Chapter 1: Kitty Nati Town
(the scene starts close to the grass on the ground as it was waving calmly from the breeze until it waved wildly from Grizelda's foot stepping on it backwards with Silverclaw following forward, the scene changes to reveal Grizelda and Silverclaw in battle, Grizelda was bobbing and weaving from the attacks Silverclaw was throwing at her, the two kept going until Grizelda ducked and leg sweeped Silverclaw to the ground, backwards. Silverclaw looked up at Grizelda as she held a hand out to help him out.)
"You've done well," (takes Grizelda's hand and stands up with her help.) "You were able to progress through the training without a problem." Silverclaw said
(appears out of nowhere from the shadows with Bartleby following behind carrying two cases of fishy poof crackers, startling Grizelda.) "You have gone through every training session in just one week, you've gotten 30 percent of your training done in that amount of time then any of your forefathers have done in their third year." Shadow said
"Yeah, you've had more training than I have." Bartleby said (tosses one of the cases of fishy poof crackers to Grizelda.)
(becomes shocked from hearing what they said after catching the case of fishy poof crackers.) "30 percent? But shouldn't I have gotten more than that from training in the Golden Cat dojo?" Grizelda asked
"How would we? You've mastered every skill we know." Shadow said
"Why not the ones back in…" Bartleby didn't get to finish (gets his mouth covered by Shadow and Silverclaw.)
"In where?" Grizelda asked
(Sighs and turns to Grizelda.) "Where we're from, the Kitty Nati was not just a group, it's a town." Silverclaw said
"A town?" Grizelda asked
"Yes, the Kitty Nati Town is where we learn the basics first before we go to the dojo in the Never Ending Forest." Shadow said
"But now that Grizelda learned all we know, we have to go to the town." Bartleby said
"Yeah, if Dharkon has been keeping his skills in shape, then I need to learn every skill the Kitty Nati has to be a match for him." Grizelda said
"Looks like we have no choice." Silverclaw said
"Very well, we shall take you to the Kitty Nati Town." Shadow said
(Jumps in excitement from it, startling Bartleby, only to stand straight and cough a bit in embarrassment.) "Sorry." Grizelda said
(Shadow facepalmed herself in annoyance as Silverclaw rolled his eyes figuring it would happen. A bit later, the group were walking down the path of the Never Ending Forest to the Kitty Nati Town, Grizelda looked around the forest as they were walking to see the scenery that she has never seen before finding out about her family, as their walk continued, Bartleby, Shadow and Silverclaw stopped in front of a boulder and were about to tell Grizelda, but they were too late when she walked into the boulder and fell to the ground.)
(Groans while holding her head in pain as Bartleby helps her back up on her feet.) "Why did we stop at a boulder?" Grizelda asked
"Wait and see." (walks over to the boulder and taps on it in a small rhythm making Grizelda confused only for the boulder to move back revealing a tunnel hidden under turning Grizelda's confusion into shock from seeing it.) "shall we?" Shadow asked (jumps down the tunnel making Grizelda worried.)
"Do not worry, it's the way to the town." Silverclaw said (jumps down the tunnel making Grizelda jump in fright a bit.)
"It's okay Grizelda, many cats have gone down it before, just gotta time the landing right." Bartleby said (jumps down the tunnel yelling in excitement.)
(As Grizelda walked close to the entrance, she was nervous about where the tunnel will take her, but once she jumped down into the tunnel, the entrance closed behind her, in the tunnel, Grizelda was screaming from going down it as Bartleby was cheering with joy while Shadow and Silverclaw were quiet, the four continue down the tunnel until they began going down a slide revealing the Kitty Nati Town with Grizelda's fear turning into surprise from seeing a huge town underneath the forest, she was in deep trance of the town, she didn't hear the others telling her to follow them.)
"This way!" Shadow shouted (leans left to go down a different slide with Silverclaw and Bartleby following behind.)
"Come on, Grizelda!" (looks back to see Grizelda didn't hear and went down the wrong slide.) "Grizelda!" Bartleby shouted
(Grizelda snapped out of the trance and saw she got separated from the others, she tried to shout out to them but ducked from going down a slide with a cover over it, she was worried about where she's going until she saw a light at the end of it, when she got close, she rolled out and fell on the floor stomach down, she slowly opened her eyes to see some young cats looking at her with surprised looks, Grizelda then stood up making the young cats surprised to see she was taller than them, but their surprise was interrupted when a pole tapping sound was heard causing the young cats to stand on the mats of their fur color as Grizelda tried to climb back up the slide she came down in only to get shakened from something hitting the slide on the outside, causing her to roll back out revealing an orange adult male cat in a blue shirt and a white robe.)
"Stand up straight!" (stomps his foot on the ground hard making Grizelda stand up in fright, he then walked behind Grizelda and looked closely at her tail, once he pinched it, Grizelda jumped up in fright, yowling like a cat and lands on all four from it.) "A tail of gold, Goldenrod's daughter I presume." the orange adult cat said
(Stands back up.) "How did you…" Grizelda didn't finish
"I trained alongside your father in this dojo when we were young and after his battle with Dharkon, I became the trainer of the dojo for young Kitty Nati cats, I am Kelton." Kelton said
"My mom never told me anything about this." Grizelda said
"That is because she wanted to keep you safe from the truth until the right time your tail would grow." Kelton said
(Grizelda was surprised by what Kelton told her and thought about it until the doors slammed open revealing Shadow and Silverclaw walking in as Bartleby ran in with panic.)
"You here, Grizelda!?" Bartleby asked in fright
(Moves his right arm out from behind his back revealing a wooden pole in place of where his paw would be and slaps it down on the ground making Bartleby, Shadow and Silverclaw stand up straight in fright.) "No shouting!" Kelton said
"Sorry sir!" Shadow and Silverclaw said
"Very sorry, we were just looking for a friend." Bartleby said
"The 200,000th Golden Cat you mean." Kelton said
"Guess that saved us the trouble of bringing her here." Silverclaw said
"You mean this dojo is where I'm gonna learn more?" Grizelda asked
"Kelton will help you learn more ways of the Kitty Nati for your battle against Dharkon." Shadow said
"And so you know, I won't go easy on you." Kelton said
(Grizelda gulped nervously about what Kelton said, an hour later, the group went to a house of the town they'll be staying at as Grizelda followed from behind, limping due to the intense training she had from Kelton.)
"Ow," (holds her back in pain and leans backwards while pushing her hands against her spine, popping it.) "That was more intense than the one in the forest." Grizelda said
"I know the feeling, at least you don't have a rival that's been one-upping you, I'm just glad I'm nowhere around…" Bartleby started
"He-hey!" a voice said (walks towards the house holding a box full of furniture designs revealing to be a red male cat older than Bartleby.)
"Ortan." Bartleby said
"Well if it isn't Bartleby, how's life as a slow learner?" Ortan asked
"I'll have you know I now have a red tabby belt." Bartleby said
"A red tabby belt? Wow, that must be nice. Not as nice as my blue tabby belt." Ortan said
"You wanna go now!?" Bartleby asked in rage
(puts down the box and gets into a fighting stance.) "You sure you wanna do this? I'm tougher than you think." Ortan said
"Ortan!" (walks over holding a box of clothing material revealing to be a pink female cat at Bartleby's height, stopping the fight before it could start.) "Show some respect, they're here for Goldenrod's daughter to learn more Kitty Nati skills." the pink female cat said
"Sorry Minta, I can't help it if I like to make fun of Bartleby, it's too easy." (gets whipped in the seat by Minta whipping her tail at him.) "ow!" Ortan shouted
"Just focus on the job you're doing, we have to make this house right for them and…" (walks forward a bit only to stop from seeing Silverclaw and felt her heart beating fast until she became excited.) "Silverclaw!" Minta shouted (throws the box of clothing material up into the air and runs toward Silverclaw.)
"What the?" Bartleby asked
"Oh here we go." Ortan said (grunts in pain from the box of clothing material landing on top of him, knocking him to the ground as Bartleby flinched from seeing it.)
(Stops real close to Silverclaw making him uncomfortable.) "I can't believe it, the Silverclaw, in Kitty Nati Town." (hops back a bit squealing in excitement.) "I'm your biggest fan." Minta said
"Biggest fan?" Silverclaw asked nervously
"I've got a collection all about you, your book of the ways of the cat, your claw sharpening kit, I even color dyed the tip of my tail to look just like yours!" Minta said (grabs her tail and moves it in front of her to show it to Silverclaw.)
"Let's have a talk about the clothing," (steps in and pulls the wild fan away from Silverclaw for him to faint, falling backwards.) "I know you're a fan of Silverclaw, but right now, you should focus on the duty you have right now." Shadow said
"Oh, right, sorry. Got really excited when I saw him, I even know the type of clothing he wears in each weather." Minta said
"What about armor?" Grizelda asked
"Armor? That's Al's job, I just do the clothing." Minta said (picks up the box of clothing material and talks to Shadow about what clothes to make as Ortan stood up in pain.)
"Just being friendly this once. Watch out for any boxes Minty throws into the air when someone says something about Silverclaw, she's the leader of the Silverclaw fan club." Ortan said
"Good to know." Bartleby said
(two or three hours later, the house was fully set up as Minty began working on the clothes for each of them, after a bit, the clothes were finished for the others to see they were exactly what they wanted, surprising them.)
"What do you guys think?" Minta asked
"You have quite the talent for clothing," (notices the tail part of the clothes.) "are those tail covers on the raincoats and snow gear?" Bartleby asked
"I'm a top designer for clothing." Minta said
"That is impressive." Silverclaw said
(Leans towards Silverclaw, making him uncomfortable again.) "You really mean it?" Minta asked
"Let's have a talk, just us girls." Shadow said (pulls Minta away from Silverclaw for him to sit down on a chair about it.)
"Yeah, she's been a fan of yours since the first mission you went on and wouldn't stop talking about you." Ortan said
(Walks to a window to look outside to see some adult cats talking peacefully to each other.) "How is everyone in the town able to live peacefully underground?" Grizelda asked
"Before Dharkon was removed from the throne," (scene changes to illustrations of some cats digging under a boulder and making a tunnel to a big cavern.) "we had to go underground when we didn't stand a chance against him, we had a bit of trouble adapting to it," (illustrates a few cats digging through some dirt until they found some glowing crystals behind a wall.) "but after 100 years, we found a power source to light up the town," (illustrates the caverns becoming more of a town every hundred years) "for years we've thrived and trained to be able to take on the dangers we come across" (scene changes to the present where Grizelda is still looking out the window.) "ever since that day, we have grown strong and only cats know about this town, it has been hidden ever since." Silverclaw said
"How come you haven't come up to the surface?" Grizelda asked
"Grizelda," (walks over to the window, next to Grizelda.) "This town is the place we could stay in all those years ago, and it's where we have been since Dharkon's rule." Bartleby said
"Yeah, it's been like that for us for more then 2,000,000 years, anyway," (picks up the box of furniture material and heads for the door.) "Me and Minta have to go now, come on Minta." Ortan said
"Coming!" (follows Ortan while carrying the box of clothing material only to stop and turn to Silverclaw, up close to his face making him lean back on the chair feeling uncomfortable once more.) "I hope you enjoy your stay." Minta said
"Come on!" Ortan shouted (grabs Minta by the shoulder and pulls her out of the house, slamming the door from behind.)
"You've got quite the fan." Grizelda said
"It is best to stay on course, for tomorrow it will be more brutal." Shadow said
(Grizelda let out a small squeak in fright about it as Bartleby let out a small scared meow. The next day, Grizelda was at the town dojo, training with the young cats under the tutelage of Kelton, the training went on for 3 hours and 30 minutes until a clock let out a chiming out signaling Grizelda and the young cats to stop.)
"30 minute break for lunch." Kelton said (leaves the room to somewhere else in the dojo.)
(sits down on the ground to rest after the hard training, she then picked up a case of fishy poof crackers and opens it to eat while seeing the young cats having their own cases of fishy poof crackers to eat.) "Where do you think Kelton goes during lunch?" Grizelda asked
"We tried to ask, but we never bother to since he's not much of a conversation cat." a young male cat said
"Some say he goes into solitary at times, even at lunch." a young female cat said
"I heard that Kelton takes his rage out in a hidden room of the dojo that is so far from this one that we can't hear his anger from when he lost his paw." another young male cat said
(Shushes the cat in fright.) "Don't tell her that, Kelton might hear." a third young male cat said
"We don't even know how he lost his paw." another young male cat said
(As the young cats continued to talk, Grizelda looked towards the door Kelton went through wondering about Kelton's past until one of the young cats snapped her out of it.)
"Sorry, has anyone tried to find out how he lost his paw?" Grizelda asked
"We tried, but if we did, Kelton would put us in detention for the rest of the day." another young female cat said
"And it's something no cat likes." a third young female cat said
"I'm sure it's not that bad." Grizelda said
"Trust us, you don't wanna do it." a young male cat said
"We've tried many times before, and got in trouble for it." a young female cat said
"Why not ask him about it?" Grizelda asked
"We've tried, but when we do, he tells us it's none of our business." another male cat said
"So it's best not to bother him about it." a third young female cat said
"What if I'm…" (hears the clock chime for her and the young cats to put away their fishy poof crackers and goes back to the mats of their color with Kelton coming back into the room, then whispers to one of the young cats next to her.) "What if I'm curious about it?" Grizelda asked quietly
"What was that?" Kelton asked (turns to the kids from hearing Grizelda's whisper making them jump a bit.)
"I was wondering how you lost your paw." Grizelda said
"It's none of your business." Kelton said
"Yes it is!" (stomps her foot on the ground making her point causing the young cats to become worried as Kelton raised an eyebrow about it.) "The others here have been wondering how you lost your paw and right now, I wanna know." Grizelda said
"How serious are…" Kelton didn't finish
(Leans in close to Kelton's face, determined.) "very serious." Grizelda said
"High noon tomorrow," (causes Grizelda to become wide-eyed about how calm he is about it as he turns to the young cats.) "That will be it for today, students, no training tomorrow either," (The young cats were confused about it until he leaned forward a bit towards Grizelda making her lean back a bit in fright.) "If you really wanna know how I lost my paw, you have to beat me." Kelton said
(the young cats gasped with fright from what happened which made Grizelda let out a small meow in fright. An hour later at the house, Grizelda had told the others about what happened at the dojo which frightened them.)
"You did what!?" Bartleby asked in fright
"I told Kelton I was serious about wanting to know how he lost his paw." Grizelda said
"You just got yourself into a lot of trouble, no one has ever stood up to Kelton before." Shadow said
"No one knows how he lost it, but we do know that because of it, he never gone soft once." Silverclaw said
"Well that's a buzzkill at parties." Grizelda said
(Pulls Grizelda close to his face in panic, making their noses touch.) "Kelton never held back in battle, not even against his own students!" Bartleby said
"Is there a way to…" Grizelda didn't get to say
(Pushes Grizelda back making her fall on her tush.) "There's no going back on a fight against Kelton after you tell him how serious you are about something!" Bartleby said
"You best get some training today, cause at high noon tomorrow, he won't hold back." Shadow said
"You have to be prepared for when the battle comes." Silverclaw said
(Grizelda became frightened and ran under the table on all four causing the table to shake from it, Bartleby kneeled down and looked under the table where Grizelda is.)
"Look Grizelda, we all have our battles, we just don't know when they'll happen, it's why you have to be prepared." Bartleby said
"But I don't even know if I can beat Kelton, you told me he doesn't hold back." Grizelda said
"Even if you can't beat him, you have to do your best." Shadow said
"Many students that have faced Kelton, did their best to beat him." Silverclaw said
"You guys really think I can do it?" Grizelda asked
"Do your best." Bartleby said
(later that night, Grizelda was sitting on the front lawn of the house worried about her battle with Kelton tomorrow, she tried to get her mind off it but a sign in the middle of town telling every cat about her battle with Kelton, she was unable to get her mind off it as she began to tear up until a metal hand reached over with a tissue in for her to see it.)
"Thanks." (takes the tissue to wipe her tears, but then became shocked about who gave her the tissue and turned her head to the one only to see Dharkon sitting next to her and jumped back in fright, landing on all four and dropping the tissue.) "You!? How did you get to the town!?" Grizelda asked in fright
"I came upon this town after my eighth attempt to take back the Rainbow Kingdom, I saw how peaceful this town is and decided to keep it a secret, which reminds me," (places the palm of his hand on Grizelda's forehead for a flash of white to appear around her for a few seconds until her vision started to clear up and saw she was in the Never Ending Forest and noticed Dharkon sitting on the ground, legs crossed.) "This is another one of my memories, the time of Dalton the 8th Golden Cat." Dharkon said
"Dalton?" (looks in a direction to see a short orange adult cat running in her direction, she braced herself only for her body to phase from Dalton running through her, she looked to see Dalton using two crossbows to swing around until she saw Dalton hang onto a branch upside down by claws on his feet, surprising her.) "whoa!" Grizelda said
"That is another ability your family has, each Golden Cat has their own special ability, but when I first saw you, I had a feeling that you're able to use each ability your forefathers have." Dharkon said
"But how will I…" Grizelda didn't get to say
"The abilities will come when the time is right." Dharkon said
(the vision then disappeared as Grizelda began to open her eyes to see Bartleby, Shadow and Silverclaw were waking her up until she sat up and stretched as Bartleby pushed her onto her feet.)
"How long was I asleep for?" Grizelda asked
"Long enough that it's almost noon!" Bartleby said
"You must hurry to the arena in order to face Kelton." Shadow said
"The town has an arena?" Grizelda asked
"We should've given her a tour before she entered the dojo." Silverclaw said
(at the arena, Kelton was doing some exercises as everyone in town were in the stands waiting for the battle to start until Grizelda entered the arena with the cage door closing behind her, she walked towards Kelton until she stopped on a white circle across from the one Kelton is on, the audience cheered for the battle to start until a light blue adult male cat taller than Grizelda appeared in a private stand and sat down on a throne with a white adult male cat in armor stepped forward to make an announcement.)
"I, the Kitty Nati High Master's Counselor, decree that the match will begin after the High Master's speech." the High Master's Counselor said
"No speech needed." the High Master said
"But master." the High Master's Counselor said
"This is a match that is rare to happen," (stands up and shouts out to the audience.) "This is a momentous occasion, a battle between a normal cat and a Golden Cat. On the left is the mentor of the town's dojo, Kelton!" (gestures to Kelton on his left for most of the audience to cheer.) "And on the right, the descendent of the Golden Cats and daughter of Goldenrod, Grizelda!" (gestures to his right for the whole audience to cheer which made Grizelda surprised from it.) "Now this is a type of battle that only happens when a cat is very serious about how Kelton lost his paw, this is the first in a long time since it happened." the High Master said
"It has?" (jumps a bit from hearing a Kitty Nati soldier appear out of nowhere and hand her a bo staff, making her confused as the soldier disappeared.) "What is this for?" Grizelda asked
"Our battle," (points the tip of his pole towards Grizelda.) "You must be prepared to face me." Kelton said
"Now then." the High Master said (sits back down and motions his counselor.)
"The match shall begin!" the High Master's Counselor said
(Without warning, Kelton charged forward making Grizelda hold the bo staff forward blocking Kelton's pole the best she could as Kelton struck her at different places, pushing her back with each hit until she was close to the edge of the arena, losing her balance for a bit. She thought she was okay until Kelton poked his pole against her head, tipping her over causing her to fall over the edge with her shoes flying off of her feet, Kelton turned and started walking towards the center of the arena while raising his pole up into the air as most of the audience cheered only to stop when the edge of the arena began to rotate upwards for Kelton to look over and see Grizelda still in the battle making him confused.)
"How..." (narrows his eyes at Grizelda as she goes off balance a bit only to catch her grip with her feet to realize she has claws on her toes.) "Dalton!" Kelton said
(Kelton ran towards one of the sides of the rotating edge and started climbing up until he reached the top and continued to swing his pole at Grizelda as she blocked each one with ease until she managed to push Kelton back a bit making him lose his balance a bit and began to fight back as the rotating edge began to spin causing the two to move while battling, the two kept going until Grizelda managed to knock Kelton's block off making him stumble and fall over the edge causing the others to gasp in fright, but as Kelton started to fall, he felt his fall had slowed down and looked up to see Grizelda had saved him while hanging onto the underside of the rotating edge with her feet, once the two are back on the ground, Grizelda dropped Kelton down onto his feet as she walked off the edge, the two looked at each other as the rotating edges went back to the way they were from the start and when Grizelda gripped the bo staff with one of her hands, Kelton reached for her other hand in a quick motion and raised it into the air declaring Grizelda the winner for the whole audience to cheer for her while Bartleby cheered excitedly about Grizelda's victory as Shadow and Silverclaw were shocked about it, the High Master was impressed as his Counselor was surprised from what he saw, later back at the house, Bartleby, Shadow and Silverclaw were congratulating Grizelda for her victory against Kelton with Ortan and Minta joining the celebration.)
"Alright Grizelda! You were able to beat Kelton!" Bartleby said
"Not only that, but you also managed to impress him." Shadow said
"No one has ever been able to impress him for almost ten years." Silverclaw said
"I have to admit, I'm glad Bartleby has you as a friend." Ortan said
"That was an amazing battle." Minta said
"And a skilled fighter." Kelton said (appears from behind startling the group.)
"You really snuck up on us there, how…" Grizelda didn't get to say
(Holds his only paw up, telling Grizelda to stop talking.) "I lost my paw from a battle with the High Master's Counselor during Goldenrod's fight with Dharkon." Kelton said (places his pole on his paw as the others gasped from what they heard.)
"One of our own betrayed us?" Bartleby asked
"That is not possible, none of our kind would dare betray the Kitty Nati." Shadow said
"Any that do would face punishment." Silverclaw said
"Why would he do that?" Minta asked
"He didn't tell me why, he just left after he took my paw." Kelton said
"I have to say, that is not cool." Ortan said
"Then I say we visit the Counselor" Grizelda said
(Jumps onto Grizelda's body, pressing his face close to her's.) "Are you crazy!? The Counselor is almost as tough as the High Master himself!" Bartleby said
"That won't stop me from talking to him about it." Grizelda said
"I can tell you're determined about it, but stay sharp, for the Counselor is a challenge." Kelton said
(later at the palace in the courtroom, the Counselor was cleaning the room making sure the dust was all cleared, but once he got to the accused desk in the middle of the room, he was pounced on by someone, revealing to be Grizelda, which made him panic.)
"Don't hurt me! Please!" the High Master's Counselor shouted
"Kelton told me what you did to him, and you're gonna tell me why." Grizelda said
"I never meant to do it! Please, let me go!" the High Master's Counselor shouted
(Just then, Bartleby, Shadow, Silverclaw and Kelton appeared out of the shadows, startling the Counselor.)
"Then why did you take my paw?" Kelton asked (holds the tip of his pole near the Counselor's face.)
"The High Master told me to do it!" (the others gasped from what the High Master had done.) "Now please, let me go!" the High Master's Counselor shouted
(Releases her grip on the Counselor, letting him fall to the ground.) "Why would the High Master do it?" Grizelda asked
"H-he never told me, I just did what he told me to do." the High Master's Counselor said
"If you had told us, we would've helped you." Kelton said
"It's no use, the High Master is too strong for even a group to fight him, except for her." (points at Grizelda making her confused.) "She can stop him." the High Master's Counselor said
"Grizelda? But she's only nine." Bartleby said
"Even so, she was able to beat Kelton." Shadow said
"Which means she can beat the High Master." Silverclaw said
(Grizelda looked down at her hands to see her claws sticking out, she felt she was gonna fight the High Master, she thought she was worried until her cat instincts kicked in, turning her eyes into slits like a cat eye. In the throne room of the palace, the High Master was talking to some citizens about a problem.)
"Do not worry, we will do what we can to…" (gets interrupted from Grizelda smashing through the throne and pouncing him to the ground. Grizelda clawed him a bit until he pushed her off and leaped away.) "What is the meaning of this?" the High Master asked
(Grizelda let out a hiss as she ran towards the High Master, swinging her claws at him as he dodge and parried the attacks until Grizelda nicked the High Master in the arm, leaving a scar on him, Grizelda then jumped back from the High Master grabbing a spear and swinging it. Grizelda was about to attack again only to look at her claws to see some of the High Master's fur got caught on it but looked closer to see it wasn't fur, her instincts went on high alert when she heard the High Master coming her way and jumped out of the way for the High Master to swing the spear, missing her as it got stuck in one of the columns, the High Master then looked around to see where Grizelda is, trying to sense her, only for Grizelda to rush out and kick him in the head, knocking it off his shoulders with wires sparking out, making everyone in the room gasp from what they saw as Bartleby, Shadow, Silverclaw, Kelton and the Counselor entered the room to see what happened.)
"What the?" Bartleby asked
"The High Master was a robot?" Kelton asked
"That's why he never answered my questions." the High Master's Counselor said
(Walks over to the robot head on all four as her cat instincts went down.) "This is unlike the metal my Grizmos used to make Grizbot." Grizelda said
"Did you have to bring that thing up? I still get nervous whenever someone mentions it." Bartleby said
"But without this one down, who is gonna take the place of High Master?" the High Master's Counselor asked
(as the others were talking about who is to be the High Master, Grizelda looked closely at the robot head until it let out a beeping sound making Grizelda jump back in fright and landing on all four, yowling, getting the others attention as a piece of paper scrolled out of the mouth for Shadow to take it and look the writing.)
"It's ancient Kitty Nati writing." Shadow said
High Master's Counselor: What? Let me see that, (takes the paper from Shadow and looks at it closely in shock.) it is ancient Kitty Nati writing, but it's been ten thousand years since any of us had read it."
(Takes the paper from the Counselor as he kept talking about it and looked closely at it, but when she got close enough, she felt her eyes glow yellow a bit for her to see what the ancient language said for a bit until she blinked for her eyes to stop glowing, she looked at the paper to see she know who it is.) "I think I have an idea of who it is." Grizelda said (tosses the paper behind her back and turns to where the crown fell.)
(Moves from the crowd to where the others are with Ortan following from behind, panting.) "What happened? We saw the crowd at the palace and came to see what's happening." Minta said
(Picks up the crown and walks over to Minta.) "I think you'll be okay with what is gonna happen next," (places the crown on top of Minta's head for everyone to become shocked from what they saw as she bowed before Minta.) "High Master." Grizelda said
(Minta was surprised about being made High Master, but as she was about to lift her arms to take the crown off, the others bowed before her, approving her rank from being given it by a Golden Cat. Two days later, the citizens of the town were throwing rope over the statue of the ex-High Master and tugged hard on the ropes until the statue tipped over and broke apart after landing on the ground as other citizens were working on making new houses, bigger than the old ones. Grizelda and Bartleby walked around town seeing how well the progress had been going as they approached a building that was getting started to build with Minta aiding in the construction.)
"As High Master Minta said, the strongest wood should be on the bottom so the buildings won't topple." the High Master's Counselor said
"Hey Counselor, the town is looking really good today." Grizelda said
"As it should be since the one we had didn't make any changes, we've been expanding the caverns so much that we never got to make the buildings better, we never knew the robot that portrayed our old High Master was corrupt, but now with Minta as the new High Master, we're able to make those changes." the High Master's Counselor said
"For many years, no one was able to beat him, and now thanks to you Grizelda, the Kitty Nati Town is getting better." Bartleby said
"Yeah, I've been a princess myself for so long, I've never knew how the others go through, but when my tail grew out, my whole life changed, if only my dad could see me now." Grizelda said (starts walking away from the construction of the new house with Bartleby walking beside her until the Counselor stopped them by speaking out to them.)
"Wait, the High Master wants to speak with you." the High Master's Counselor said
"She does?" Grizelda asked
(Later at the palace in the throne room, Minta was now wearing a robe as she was signing some documents for the town as Grizelda and Bartleby came over.)
"Building the dojo bigger will definitely help more young cats learn the ways of the Kitty Nati better," (lifts the robe and turns to check on the progress of the town until she saw Grizelda and Bartleby coming over.) "guys! I'm so glad you're here." Minta said
"The Counselor told us you wanted to speak to Grizelda, what was it you wanted to tell her?" Bartleby asked
"Oh, right." (turns to where the new throne is and whistles for the two soldiers next to it to move it out of the way revealing a Golden Cat statue behind it for Grizelda and Bartleby to become shocked from what they saw.) "We found it while we were cleaning up the mess two days ago." Minta said
"A Golden Cat statue, tales of the Kitty Nati say these statues let the descendents of the Golden Cats travel to the spirit world to speak with their ancestors." Bartleby said
"You mean like a portal?" Grizelda asked
"A portal for your spirit, if a Golden Cat descendent meditates in front of the statue, they travel to the spirit world to see the other spirits." Minta said
"That means you can see your father, Grizelda." Bartleby said
(Grizelda looked at the statue and was curious about what it could do, she got her tail into position and sat in a meditation position on her tail as she closed her eyes. Bartleby and Minta looked at each other about what would happen next, but when they looked back at Grizelda, she was silent until her eyes opened revealing them both glowing white.)
