Yukina might have went next, but it seems she is still playing into their hands. She was set to duel against Selena, but Selena forfeit after she forced Yukina to discard some of her cards. Then, Selena let Alonzo take over with the same strategy. By forcing Yukina to discard her cards, she'll lose when she has none left, and the Rodrigos don't care. All that matters to them is winning. Alonzo has also set a powerful defense with Fire Worm having 1800def points and Shield worm at 2000def points. He also had Herculean Warrior having 2400atk points. It also doesn't help that he has all his life points. As for Yukina, all she's got is her Wild Ally Snake with 1500atk points, one face-down, a mere 1000LP, and around half of her deck left. Seeing how the Rodrigos are, she can't allow herself to lose.
'I have to win. Not just for me, but I can't let duelists like them have their way.' Yukina thought. 'Whatever I do, I better do it fast. I've got around half of my deck left, and there is still the oldest to deal with.'
"Quit stalling. Make a move; or have you realized that you stand no chance of winning?" Alonzo said. "Between my Herculean Warrior and my worms, you've got no chance to get to my life points."
"Not even in your dreams!" Yukina said as she drew her next card. 'Perfect! This is just what I can use.' "Looks like I haven't lost all my best cards just yet, Alonzo."
"Say what?" Alonzo questioned.
"First, I'll tribute my Wild Ally Snake so that I can summon Wild Ally Lion!" Yukina said as she traded away her snake for her lion with it having 2400atk points. "I now activate Furious Fury, but we'll get to that after my lion attacks!"
"You're attacking? Don't forget that when you attack my Fire Worm, you'll have to send three cards from your deck to the graveyard, and you don't have many left to spare." Alonzo said.
"That would be a problem, but that ability only works when that's the monster I'm attacking." Yukina said. "The one I'm attacking is your Shield Worm!" Her lion pounced and unleashed its claws against his Shield Worm with it being destroyed. "And now the effects of my Furious Fury kicks in. Since my Wild Ally just destroyed a monster that was in defense mode, I'm free to destroy one card on the field, and I choose your Fire Worm!" Her spell unleashed a powerful blast and destroyed his fusion monster.
"Perfect. With that worm out of the way, she won't have to worry about sending more of her cards to the graveyard." Cindy said.
"But wouldn't taking out Alonzo's strongest monster would have been the better choice?" Marcus said.
"Not really since Fire Worm's ability was going to a problem since she already lost too many cards." Felix said. "Alonzo wouldn't dare risk losing his strongest monster. Since both her monster and his have the same attack points, he wouldn't dare attack, and that means Herculean Warrior's ability won't activate for her to lose more cards."
"That means Yukina is regaining control of this duel! Yeah!" Kent said.
"She's not out of the woods just yet." Felix said. "If Alonzo does manage to draw a card that increased Herculean Warrior's attack points, she's going to be in a bind again."
"But all of his cards are meant to deal damage, block her attacks, or force her to discard cards. There's no way this guy has something like that." Marcus said.
"I wouldn't be too sure. Based on what we've seen with the Rodrigos, they're willing to do anything to win." Felix said as this duel could still go either way.
"It's your move, Alonzo. Just know that no matter what you try, I'm not backing down." Yukina said. "Of course, if you don't get something to turn the tide, my monsters are going to pounce. I think they like to get some payback themselves." Alonzo is starting to get nervous. He might have his strongest monster, but it sounds like Yukina is going to make a big move soon.
"I don't believe this. I cut her deck down to size, but she still thinks she can pull off some sort of win against me?" Alonzo said. "All her best cards have to be gone by now, not to mention her life points are running low. She's got to be bluffing. My move!" He made his next draw and it was just the card he needed to shut Yukina up. "This will put you in your place. I activate Rush Recklessly! This is going to give my Herculean Warrior an extra 700atk points until the end of the turn!" His warrior gained even more power as it now had 3100atk points. "You're finished! Attack, Herculean Warrior!" His giant warrior attacked as it swung its giant club and smashed it against her lion. Not only did it get destroyed, but Yukina's life points dropped to a mere 300. What's more is his ability now kicks in. "Now that your oversized cat is gone, you have to send two cards in your deck to the graveyard while I get to draw two cards." That means Yukina has less than half of a deck to work with now. As for Alonzo's draws, there was one card he was really glad to get.
"I thought you said you were going to finish this, but I still have 300LP." Yukina said.
"Oh please. You have less than half of your deck left, and only a mere 300LP. Your best cards are probably gone." Alonzo claimed. "There's no way you can make a comeback now."
"I wouldn't be so sure because there's still a chance as long as I am able to duel." Yukina said. "Especially since I'm now playing my trap: Transmigrated of Beast! Since you just destroyed a Wild Ally that was at least level five, I can summon a Wild Ally that's level seven or higher from my hand by negating it's special abilities!"
"You mean you have a monster that powerful?!" Alonzo questioned.
"I sure do! I play Wild Ally Pegasus!" Yukina said. She summoned out her Pegasus as it came out with 2800atk points.
"A horse with wings but can't fly. Whatever will I do?" Alonzo mocked.
"You'll get your butt kicked." Yukina said. "Especially once your Herculean Warrior loses that power boost." She was right about that, but Alonzo had something planned.
"I'll just place this card facedown and end my turn. Since it's done, my Herculean Warrior's attack strength returns to normal." Alonzo said as his monster now had 2400atk points.
"This duel keeps going back and forth. Yukina has less cards than Alonzo, but she's still putting up a fight. With it being her now, will she pull off a comeback?"
"It's my turn now!" Yukina said as she drew her next card.
"Go ahead. There's really nothing you can do. I bet all your good cards have all been tossed aside." Alonzo said.
"You lose that bet! I'm activating Animal Incarnation!" Yukina said. "Thanks to this, I can take the attack points of a monster in my graveyard and add them to one on my field that's the same type. Since my Wild Ally Pegasus is a beast-type monster, I can give the power of my Wild Ally Lion to it!" Her lion's power transferred over to her Pegasus with its power rising all the way to 5200.
"No way!" Alonzo said as he couldn't believe Yukina managed to get a monster that powerful. "You're using the power of cards that are in your graveyard?!"
"And I wouldn't have been able to without your help. Thanks for this." Yukina claimed.
"Yeah! It doesn't matter how many cards Yukina has because she always pulls a comeback!" Kent called.
"With that, she'll deal big damage!" Marcus said.
"Wild Ally Pegasus, take down his Herculean Warrior!" Yukina ordered. Her Pegasus went on the attack as it flew straight at the mighty warrior.
"Did you honestly think I wasn't prepared for something like this?" Alonzo said. "I play Tricolored Eye! This trap negates your attack!"
"You've got to be kidding me!" Yukina claimed.
"There is a way for you to nullify that and continue your attack." Alonzo said. "You just have to draw one card, and what happens next depends on what you draw."
"What do you mean?" Yukina questioned.
"I'll explain. If you draw a monster, I take damage equal to that monster's attack points." Alonzo claimed. "If you draw a spell, you have to send it and one card in your hand to the graveyard. If you draw a trap, it goes to the bottom of your deck and you have to send two other cards to the graveyard. However, you don't have a lot of cards left in your deck. I doubt you'll get a monster to deal significant damage. You can always just choose not to draw and have your attack be blocked. Sounds like it's too much of a risk, so maybe you should have your attack be stopped."
"Another card that forces her to lose a card from her deck?!" Marcus complained.
"And if Yukina decides to take the gamble, her best chance is to draw a monster." Felix said. "However, even if she does draw a monster, it might not deal enough damage. She lost so many of her cards, and it's hard to say if she's got anything that really packs a punch." Yukina has a decision to make. Is she really going to take the chance.
"No way she's going to risk it when she already is so far behind." Aaron said.
"Besides, there's no way she's got anything left that can help her now." Selena said as they seem to think they have this won.
"I guess since you can't attack your turn is already over." Alonzo said.
"Who said anything about not attacking?" Yukina said. She was actually going to draw her card.
"What? You're actually going to draw a card?" Alonzo said. "It's not worth the risk."
"You and your siblings think you can just push others around to get whatever you want." Yukina said. "You don't seem to care who gets hurt in the process. You're just bullies, and the best way to deal with bullies is to stand up to you. I'm not just fighting for myself, but for my team as well. I believe that my deck will come through when it matters the most. Besides, it doesn't matter how rough you've had it. It's no excuse for dueling the way you guys have been. I won't lose to someone like you. That's why I'm not going to be afraid. I draw!" She drew her card and it ended up being a great draw. "It looks like it was a risk worth taking because the card I drew was Wild Ally Unicorn with 2400atk points!"
"No way! You still had a monster that powerful in your deck?!" Alonzo said as he and his siblings couldn't believe it. They thought Alonzo had this won. Since it was a monster, Alonzo took some damage from his own trap. He got zapped with his life points dropping down to 1600.
"And since my attack can still go on, I can finish you off! Wild Ally Pegasus, finish this with Starlight Storm!" Yukina called. Her Pegasus attacked as it unleashed a tornado of starlight that blasted against Herculean Warrior and destroyed it. That caused Alonzo to lose the last of his life points.
"Mother of all comebacks! Yukina has defeated Alonzo with less than half of a deck and with so few life points remaining! With Yukina's victory, Team Mystic has taken the lead with them having two wins and Team Rodrigo having only one duelist left!"
"Way to go, Yukina!" Cindy called.
"You really showed him!" Kent called.
"Yeah! Now we're winning this!" Yukina called, but the victory was short. An attack of some kind came at Yukina and blasted her.
"Yukina!" Her friends called as that was unexpected. Whatever that blast, it eliminated the last of her life points.
"What's this? Yukina's life points have depleted to zero?"
"How did that happen?!" Marcus questioned.
"Just look up ahead." Felix said. All of them saw that Aaron was the one responsible for it. He already had his duel disk and cards ready to go before he even stepped out on the field. He just went ahead and started his turn before anyone even saw anything.
"What are you so happy about?! We told you that this was no holds bar with no intermissions!" Aaron called, but he really just pulled a cheap shot. "You let your guard down!" Just when Yukina beat one Rodrigo and gain the lead for her team, the oldest had to step in and ruin it.
"That jerk! Yukina had her back turn!" Marcus said.
"That's not the key issue." Felix said. "Whatever card he played easily eliminated whatever few life points Yukina had left. Even if he had done it the honorable way, he still would have won. The problem is that he did it this way just to try and spite us."
"This guy's a lunatic. First, he hurts Kent. Now this? Acting like he has no humanity?" Cindy questioned with anger.
"That's not all. He's the one. He's the one that holds the Malicious Fiend." Kent claimed.
"That's right!" Marcus remembered. "In all this excitement, I almost forgot about that!"
"So he's the one that has it." Felix said as the danger only grows stronger. That means this one will be the toughest and the most dangerous. Aaron might be the oldest, but he might also be the strongest, as well as the most cynical. On top of having a Malicious Fiend in his deck, this is going to be a difficult match. With him jumping on the stage, he was just radiating with darkness and malevolent intent.
