Three months later….
It has been nearly three years now since Inuyasha first stepped into the castle his life has changed so much since then he got married, mated, and now once again to give birth soon. Twenty hours later, the castle occupants began to stir and awake to the smell of food.
Scott and Inuyasha were the first to leave their room carrying their pups. Going to the kitchen and sitting down on one of the bar stools after placing the boys in the highchairs. Moments later, Shippou exited the back room with plates and silverware.
"Morning king and mate king, how are you?"
"Great Shippou but should you be on your feet at such a late stage in your pregnancy?" Inquired Scott.
"I am fine, my king."
"Okay."
Shippou went back to what he was doing and the rest of the occupants started to arrive and sat down. Eventually the kitchen was filled with a bustle of laughter and conversation while the table was being set. Ten minutes later, the table was set and the food started to be brought out.
Eventually the Island stand was filled with food. Chris looks to Scott.
"Since Peter and I are retiring you will need a new leader of the guard don't you think?"
"True but let's talk about that later right now let's eat."
Nodding and everyone began to eat. Thirty minutes later, with bellies filled and everyone satisfied they left to go relax off the big meal. Hours later, sounds of screaming could be heard from throughout the castle.
"Babe I am in labor, guess it is time for our daughter to come to the world."
"Just relax and breathe."
"They then heard rapid knocking Scott got up not caring that he was naked went to open the door and see who it was. Upon opening the door another contraction hit Inuyasha causing him to scream. On the other side of the door stood Shippou with hot water and blankets.
Stepping aside to let him in, Shippou quickly went over to the bed and prepared for the birth of his cousin. Remembering what to do Inuyasha shifted and spread his legs apart as far as he could. Scott returned to the bed and grasped Inuyasha's hands for comfort.
"You're doing great uncle now push." Inuyasha began pushing before long they all heard the cries and yipping of the pup.
"Great job babe our daughter is here. Scott got off the bed and used his claws to cut the cord.
Then Shippou placed the pup in the hot water to clean her off. Once she was clean he handed her to Inuyasha to feed. Bringing her up to his chest she then quickly latched onto his nipple and started to suckle.
Not seconds after she latched onto his nipple another scream was heard. Then clawed toes were heard running towards the master bedroom.
"My king Chris is in labor."
"Duty calls." Announced Shippou.
Shippou followed Peter back to his room moments later, screams could be heard. Before long the cries of another pup could be heard. Shippou briefly returned to check on Inuyasha after making sure that Chris was okay then left to go relax remembering his own late pregnancy.
Not wanting to bring on an early labor he paced himself on his way back to his mates. When he arrived, he saw them smiling and holding out trays of food for him.
"Welcome back babe and well done. You must be hungry and tired after spending a full day delivering two babies?" Joked Ginta.
Shippou nodded and climbed into bed, ate and then fell asleep. Forty-eight hours later, Shippou awakened to tremors of pain and a pool of wetness on the bed. Acting on instinct and assuming the same position that Chris and Inuyasha both took and readying himself for what's to come.
Both Ginta and Hakkaku ran into the bathroom to grab towels, hot water, and disinfection. By the time they returned Shippou had already shifted and began pushing. Moving quickly and doing what they read about in the books prepared them physically and mentally.
Hours later, cries and yips were heard once again throughout the castle. Then the phone rang ever the attendee Peter got up to answer it.
"Hello." Said Peter.
"Hi this is Derek we met a while back."
"Yes, I remember you are the mate to that strapping young cat."
"Yes, but that is the reason why I called Stiles just recently gave birth to our daughter and he wanted me to tell the kings."
"Don't worry I will relay the message. Inuyasha, Chris, and Shippou just gave birth to a girl as well."
"That is splendid news. I hope they're doing alright?"
"They're right now resting so I will relay the message to everyone at dinner."
"Thanks, And take care."
"You as well."
Peter hung up the phone and turned to his mate who was sleeping peacefully. Going over to the bed and picking up their daughter, placing her into the nearby crib.
Meanwhile back in Shippou's room as well as Inuyasha's room….
Both Shippou and Inuyasha had fallen asleep from the ordeal. Scott as well as Ginta place the pups in the crib then go back to their beds and climb in cuddling their mates pulling them close. The next morning there was the sound of knocking on the mated couples doors.
Scott, Peter, and Ginta answered the doors only to see a cart of food with a note
CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your daughters here is some food and water for the mother so they can recover more quickly. Sincerely Sesshomaru.
The three pulled the cart into their rooms then removed the trays from the carts and placed them on the beds. Pushing the carts out in the hallways and ringing the bells. Walking back inside the rooms, closing the doors.
For the next week was pretty much the same, Sesshomaru would cook and deliver the carts to the rooms so that his brother, son, and friend could regain their strength. On the morning of the following day Sesshomaru prepared a large display of food for the entire castle and guests.
Everyone in the castle was awakened by the smell of food and quickly downed robes and slippers. By the time everyone had arrived at the dining area, Sesshomaru had finished placing the last plate of food. There sat Derek, Jordan, Stiles, Ethan, and their daughter/granddaughter.
With smiles on their faces the castle's occupants also sat down and joined into the feast. An hour later, the silence was broken by Koga.
"So, now that I am a Grandfather, Great uncle, among other things, why don't we get to the reason why those four are here?"
"In due time, pack father." Added Inuyasha. For now let's not have this wonderful feast go to waste."
Koga nodded and everyone went back to eating. When most of the food was eaten the silence was broken once again but this time by Chris.
"As you all know that I am getting old to the point of death, that means we need a successor for our position in the castle guard leadership. It is astounding that I was able to have an heir before I died.
I thought that I would never conceive an heir at my age. Being human unlike my mate and the rest of you are either of demon blood or werewolf blood. I would like to pass the torch to Jordan Stilinski, that is if you will take the position that is?"
"I am deeply honored that you selected me, Chris and Peter. But I do have other duties at the Inn. I will be willing to leave my job if the King and Mate King will have me."
"We are honored to have you live here and be a part of our pack. That is only if those three are willing to live with us as well."
"Well this was originally my home Scott long before I even met my mates Derek and Stiles. But it is up to them if they are willing to leave."
"Wherever you go we go Ethan." Admitted Derek.
"That goes double for me. Said Jordan.
"Then it is settled Peter and Chris will retire then Jordan will take over as security of the castle." Announced Scott.
Once the decisions were made the table was cleared. Afterwards the resignation forms were filled out and signed. Peter and Chris packed up most of their belongings and bid everyone adieu. Loading up the truck and giving everyone hugs goodbye.
Taking out his cellphone and calling the Inn.
"Hey Lisa, it's Jordan. I am calling to inform you that the four of us are quitting our jobs and moving in with a friend."
"Thanks for letting me know I will inform the boss. As you are well aware that you will have until the end of week to gather your belongings."
"Yeah that won't be a problem, we already plan on coming to get our stuff before the end of the day tomorrow morning at the latest."
"Sounds like a plan. I hope you guys are well and have a nice life."
With that the phone call was concluded and Jordan gave a thumbs up. The three nodded and smiled then jumped up for joy for joining in the pack. Hours later, Jordan and Derek returned with their belongings and what leftover food that they had in the fridges.
Everyone helped them bring in the boxes to Ethan's room and to Peter/Chris's room. They began to unpack their belongings and set everything up. Few hours later, with boxes unpacked and belongings set up, it was time for everyone to go to bed and call it a night.
