got news for you, word on the streets is some wizards from earhtland are on they're way to rescue you, one of them is your earhtland counterpart." He smuggley said. "But that's not the best part that girlfriend of yours is coming you to."
Edolas Zodie stopped as he grew a look of fear on his face. "And we've got a surprise in store for them, but don't look so sad you'll get the opportunity to see her again before we're through with you." He then left leaving Edolas Zodie distraught. "Wendy please be careful."
I decided to make some adjustments in regards to the fairy hunter or rather slayer's identity
