When Izuku and Himiko came home the next morning, they found an odd sight. Toshinori and Inko cuddled on the couch, but it looked like Inko had been crying. That's when Izuku saw the picture on the table, but the guy in it just seemed like nobody special to him. The man had on a tailored black suit, and had short white curly hair, a strong jaw, but what drew Izuku in were his piercing red eyes. After another moment, Izuku made out more details through the burnt sections… his mom holding the man's hand, and it finally dawned on him, this was his father, Hisashi Midoriya.

Himiko looked from the picture to Izuku, and noticed a few subtle similarities, but Izuku definitely looked a lot more like Inko than this, admittedly attractive, man. Honestly, Himiko could see the appeal, but her Zuzu was definitely hotter. The gasp Izuku released ended up being enough to awaken Toshinori, and the sadness in his eyes scared the teens. Gently, Toshinori nudged Inko awake, but before he could speak Inko kissed him, making the teens snicker, and Himiko sigh, "Finally!"

Inko let out a small yep at that, but didn't let go of Toshinori. Izuku smiled, "Go to see you found your answer."

Himiko and Inko gave Izuku a confused look, but Toshinori just sighed, "Ya, kid. I did. Thanks for the advice, but we have a bigger problem to discuss. Do you remember the story I told you about our quirk?"

Himiko tilted her head, "What's he talking about Zuzu?"

Izuku looked to Toshinori and he nodded, making Izuku move to sit in a chair while placing Himiko on his knee, "Everybody knows the story of the light baby, the first quirk, but it's not. The year before a pair of twins was born. One with the ability to pass on any quirk they possessed and the other to take any quirk they desired. Obviously since this was the beginning, the younger brother who could pass, Yoichi, was believed to be quirkless after all, he had to quirk to pass. His older brother did what he could to help them survive. He stole, threatened, and killed, but not because he loved his brother. His brother was his prized possession, and nothing more."

Toshinori took over, "At some point the older brother decided to give his brother a quirk. It allowed him to store up power, and it fused with the quirk that he already had… creating One for All. The quirk I carried until I passed it on to Izuku. By that point the older brother had created his own villainous empire, and chose a name that became both his and his quirks, All for One. Naturally people rose up to fight him, and they succeeded in freeing Yoichi, but they weren't strong enough to stop AFO, so Yoichi died sacrificing himself to allow his successor to escape."

Izuku sighed, "After that the story gets… hazy. We know how the story began, and recent events, but nothing in between beyond the basics. Holder fights AFO, they lose and pass on OFA. Rinse and repeat, but you told me I wouldn't need to worry Yagi. He might have crippled you, but you killed him. AFO died over six years ago."

Himiko gave Izuku a hug, "So both quirks have been passed down while fighting each other for generations. Toshinori, are you worried he passed on his quirk too."

Toshinori's eyes widened, "No, I hadn't considered that, but I doubt it. AFO has only ever been held by one man."

Himiko paled, "Wait! You said AFO was the first quirk… he can't have survived since then, right? And why does any of this matter? He's dead."

Toshinori sighed, "There are quirks out there to regenerate, slow aging, or extend life. If you found enough of them and stole them, it wouldn't be that hard to remain alive. As for why it matters… AFO chose multiple identities over the years so nobody suspected he was who he was. I thought I killed him, but I'm not so sure now. If he could hide getting married and having a family… I'm not so confident that I should underestimate him. Until I find his body, I can't be sure."

Izuku paled, "What, he had a family!? They must hate you. If he had children… you killed their father… craptheyllprobablycomeformenextbecauseIhaveyourquirkfuck-"

For the first time Inko spoke, "Do you hate Toshinori?"

Izuku was pulled from his mumbling in shock, "No! Of course not! Mr. Yagi is a good man, and a great hero… my hero, my mentor. I already knew that sometimes villains can't be caught, and choose death over capture. Sure, I don't think about the families they leave behind often, but if they were close, shouldn't they understand better than anyone they needed to be stopped or their wishes. Mom, how could you ask me that?"

Toshinori held Inko's hand as he tapped the photo between them, "You see Hisashi Midoriya… I see the face of the monster that killed my mentor and crippled me… Izuku, your father was All for One. I'm sorry."

Izuku sat there for a moment in shock before shaking his head, "No. He isn't my father." Izuku's eyes turned to Inko and the cold emptiness sent a shiver down the adults backs. Inko because she'd never seen anything like it before, and Toshinori because he had… just before he 'killed' AFO. Izuku asked in an even voice, "Did you know?" Inko shook her head. "And he faked his death before I was even born?" This time Inko nodded. Izuku laughed, but there was no warmth, "Then he isn't my father. He donated the material to make me, but he has no claim on me. In fifteen years he's never reached out to us, so I refuse to see him as anything, but a stranger. A villainous stranger that hurt the people I care about." Izuku shifted Himiko off him as he stood, and they saw his right hand become his hammerfist and his left claws as his eyes flickered red… like AFO'S, "I HOPE HE IS ALIVE, BECAUSE I SHOULD BE THE ONE TO FINISH WHAT UNCLE YOICHI STARTED. I SHOULD BE THE ONE TO KILL HIM!"

While the adults looked at him in shock and horror, Himiko just stood up and hugged the enraged boy. In a quiet voice she whispered, but everyone heard her, "Zuzu, you need to calm down. If this is what you need, I'll help you, but you're right, he's just a stranger. You have people who love you, me, your mom… and you have a dad, Toshinori. I know you don't want to admit it, but he was your role model before he was your mentor, and now… I've seen you together, you know I'm right. Don't let a stranger change who you are. Be your Dad's son, be a hero like All Might, and please, don't stop being my Zuzu. Don't leave me."

Izuku started to tremble as his quirk retreated, and he brushed a tear away from Himiko's cheek. Izuku smiled and kissed her forehead, "I promised I'd never leave you, and I don't break my promises. Thanks Kitten." Izuku scooped up Himiko and started walking to their room.

Toshinori sighed, "I guess that went… well at least he didn't swear vengeance on me, I'll take it."

Inko giggled nervously, "Ya, and he didn't seem bothered by us."

Izuku's head suddenly popped around the corner with a happy smile, his green eyes shining, "By the way… hurt my mom, and I'll make it a point to finish what AFO started. Also, the walls are thin, so if I can't have any fun, neither can you. Now I'm going to go cuddle all these emotions out, feel free to do the same, but keep it down. Sleeping on a beach, not my best idea. Good night, and I'm actually really happy for you two."

A pair of hands grabbed Izuku and the adults heard giggling and kissing around the corner. Inko turned to Toshinori with a playful grin, "You heard our son, Toshi. They should be distracted for a while, as long as we're quiet…"

Toshinori smiled, "As you wish, my emerald goddess."

For the next week, Himiko refused to call Toshinori anything but dad, and when people tried to point out how weird it was she'd just scoff, "The sooner you get used to it the sooner it won't be awkward. Also, I'm weird. What's wrong with weird? I thought you loved me, just the way I am?" That ended every complaint. Yes, Himiko was weird and a bit crazy, but they would never dream of changing her, so they just had to accept it.

The morning of the exam Inko made sure to make a feast for her favorite trio. If this was all she could do to support them, then she was going to show them she could go 'plus ultra' too. While the teens just looked at her in awe, when she threw her fist up while giving the cheer, Toshinori felt overwhelmed at how utterly beautiful and perfectly she was to him, and he thanked whatever was out there for giving him the chance to be with her.

While he usually held himself back, and only ate until he wasn't particularly hungry anymore, that morning Izuku indulged. He had no idea how tough the exams would end up being, and he knew that both Himiko and himself were ready, but it couldn't hurt to be prepared. Also, there could never be too much biomass, right?

Toshinori had to head out early for an appointment, but before he left he made sure to give Inko a kiss with all of his appreciation and love. If there had been any doubt in Izuku's mind, seeing his mom suddenly pull off the same breathless look that he loved seeing on Himiko's face made them disappear.

After breakfast the teens got ready to head out too. While usually Himiko just let her hair hang loose or in a ponytail (if she was in a hurry), this morning she wanted to do something special. Usually this meant a pair of messy buns, since she could never seem to make them clean, but not this time. With Izuku's help she made a pair of braided pigtails that came together at their ends to form a heart with only a pair of bangs to frame her face. Was it needlessly complicated, yes. Did seeing the giddy smile on his girlfriend's face made it worth it, also yes.

After finding out his naturally curly hair was something he got from his male donor, Izuku had spent hours figuring out how to permanently change it. Using his new control over his appearance, Izuku did the one thing no hair dresser had ever been able to… he straightened his hair. In the process, Izuku realized he could freely change where his hair streaks were too. He couldn't remove them for whatever reason, something made all the weirder by the fact they disappeared when he took on other people's appearances, but he didn't really want to either. In the end, Izuku chose to take inspiration from his mom and Toshinori. He combed the straightened hair back so that he could keep it out of his face with the green and black playing off each other in a way to make the green look darker and more shadowed. Two long streaks of crimson served to break up the green when it was tied back, but when it was released they sprang forward and became bangs just like Toshinori's.

As for clothes they choose to not wear their school uniforms. Himiko decided to go with a sleeveless black top, and loose red shorts that wouldn't restrict her movement during the practical. Finishing the look, Himiko grabbed one of Izuku's huge green hoodies from before they found out he could make his own. Izuku had offered to just give them to her, but she refused saying, "Stealing your clothes is more fun."

Izuku was 'boring' in his opinion. Since he could freely wear anything he wanted, anytime, so he just chose comfort. A black tee shirt and slacks, his red sneakers, and a gold zippered hoodie that Himiko said she liked, making it Izuku's go to ever since.

Inko cried and hugged them both for almost twenty minutes before she finally let them go. Izuku had been a little worried about being late until Himiko gave him a cheshire grin and admitted she might have set the clock by the door forward an hour, making her boyfriend laugh and give his 'beautiful genius girlfriend' a kiss. The walk was peaceful, and it was only made better by the fact they were walking hand in hand the whole way. As they approached Yuuei they stopped to take it all in. This was their chance to become the heroes they dreamed of being, and they couldn't squander it.

Suddenly Izuku was tackled by something soft and invisible, much to his surprise. He felt invisible arms holding on to him as they cooed and shouted, "I did it Mina! I found our dashing hero. Don't think you can disappear on us this time, cutie."

Izuku felt the killing intent pouring off of Himiko until she spotted a pink skinned girl running over, and it suddenly started to make sense. The pinkette joined her friend in hugging the boy, even as they were both surprised to feel him slowly standing up like their combined weight was nothing to him. Hoping to prevent casualties, Izuku smiled at Himiko, "Himiko, this is Toru and Mina. You remember I told you about them right?"

Mina giggled and teased, "~Been telling your sister about us cutie? It might be a bit early to introduce us to your family, but we aren't opposed. We already agreed to share you, so we don't mind ~."

Himiko laughed, and gave them a hard look with slit pupils, "Girlfriend actually, so why don't you let my Zuzu go. If you want in, you're going to have to convince me you can handle it, and ambushing him like that isn't helping."

As soon as they heard 'girlfriend' the duo recoiled looking sad, but upon hearing that there was still a chance they gave the blond hopeful looks as they asked, "What do we have to do?"

Himiko smiled, "Zuzu, dear, why don't you head inside and find out where we need to go? I'll be in shortly…" Izuku nodded, and started walking away, but he started to blush when he heard, "So, there are rules if you want this. We share everything so… I'll have to test you to make sure you're good enough for my Izuku." Izuku heard both girls let out a squeak of surprise, but he didn't turn around to find out what happened. He had to try to focus on passing this exam, and not on his girlfriend 'testing' anyone. It took a few minutes for Himiko to catch up, but when she did Izuku saw her looking a bit flustered as she gave him a flirty wink. Before he could ask, Himiko smiled, "They passed for now, but I have a few more tests to run." Izuku didn't ask, he recognized that hungry look, and as excited as it made him, he had to focus on the exam.

In the end, it seemed like they were worried for nothing. The written exam was simple enough, with only a few tricky questions thrown in to try and throw them off, but they persevered and managed to finish the three hour test in half the allotted time. After finding out where to go for the practical explanation, and finding out they were invited to explore until then, the duo did so. Before they left, Himiko blew Mina a kiss, and Izuku saw the pinkette's eyes widen and her cheeks turn a shade of purple that Izuku found very cute.

As they walked they found a tall voluptuous girl with long black hair in a high ponytail looking worried. Both shared a look before walking over to help. "Excuse us, but you look like you could use some help. I'm Izuku and this heartthrob is my girlfriend, Himiko. What seems to be the problem?"

The tall girl seemed conflicted, but after a moment she sighed, "My… friend… is taking the written exam for heroics right now, but I can't find the right room. I wanted to wish her luck, but now I'm lost, and all the teachers are busy."

Himiko giggled, "We actually just finished taking ours. Maybe if you give us a description we can help you find her."

The girls face lit up before she blushed, "I never introduced myself! How rude of me. I'm Momo Yaoyorozu. My friend's name is Jirou. Kyoka Jirou, she has radiant dark purple hair, cute earphone jacks coming out of her earlobes, and warm coal black eyes, but they glitter like diamonds when she laughs…" Momo blushed, realizing she might have said too much, but the couple just smiled, no sign of judgment on their faces.

Izuku smiled, "I think she was in our testing room… kinda punk rock vibe with fishnet stockings, and a band tee?" Momo nodded, and Izuku took her hand, "We'll lead you there. If she's still taking the test she should be there, and if not… Well, we'll help you look. The practical doesn't start for another forty-five minutes, so you have our undivided attention till then. Maybe we can just hang out if she's not done yet?"

Izuku started leading her, so he didn't see how the tall girl was blushing at his touch, but Himiko did, "Zuzu, why don't you run ahead to stop her. It would suck if we just missed her." Izuku dashed away at an impressive speed, leaving the girls alone to talk as they walked. "You don't need to worry Momo, I like girls too. My Izuku and I are open minded. We don't judge, as long as everything is consensual."

Momo blushed, "Really? You're not… disturbed? I was raised to believe I had to find a man and 'continue the Yaoyorozu line', but most guys only want me for my money or body. Kyoka doesn't care about either, and… I love her for it."

Himiko scoffed, "You have shit parents then. I can relate, but Izuku and his mom… they're different. They love and accept me for who I am, and while Zuzu could probably scratch all my itches now, he understands that I'm non-monogamous. As long as we talk to each other about it… he doesn't mind if I hunt a little on the side." Momo blushed, but Himiko continued, "Can't really blame the boys either because… damn girl, your hot. Kyoka's lucky to have you."

Momo smiled as they approached the testing room, and saw a confused Jirou talking to Izuku. In a whisper she said, "I'm the lucky one. I don't know what I'd do without her."

Himiko smiled too, "I know the feeling. Pass or fail, if you ever need anything let us know. We both have a weakness for pretty girls in distress, and seeing her… my door will always be open if either of you need to talk… or cuddle." Himiko snickered as she walked away and jumped into Izuku's arms for a little 'reunion kiss' and Izuku was happy to indulge her. Momo froze at the offer, but… she didn't immediately turn it down. Kyoka was shy once you got past the punk rock persona, so she probably wouldn't be interested, but… it couldn't hurt to talk about it.

The two couples walked to the room where the practical was going to be explained to most of them, and they chose to just hang around there until it was time to go in. Since they had the time, Izuku sat against one of the walls with Himiko sitting in his lap like it was perfectly normal. Himiko pulled up his hood, and kissed his cheek as he wrapped his arms around her before taking a short nap. The other girls blushed at the very public displays of affection, but that just made Himiko smirk and nuzzle into Izuku's lap.

As they sat and relaxed, they continued to talk. Apparently Jiro had limited sonic abilities by channeling the sound of her heartbeat through her ear jacks, and Momo could make things by converting fat into usable material. If Momo understood the structure and materials, she could in theory replicate it, but only non-organic stuff since organic structures were too intricate and complex. That statement made Himiko laugh much to the others' confusion, but it also drew two more girls to them… Mina and Toru.

After they were introduced, and the new duo stopped pouting that Himiko got to snuggle with Izuku, Jiro finally asked the question that had been bothering her, "You don't seem shy at all, so what's your story? How did you two meet?"

The other three girls joined Jiro in looking at a suddenly no longer smiling Himiko, but after shifting slightly and receiving a tender squeeze from Izuku, even asleep he knew what she needed Himiko began, "Well before we get to Zuzu… you'll need context. I was born with a villainous quirk." The amount of venom in that single word was positively dripping, but they didn't interrupt. "My quirk is called 'copy'. If I drink a little blood, I can become the person I drank from, and I don't just mean visibly. I can speak in their voice, move and act like them, but it comes at a cost. I require blood regularly to stay me. Animal blood is enough, but my parents thought it was disgusting… I was disgusting, so they refused to feed me. My mind started going, I was slowly deteriorating. Heck, I was catching birds and small animal's so I didn't completely lose it, and was beaten for it."

The other girls looked at her in horror, but instead of running away they reached out and either hugged or held her hand, except Jiro. Jiro looked enraged, "That's… that's… UGH. How dare they call themselves your parents! That's quirk abuse! Let me at them! I'll turn their bones to powder."

Himiko sniffled, and smiled, "It's ok. I haven't seen them in years… thanks to my Zuzu and Mom… I mean Izuku's mom, Inko. When I was eight, I was in a public park trying to fit in, and be normal, but I was so hungry. That's when a little boy almost exactly a year younger than me with cute emerald hair sat down and gave me the most radiant smile as he complimented me on my fangs. He was kind, and nobody had ever done that before. My parents called them disgusting, the other kids in my class were afraid I'd use them to bite them, and in their defense… I did a couple times when the hunger got too intense, but here was a boy who called them pretty. He wanted to help me, so I took a chance… I told him my story the same way I'm telling you now, but he wasn't afraid. He did something nobody else ever has."

Toru giggled, "He sounds like a prince or a hero!"

Himiko smiled, "He is my hero, and he never stopped looking out for me. That little boy gave me a stern look before pulling me away from everyone. He bit into his own arms and offered me his blood. He hurt himself without a second's thought for someone he just met. My Izuku's quirk was 'complete regeneration'. He would heal, but it still hurt him to open himself up… over and over again until he nearly passed out." Himiko gave Izuku a loving look, "When Inko found out, she didn't reject me… she gave me a safe place to hide, a home. She made sure I was fed, loved, and… she was the first loving parent I'd ever had. Even before we got together, she was already basically my mom. When my birthers nearly beat me to death she took me in permanently. I owe them everything. I love Izuku with all my heart."

Toru and Mina looked like they were about to cry, or at least Mina did. Toru being invisible was hard to read, but the sniffles were a clear sign. That's when Momo gave Himiko a confused look, "You said his quirk was complete regeneration, like it isn't anymore. Quirks rarely change. What did you mean?"

Himiko chuckled, "His did. We call it 'Dark Evolution' now. It's not my place to tell you what he can do now, but…" Himiko giggled, "I hope the practical isn't competitive, because as sweet as my boy is… I'd have no chance against him. He gave me a gift too." Himiko turned to Momo, "Do you think you can do me a favor Ms. Tall and beautiful?" Momo blushed before nodding. Himiko grinned, "I need a rod of high carbon steel, or titanium if you can, and a sheet of paper. A half inch thick and six inches long should be enough for the rod please."

Momo looked around before reaching down and exposing her stomach. There was a momentary flash, before a rod of titanium appeared in her hand. Himiko took it with a smile before flexing her hand, and making a bone dagger appear in her other hand. A moment later, Momo was holding a sheet of paper. With one fluid motion Himiko brought her bone knife down on the rod. While the girls expected the knife to shatter or barely bite into the bar, they were instead shocked to see it cut through like the bar was wet toilet paper. Himiko took the paper next, but instead of cutting it, Himiko simply let the paper float down against the edge of the blade, and it just seemed to fall apart into two pieces. With her demonstration complete, Himiko made the blade disintegrate in her hand leaving the other's confused.

Mina tilted her head, "You said your quirk was copy. Unless you can copy quirks… what was that?"

Himiko sighed, "This is the gift I mentioned. Izu, I don't know how he can do it, but he gave me a piece of what he can do… in exchange for a piece of what I can do."

Toru waved her hands, "Wh-what are you talking about?!"

Himiko took a breath to answer but found herself suddenly unable to answer, with Izuku's hand over her mouth. Himiko let out a small breathy moan as Izuku shifted and rested his head on her shoulder while removing his hand. They heard him whisper, "Himi, are you telling secrets? Do I have to punish you, my love?"

Himiko felt hot breath on her neck, and purred, "Morning Zuzu. I was just telling the girls a bit about myself. I only told them the need to know stuff about you, I promise."

The girls saw Izuku smile, "I trust you, Himi, you know that. If you say you had to, then you had to." Izuku kissed her neck, and looked at the other girls, "Want to see something… interesting?" The girls all shared a look before shrugging. Izuku carefully stood up and smiled before he bit his finger, and held it out to Himiko. They watched as Himiko suckled at the bloody digit for a second before her body was covered in a second skin, and she suddenly looked like Izuku. Izuku on the other hand was suddenly covered in writhing tendrils making all of the girls scoot away in surprise. After a moment they were looking at the couple again, but Izuku was wearing Himiko's clothes from a moment ago, and Himiko was just smirking at them until she blinked and her yellow eyes were suddenly green.

'Himiko' took a small bow, "She did say she gave me a piece of what she can do, but mine functions a little differently. I can be anyone I've ever 'sampled' before, or I can change up my appearance to make small adjustments to my base." The tendrils' returned, and now two Izuku's stood before them, but there were small differences. The Izuku in Himiko's clothes had curly hair for one thing.

After a moment, that Izuku seemed to melt, revealing Himiko's smirking face beneath, "He cheats. Not only does he get clothes, but he doesn't need to drink more to change."

Himiko pouted, until Izuku gave her a kiss. "It's about time we go inside, and find out what our practical will be like." Izuku gave the others a chance to say goodbye and head inside before he turned to Momo, "It was nice meeting you. Hopefully I'll get to see you again, but if not…" Izuku kissed Momo's hand, "Take care of yourself and Jiro. You're both going to be amazing heroes. You're beautiful, powerful, and kind. I wish you all the joy in the world." With that, Izuku smiled, and walked inside leaving a blushing Momo behind him.

Once inside everyone found seats with Izuku ending up surrounded by girls, but he didn't mind, even if he found it a new experience. The voice hero: Present Mic, came out to tell them about the practical in his hero costume, and Jiro seemed especially happy seeing the man decked out in black leather, boots, and gloves. In a boisterous tone he explained they would be wreaking robots varying from one to three points (depending on difficulty) while competing against each other. The girls remembered Himiko's warning, and paled slightly until a tall boy with glasses and dark blue hair interrupted Mic stiffly, "Sir, the form clearly depicts four robots. If this is an error on official Yuuei paperwork it shows a clear lack of diligence on the part of the institution. Also, if the ladies in the back want to gossip during important briefings, this might not be the place for you."

This immediately got under Izuku's skin as he saw his new friends look away embarrassed. Standing up, Izuku stated defensively, "I don't know who you are, or care, but if that's your attitude… maybe you're the one who doesn't belong. If you had bothered to read, you'd already know about the significance of the fourth bot, but clearly you're too impatient to listen to a pro who is donating his time when he could be saving lives. As for the girls, having the ability to communicate is a vital skill in order to protect the most people, and work as a team. Clearly these are skills you lack, so if you would please sit down and shut up, some of us want to actually take advantage of this opportunity." Izuku turned to Mic and bowed, "My apologies Mic-sensei. Please, continue with the briefing." Izuku sat down leaving the boy utterly shocked, and causing snickering around the room. The boy seemed to shrink back into his seat leaving a bewildered Mic to finish explaining about the exam, and the Zero pointer.

Once Mic was done they got up to go to their testing sights with only Toru finding herself in the same test site as Izuku. Something that immediately earned her a hug and apology from Himiko, much to her bewilderment. Before they separated to get on different buses, Himiko found herself grabbed and embraced by Izuku, "Just wanted to wish you luck, Kitten. I know you won't need it, but I'd be a shitty boyfriend if I didn't do at least this much."

Himiko giggled and pulled him down into a tender kiss, "Try not to make them look too bad, my emerald monster. Toru still needs a few points to join us, and it wouldn't be the same-"

Suddenly they heard the tall boy as he rushed over and started chopping the air, "Such public displays of affection are prohibited on Yuuei grounds. I must insist you separate immediately!"

Izuku and Himiko grumbled, but separated before smirking, and as they walked away they kept eye contact with the boy as each moved past Mina and Toru. Himiko to Mina and Izuku to Toru as they each gave their respective girl a kiss on the cheek for luck. This seemed to make the boy nearly short circuit in irritation, but by the time he recovered they were gone, leaving a blushing duo behind them, and a single girl feeling oddly left out.

Unfortunately, the boy ended up on the same bus as Izuku, but Izuku was prepared. Using other students as a distraction, Izuku became a dark haired version of Himiko with red eyes, and a slightly darker complexion. The boy looked even more annoyed, but settled for grumbling about the 'rudeness of some people'. Izuku just chuckled to himself as Toru took her seat next to him after Izuku gave her a wave and a subtle green eyed wink.

After they arrived at the testing site, Izuku used the bus to block sight as he changed back into himself, but now wearing a sleeveless green hoodie, and black basketball shorts, so people would assume he just disappeared to change clothes.

At Himiko's test site she was with the rest of the other participants as she removed her extra clothing until she was just in her black top and red shorts. Despite her muscles not being as defined as Izuku's, the hungry looks she received as she stored away her extra clothes still made Himiko smirk. She added a little bounce to her step as she moved to start stretching, but in the process she caught a glint off to the side. Taking note of it, Himiko did her stretches until everyone had returned to preparing themselves. With a cheeky grin, Himiko snuck over to the camera and bowed, "I know this test is important, but… I'd like to dedicate my performance to my Dad. The only Dad I'll ever want or need. I know you're there. You might not be my mentor like you as his, but I still hope I can make you proud. I… I love you Dad." A single tear escaped her eye, as Himiko turned and walked away.

In the viewing room all the teachers were looking around confused. Naturally given her looks everyone looked at Mic, but he just shook his head as he adamantly rejected that the girl was his. That's when they heard a sniffle, and to their surprise they saw Toshinori Yagi, the symbol of peace, smiling as he watched the screen with tears rolling down his face. While the others froze in shock, one did not. The small white furred chimera that served as Yuuei's principle jumped up next to Yagi, and gave him a handkerchief. Principle Nexu, was a *redacted* with a scarred right eye. Due to that he looked like a chimera of a dog, bear, and mouse. With a chuckle he patted the man's side, "She's the one you told me about right?"

Toshinori nodded, and finally looked around, noticing the look on the others' faces as he sighed, "I already informed Nezu, but…" The man chuckled, "I never saw myself as a father, but then I met young Midoriya, my protege, and through him… Inko. Young Himiko is her daughter in all but blood and my protege's girlfriend. She calls me her Dad Might-"

There was a cooing laugh from a woman in classic dominatrix gear and a red domino mask, "That's so cute!"

Toshinori blushed, "It's why I said no to being a part of the grading. My kids deserve the chance to shine without becoming eclipses by my… everything. I refuse to let anyone believe they are any less than the heroes I know they can be. No nepotism, no favors, no special treatment… I'm going to stand by them as Toshinori Yagi, not All Might."

The other teachers nodded as they returned to what they were doing before, and Nezu clapped his paws, "Truly inspiring, as always."

Elsewhere there was the grinding of gears as everyone heard Mic yell over the speakers, "Go!" While most of the other participants looked around confused, a few did not, and of those few the teachers were surprised to see two who seemed to be leading the pack. After her heartfelt message, Nezu had made sure to pull up the file of young Himiko Toga, and after seeing what Izuku was doing Nezu had earmarked his file as well. Once more Mic made his presence known, "Got going, slowpokes. There's no countdown in real life!" This seemed to snap most of them out of their daze, but in two sites it didn't last.

As Himiko ran into the mock forest that would serve as her testing area, she formed two bone knives in her hands and seemed to become someone else. She didn't change physically, but her eyes lit up and she got a manic grin as she effortlessly seemed to dance among the leaves and trees using her knives to behead or disembowel any robot she found.

That was nothing though, when compared to the beast let loose in Izuku's mock city site. Since his hammerfist was slightly clunky, Izuku had chosen to start with his claws, and seeing a fellow participant's arms ripple with red tendrils until his hands were replaced with claws about six to seven inches long, had caused a wave of instinctual fear to wash through the other participants. This wasn't helped when they saw said guy charging at robots and using said claws to slash apart any robot they could like a horrific combination of hunting cat and bladed hurricane.

In both sites, it became immediately apparent that these two were different. They danced through the destruction like it was a gentle spring shower, before seeming to effortlessly bound up and around the environment to do whatever they needed to do. Scouting from rooftops/tall trees, bouncing off cars/stumps, running along walls, and using light poles/fire escapes/trees to swings on, they made it all seem easy and fluid like it was the most normal thing in the world, even as everyone's minds screamed that this level of acrobatics and athleticism was a marvel in and of itself. Through it all Toshinori beamed with pride as he internally cheered, "That's right you two. Shine, shine like the stars you are, and burn away the darkness. Don't stop or slow until you show everyone that YOU ARE HERE! My story might be reaching its end, but yours is only beginning."

Over the next eight minutes, Izuku and Himiko seemed to appear and disappear throughout their test sites. Sometimes only appearing when a blade suddenly appeared buried in a robot's head, but that wasn't the only times they were seen. Sometimes they showed up just to help other participants when they made a mistake, like being too close to a robot when they exploded, attacked, or stopped working. More than once, Izuku had to shift to hammerfist in order to break up cement after a building became unstable, or Himiko had to pause to help trim a tree after spotting someone pinned beneath by a rampaging robot. One thing never changed though, everywhere they went they smiled and laughed like everything was under control.

Finally it was time for Nezu's favorite part of the test… pressing the big red button. Suddenly every test site began to shake and rumble as the final obstacles were released, the Zero pointers. There might only be one per area, but when each Zero was the size of a twelve story building, and capable of knocking down high rises like kicking open an unlocked door, there didn't need to be more than one to get the job done. While most participants ran away, either not seeing a point in engaging the Kiju sized robots, or simply too afraid to stay in their path, Izuku and Himiko saw them differently. They knew that something like that would cause panic and destruction, and not everyone would be able to get away, so while everyone else ran away… they didn't.

Because of that each found someone in critical need of assistance. Izuku found a girl with round pink cheeks and brown hair desperately trying to free her pinned leg from under a huge slab of concrete, and Himiko found a short girl with long sea green hair and a wide frog-like mouth. She appeared to have been knocked out when a branch snapped and hit her head, before pinning her beneath it. Himiko wanted to stop the robot, but even from where she was, she could tell it's armor was too thick for her knives, and it would take too long to cripple it. Someone could die if she tried, so Himiko forced back the urge, and saved who she could. Freeing the greenette, Himiko started to run unaware that she had started to awaken after being jostled, or how the girl blushed as she looked up into her savior's cat-like yellow eyes.

Izuku on the other hand couldn't force back the urge to stop the rampaging goliath. After freeing the brunette, and handing her off to the first person he found, the baffled and distrustful blue haired boy from earlier, Izuku rushed at the Zero, much to the awe of the people left around. Izuku used his hammerfists to beat away at the bot's chest and weaken the armor until it swatted him away like a fly, and a loud wet crack was heard. Izuku hit the ground hard, and staggered for a moment before they heard him scream out a challenge as he lept back in with his claws out once more. Quickly, Izuku managed to rip open a hole in the armor large enough to crawl inside, but no matter what he did the robot wouldn't stop. That's when he felt a pull inside him like all of his strength, his will, and his rage was being drawn into a single point no larger than his fist… before it exploded.

Outside everyone saw the Zero suddenly lock up as black and red tendrils shot out of it in every direction ripping thousands of holes in its armor and giving it a momentary porcupine-esque appearance before all of the tendrils retreated back inside. As the steel colossus sat unmoving, like a massive monument, they saw a single figure slowly crawl out until they seemed to pass out and fall, sounding like wet meat when it hit the ground, and somehow creating a crater. That was when Mic's voice echoed out across the test sites announcing the end of the test.

The elderly medic, Chiyo Shuzenji, aka Recovery Girl was rushing to the site of the incident with her syringe-like cane in hand. There was always an idiot each year who decided to challenge a Zero, but usually they figured out quickly that they were outmatched. They'd end up with minor injuries, and she'd have to scold them, but this time was different… this time the moron actually won. As Recovery Girl drew close she saw the broken down Zero, and the crater near it, but before she could get to close she felt a pair of hands pull her back. Looking thoroughly irritated, Recovery Girl glared at the blond who had seemed to come out of nowhere, and pulled her back. Before the aged pro could begin to lecture, the blonde sighed, "I'm sorry, but if you'd gotten any closer… Well, we still don't know what effect they would have on people."

Recovery Girl scoffed, "And what are they? Who are you?"

The blond giggled and scratched the back of her head, "Himiko, ma'am. I'm Himiko, and the boy in the crater is my boyfriend. That's how I know you should stay back." Recovery Girl scoffed, but before she could retort the girl pulled out a protein bar and threw it toward the crater. Suddenly a red tendril snapped out and skewered the bar in mid-air. The old pro paled as she saw the bar start to dissolve and be absorbed by the tendril as it drew back. Himiko sighed, "He's unconscious and low on biomass. Otherwise the tendrils wouldn't be necessary. I'm sorry again, but we haven't tested whether live biomass could be targeted. Kind of hard to test without, you know, taking a risk, and I might like getting ate, but not like that."

Recovery Girl ignored the crass comment and reached into her bag, pulling out a handful of colored gummies. Handing one to Himiko, the girl smiled and chewed immediately feeling a lot more invigorated. Recovery Girl looked up at the blond, "Can I see the wrapper from that bar you threw? Also, how many bars does it usually take before you can approach?"

The teen nodded, and handed over the wrapper, "Usually three, maybe four, but I had six on me for emergencies, and that was the last one. My poor Zuzu must have really gone overboard this time."

The elder hero blinked owlishly, "That's impossible! There's enough protein in one of these bars to give a professional bodybuilder a rush! This is a near toxic amount of raw protein… even one of these could cause a stroke, but six!"

Himiko looked away sheepishly, "Izuku is special, what can I say? You wouldn't happen to have-"

Himiko was cut off by a sudden squeak and noticed a pair of floating gloves just beyond the reach of a tendril. Recovery Girl threw the gummies at it, and much to her shock saw the end of the tendril split seamlessly to skewer all three before retreating back. The Invisible girl let out a breath, "Thanks, Himiko. When I heard Izu was hurt, I ran over, but… what was that?"

Recovery Girl sighed as she threw another handful of gummies at the crater resulting in a bunch of tendrils coming out to catch them, but seemingly not extending as far before doing so, "Later. How often does he eat these?"

Himiko sighed, "Not often." Recovery Girl let out a relieved sigh. "Those are for emergencies. He prefers the ones Ma- his mom and I make for him. I think they have about one kilogram of protein per bar, and he eats two per day, or three during training days."

Recovery Girl paled and dropped her cane as she stammered, "Who… How long?"

Himiko looked confused, "According to Izuku's mom she got the recipe for the bars when he was four, but it's fine, right? His doctor gave it to her, so it has to be safe? I'll admit his need for them has grown over time, but…" Himiko looked scared, "Is he ok?"

To Recovery Girl's surprise she heard the Invisible girl sounding just as worried as she seemingly hugged the blond to calm her down. Using more gummies to test a theory, she tossed more at the crater and noticed the tendrils didn't appear until the gummies had practically entered the crater itself. With a snort the older woman declared, "I think it's time I get a look at this medical marvel." With confident steps she started to approach, with the duo of teen girls behind her, but the tendrils didn't appear. Reaching the lip, Recovery Girl was met with an odd sight. A teen that visually could have passed for an adult laid at the bottom of the crater completely unharmed, but unconscious. Before she could get close enough for a better look, the blond stopped her again, and held up a hand to wait.

Recovery Girl watched as the blond carefully approached, but while the tendrils came close, they didn't attack her. Taking that as a sign, Recovery Girl tried to follow, but the tendrils grew agitated, and one covered in sharp bone spurs, like spikes, slammed the ground near her leaving long gashes in the pavement, but seemingly not having any issues doing so. Himiko sighed, "Please stay back until I wake him up. The tendrils will disappear after that, but until then they'll attack anyone they see as a threat."

"But not you," grumbled Recovery Girl.

The blond beamed, "Yup, I'm perfectly safe. My Zuzu loves me, and he'd never hurt me, even subconsciously."

After a few minutes, Himiko was proven correct as the tendrils receded completely, and the boy stirred. With a groan his eyes opened and he spoke, "I guess I actually died this time. Why else would I wake up to an angel caring for me?"

Recovery Girl rolled her eyes, and heard snickers from the other girl, but Himiko just shrugged, "What did you do this time?"

The boy chuckled, "Well beautiful angel, I was trying to stop a metal goliath from crushing some people, and I might have decided… it needed to be stopped permanently, or more people would get hurt." The blond continued to smile, even as she reared back and punched him in the nose, breaking it. Recovery Girl was about to scold her, when she saw the broken bit of cartilage pop back into place like it never happened, and heard the boy grumble, "Ow. I'm sorry Kitten. You know I can't help it. Also just because I've had worse, doesn't mean that doesn't still hurt."

Izuku heard a new voice say, "How much worse, young man?"

Himiko shifted so that Izuku could see Recovery Girl while using his girlfriend's legs and lap as a support/pillow. Izuku took one look at the woman and smiled, "Oh, It's the youthful hero: Recovery Girl! I'd heard you worked for Yuuei as an on-site doctor, but this is a real honor, ma'am."

Recovery girl scoffed, "While the enthusiasm and politeness is appreciated, you still haven't answered my question young man, and I have quite a few, but firstly. How are you feeling, and how much worse do you mean?"

Izuku sighed, "I'll be fine. I'm a little tired and hungry, but… I'm pretty indestructible." At Recovery Girl's unimpressed look Izuku sighed, "Himi, can you do me a favor?" Himiko, already knowing she wasn't going to like this just from his tone, nodded. "Chop off my arm at the shoulder." Recovery Girl's eyes went wide, and before she could stop them, Himiko created a bone knife in her hand, and did as she was asked with a scowl. Recovery Girl prepared to scream at how completely moronic that was, but was stopped by the sight of dozens of small red tendrils popping out of his wound and reattaching the arm like it was never cut. Rolling his shoulder, Izuku smirked, "See. Nearly indestructible. I can tell you from experience, even if you splatter my head, it'll reform after a few moments. Hurts like hell, but I've gotten used to it. When you have a bully with a proclivity for dismemberment and explosive vivisection… you kind of don't have a choice."

Recovery Girl paled and blinked. After a quick examination and finding no signs or injury, or the slightest scar she spoke up, "Did you report the bullying?"

Izuku shook his head, "No evidence, so nothing to report. Did you notice I didn't even bleed?"

Recovery girl sighed, "Well, let's take this conversion elsewhere. I have other potential students to check on, but don't think you're getting away without a serious discussion."

Izuku nodded, "Of course. Himi and I have a request to make anyway, since we're pretty sure we'll be attending next semester."

"Confident, aren't we? Fine, follow me," stated Recovery girl as she started leaving the crater with her new temporary assistants. The older woman sighed to herself as she thought, "Dammit Toshinori, your son is too much like you."

Breakdown: T minus two weeks till you all find out what's up with Katsuki. With that said let's break this chapter down.

Time for some world building, yay. To explain Toshinori's logic in jumping from 'he had a secret family' to 'he might not be dead' it's more of a situation where Toshinori realizes he underestimated AFO, so he's evaluating everything.

Not the first instance of 'red eyes', but they are important so keep an eye out. What triggers them will become clear in time.

Also the whole 'Dad' thing is a very Himiko thing to do. She doesn't like awkwardness, so she beats it over the head with a bat whenever possible. Also, I don't care if it's slightly chauvinist to say, but I don't understand the appeal of stealing your partner's clothes. I'll use it, and we all know it's a real thing, but still… no idea why. On the other hand, wearing something because your partner likes it is also a thing so *shrug*.

How did Mina and Toru identify Izuku? Tall guy matching their hero's description with a girl wearing said hoodie next to him… lucky guess. Also, are they a bit thirstier than normal, yes but also no. Let's just say if Bieber can have that effect without any actual talent, then Izuku risking his life (in their view) isn't so unbelievable, also he's kind of attractive and smart, what's not to like. On top of that, they're both shippers and romantics, so a dashing hero is like catnip to them. Not going to say what Himiko did to them. Imagining is so much more fun.

So yes, I wrote both of the first two pairs of girl's to be open minded to the harem idea, but not everyone will start out that way. They just got lucky with the ones who randomly got picked. In all honesty there were a few options for who Izuku would save in the alley, Mina and Toru were just the ones who ended up there.

I wish Ida wasn't such an easy mark, but he is. He's going to be a bit less friendly in this story (sadly) due to the fact, well he's the poster child for standard. White picket fences, 2.5 kids, heteronormative… the guy was raised that rules are to be followed and not bent. He's not hateful, just really unsure how to handle what's going on, and seeing a literal harem that openly loves each other without shame is going to short circuit the poor boy's mind. F's in the comments for this poor lad. He's about to have a rough semester.

Also if Yuga can spot the cameras, so can Himiko. Himiko is more 'aware' then Izuku, so she already picked up on some of what's going on, but like a cat she's content to watch for the most part until she needs to act. Toshinori being a softy isn't news either. Toshinori doesn't want to cheapen the teens' climb to the top. He could grease wheels, but he would view that as cheating, and he honestly believes that they don't need the help.

The practical test was a fun thought experiment. I don't go into too much detail after the test starts, but I think it's more fun to imagine the carnage they created. Anyone who's played Prototype knows exactly what I mean. Devastating random bases without a care in the world is just so fun.

Situational awareness, that's the difference between Izuku/Himiko, and the other applicants when it comes to the Zeros. Everyone else forgets the big picture, but they don't, and that's what makes them top tier. Like let's be honest, Himiko can't fight a Zero straight up. She doesn't really have the tools to pull that off, but that's not the point. She has enough awareness to recognize that, and still minimize potential casualties. If you need a visual aid for how Izuku got inside the Zero, look up how Mercer jacks tanks in game. That was kind of the inspiration. Also, first devastator unlocked in epic fashion.

So, here we see the first signs of Izuku's two tendrils. One are feeding tendrils, fast and able to adapt and split to catch biomass, and the other are defensive tendrils. He doesn't have conscious control of them (yet), but they resemble thinker tentacles covered in bone spikes like thorns. Also, Himiko is wrong. Spoilers, the defense tendrils don't attack those that carry the 'virus' aka infected. It has nothing to do with feeling, other than the fact Izuku only infects the ones he loves.

And now we meet the only character I feel worse for than Ida. At least he only has to deal with rampant pda (public displays of affection). Recovery Girl has to deal with trying to make sense of Izuku, and spoilers… it might drive her crazy trying because Izuku shouldn't be able to exist the way he does. He's a medical mystery and marvel, and she's not going to like any part of this. I think that's it. Until next week, shine on beautiful readers. Shine on.
