Chapter 2: Secrets To Be Hidden

Reality Marbles - the result of switching the Self and the World while keeping the boundary the same. At this time, the sizes of the Self and the World are swapped, and the World is confined in a small container. This miniature world is the titular World Egg for which the theory is named. Basically, your own soul's world, your own world, and Shirou Emiya happens to have one.

During the evening in Chaldea, Shirou was walking with Arturia Saber, escorting her to her room. Both were walking peacefully at each other's side and finally, they reached Arturia's room.

Arturia turned to Shirou, "Well Shirou, this my room. I guess I'll see you tomorrow again?" She asked as she turned towards him with a small smile.

Shirou nodded his head, "Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow again, Arturia. Goodnight." He said back to her and Arturia opened her room door, but before she could enter, Shirou called to her. "Arturia."

To which, she responed while turning towards him. "Yes, Shirou? Is there something else that you need?"

Shirou walked close to her before placing his hand on her cheek, "Just this~." Shirou said in a soft yet somewhat flirty way in Arturia's ears and kissed her lips with closed eyes.

Arturia was left shock and speechless at how bold Shirou got and how the way he kissed her. After a few minutes of kissing, Shirou broke their kiss. Leaving a string of saliva on each other's lips. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow morning, my king~." Shirou said in a flirty way towards Arturia.

Arturia blushed hard at what Shirou just said and did. "G-geez. No need to be so flirty about it…" She said softly before nodding her head towards him. "Y-yeah… I'll see you tomorrow, Shirou."

Shirou nodded his head as Arturia's room door closed, leaving Shirou to his own agenda.

Shirou considered the things he hasn't yet before going straight back to his room as he checked all the things he needed to do today.

Night was becoming sooner and sooner as Shirou walked back to his room on the other side of Chaldea's wing, sunset was shining on his right side which made him look at the setting sun.

He smiled at as the sun sets at the horizon in the endless snowy mountains before continuing his walk back towards his room. "Now that I think about it; how long has it been since I've last visited them…?" Shirou muttered to his own self.

After a few minutes of walking, Shirou arrived at his room door. Opening the door and entering his room, before closing the door again.

Shirou's room looks like his old room in his old house in the Emiya Residence that Kiritsugu gave him. The only difference is that his personal kitchen was located in a different area across his pathway, along with his courtyard, and his own smithy inside his storage room.

All in all, Shirou's own room in Chaldea is extremely big, yet not so flashy or as lavish as other may think it to be.
Shirou: "*Sigh*…" He sighed as he stretched his arms before folding his Haori on his shoulders and placing it beside him, next to his futon.

As Shirou got in his futon, he closed his eyes and went to sleep, or is what it would look like to other people if they were around him. But in reality, he was going into his own soul, the deepest, darkest part of his soul.

Once Shirou was sure he was there, he opened his eyes again. Seeing nothing more than pitch black darkness everywhere he called out to someone he knew, someone he was close with years after the Fifth Fuyuki Holy Grail War.

Shirou: "Angra, I know you're there! Show yourself now!" He shouted, before red demonic eyes opened around the dark room, blue curse-like markings starting to form around in-between every space that the red demonic eyes didn't bother to form.

A figure then formed in front of him. A figure that looks identical to him except for the black hair and the black tribe-like markings around his about. Then, the figure spoke.

Angra Mainyu: "Oh man. I thought I could've at least scare you a bit there, Shirou." He said as he stepped in the floor beneath them, black cursed flowers forming at his every step as he got closer to Shirou with a friendly smirk. "You've finally decided to visit again after all these years, huh? And here I thought you've forgotten about me, I'm quite touched." He said with a cheeky voice.

Shirou chuckled at what Angra Mainyu just said before speaking, "Sorry, sorry. I just haven't gotten much time considering all the things that's been happening in Chaldea." He then shrugged his shoulders before continuing, "And I mean, can you really blame me?" He asked.

"I've gotten used to you by now. Host of All the World's Evil, remember?" Shirou asked, "This isn't really that surprising to say the least."

Angra Mainyu just laughed at what Shirou said. "Hahaha! Yeah, yeah! Should've expected it!" He said before calming down. "Still though, thanks for bearing with me even until now. Seriously though, I'm not sure whether to call you an idiot or just a complete fool with a death wish." He shrugged, "I mean, who in their right minds think of trying to be at peace with me? Let alone address their own selves to be my host?"

Shirou just let out a small laugh. "Haha… Yeah…" He said as he turned his head away from Angra Mainyu, which made him snap a bit.

Angra Mainyu: "Hey! You better not regret it now, you fool! We've gone this far and there is no way that I'm getting out of here! Not in a million years!" He shouted at Shirou with an angered voice. "And for your information; it was your own decision to become my host in the first place!" He argued, "Remember what you did back in the First Tokyo Holy Grail War in order to get your wish to become as successfully as possible?!"

Shirou turned back towards Angra Mainyu and argued back, "Hey, no need to remind me of that again! I know what I did and it turned out to be the right thing to do! If I didn't did any of that, you wouldn't have been able to live inside here in the first place!"

Both of them stared at each other for a few minutes before letting out laughs of their own.

Angra Mainyu: "So, am I to assume that you're going to be visiting the others as well?" He asked to Shirou.

Shirou: "Yeah. It's been a long time after all, I gotta at least make sure they know I'm safe and still care for them." He replied back.

Angra Mainyu: "Well if you're going to do that, say hi to Goetia for me." He said before crossing his arms and fading down into the ground of cures. "He may not say it, but he deeply cares about you. Successor of First Beast, remember?" He said before completely disappearing deep into the land of red demonic eyes and curses.

Shirou: "Yeah… I know." Shirou said before closing his eyes again and opening them a moment later.

Instead of the first place of dark and cursed land of red demonic eyes, this second one shows a fast endless land of walkable sea. The blue sky and white clouds reflecting in the water like glass, and a bright white sun shone all its light.

Turning behind him, Shirou saw a huge castle and castle walls, and no, this isn't like any normal common castle in the early medieval ages, this particular castle is Camelot or as he likes to call it "Avalon's Camelot" – The Kingdom in the ever distant land.

Shirou walked towards the castle gates, but before he could open it, another already got to him first as seven figures appear in front of him with huge smiles.

"Dad!" His older daughter shouted, "Father!" His only son shouted as well, "Papa!" his first daughter shouted as well, "Daddy!" and his youngest daughter followed in, as the three older females behind them giggled.

Shirou just smiled and said, "I'm back!" Before hugging his children. Mordred, the daughter of Morgan Pendragon was his oldest child with blonde hair and bluish teal eyes like her mother hugged him tightly. Artus Lucian Pendragon, his only son has the same colored hair as his mother Arturia Pendragon with a light tint of auburn hair color on his bangs and amber eyes he got from his father hugged him as tightly as Mordred did. Annabelle Ashton, his first daughter with the same auburn hair color as his Father with a light tint of blonde on the side of her hair she and the same green eyes she got from her mother Arturia Pendragon was hugging him gently. Emilia Barthomeloi, his youngest daughter had the same color of blonde hair and brown eyes as her mother Emily Barthomeloi with shades of auburn hair drifting bellow that she got from her father.

Arturia, well this version of her at least, looked similar to that of her Lancer Version both body and aura, her mind isn't the same as that of any of the other versions of her; her mind was loving yet strong, will unbreakable yet fragile to those she holds dear, mature but can still young. "You sure took you time, Shirou. I'm glad you're back."

"Fufufu~. I was wondering when you were going to visit again dear." Morgan Pendragon said softly with a tease. This version of Morgan was nothing like the Witch she was, sure she was still the Witch before but she soon reconciled with Arturia and became family again, literally.

"Well that just means that he truly cares about all of us, no?" Emily said as she placed a hand on her hips. (Author's note: If you've read Fate-In Time by Parcasious, you will know who Emily Barthomeloi is.)

Shirou: "Hahaha… Sorry about that, girls. Got hung up on something after all." He said nervously as he scratched the back of his head before letting go of the hug his kids gave him and kissing all three of his wives. "But I'm back, although not for long. Just a visit. Where are the knights?"

Arturia: "Oh their doing their usual training. They would've gotten here to greet you as well, but Agravain said otherwise. You know how he can be." She answered her husband.

Morgan sighed, "Seriously, I know I wasn't that much of a mother back then to any of my children, but I would've at least thought he knew how to relax a bit." She said as she complained.

Emily: "Nothing really we can do about that now, Morgan dear. We can't change the past." She concluded.

Shirou just sighed as he walked out of Avalon's Camelot's gates. "Well, that's just how they really are." He turned back to his wives and children before speaking again. "Well, I better get going. There's still a few more people that I need to visit." He said as he waved at them.

"Goodbye Dad/Father/Papa/Daddy!" His children waved and said their goodbyes.

"Try to visit more often, dear!" Arturia shouted
"Do be careful, honey!" Morgan said
"Try not to get into too much trouble, alright darling?" Emily asked

"I will!" Shirou said before closing his eyes again and opened his eyes again in another instant.

"This place hasn't really changed much, huh?" He asked to himself as he took in the scenery before him.

Luscious green grassy hills with many different colored flowers around, multiple bladed weapons are scattered and stabbed on the dirt; some are spears, some are axes, some are bladed guns, some are huge great sword, but most were swords. Multiple portals were around in the sky, acting like stars as a bright huge yellow sun shun upon the land along with a bright green aurora expanding long in one direction. Two ginormous divine swords were being held by heavenly chains, they were known as; Ig-Alima and Sul-Sagana. A tall stone tower was floating above the ground, with the Ashton Crest Mark shining and burning brightly in the middle along with a Japanese Residence sitting on the left side of said tower, along with Caliburn in the stone, shining brightly, and in the distance, a huge floating temple can be seen, far and big.

This was his Reality Marble; Unlimited Blade Works. A world full of blades, hope, determination, and unity of both Demonic and Angelic Divinity.

Shirou walked towards the Japanese Residence when he heard a loud noise of a certain phoenix.

"CAW!"

Shirou looked up, "Efret!" Shirou then raised his arm to his side and the phantasmal beast landed on his arm. "Good to see you, buddy." He said before patting the phoenix on the head and continued to walk to the Japanese Residence as the phoenix moved to rest on his shoulder.

Shirou opened the doors to his residence when he heard shouting in one of the place of the walled house, more specifically; in the courtyard. He then ran towards the courtyard and there, he found his ancestor and a god of forge fighting with words. They were known as Sengo Muramasa, the demonic blacksmith and Hephaestus, the god of forge. Both were beings he fused with.

Muramasa: "I told you that's not how I create my Muramasa Blades! You need more folds on the metal in order for a true Muramasa blade to be forged!"

Hephaestus: "Like you know any better in creating blades than me?! I'm the God of Forge, I know my ways around making weapons, you fool!"

Shirou just sighed at the scene before him as a tall lady formed from the shadows, her long black hair, eyes, and clothes made her seem like a Goth. This was Agatha, The Shadow Elemental of the Reverse Side of the World. "They've been at it for hours long, Shirou. Best for you not to bother them. Experts can be quite the perfectionists."

Shirou turned to Agatha and nodded his head in agreement. "Never really was going to do so, Agatha. Just tell them once they calmed down that I came by, alright?" He asked to his bonded Shadow Elemental.

"Leave it to me!" Agatha said to him playfully with a wink and a thumbs up.

Shirou soon left the replica of the Emiya Residence and was about to close his eyes to teleport towards the floating temple when a sudden brightness forced him to lose focus.

When he opened his eyes, he saw a tall lady with a voluptuous body, loose kimono, a pair ruby red eyes, and white hair with orange highlights going down her hair, smiling at him warmly. "It's good to see you again, Shirou." The Lady said.

Shirou nodded his head as Efret flew up in the sky again. "Yeah, it's good to see you again, Amaterasu." This lady was Amaterasu, the Goddess of the Sun, and a Goddess who bonded with him. "I was wondering when I would see you again."

Amaterasu just giggled. "Well, here I am now." She hugged him for a moment before letting go. "So, when are you going to tell the people outside of your Reality Marble about this place?" She asked Shirou.
"When the right time comes, Amaterasu, when the right time comes." Shirou responded.

Amaterasu giggled, "That's just like you, Shirou. Well, I best not hold on more of your time, Goetia can be so impatient." She said sarcastically with rolling of her eyes.

Shirou just chuckled nervously at that. "I'll see you again soon, Amaterasu. For now, this is goodbye."

Amaterasu nodded her head in agreement. "Yeah, I know. Best of luck with Goetia!" she said as she was engulfed in bright yellow and orange flames, vanishing before him.

Shirou closed his eyes and when he opened them, he was now at the floating temple in his Reality Marble. He looked behind him and saw the First Beast of Humanity sitting down on his throne.

Goetia: "So, you've finally come at last once more, my successor." He said as he opened his eyes and all the eyes of the Demon Pillars soon followed and stared at Shirou.

Shirou: "Yeah. I'm back Goetia. How have you been?" Shirou asked his predecessor.

Goetia let out a huff and stood from his throne. A second late, he was behind Shirou. "I see that you've become a servant. But what I don't understand is…" He inhaled a big air as he turned around to meet Shirou in the eyes.

Then, he let out an outburst. "WHY IS IT THAT YOU DIDN'T CHOOSE A BEAST CLASS?! ARE YOU DUMB?! A SUCCESSOR OF THE FIRST BEAST SHOULD BE A BEAST CLASS, SHIROU!"

Shirou covered his ears at the loud outburst that Goetia was doing. "Hey, what did you expect from me? Both my Origin and Element are "sword", Goetia. Isn't it only natural for me to be a Saber Class Servant? As much as you make a point, but being correct doesn't mean you're always right, y'know?" Shirou argued back.

Goetia: "BUT STILL!" He shouted and held Shirou on both his shoulders. "You are the Successor of the First Beast of Humanity, Shirou! I still couldn't understand as to why you chose Saber class!"

Shirou: "Hey, hey, calm down!" He let out a sigh as Goetia let go of him. "Look, I already told you the reason for that, it's only natural for me to be a Saber Class. But, I'll admit, I would have liked to be summoned as a Beast Class as well to honor you for making me your successor, Goetia."

Goetia let out a sigh as he teleported back to his throne. "Well, no use in arguing about it now." He said as he placed both his arms and hands on the arm stands of his throne. "Either way, it is good to see you, Shirou. I'm glad you finally visited after so long."

Shirou: "Me too, Goetia, me too." He said with a warm smile. He then stumbled on the floor a bit as he felt a fluffy animal pounce on his shoulder.

"Fou!" The white beast said.

"Ahaha… Hey there, Cath Palug." He then patted Cath Palug on the head.

Goetia: "Hm… It's strange, I'm somehow feeling Cath Palug's aura inside Chaldea whenever you walk around. Could it be possible for him to be there as well?" Goetia theorized.

Shirou looked at him with wide eyes as Cath Palug sat on his head. "Wait, really?" He asked, getting a nod from Goetia. "Well, it could be possible. From the date that I saw earlier, we are in a different timeline. So it's highly possible for another Cath Palug to be around this time." Shirou theorized as well.

Goetia nodded his head. "It could possibly be so. The Grand of Temple of time does occasionally show me other timelines with different versions of the world. If what you said is possible, then it is highly true that another Cath Palug is inside Chaldea."

"Fou! Fou! (Another version of me? How cool!)" Cath Palug exclaimed.

Shirou let out a light laugh at how Cath Palug was acting. "It seems Cath agrees as well."

Then, golden light shined beneath him. "Oh, well it's time for me to wake up. I'll see you all again soon!" At that, Cath Palug jumped out of his head and got a nod from Goetia.

Goetia: "We shall see each other again, my successor. Be safe." Shirou nodded as he completely disappeared from his Reality Marble.

Back in the real world, Shirou opened his eyes and stared at the clock.

Shirou: "Well, it was a nice reunion. But I better get into the kitchen." He said as he took his Haori and placed it onto his shoulders and opened his room door. What he didn't expect though, was that Ritsuka was in his front door. "Oh Master, is there something you need?"

Ritsuka sucked in a breath before letting it out and asked, "Shirou, would it be alright for you to train me?"

Shirou: "Huh?"
