Chapter 37 A/N I do not own Merlin. Took me forever to write this chapter, I had a surgery earlier this week and have nothing else to do, but the pain is just pretty distracting, and I don't know what to write. This chapter will definitely be one of those M chapters-at least the latter half, you don't have to read if you don't want to. So this is just a filler chapter, unlike the chapter with the Pied Piper story! No need to read it, just Morgana and Gwen gossiping with Cassie and Cassie getting filled in to what happened with Valiant. Wasn't planning on doing flashbacks in this story, but sometimes the words just get away from me. I posted four chapters today so you should go back and read them! I sometimes don't get the notifications about some chapters so...

"So, how was it?" Gwen asked as she met Cassie at the stables.

"Great. Their manor is truly spectacular, I never thought I would like a place better than the citadel. The gardens are exquisite, and the manor itself is beautiful." Cassie rambled on walking with Gwen to her chambers. When they arrived there, Cassie quickly washed up in her room while Gwen was in the main chamber, still talking about everything that happened while they were gone.

"So you're telling me some knight came with a magic shield and tried to kill Arthur, but he failed because Merlin caught him using magic and the King refused to believe his son when he told the court? And you and Merlin had a bit of a moment?!" Cassie asked as she laced up her dress and walked out to the main area.

"Pretty much, yeah."

"Tell me all about this moment between you and Merlin!" Cassie said, sitting next to her on the table.

"Okay, he was sitting on the stairwell in the courtyard sometime after the audience with the King. He looked so lost and sad, I couldn't stand to see him like that, so I went over and talked to him, and I think we had a small moment when we looked into each other's eyes, and then he got up and walked to a statue of a dog and asked me if I had a wheelbarrow. Which honestly has me so puzzled, why would he want the statue anyways. But still, I really hope he felt the same when he looked in my eyes." Gwen finished hopefully.

"I can talk to him, if you want. Find out." Cassie said conspiratorial.

"Don't you dare! I know that look, Cassie." Gwen warned with a lifted finger.

"Okay, okay!" Cassie chuckled.

"I should get back to work. You should see Morgana. She's dying to talk to you." Gwen said with a smile as she turned around and walked out the door.

Cassie quickly finished up what she was doing and made her way through the castle to Morgana's chambers.

"Hey, 'Gana! How was the tournament?" Cassie asked with a knowing look.

"Very entertaining, fraught with dangerous knights and a golden prince." Morgana replied dryly.

"Well, my week wasn't very exciting then." Cassie replied somewhat loftily.

"Also, I think you were right, about me and Arthur."

"Which time?" she asked cheekily.

"The man makes me so furious! One second it's like we're friends ,the next I want to rip his throat out, I honestly don't know what to think!" Morgana fumed.

"Aw! That's so sweet!" Cassie cooed. "So do you want to rip his throat out as his sister, or as his girl?"

"I will never be anyone's 'girl,' Cassie, and you know that!" Morgana warned with a raised finger.

"Sister, then" Cassie declared with a nod, forcing back her laughter.

"So, why are you in such a good mood? You and Owaine finally…" Morgana trailed off, a vexing glint in her eye.

"Probably the same nothing that happened for you this weekend." Cassie replied glibly. "So, Gwen's told me about some of what happened rather quickly, now I need to hear the rest of it." Cassie said, hungry for gossip.

"Okay, fine, but I'm warning you, you are in for a rant longer than any of my previous ones." Morgana told her, shaking her head and sitting down gracefully on the settee.

"I'm ready, so long as you're ready for my stories!" Cassie said, sitting across from her in the rocking chair.

"Okay, you asked for it." Morgana said and started on her story for the next few hours.

"I don't understand how Merlin knew. From what both you and Gwen told me, I would think he would stay away from him. Instead he sneaks into Valiant's chambers alone. That's rather brave of him."

"Brave of him? Foolish. If he had been caught, he would have been thrown in the dungeons at best." Morgana said.

"Still, I wouldn't have gone near him."

"Now, it's your turn to tell the stories. What happened over there?!"

"Uh, uh. I still have questions." Cassie stated, shaking her head.

"Fine, you get one." Morgana conceded.

"So, you and Arthur, do you think he feels the same?"

"I hope so. If he expects me to eventually marry him, he's got a different thing coming." Morgana joked. "Next question."

"Why do you think Uther hates magic so much?" Cassie asked solemnly in a quiet voice.

"I don't know." Morgana answered in a small voice. "Maybe he thinks it is a threat to his control. He doesn't wield it, so he hates others who do."

"I can't fathom a hate so great that a father would ignore what his only son is saying." Cassie said sadly.

"So, your turn now. Tell. Me. Everything." Morgana said after a slight pause.

"There's really not much to tell. I met my in-laws and came back." Cassie said offhandedly.

"You're evil! I want details." Morgana cried.

"There was this one thing with me and Owaine two days ago..." Cassie started getting a dreamy look.

"Ooh!" Morgana exclaimed, ignoring propriety and tucking her legs under her.

"We had just finished having dinner and he was walking me to the guest chambers at night…" Cassie said, getting into her story.

"Owaine! Not here!" Cassie giggled as he playfully kissed her in the hallway.

"If not here then where? Perhaps in your chambers?" Owaine mockingly suggested, knowing exactly what her response would be. A glare.

"Owaine!" she cried scandalized.

"Cassie!" he replied playfully, twirling her as they walked down the hallway.

"Owaine, stop it." she giggled as they rounded the corner and reached her door.

"I bid you goodnight, my Lady." he said, bowing low and kissing her hand.

"My Knight." Cassie said, curtsying and opening the door behind her while staying at the doorway, looking up at him with loving eyes.

Owaine placed his hands on either side of the doorway and leaned down to place a gentle kiss on her lips, a kiss she deepened.

"Oi, Get a room!" Mor called as he and Alys strolled past on their way to their chambers, making Cassie step into her room and close the door as Owaine had looked up at his brother.

"Wh-"Owaine started to say when he noticed the closed door. "Gee! Thanks Mor!" he called out to his brother around the corner. He turned to leave, not noticing the door open quietly, and walked a few steps away before he couldn't move away any more..

"Why can't I keep going?" he asked himself confused before turning his head and looking into the golden eyes of his betrothed.

"You cheeky little!" he declared turning around and walking into her room with a grin on both their faces. Cassie quietly closed the door behind him and wrapped her arms around his muscular frame.

"You know, I think I might have tied the laces too strong again." she said softly, repeating what she'd said a week earlier.

"Let me help you with that, love." Owaine replied, snaking his arms around her waist and kissing her deeply.

His fingers trailed over the laces, quickly pulling them loose thinking 'these weren't tied too tight.' When they fell at her side he slowly trailed his hands up to the shoulders, not once separated from the intense kiss, and hooks his fingers into the sleeves.

Cassie moaned into the kiss, using one hand to pull him even closer to her while she dropped the other hand to his waist. At the same time that Owaine slowly moved the fabric off her shoulders, Cassie ran her hands under his shirt, lightly scratching at his chest as her fingers traced it up and down. Owaine let go of the dress and lifted his shirt over his head, discarding it at the foot of the bed. Cassie took the opportunity to let the rest of the silky material fall to her ankles and relished in his hungry gaze.

She had secretly bought a lacy pale pink shift that barely covered her breasts and stopped near her upper thigh, hugging her every curve. She made a mental note to thank Morgana for her suggestions and for introducing her to Lady Gordon.

"I don't know when you got this, but you look ravishing, darling!" Owaine said huskily, his eyes trailing up slowly over her body.

"That was the plan, Owaine." Cassie answered dulcetly, already stepping closer to him and leaning up for another kiss.

This kiss, however, was lustful, hungry. The second their lips met it was a battle of dominance, of who could explore more. The tension in the air was palpable, suffocating even, as the two slowly made their way to the bed. Cassie fell back onto the bed first, once the back of her knees hit it, taking Owaine down with her, neither relinquishing the power they had over the other. Tongues fought for dominance, Owaine gaining the upper hand as Cassie was distracted by the hardening in his pants. She wrapped her legs around his waist and used her heels to push him closer to her, feeling the heat through the fabric of his trousers, making them both moan loudly into each other.

"Cassie, are you sure?" Owaine asked breathlessly, knowing full well what it meant to her to wait until marriage. He kept his gaze locked onto hers, awaiting her response.

"Yes." She replied, just as breathless. "No. I don't know. All I know is that I don't want to stop this."

She reached around his neck and brought him back down for a kiss, biting his lower lip, tugging it between her teeth. Owaine relented and kissed her once again, his hands roaming her body in ways they hadn't before. His lips leave hers only to latch onto the skin just beneath her jaw, eliciting another moan. He sucked on the spot hard, eyes never leaving her face, hands roaming her body endlessly. He could taste the springtime on her skin, all those days walking through the flowerbeds, laying in the grass, by the trees, reading by the pond. It all had impregnated her skin with their heady scent; the fruity roses near the columns, the sweet violets and impatiens around the benches, the citrusy begonias and citrus blossoms near the pond all meshed together perfectly.

"Owaine, I'm not a succulent! You can't suck all the water out my skin." Cassie said through moans.

"No, but I can sure as hell try," he mumbled back. "You taste so good." he said, licking down her neck to her clavicle eliciting another moan, telling him that was another place to focus on for a while.

"Owaine! You're such a tease," Cassie breathed out, hating the way his hands barely roamed over where she wanted him to the most. She took matters into her own hands, flipping him over on the bed and doing to him, exactly what he had been doing to her. Kissing him fervently, she traced the scars on his arms, his chest, dragging her nails over them. She did so tantalizingly slowly, tracing up, and down. Skirting closer and closer to the bulge in his trousers, but never close enough. Coming up for breath, she moved to his neck, using her tongue to make her way closer to his ear and nibbling on his lobe before kissing the same spot he had been minutes earlier.

"For something I don't think you've ever done before you're rather good at it." Owaine chuckled out.

"I learned from the best" she responded conspiratorially. "The best at teasing that is." she said, going back to her ministrations at his neck, still not roaming her hands where he obviously wants them. She finished leaving the love bite just under his jawline and moved onto his chest, making her way down his torso until she was a hairsbreadth from his manhood. But she refused, just as he hadn't for her, she wouldn't for him. And Owaine quickly realized because he groaned looking at her devilish eyes.

"You will be the death of me, woman!" Owaine said, bringing her up towards him to kiss.

"And you, sh-" Cassie began breathing hard, but Owaine interrupted her with a deep kiss as he flipped her over on the bed and began his assault on her chest. She knew she would not be able to wear anything with cleavage tomorrow because of this, but she didn't care. He was finally getting someplace! His lips traveled all over, sucking and biting tenderly, making her moan into her pillow and realize the slip was only getting in the way. Her hands left Owaine's head to pull the straps of the slip down her arms and she arched her back allowing the silky fabric to rest at her hips.

When he finally reached her breasts, he took his time exploring with his hands, his teeth, his tongue every inch of them. He moulded and licked and bit and sucked everywhere but her nipples. He did so until she just couldn't take it anymore and practically yanked his head towards them. And the moment she felt his mouth envelop her nipple, she felt like stars were dancing in her room, she could focus on nothing other than the feeling of him sucking on her breast, and moulding the other one with his hand. She clasped her hand over her mouth, not trusting that she wouldn't scream out in pleasure at any second, and stifled the constant moans. She felt her stomach contract, her back arch and the fire that is ever present whenever they are near each other begin to bubble over and vaguely thought that she was nearing her climax.

Owaine thought so too, because he stopped sucking her nipple and trailed kisses down her abdomen, much to her frustration. She lay there panting and with enough control over her magic to cast a silencing spell on her chambers.

"Forswige" she shivered breathlessly, her eyes glowing golden for a fraction of a second before returning to their normal light blue.

"What was that for?" Owaine asked curiously, his hands hovering above her knees.

"Silencing spell, no one can hear us anymore." Cassi replied breathlessly, not seeing Owaine's grin at her answer.

He laid his hands on her knees and parted them gently, placing kisses all down her right thigh before kissing up her left thigh. By this point, Cassie is trembling in anticipation and Owaine has only one objective: giving her her first womanly pleasure, and making it something she wouldn't forget. He looked at her one last time, making sure she was okay with everything and then kissed her right between the legs. Cassie let out a gasp of pleasure and threw her head back onto her pillow, reaching down with her arms to hold his head in place, but when his tongue began to circle and tease her she let go of his head and grabbed the sheets. Within seconds, she could feel the fire bubbling up, getting so close, and then he stopped making her want to cry at the inability to go over the edge because he wouldn't let her.

"Owaine!" she whined, looking up at the canopy of her bed before he began again, this time with his fingers. They teased and moved up and down and in circles bringing her ever closer to the zenith before he abruptly stopped once more.

"Owaine! Stop with the teasing already. Please!" she begged out of breath.

He slowly pushed his finger inside her, not wanting to hurt her and when he felt like she got accustomed to it, he introduced another finger. And another all the while using his thumb to rub at her. He pumps his fingers in and out of her rhythmically, relishing in the moans and pants issuing from his future wife.

The second she felt his finger inside her was amazing; she could no longer keep her eyes closed or her back straight and let out an excited gasp as she arched her back up off the bed. When he put two more it was pure bliss, she didn't think it could feel any better but then he started moving them in and out quickly and it was all she could do not to scream out. The fire was scalding, rising quickly and begging to be let out, but once again, he stopped at exactly the wrong time.

"Owaine! Would you just quit it and let me-" Cassie whispered between breaths, stopping when she felt his tongue once more licking and teasing every last inch of her, his fingers still pumping. It took mereley seconds for the raging fire to bubble-over, giving her the most body-melting, bone-crushing orgasm ever. She could barely see through the dark haze that was covering her eyes as she flopped onto her back and lay there, feeling wave after wave of pleasure rolling through her body. Owaine climbed up next to her and held her against him as she came down from her high, kissing her tenderly over and over again on her shoulder.

"I never would have thought it would be so great!" Cassie laughed, exhausted. She reached back and began working the laces of his trousers.

"What are you doing?" Owaine asked against her ear.

"I don't actually know." Cassie admitted sheepishly, "I'm letting my instincts take over."

"You have wonderful instincts" he whispered, chuckling and turning her over to face him. "But you don't have to do anything you don't want to, my love."

"Except I do." Cassie whispered back, looking him in the eye as she figured out what exactly to do. She stroked his manhood from base to tip slowly, not entirely sure how hard to wrap her hand around it.

"A-am I doing it okay?" she asked shyly, self-conscious of her inexperience.

"Perfectly," Owaine said, kissing her lips softly as he adjusted her grip some.

She continued stroking slowly until she built up some of her confidence and started going faster. She bit her lower lip as she looked into his eyes, hoping that she was giving him the same pleasure he had given her. She worked her hand up and down his shaft in a quick manner, then slowed down for a bit before resuming her velocity. It didn't take too much longer for Owaine to close his eyes and let go of his ejaculation. Not knowing exactly what to do, Cassie just kept on pumping until the last of the white fluid came out.

"Cassie," Owaine started, looking deep into her eyes and losing his train of thought.

"Owaine? Did I hurt you? Did I do something wrong" Cassie asked, panicking.

"No. Nothing of that sort, lambkin. You were perfect. But I'm afraid we've made quite a mess of the sheets and yourself." Owaine said, looking down between them where she was covered in his seminal fluid.

"Oh." Cassie said, blushing deeply.

"I can send for water from the servants." Owaine offered.

"Don't bother. It's past three in the morning, they're all asleep by now. The tub is still here, I can fill it up."

"You don't even know where the water pump is."

"Who needs a water pump." Cassie asked from over her shoulder as she sashayed to the tub. She held her arm out over the tub and whispered "Wæter."

"I will never get over how cool magic is." Owaine whispered in wonder as he walked over to her.

"It is pretty cool, but also dangerous. Most people don't use it for evil, but those that do, like the witch that tried to kill Arthur, get corrupted. They use Dark Magic, I would never touch it, I was warned too heavily not to want to even consider touching it, but Dark Magic does exist. If only the King saw that, and changed his damn laws on magic so that it only persecutes those who use Dark Magic. It's a shame this tub isn't big enough for the both of us." Cassie said seductively.

"I'm quite comfortable from up here. I have the better view." Owaine joked, moving on. "What do I do with all the flasks, do I pour them all in?" he asked, utterly confused at all the flasks laid out.

"No." Cassie giggled. "Just pour a small amount of that one in." Cassie said, pointing to the one farthest from her. She reached out her hand over the tub and whispered "gebeðe"

They spent a good half hour talking to each other; Cassie from the tub and Owaine from behind her using a washcloth and rubbing her back

At some point while Cassie told Morgana of her night with Owaine, Gwen had walked in and was listening intently. The clean laundry lay forgotten by the wardrobe.

"That's so romantic!" the two girls squealed at the same time.

"I admit I should have left out some of the more sordid details, but I just got so caught up in the memory that I forgot!" Cassie giggled.

"No! That was just the right amount of sordidness. You should have heard when Gwen told me about her first time!"

"Morgana!" Gwen said with a pointed look.

"Guinevere, I am offended my green-eyed friend. You said you've never been with a man."

"No, I said I've never been with a man I loved."

"You will tell me all about it! All the intimacies. I'm afraid I won't let you leave until you do." Cassie said, putting on an air of haughtiness that made her companions laugh.

"Okay, okay. I'll tell you. But it wasn't exactly my best moment. I mean, we were drunk and in an empty guest room so…"

"I just want to know if making love feels as good as what I felt the other night did. Go on, tell the story!"

Post chapter A/N I took forever writing this, it probably sucks. And it's the first time I write something like this. I don't know if I wrote it correctly, I didn't exactly write from experience and the words might have gotten lost when I transcribed from imagination to paper so….Tell me where I can do better, tell me if you liked it-or not- I might take a bit of a break in this fic until the new year. There's this idea for a Harry Potter fic that I want to write that is taking space in my brain from this fic. But then again I might not. I don't really know, I just seem to have Harry potter on my mind for now. Sorry guys!
