The Soulbond

Chapter 15

The night after Zenki regained his true form, near dawn...

"Oi, Chiaki, are you up for a last round of mating?"

"I don't think so, I'd like to but I feel tired and sore. I simply don't have your stamina. How about we try mating in astral form? We'll feel the pleasure without the aches of the body... It's worth a try!"

"OK then, we'll try it!"

The two of them started caressing each other for a bit until they manifested their astral bodies, enjoying the sensations of their souls touching, slowly reaching a full mating, pleasure growing towards their climax, and then...

The two of them found themselves in a cocoon of red light just after their climax, which coalesced into the soulbond they had all but forgotten, something like a knot in their bellybuttons from where the bond connected the two of them. They tried to touch the bond, but it was intangible, unlike before.

"What do we do, Chiaki? this has been a complete surprise for me!"

"Believe me, I feel the same! I guess we should ignore it for the moment unless it bothers us and we ask Gokimaru-kun if he has any guess about it."

"OK, Chiaki, do you want to sleep in my arms the rest of the night?"

"Of course, Zenki, I love feeling protected by you!"

The next morning...

"Zenki, Chiaki-sama, you need to get up and have a shower before breakfast, I'll put the bedding in the washing machine! Let's make what you did tonight a little less obvious!"

"OK, Gokimaru-kun, we had a very good time!" "Thanks for the hints you gave Zenki, they were very useful last night!"

"I'm glad everything worked well for both of you... any problems at all?

"No, just that the bond did something strange, just about when we were finishing mating we were surrounded by a cocoon of red light that coalesced into something like knots on our respective abdomens connected by the bond, and then it went intangible!"

After breakfast... and a good deal of tea to finish waking up.

"We'll try to find more possession seeds today, and search for any clues on who our new enemy is. Let's link our minds and feel where the seeds are!"

A few minutes after...

"Oi, Gokimaru, I sense something at the limit of my range of perception, but I can't pinpoint where it is exactly, but I think it is in the town!"

"I feel several of possible seeds, all in the town, but I can't pinpont the locations either, Zenki!"

"Well, Zenki, Gokimaru-kun, let's get ready, warn baachan, and go to town, we may sense the seeds when we are nearer to them!"

Along the path to Shikigami-chou, Zenki, Chiaki and Gokimaru were trying to sense the possesion seeds, and chatting a bit.

"I don't sense any seeds yet, Gokimaru-kun, do you sense or smell any, Zenki?"

"I don't sense any seeds in the path, I think all the seeds must be in the town!"

"I agree with Zenki, Chiaki-sama, our enemy puts the seeds in places where they're easy to get to, at least it seems so, given how easy was finding the first seeds!"

"Well, at least it will be more difficult for a seed to possess me when we find it, I have fulfilled my greatests desires now, and I'm very happy to have Chiaki as my mate!"

"I'm also very happy to be your mate, Zenki, just be careful and don't get hurt because of overconfidence!"

"I'll try, Chiaki, but Gokimaru and I want to protect you, even when we aren't in our kishin form, and not just because you're our Master, but because we love you!"

"True, Zenki, Chiaki-sama is our family, she's your mate, and my adopted sister!"

"Thank you, guys, I love you too!"

At Shikigami-chou, after a couple of hours of wandering around the town...

"Damn it, I can't sense anything resembling a seed here, there's too much psychic noise with all the ambitions and desires of the town's people!"

"I can't either, Zenki, Chiaki-sama, what do you want us to do?"

"Let's keep wandering for a while, if we don't find anything in an hour, let's go eat something!"

After an hour of infructous searching...

"No luck with the search, I see... Where do you want to go eat something?"

"Ne, Chiaki, how about we go to that pizza place we went the other day with your friends, the food was very good!"

"I also think it's a good place to eat, Chiaki-sama!"

The three of them went to the pizza restaurant they had gone with Chiaki's friends, but they stayed vigilant, just in case something happened, like Chiaki's failed kidnapping or a possession beast appeared.

At the pizza place, they got the same kind of pizza as last time, a giant size meat pizza with barbecue sauce, and except a slice each for Gokimaru and Chiaki, all went into Zenki's stomach.

"Oishii! That was very good, like the other day!"

"Ne, Zenki, Gokimaru-kun, what do you think we should do, keep searching, or go back home and wait until a possession beast appears?"

"Let's search a bit more, if we don't find anything in two more hours, let's go back to the shrine, Chiaki-sama, Zenki!"

"OK, Gokimaru-kun!"

"Gokimaru, you're getting to be quite a bit bossy lately, you know?"

In that remote underground location where Shishaou and his spirit minions were...

"So, Kurogarasu, you have news?"

The giant bird projected the images he saw of the enconter between Dokubari, Zenki, Chiaki, and Goki, including the transfofmation from human to kishin form.

"Amon, Dokuro-sou, are these the kishin that obey the descendant of Enno Ozunu?"

.:Yes, Shishaou-sama, they look different, and we don't remember they having a human form, but they are Zenki and Goki!"

"Let's test them a bit more, if nothing else, it will be amusing to give them trouble while we wait for the new moon!"

Author's notes:

死者王 : Original main antagonist of this story, a necromancer of great power, and an enourmous hatred of Enno Ozunu. His name means "King of the Dead"

鴉紋: Amon, one of Zenki's first enemies after he was unsealed, an evil sorcerer.

黒鴉: Kurogarasu, Shishaou's familiar an enormous black raven.

ドクロ僧: Dokuro-sou, an old enemy, subordinate of Inugami.
