It All Ends Here

As you guys know, the end of the story is drawing even nearer. And if you are wondering what could possibly be happening in the past few chapters, I'd rather not spoil it in the authors notes as I want you to really understand how the story builds to this point. And without further ado! Let's get ready for the main event…shall we?

"LILA?! LILA!" RDJ ran at full speed into the front entrance of the asylum, only to be met by an empty security desk. With nothing but half a cup of coffee and half a chocolate donut. "Half a coffee? Half a donut? Something terrible must have happened here!" RDJ's fears only intensified.

He ran up to the desk and checked behind it, but was still standing there with his head down in fear of what may or may not have happened to the woman he loves.

"Where is she?!" The blue eyed man grasped onto Jewel's shoulders. Not in a controlling or aggressive way. More of a gentle yet serious manner. "You said she was here!"

"She was! I…I don't know where she is!" Jewel stuttered nervously, which is something she doesn't normally do. But under the current circumstances, it was understandable that he would be panicking in such ways.

"Dude! Check the footage!" Nathaniel told his fellow security guard, as he n up to the monitors.

However, once he clicked to check the pre ious camera footage…all of the cameras came up as offline.

"What the? That's not supposed to happen?!" Blu cut in front of everyone and attempted to use some kind of code to try and get the cameras back online. But there was no use at all. "Cheese and sprinkles! This is not good!"

"Okay, first of all. What in the living shit are cheese and sprinkles? Secondly, what the hell are we supposed to do now?" Skyler was given a blanket by Nathaniel that he found in the supply closet next to the front desk. Wrapping it around her as she was now covered in a big fluffy warm blanket.

"First, it's a Minnesota thing! Secondly, we gotta find where Lila went!"

"GUYS! GUYS!"

Everyone suddenly shot their heads over to the entrance of the asylum. Once their gazed into the doorway, they saw that Pedro and Sofia were coming through with Lexi. Holding a file that contained some vital information.

"Guys! Are you guys okay?!" Jewel asked the duo cardinals, who both quickly shook their heads as a no.

"No we are not okay! We heard Nico and Lillian banging on the inside of the kayak shack in the garden! They need to be let out. Also, we saw some guy escorting Lila off into the woods." Pedro responded in a panic.

"WHAT?! WHY DID YOU NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO STOP THEM?!" RDJ yelled so loud at his friend, that it even took Blu and Jewel by surprise.

"He had a GUN RDJ! What do you want us to do?!" Sofia sassily responded, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms in frustration.

"Ughhhh! Never mind! I'm going to get Lila back! Nath! Sky! Both of you go to the shack and let Nico and Lillian out." He demanded them, as they both nodded their heads and took the shack key from Jewel. Right before running towards the back exit. "Blu, Jewel. I need both of you to wait here for the cops!"

"What about us? What do we do?" Pedro pondered in curiosity.

"Lexi, I need you to head to the storage room and grab all of the lubricant and moisturiser you can!"

"What? Why?" The scarlet girl was really confided with her job.

"Just…trust me okay?!" RDJ adamantly told her, who of course had no choice but to agree with him and do that task that was given to her. "Good! Now, Pedro and Sofia. I need you two to do something really risky."

"Meh, I bet it's not as risky as the time I shoved a frozen courgette up my ass." Sofia remarked with a laugh.

When the others gave her weird glances, Pedro was secretly trying not to get an erection with that thought in his mind.

"What the…Whatever! Just, when I give you the signal. You will do what I ask you to do okay?"

"Agreed!" Both cardinals looked at each other and nodded.

"Perfect!" RDJ took a deep breath and stepped towards the entrance of the asylum. Pulling out his radio and holding down the talk button.

RDJ: You took something that belongs to me! I want her back Rodrigo!

Rodrigo: Well it's about time you called me. Jeez, I'm getting pretty bored of these games.

(Lila: HEEEELLLP! RDJ! HELLLP MEEEEE!)

RDJ: You touch her, and I swear to god I'll end you!

Rodrigo: Now now RDJ! Maybe we can possibly come to some…kind of agreement?

RDJ glanced at his friends for a brief moment, then he returned to looking outside the asylum.

RDJ: What do you want?

Rodrigo: I bugged the front desk of the asylum RDJ. I heard about your little plan! If you decide to go through with it, I will shoot your beloved! In the stomach…

The blue and gold man's heart sank into his chest, and the hairs stood up on the back of his neck in terror. He knew that he had to do whatever Rodrigo says, in order to protect the girl he loves.

"Guys! The plan is off! Abort the plan!" RDJ shouted back to his friends, who all stood there weirdly looking at each other.

RDJ: What do you need me to do?

Rodrigo: You come alone. I want you to bring me the file that Lexi found in the archives. I will exchange the file for your girlfriend's life!

RDJ: Fine! But, I also want you to give Lexi's son back!

Rodrigo: Hmmmm, no can do amigo! You see, you took away my right hand man! Blowing him up like a balloon before he exploded like a bomb! So I don't feel like giving you anything. Considering that my original offer is a generous one.

RDJ: Come on you sick bastard! He is just a kid!

Rodrigo: Hmmmm…

As for a brief moment, there was a pause on the other radio. Indicating that the parakeet man was thinking about what he was saying.

Jewel came outside and stood besides him, along with Blu, Sofia, Pedro and Lexi all stood behind him.

Rodrigo: Okay RDJ I will let the kid go. But only if in exchange, you give me someone in return.

RDJ: Who might that be?

Rodrigo: Well, I have to make sure that you aren't going to screw me over! So the deal is you give yourself to me! To be Felipe's replacement. Then I'll let the kid go!

RDJ: No. I'm not a rapist! And I'm not a murderer! I don't impregnate women and make them suff…

BANG!

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" You could hear the screams of Lila from the back garden. And this very scream sent chills running up and down his spine.

RDJ: WHAT DID YOU JUST FUCKING…

Rodrigo: Oh relax RD-Gay! I shot her in the thigh! Just below the arteries. Two centimetres away from causing serious damage! And unless you want to be mourning your beloved, you will do what I fucking ask! If you don't?! I will shoot her in the fucking head between her eyes!

RDJ: ALRIGHT! Alright…I'll give you the file…And I'll give myself to you…

"What?! No! You can't!" Blu defended his best friend and grabbed him by the arm.

"What other choice do I have Blu?! If I don't give myself to him, he will kill the woman who I love!"

"And if you give yourself to him, you'll be raping and murdering over thousands of women!" Jewel responded with tears coming down from her eyes.

Rodrigo: What's it gonna be RDJ?

"Dude…Don't! There has to be another way!" Sofia remarked in a fearful manner.

The blue and gold macaw man glanced Oder at his friends for a few moments. Seeing how they were all standing there smiling at him.

But as he was looking out into this small crowd. The only person that came into his mind, was the woman he fell deeply in love with. So in this moment, he knew what his answer was going to be.

Even though it may not be the best answer in the world. He would do anything to protect Lila.

RDJ: Fine! Tell me where to meet you…

Rodrigo: I knew that you were a smart man! Meet me on the other side of the lake in ten minutes! I will give you the girl, the kid will be there. And you will give me the file and yourself! Then we can be on our way…

RDJ: Whatever! Just don't hurt either Lila or the child!

Rodrigo: Agreed! Now time is ticking RDJ. You don't want to be late for the meeting.

After that, the conversation ended and RDJ grabbed the file from Lexi's hands. "Guys, you heard what he said. There is to be no plan. I'm gonna go and get my girlfriend and the kid back."

"But…" No matter what Blu could say to him, he had already made his mind up. So much so that he gave his close friend a hug and patted him on the beck, before departing from the hug and smiled at him.

"No Blu, don't! I started this mess when I killed Felipe. Now I have to finish what I started!" RDJ determined to make things right.

So much so that he spun around and walked straight into the gardens of the institution. Leaving everybody else alone to take in what he was doing.

"I don't like this! We need to make sure that he doesn't go with him!" Jewel cried into her husband's chest. As he wrapped his arms around her lovingly, and kissed her on the top of her head.

"Listen? We are not going to let RDJ get away with doing this. That is why…Hey? Where's my tranquilliser gun?" Blu for a second checked his belt, and realised that his tranquility's we gun and darts were not there in his pocket anymore. But once he looked over to where RDJ was walking. That was when he realising where it was. "RDJ…you cheeky devil…"

Heading back over to RDJ, he in fact did have the tranquilliser dart gun on his security belt. Which meant that he had no intentions of ever going with that man. But of course, his main priority was to save Lexi's son and Lila from any kind of danger.

Walking back behind the trees around the back of the lake. He came to a small clearing that was hidden away from plain view of the others at the mental institution.

Upon arrival, Rodrigo was stood there with a limping inured Lila. That appeared to have a belt tied around the top of her thigh to stop the bleeding.

RDJ stood on the spot several feet away from the parakeet man, who was standing there with the gun pointing at Lila's head. As she stood there wincing in agony, with tears running down her cheeks.

The male blue and gold macaw stood there strong. He had already fulfilled his promise by venturing into the clearing by himself.

Clutching the highly confidential file that Lexi had taken from the patient archives tightly in his hand.

The wrought of this incredibly big responsibility that he carried was was extremely evident in his stride, as he navigated himself through the dense foliage. With his kind of course on the task at hand.

The gravity of the situation was not lost on him, knowing the potential consequences of failure.

For him…failure was not an option!

Even upon reaching the designated spot, RDJ was met with a chilling sight that sent many shivers down his spine.

Rodrigo, a notorious criminal, stood menacingly across from him. Brandishing a firearm that was aimed directly at Lila's head. His most loved and cherished companion.

The fear in Lila's bright purple eyes was palpable, her body was frozen in place due to sheer terror.

Fully aware of the imminent danger that she was currently in.

"Ahhh shit…He better let her go!" RDJ's heart raced, as he added the dire circumstances unfolding before him. All of his instincts were telling him to act swiftly to protect the woman he loved.

The tension between them only increased within the clearing was further heightened by the fact that Lila was already grappling with a painful wound on her thigh.

Adding Anne tea layer of urgency to the already precarious situation.

His mind was racing with thoughts of how to navigate this perilous predicament. Weighing his options carefully in his kind to try and devise a clever and cunning plan to save everyone in danger.

One thing was definitely for certain…he luckily had a plan B in case things went wrong!

"You got the file?" Rodrigo took the safety off of the gun and aimed it at Lila's stomach.

"Right here." He angrily responded, holding the blue file up in his hand.

"Good. Toss it over here!" He demanded, narrowing his eyes at him. "Do not make me ask a second time!"

"First, give me the girl!" He demanded in return, putting his hand behind his back nonchalantly like he had nothing to hide.

"Ughhh…Go on! Before I change my mind!" With one light push, he allowed Lilia to stumble away from him. Hobbling straight into the arms of her beloved. Who immediately burst into tears whilst hugging him closely.

"Hey now. It's okay. You're safe now my love!" RDJ reassured his beloved, rubbing her lower back with his hand and gazed deeply into her bright purple eyes.

"I was so scared honey! I thought he was going to…Ahhhhhh…" Lila was about to finish her sentence. But she felt a jolt of pain hit her thigh and she needed to save her energy so it wouldn't hurt for longer.

"Go to Blu and get checked up. I'm gonna deal with him…" He whispered in her ear lovingly.

"No…RDJ! You don't understand! Rodrigo'a accomplice is…"

"Right behind you!"

Suddenly, a man in a hood turned up on the scene. Holding a child up in his arms, with a gun pointing to the child's head.

"Ahhh shit…" RDJ cursed as he darted his head back and forth between the two of them, keeping his inured girlfriend closely behind him for her own protection.

"I just wanted to make sure that you fulfil your end of the bargain!" Rodrigo cackled in a sadistic tone, pointing his finger towards a black SUV. "Right there is my escape route. Now, all I gotta do is take the file and the girl! As well as take the brat too!"

"We had a deal Rodrigo!" RDJ grumbled and out a hand on the handle of the tranquilliser dart gun.

"Well I'm changing the terms and conditions kid!" The parakeet chuckled and aimed his gun at RDJ's foot.

BANG!

"AHHHHHH FUCKKKKK!" RDJ dropped to the floor clutching his foot in agony, as the bullet actually traveled straight through his foot.

"RDJ!" Lila cried out in horror, right as she was grabbed roughly on the arm by the hooded man. "HEY! LET GO OF ME!"

"Oooooh! I'm gonna enjoy raping and impregnating you! Imagine how much money I could get from a kid that's half blue macaw, half scarlet macaw." The scarlet man responded with a chuckle.

"WAIT?! M-MALCOM?!" RDJ clearly recognised the voice of the hooded stranger. And once the man had finally been exposed. He pulled the hood down from his head, revealing to be none other than Officer Malcom.

"Hello RDJ. Like the new riot shield? What am I saying? Of course not! You weren't smart enough to actually use it!"

"Why?! Why are you siding with him?!" The blue and gold man grunted in agony, whilst he shuffled into a comfortable position.

"Because we had a little agreement you see? He works for me and we continue my business for as long as possible!" Rodrigo remarked with a grin.

"Why though? Why are you throwing a decent life away for this scumbag?!"

"After I lost my job a couple of weeks ago. I needed a change! Rodrigo offered me over half a million dollars just to work with him! I get to have all the sex I want. I get free accommodation. And I don't have to pay tax! I should have got into this game a long time ago!" He explained with a sadistic grin on his beak. "And to top it all off, nobody will ever suspect that I am the one doing this. Because I used to be a police officer!"

"You were the one who approved the plans to send prisoners to the asylum!" Lila angrily grumbled, struggling to break free from his grip.

"Indeed I did!"

"And you were the one who let Polly out of her room to cause havoc!" RDJ pointed out, as he lifted up his arm a little bit.

"You are right again!"

"You also fired the crossbow that nearly killed Sofia!"

"Yeah and I gotta tell ya, that bitch was fast! Man, I shouldn't have quit marksman training so early on in my career!" Malcom chuckled like a maniac.

"Hey! This is all well and good but, we need to get moving!" Rodrigo had enough of the conversation and he put his gun away in his pocket. "See you later RDJ! Don't even bother trying to follow us. Because I'll simply just kill her, then the kid, and then you!"

As the parakeet and scarlet macaw began dragging both of the child and petrified blue female away from the clearing. RDJ began to chuckle in a light manner.

"Ha…Hahaha…Hahahahaha!" His chuckling to start with was very mild and very quiet. But after a few more seconds, he managed to gain the attention of the dangerous criminal.

"What the fuck are you laughing at?! Has the blood gone to your head or something?" Rodrigo turned his head around first, meaning that he had his back turned to Lila.

"You, you fucking moron!" He smiled in a cocky manner, which really confused him. "Haha! God…I wish stalling was always this easy!"

"Stalling?" The parakeet man rose his eyebrow in curiosity.

"WHAT THE?!" Malcom suddenly felt a sharp pain in his lower back area. Then when he looked down towards his butt, he saw that a tranquilliser dart had been fired at him. "Aaaaaand, I'm going down…"

THUD!

The scarlet man dropped the child after he collapsed on the ground unconscious after being shot by RDJ. Who managed to shoot him with the tranquilliser.

Lila grabbed hold of the young scarlet macaw boy and began limping away behind the trees. Running as fast as she possibly could to get away from the psychopath parakeet.

"RUN LILA! RUN!" RDJ yelled towards his girlfriend, as she disappeared from sight. Leaving him alone on the ground as he was holding onto his bleeding foot wound.

"Ughhhhh…" Rodrigo didn't even bother to chase them down, because he held like that would be the worst thing for him to do right now. Especially since he had a clear opportunity to make a clean getaway. However…he was going back and forth in his mind to decide what he was going to do next. "Well…This wasn't exactly how I planned on doing this."

"Ahhhhh…Yes! Your plans have been foiled Rodrigo! Now, you better get ready to be taken away. Because after you killed two guards, abducted a young child, blackmailed the mother, and attempted to murder me with an illegal firearm. Well, you could be facing life in prison! Ahhhh!" RDJ grabbed hold of a huge tree trunk and pulled himself up to his feet.

"Damn. And I was just getting to like you kid! Oh well…I suppose one more body won't do me any harm?" He sarcastically responded and pointed his gun up at the injured blue and gold man, who at this point had both of hide arms up in defence. "Haaaa…I've waited a long time to do this…"

"Oh really? What's killing me compared to killing over thousands of innocent women!"

"You know? You really gotta stop going on about that. It's getting annoying." He lifted up the gun to his head and hovered his finger on the trigger. "Amy last words before I send you to the other side?" The parakeet man stood strong and smiled sinisterly.

"Yes…Only…One!" RDJ sounded like he was close to passing out. As he was losing a fair amount of blood. But he was fighting so hard to stay awake.

"And what would that be?"

"Goodbye…" He muttered in a faint tone.

"Goodbye? Really? Out of all the words in the world, you say…"

TCHHHHHHH!

"ACCCCCKKKKKAAAAAA…Haaaaaaa…Ahhhhhhh…" Suddenly, a crossbow bolt came flying straight at the male parakeet. Striking him right in the centre of the throat, going straight through to the point the tail of the bolt was the only thing you could see sticking out the other side.

"Yes…Goodbye scumbag…" RDJ whispered the last part as he was on the verge of passing out from the blood loss.

Rodrigo dropped on the floor with a loud thud…Blood began to fill up in his lungs as he choked on his own blood.

His breathing had become shallow and rapid. And just like that…one of the biggest criminals and scumbags was erased from this world! As his eyes rolled back into his skull and he became cold and lifeless.

And just when you thought that it may have been a police officer who shot the deranged psychopath…it was actually someone else.

"Boom! Take that you ugly old cunt!" Sofia was the one who actually pulled the trigger. Carrying the crossbow over her shoulder like she was Daryl from The Walking Dead. "That's what you get for…Oh…Oh fuck!"

Once the female cardinal had hurriedly approached the clearing herself, dripping the crossbow on the ground besides where she stood. Upon her late arrival, she came across the incredibly weak unconscious body of RDJ.

Who appeared to be very pale and very weak due to the blood he lost when being shot by Rodrigo.

"Oh fuck! FUCK!" The urgency of the situation only intensified after witnessing this. Especially since she's not used to being in this position. "HELP! BLU! BLUUUUUU!"

"SOF?! WHAT'S THE MATTER?!" The blue macaw man was currently sewing up the wound on Lila's leg. After Jewel used a pair of tweezers to remove the shell of the bullet from the wound.

"IT'S RDJ! HE'S NOT RESPONSIVE!" She took off her jacket and placed the blue and gold man into a recovery position. Attempting to give him CPR to keep him awake.

Discovering the gravity of the situation, Sofia thought that taking swift action on her end was of the highest importance. So attempting to perform CPR on him was the first thing she thought of.

"Lila, I'm gonna check on RDJ. You're gonna be okay! Honey, continue sewing the wound!" Blu wasted no time in picking up his medical supplies and running straight over to the private clearing on the other side of the lake.

"It's okay RDJ. Blu is coming to help you! You are gonna be okay dude!" Sofia was pinching his nose and blowing air into his lungs. Which luckily for her managed to keep him awake. But he was still very weak.

"Mmmmm…Lila…" RDJ muttered to himself, with his face going completely pale.

"Lila is fine. She is gonna be waiting for you! Just, keep your head elevated okay?!" The female cardinal once more turned to look over her shoulder. Applying pressure to the wound.

"Lila…Marry…Lila…Me…" In between gasps and pants, his vision had become very blurry and he wasn't able to see who it was in front of him.

Sofia has no idea what he was saying. However, Blu interrupted her trail of thought when he moved her aside slightly so he could immediately get to work.

"Sofia, go and check on Lila. I've got things covered here!" Blu adamantly spoke and immediately got to work on giving him some morphine before he patched up the wound.

The cardinal female didn't want to protest and nodded her head in agreement. Right before she tan back over to check on the others.

"Blu…Lila…Will she…Be okay?" RDJ was regaining some form of strength to be able to stay awake. But you could tell from the tone of his voice that he didn't have the capability to be fully aware of what he was saying.

"Lila is fine okay! The bullet wound wasn't that bad and she was able to be patched up." Blu didn't take his eyes off of what he was doing. Sewing up the wound on his foot. "Luckily the bullet didn't damage any muscle tissue. You'll live to fight another day." Blu grinned and began patching up the other side.

"Good…Haaaa…Fuck me. This has been a crazy experience!"

"It sure has! Maybe you'll be able to do that marriage proposal after all…"

"What marriage proposal?"

"To Lila? The woman you love?" Blu cocked his head to the side in confusion. Wrapping his patched up foot in a bandage.

"You…OUCH!" RDJ whined as he felt a jolt of pain in the foot.

"Sorry! Sorry!" Blu apologised and prepped to give him some painkillers.

"You already heard her at the bar Blu. She's not thinking about marriage and kids. Just face it Blu, she will eventually get bored of the idea and will probably think I'm being too pushy." RDJ sighed heavily, feeling the blood rushing back to his head.

"Well, first of all, it is good to see that you didn't lose too much blood. But you will have to have a nap when I help carry you back to the asylum." Blu remarked as he stood up on his feet.

Blu: Nath, I need your help carrying RDJ back to the asylum

Nath: Copy that. I'm on my way

"Wait…What about him?" The blue and gold man referred to the unconscious scarlet macaw man who was laying motionless on the floor.

"Hmmmm…I, don't know? We can't exactly turn him into the police. Because he has ties with the police captain." The blue man honestly answered, shaking his head from side to side.

RDJ had a little think for a moment of a potential solution.

Which luckily for him…didn't take him that long to figure out. "Say…do you still have that lubricant that you used the time you gave Jewel anal?"

"Yeah, it's in my bedroom. Why?"

"I think our friend Malcom here needs to be shown what he's got himself into…" Like he was plotting a sinister plan. He narrowed his eyes towards the scarlet man, who as of right now remained completely asleep.

I bet you guys and girls are probably wondering what was going to happen next? Well, Rodrigo of course is no more! And he will no longer be terrorising the people of Rio any longer! But now, RDJ has something big in mind for the accomplice who appeared to be none other than Malcom! Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and I'll see you all soon for the next one!
