Al-Mudhill
The Giver of Dishonor
This is mentioned in the Quran in Surah Ali 'Imran (3:26) where Allah says, "Say, 'O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent.'"
The relevance of understanding Allah as Al-Mudhill in the modern world lies in recognizing the consequences of arrogance, oppression, and unjust behavior. It serves as a reminder of the importance of humility, fairness, and kindness in our interactions with others. In a world where power dynamics, wealth disparities, and social injustices are prevalent, the concept of Al-Mudhill reminds us of the ultimate authority and justice of Allah and the responsibility we have to uphold justice and honor in our actions.

Eric watched the flame burst up to the skies as though it were dancing atop the tumultuous water, pledging that he would never be of assistance to the corrupt and would fight evil at the cost of his life, even if it were against his own family and lineage.
The old man rushed towards the fire as consternation overwhelmed him; his entire life's work and the sacrifice of his ancestors were turning to dust in front of him. Suddenly, he looked at his grandson in anger and frustration.
"Was it so wrong that we wished to ensure that our lineage... your future would be better than ours? That you and your future progeny will be protected from harm? To immortalize our legacy?" he asked as blood oozed from his mouth, flowing through his burnt flesh.
"It's not... but the way you're trying to gain it is evil," he found himself uttering as the old man held his shoulder.
"Evil?" he asked. "Who gets to decide what is evil and what is good? You?"
Eric looked at his grandfather.
"Do you even know for sure what is good and what is evil?" he pried. "You are naive. The one who can decide what's good and what is evil is the one holding greater power. In this world, the weak have no strength to decide what is good and evil. Do you really think there is such a thing as justice in this world? That's why I did my best to become strong and to make you strong. Because powerful ones get to decide and stay safe from harm from others. And that is good. Is it not?"
Eric pushed his grandfather. "But not at the expense of others," he justified.
"Sacrifices need to be made," he said.
He shook his head. "I don't want to be part of it," he said before falling into the sea.
Vaijin observed Rukia as she escorted her from the academy towards the Kuchiki manor, noticing with a keen eye that she bore an uncanny resemblance to Hisana, the late wife of Byakuya Kuchiki.
When she received the news from her agent that Byakuya had discovered Hisana's abandoned younger sister, she immediately sensed that something significant was about to unfold within the Kuchiki clan. Her intuition proved correct; Byakuya decided to adopt Rukia as his sister, defying both clan laws and objections from elders.
Before long, he tasked Vaijin with personally escorting and monitoring Rukia to ensure her safety, recognizing the looming threat of assassination that shadowed her every step.
Weeks later, Rukia reluctantly accepted their generous offer. However, rather than exuding joy at her newfound status within the prestigious Kuchiki lineage, Rukia appeared as if she were walking towards death's door. This sparked a deep concern within Vaijin; she feared that Rukia might struggle to handle the weighty responsibilities and lofty expectations that came with being a noblewoman, doubting whether she possessed the qualities necessary to become a princess of the Kuchiki clan.
Upon arriving at Rukia's designated living quarters, Vaijin informed her that she could call upon her lady-in-waiting for any assistance.
"Arigatou," she heard Rukia whisper softly, and nodded in response.
Lady Jin locked eyes with Rukia for a moment, assessing her once more. Despite the loneliness that clouded her gaze, there was a glimmer of determination shimmering within her unusually rare violet irises.
"In sha Allah... Maybe she can cope better than Hisana," Vaijin thought to herself, her hopes mingled with uncertainty as she pondered the challenges ahead for the young girl under her care.
Rukia found herself alone in her new room, stunned by its size, which easily surpassed that of three dormitory rooms at the academy placed side by side.
Suddenly, a knock echoed on her door, followed by an unfamiliar greeting.
"Assalamu alaykom, Rukia-sama," a group of well-dressed women said as they entered her room.
"Please, call me Rukia," she replied with a polite bow.
The older woman smiled warmly before placing a stack of new kimonos for Lady Rukia on the table, along with a few snacks for their new lady.
"Hai, Rukia," she agreed, turning to the other women and instructing them to prepare a bath for their lady.
Rukia stood speechless, unsure of what to do as she watched them attend to her needs.
The scent of fresh sakura suddenly wafted into the room as her ladies-in-waiting opened the shoji door to the balcony, revealing a breathtaking view of the grand garden filled with cherry blossoms and wildflowers. For the first time since arriving, she felt a sense of ease, allowing time to pass like a distant observer.
Before long, she was escorted to the dining room to have dinner with her adoptive brother, a looming reality that shattered her numbed, void existence.
Seated across from her was the shinigami she had once met in Rukongai, now the head of the Kuchiki clan and captain of Squad 6, her Niisama.
A heavy silence hung between them after the initial greetings. Byakuya struggled not to look directly at Rukia, while she did her best to endure the uncomfortable atmosphere.
In the end, Rukia lost her appetite, pretending to eat as she waited for her Niisama to finish so she could thank him and retire to her room.
"Rukia," she heard him call her name for the first time. The hairs on the back of her neck stood on end, and she felt a cold sweat prickle her skin.
The next morning, Ichigo and Rukia discovered that Chad was nowhere to be seen. Consequently, they ended up cutting classes to look for him all over Karakura.
"There is no information from Soul Society about nearby hollows," Rukia reported after checking her device. "In sha Allah... they can be detected upon entering the dimensions, but not when they are inside the Dangai."
Suddenly, Ichigo had an idea of sensing the soul of the parakeet instead, leaving Rukia wondering how he would do that. At her current state, she couldn't even sense the faint presence of the bird unless it was right in front of her. But at a distance like this...
"Masha Allah... Impossible," Rukia uttered in disbelief as Ichigo grasped one of the threads that appeared suddenly around them.
"That was reiraku, the ability to visualize energy. Subhanallah... only high-level shinigamis can do that," she thought as she watched him follow the thread towards the parakeet. "How was he able to develop so quickly?" she asked herself.
