Kaza sat at his shrine after morning prayers, his mind consumed by the information he had gathered during the last mission. With closed eyes, he took a deep breath, allowing himself to focus on the present moment while reflecting on his family's history. The curse that plagued the Togusa Clan was a well-known fact; its effects, however, remained shrouded in mystery. No male member of the clan had lived past the age of 26, and as they grew stronger, their lives tended to end prematurely. Though the exact cause of these deaths remained unknown, many perished in battle, meeting their end with valor.

Since the mission, Kaza had delved into his family's past. Two of his uncles had fallen defending the clan from a raid by Iwagakure ninja during the last great war. Another had perished in a pivotal battle at the war's onset, sacrificing himself to save his team. His aunt was said to have died protecting a hospital on the front lines, her body never recovered. As for his parents, his father had died putting an end to a rebellion and saving an entire village, while his mother had passed away in childbirth.

Opening his eyes, Kaza pondered the possibility of succumbing to the same fate. Clinching his fist, he knew that he was going to face like challenges. Events that would push him to the limit. He couldn't let fate take him down like it had taken down his family. No, he had a purpose now. He aimed to prove to the world that the Togusa Clan was not defined by failure, but rather possessed greatness equal to any other.

Rising to his feet, a smile graced Kaza's lips as he resolved to defy fate and leave his mark on the world. Fueled by confidence, he instinctively gravitated towards one destination: the home of Ino Yamanaka. Eager to assist her with her flowers and simply be in her presence, he set off without hesitation.

As he walked, Kaza felt a surge of energy within him, ready to assist with the gardening at the Yamanaka gardens, used for their flower shop. Having helped once before, this would be his second time. Despite his nerves—he was helping out Ino Yamanaka, the girl of his literal dreams—he couldn't let that deter him. Aware that his odds with the beauty might not be the best, he resolved to be friendly and support her as best as he could. Unbeknownst to him, the teal-haired young man had left a very good and solid impression on Ino the last time he had helped out.

Approaching their home, he knocked and waited for someone to answer. After a moment, Inoichi opened the door and smiled. "Good morning, Kaza-kun. Are you here to see Ino, help out with the flowers, or perhaps check out the rose seeds you left?"

"All of the above, honestly, Inoichi-sama," Kaza replied respectfully, looking up at the older ninja. Despite his nerves, Inoichi could sense Kaza's outstanding character, reminiscent of his father's, whom he had known.

"Well then, come on in," he said warmly, stepping aside to let Kaza enter. "Ino's out back tending to the flowers. I'm sure she'll be glad to see you."

Kaza entered the house, his heart beating quickly in his chest as he walked through the house, and right to the backyard. He looked as he saw the blonde working on taking care of flowers, her attention at that moment was on a few of the teal roses, the Togusa Roses he had given her, her efforts were admirable as he smiled. He felt his nerves fade away as he looked at her radiating beauty.

Inoichi looked at the boy, he saw the interaction, and he could already have the gut feeling that the boy was going to be a large part in the future of his daughter. He was rather happy about that fact, having such a good young man around would be good for her. He turned and left, leaving the pair to have their time together.

"Good morning, Ino-chan," Kaza said softly. "How are you doing this morning, also how are the flowers doing," he asked softly, walking up ready to help out in any way he could this morning.

Ino glanced up from her work, a smile brightening her features as she spotted Kaza approaching. "Hey, Kaza-kun!" she greeted warmly, setting down her gardening tools. "I'm doing great, thanks for asking. And the flowers are doing well, thanks to your help last time." She gestured to the vibrant roses he had given her, her eyes sparkling with appreciation. "They're blooming beautifully."

As Kaza joined her, offering his assistance, Ino couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement in her chest. She appreciated his presence more than he could know, and she was grateful for his willingness to help out in the garden. Working alongside him felt natural and comforting, like a shared moment of serenity amid the chaos of their ninja lives.

Kaza felt a natural warmth and comfort being near Ino; she was like a beacon of light, and he wanted to bask in her radiance as much as possible. As they worked, he moved flowers, did heavy lifting, and tended to any task Ino requested. He also spoke, offering ideas and sharing wisdom with her, the two of them spending the entire morning working in harmony.

Unbeknownst to Kaza, he had a similar effect on Ino. She had found a man with whom she could share her love of flowers, someone who cared for and supported her, and who would willingly join her early in the morning to work together. Moreover, Ino had come to realize that Kaza was every bit as unique and handsome as the Uchiha who had previously captured her heart. She found herself stealing moments to think about him in private, recognizing that Kaza was truly one-of-a-kind, charming, and almost like a rare gem among boys. There was no one else quite like Kaza Togusa, and Ino was beginning to appreciate that fact more and more.

By afternoon, Kaza and Ino had finished their work for the day. "Well, that was great. Thank you for letting me help you, Ino-chan," he said, his cheeks flushed with shyness.

Ino smiled warmly at Kaza. "No problem at all, Kaza-kun. I really appreciate your help. You're welcome here anytime," she replied graciously.

"Of course, I will work out some type of schedule for when I come over, I want to help you as much as I can. However, I can, Ino-chan, you're my friends and friends help friend, and getting to work with your flowers is great, maybe sometimes you can come over and help me when I work in my late grandmother's gardens around the shrine too?"

"That sounds like a wonderful idea, Kaza-kun," Ino replied with enthusiasm. "I'd love to come over and help you with your grandmother's gardens. It'll be a nice change of scenery, and I'm sure I'll learn a lot from working with you there."

As Kaza was about to take his leave from the Yamanaka household, Inoichi couldn't help but notice the look on his daughter's face. He smiled as he looked at her, "It seems like young Kaza has left a rather impressive impression upon you," he said softly to his daughter, so Kaza didn't hear him.

Inoichi's observation made Ino blush slightly, but she couldn't hide her smile. "Yeah, Dad, he really has," she admitted quietly.

"Kaza-kun, stay, Ino needs to work on her family jutsu and I think you might be a good person to practice this ability with," Inoichi said looking at the boy.

Kaza paused and then nodded his head. "Of course, any way I can help, Ino, I'm all for," the boy said with his usual positive tone of voice, his dedication to his crush that he thought was one-sided being pretty absolute.

"Okay, come on, you two," Inoichi said as he led them into the meditation and training room in the house. This was not for sparring or anything like that, but a place for Inoichi and Ino to train in the Yamanaka mental abilities. Ino was still very much mastering her abilities and had a way to go.

Kaza followed Inoichi and Ino into the training room, curious about what awaited them. He knew about the Yamanaka clan's unique mental abilities but hadn't experienced them firsthand. Excitement flickered in his eyes as he anticipated learning something new and supporting Ino in her training journey.

Kaza sat down as he was instructed, "Okay Kaza just relax, and this is mostly training for Ino," Inoichi said calmly, "Ino has the ability to communicate telepathically, we have been working on this element but working with someone that she can naturally have a connection with will help her. I am sure that the two of you can communicate naturally, without any problems even far apart from one another."

Kaza turned beet red from hearing those words, and the realization that he could communicate this way potentially with Ino. He had to take a long moment to compose himself looking away, having not seen the slight blush upon Ino's cheeks at that same moment. He closed his eyes and relaxed himself when it suddenly happened. 'Kaza-kun, um this is me Ino-chan, speaking right into your mind,' Ino said the connection between them was basically natural, the mental link established perfectly the first try.

Kaza smiled, 'Ino-chan this is so amazing you're the best,' he replied back through his thoughts without any though of how natural this felt even to him. His heart was beating quickly out of excitement in his chest as he was looking away from Ino.

Inoichi observed the exchange with satisfaction, pleased to see the telepathic connection working smoothly between Kaza and Ino. He nodded approvingly at their progress.

Ino sensed Kaza's excitement and couldn't help but smile internally at his response. 'Thanks, Kaza-kun. You're pretty amazing yourself,' she replied warmly, the telepathic link feeling natural and effortless.

Kaza's heart raced with joy at Ino's words, his cheeks flushing even deeper. 'Thanks, Ino-chan. I'm just happy to be here with you,' he thought back, feeling a sense of warmth and connection that transcended physical boundaries.

Kaza did something surprising, Kaza thought about the moments before, the moments on his first two missions out of town. In that moment, Kaza shared a mental image with Ino. This image was of the beautiful beach, the lovely sea washing over the land, the peaceful sea breeze against his face, the warmth of the sun, and the sounds of the sea and birds. Unknown to him, the mental image and everything else transferred over to Ino completely intact as she saw and felt all of it.

Ino watched the images, she could smell the scenery. If she didn't know better, she would think she was right there with him. She felt warmth spread over her body as she realized that this connection wasn't normal. The natural bond between herself and Kaza was special and something that grew so quickly, that she wondered if there was some greater fate at play. She felt her heart beat quickly as she looked over the images that she was able to get from him. It was so lovely so beautiful, and she wished she was there in real life with him at that moment.

"Wow, Kaza-kun, that was incredible," Ino said, her voice filled with wonder and gratitude. "I felt like I was actually there with you." She couldn't help but feel a deeper connection to Kaza as she realized the extent of their telepathic link.

As the afternoon progressed, the two teenagers shared images and thoughts with each other, and the day was filled with joy and happiness. However, the day eventually came to an end, as Kaza had to head home and prepare for training the next day. Nevertheless, he would always be able to talk with Ino now, and their bond was evolving quickly as the two became connected in a unique way.

Inoichi watched Kaza leave, reflecting on the past when he and Ryota had shared the news of their impending fatherhood. Ino and Kaza were born within a few weeks of each other. Was this the hand of fate once again connecting the Yamanaka and Togusa clans? He had a feeling it might be, but in this case, it wasn't a bad thing at all.
