Prompt by safeaniston "Harvey and Donna take Dance lessons"
Samba Lessons
Harvey struggled holding in a snort as he watched Donna fumble over her two left feet.
"You laugh you die, Specter." She grumbled over the samba music as their instructor, Claude kept redirecting her direction of movements.
Harvey never knew Donna was such a klutz when it came to dancing. She walked with the grace of a ballerina, effortlessly twirled in and out of his arms when they danced at firm galas, swayed her hips knowingly at clubs and teased him to no ends within the confines of their bedroom.
And yet somehow, Donna sucked at almost every dance lesson they'd taken so far with Claude.
"It's the beat of the music it's too fast!" She whined as an excuse, Harvey was reveling in seeing Donna "I'm better than perfect at everything" Paulsen.
He bet she regretted choosing this as their date night activity now.
"Mmhm, sure sweety." Donna scowled at his mocking tone and Claude sighed as she stepped on his foot for the third time.
"Let's take a break. H-arvey, come, let's see if you still remember how to move your hips."
Harvey started moving to the steps of the song next to Claude, mimicking his footsteps. He then started swaying his hips and Donna bit her lip at the image.
She may have felt ridiculous in her red sequined dancing heels as she fumbled like an otter out of water, blushing as she tried keeping up with the demanding steps and the less than constructive "you have to feel the beat inside you Donna" comments.
She may have also felt an annoyance at Harvey insisting this was a bad idea for date night, signing up for lessons in Seattle when they could've been at home instead or at a nice bistro someplace. But Donna had reminded him they did cooking lessons like he wanted and she was hesitant at first at the idea of being near ingredients but it ended up being fun. plus, sue her, she wanted to show off like he had when they were making pasta from scratch.
Her plan had backfired. Miserably. And yet, standing here watching Harvey in his dress shirt open at his chest, sleeves rolled up showing off his prominent forearms and dark tuxedo pants that somehow hung low on his hips as he swayed them seductively- Donnas eyes widened at the image playing out before her eyes.
Yeah, she was pretty happy with her choice still.
Harvey may have still been the one impressing her with his uncanny ability to be good at everything, but she was not complaining as Claude readjusted his hip movement to be even more vigorous.
She pictured the skillset she knew lived in his agile leading hipbones, how he had rhythm, knew instinctually when to go hard or slow, how giving he was with his intense thrusts, how he'd move clockwise or counterclockwise and-
Donna bit back a moan as Harvey for some absurd reason began thrusting the air in circular motion with Claude's guiding hands on his sides. Donna shook her head somewhat turned on somewhat bemused with the entire thing.
"Get your hands off my man Claude." Donna teased eliciting a smirk and a laugh from Harvey before Claude responded "then come dance with your husband better than I do!"
Donna scoffed in mock outrage before moving towards Harvey. He smiled seductively at her as he fixed her arms in his properly before moving his hips expertly just like Claude had shown him. Donna struggled to keep up with him as she side stepped and twisted her hips while moving across the floor.
Feeling Donna about to trip over her own feet, Harvey grabbed her arm to pause her movement so they could switch to the over dance move Claude taught them. All Donna would have to do is twist her hips standing in place while Harvey essentially moved her arms and fixated his stance to rest low, eyes deliciously set on her waist. "Now this, I like" Harvey murmured low so only she'd hear and Donna let out a laugh as she caught his darkened eyes.
40 seconds into this move Harvey gracefully shot up and released one of his arms to let Donna twirl out of his, when Donna somehow managed to stumble into Claude, who landed on unceremoniously on - thank god- the nearby bench. Harvey bellowed out laughing as Donna turned red in mortification. "Maybe the waltz is more your thing." Claude commented rubbing his lower back.
