Chapter Sixty-One: Healed
Kagome clenched her thighs together as she woke.
She was sore.
Everything from her back to her thighs and even parts of her body she didn't even know she had felt sore and stretched.
Touya stirred behind her. She felt his arms tighten around her waist as he pulled her back flush against his chest.
In the end, they never did wind up using any of the condoms they'd bought for their first night. She'd heard before that accidents were common in the early half of marriage but surely it wouldn't happen their first time together. People struggled to conceive for years. It'd be a shot in the dark to assume that a single night would be all it'd take for her to get pregnant instantly.
"Touya," Kagome leaned further back in his embrace. "We should say bye to your family before they leave."
Granted, she wasn't sure if she could even walk at this rate.
His arms tightened around her as he buried his face in the crook of her neck. He gave a noncommittal sound, one that told her more about his exhaustion than any words could ever describe.
They'd stayed awake until the early hours of dawn. They were given the brilliant show of a thunderstorm raging a distance from the house over the ocean waves. The rolling thunder had aided in their attempts at not rousing their family from their sleep. The light show from the lightning over the water had been romantic in its own right. Honestly she couldn't picture anything more perfect for their first night together.
Kagome gave a light squeal when she felt her husband pull her underneath him once more. She laughed heartily before she tipped her chin up to meet his gaze. When she did, her breath caught in her throat.
"What's wrong?" Touya lifted himself o to his forearms, concern writing itself across his features. "Are you in pain?"
Wordlessly, she took his hand and brushed the tips of his fingers against his cheek.
"They're gone." She managed after a short moment.
Staring down at her was the most handsome man she'd ever had the pleasure of laying her eyes on.
Touya had always been attractive. Even the burns that marred his face couldn't hide the masculine quality of his appearance. She knew that she would've loved him regardless of whether or not he remained burned. Yet staring up at his unmarred face made her stomach tie itself with a fluttering sense of nervousness—the likes of which she hadn't felt since the day she first ran into him.
"You are my husband, right? This isn't some sort of dream?" Kagome questioned, peering up at him. Truly, there was no way she could have married someone so handsome. If sexy could be defined in universal terms then she knew that Touya would be the poster child for that word.
His lips curled into a confident smirk, "I can show you, if you'd like."
She felt the familiar warmth of his body pressing against hers—an askance for permission.
Kagome hitched her leg over his hip as she curled her arms around his neck.
"You know, I finally figured out what to call your quirk." Touya smirked as she felt him push forward.
She groaned, lifting her hips to meet his pace.
The heat of his breath warmed her neck as he lowered his mouth to her shoulder
"Magic pussy." Her husband laughed, jarring his hips as she scowled at him.
Kagome secured her legs around him before she rolled their positions. She sank herself completely over him, resting her palms over the hardened tone of muscles that was his stomach. She straddled his waist, taking his wrists into her hands and pinning them over his head.
"Never say that phrase again." Kagome lowered herself slowly, taking pleasure in the way he moaned in response. She had half the mind to suffocate him with one of their pillows for the insult but she knew a better way to get at him.
Kagome lifted herself before starting an agonizingly slow pace. He moved against her, desperately trying to increase their speed. Kagome adjusted herself, preventing him from taking control of their sex.
"Promise me," Kagome shivered as she felt her stomach begin to coil with pleasure. She knew that she wouldn't last long like this. She lowered herself onto him fully once more. "Promise that you won't say that again."
Touya tried to wrangle his wrists free from her grasp but she held firm.
"Promise, otherwise I won't let you finish."
It was a threat she knew how to keep.
Her husband's eyes glinted with determination as she increased her speed, settling over him as her body grew taut once more.
Kagome cried out when she felt the familiar rush of pleasure wash over her. Touya moved beneath her as he struggled to reach his own end.
She flashed him a smirk before she clamored off of his lap.
"Hey!" Touya reached for her.
She danced just out of grasp, smiling mischievously.
"I warned you," She laughed even louder when he chased after her, his own smile grower wider by the second.
She didn't have to wait long before Touya caught up to her. He curled his arms around her waist as he carried her into their shower.
She honestly lost track of the amount of times he'd brought her to completion before their water ran cold and they'd both been forced to emerge.
She wouldn't be afraid to admit that she wanted to spend more time in bed with Touya but they did have guests that they needed to see off. Afterwards they would have the house entirely to themselves.
Kagome finished preparing herself for the day. She pulled on a simple flowing dress and threw a shawl over herself to cover any stray hickies or marks Touya may have left behind.
Her gaze drifted towards her husband's now unmarred flesh.
He really was the most attractive man she'd ever met and somehow he'd become her husband. Out of all the women in the world, she was the one he'd chosen to settle down with.
Touya threw a look over his shoulder at her, "Like what you see?"
Kagome laughed in return, "As if I wouldn't."
She laced his fingers with his as they finally emerged from their room. It was close to mid-morning by now but they could hear the sounds of a pleasant conversation flowing from the dining room.
"It's about time you two came out of your love nest." Natsuo snorted before his voice fell away completely.
A silence overtook the entire house when all sets of eyes turned towards them.
"Touya, your face!" Fuyumi pressed her hands to her face, tears threatening to fall.
Her husband held her hand all the tighter.
"I told you this one's quirk was special." He lifted their interlaced fingers to press an affectionate kiss to the back of her hand. "She's practically made me a new man with that ability of hers."
Rei didn't stop the tears from falling.
Kagome watched as her mother-in-law made her way towards them. A light smile touched the older woman's lips despite the heavy tears streaming down her face.
"How is this possible?" Rei held his cheeks between her palms, also marveling at the miracle of his fully healed flesh.
"It was a magic…." He tried to start.
Kagome forcefully slapped her hand over his mouth.
"That is your mother!" She hissed in her embarrassment.
She loved her husband, but not even she could live down the shame of hearing him use that phrase in front of her mother-in-law.
Touya's eyes flickered with the amusement she was sure he felt. He likely wouldn't have finished that sentence and was just looking to tease her. Still, she wasn't about to take the risk.
Shouto tugged on his oldest brother's shirt.
"How did you heal it?" The boy's eyes were wide with wonder and awe.
Kagome felt her heart twinge at the sight of his childlike excitement. She wanted Shouto to continue enjoying his childhood for as long as possible. She would not allow anyone or anything to shatter that bright part of his personality.
"This one did. You're too young to know the details, egg-head." Touya ruffled the top of his brother's head. "Now who's hungry? I'm positively famished!"
Her husband grinned as he brought her hand to his lips once more.
The look he flashed her way was heated—a silent promise for what was to come when their family finally left. Kagome felt a shiver of excitement run down her spine.
Maybe they could send everyone home just a tad early.
