Opportunities for Redemption:
Allah provides numerous opportunities for individuals to seek redemption and draw closer to Him. The continuous cycle of day and night, the changing seasons, and the phases of life all symbolize His merciful system allowing for growth, reflection, and improvement.
"In sha Allah...We Shinigamis have two principal duties..." Rukia continued her lecture with her Chappy drawings, completely ignoring the boy's insult upon her artistic work.
"First, to conduct wholes to the Soul Society by means of Konso..." she explained, referring to Chappy and the arrow pointing to the flower land of the Soul Society.
"And second..." she added, "eliminating the Hollows," referring to the bad Chappy marked with an X on its face. "Which is my mission now," she concluded.
While the 'Shinigami' was explaining, Ichigo, on the other hand, was busy wiping his mustache on the floor to remove the ink. But when he heard about her mission, he couldn't help but get concerned.
"Hang on," Ichigo called as the scowl deepened. "You mean there's a Hollow around here now?" he asked.
"There is," Rukia answered matter-of-factly.
"astagfirullah...Are you stupid!?" he exclaimed suddenly. "Don't stand there yapping! Go out and eliminate it!"
Ichigo began to wiggle off the floor in fear of what might be happening at this very instant.
"Actually, that is..." Rukia began to say in concern. "I have not been able to detect its presence for some time now."
"What... Why not?" Ichigo asked in concern. "What's the—"
A sudden terrifying chill came over Ichigo's body, followed by a howl from somewhere.
"Like some force obstructing my senses," Rukia admitted as she analyzed the situation.
"Hey!" Ichigo yelled at Rukia. "Hey, Shinigami!"
"What's wrong?" Rukia asked, turning to the boy annoyed. A while ago, he didn't believe that she's a Shinigami, and now he's yelling and referring to her as one.
"auzubillah...WHAT'S WRONG?!" Ichigo yelled again in impatience. "That blood-curdling howl? What was that?"
"Blood-curdling howl?" Rukia asked confused. "Maybe..." then suddenly she felt it. The presence of a Hollow.
She sensed that the presence was being filtered by something.
'But how could this boy hear it before me?!' she asked herself.
"AAAHH!" suddenly a scream was heard from downstairs.
Rukia immediately turned her focus towards the sound.
"auzubillah...That was Yuzu!" Ichigo immediately realized, beginning to get agitated.
Rukia, on the other hand, sprinted towards the screams.
"Hey! Where are you going!?" Ichigo asked concerned. "Was that the howl of a Hollow?"
"Yes!" Rukia affirmed as she was running towards the door. "In sha Allah...I am going to eliminate it! So stay right here!"
"Hold up!" Ichigo yelled in concern. "That's my family being attacked! Undo your spell now!"
"astagfirullah...Don't be a fool!" Rukia yelled back. "There is nothing you can do! You'll only succeed in adding to the body count! Be quiet and leave this to me! Understand?!"
But as soon as Rukia opened the door, she felt an electrifying sensation.
'Subhanallah...Where is this energy coming from?!' she asked herself.
"I.. Ichigo.. Are you okay?" the bloodied girl crawling by the door asked.
"auzubillah...Karin!" Ichigo called out to his sister.
"Alhamdulillah... It hasn't come this way," she said, feeling a bit relieved despite her devastating state, seeing that her brother is safe. Because although she might never say it, she loved her family, especially her older brother.
Ichigo looked at his sister in suspended disbelief.
"It happened so fast... Dad's back exploded, and he fell..." she whispered. "Then it went for me and Yuzu... So fast... I thought I had to warn... Ichigo..."
Ichigo became paralyzed at the mental image of what had happened to his family.
"Hurry... Before it finds you," Karin said in a weakened smile to comfort her brother. "Run."
Ichigo gritted his teeth.
"It's okay," Rukia said, checking the young girl lying on the floor. "Alhamdulillah...She just passed out."
Ichigo began to move vigorously, trying to break the energy rope fired by Rukia at him, causing a cracking sound.
"astagfirullah...Stop! What are you doing?!" Rukia yelled at the teenage boy. "subhanallah...No human strength is enough to break the Kido! If you force it, you will—"
"Aaaaahhh!" Ichigo yelled, suddenly a loud snapping sound sent energy waves.
Rukia was so shocked she was immobilized.
'la hawla wala kuwata illa billah...Impossible!' she thought as the boy ran past her, armed with a baseball bat.
"auzubillah...Wait!" Rukia yelled at him in concern.
"Yuzu!" Ichigo called out to his younger sister. "Dad!"
The scene he saw downstairs was a wreck. Blood spluttered everywhere.
Then he saw the monster by the smashed wall of their home. Immense fear came over him.
'auzubillah...Its... It's a...' the thought running over his head. 'Hollow!'
The fear paralyzed his entire body, then he saw his younger sister in the monster's hand.
"Yuzu!" he called.
"Ichigo!" Yuzu called her older brother with tears in her eyes.
"bismillah" Ichigo prayed, as he immediately leapt into action and attacked the monster with a baseball bat.
But the monster broke his weapon so easily. Ichigo fell on his behind, watching the Hollow about to strike him.
'auzubillah' He thought as he realized immediately that he would not be able to avoid its fatal blow.
Suddenly the girl jumped in front of him and sliced the monster's arm easily. And for a moment, their eyes met.
"GRARRRR!" the monster yelled in agony, finally letting go of the human girl in his hand.
"subhanallah...Yuzu!" Ichigo worriedly shook her sister's unconscious body. "Are you okay?"
"Stay calm, boy!" Rukia yelled at the teenager. "Alhamdulillah...the Hollow has not eaten any of your family yet!"
"Why did it attack my family?" he asked the Shinigami.
"Hollows are drawn to high levels of energy," Rukia stated stoically.
"What's that mean?" Ichigo asked confused.
"auzubillah...I believe he was looking..." Rukia grimly hypothesized. "for you."
