- UA Ultra Archive Student Analysis: Son Goku

Quirk: Monkey Boy. Manifested as a monkey's tail, this Quirk gives its user the ability to move as fast as the fastest monkeys, while being able to hit as hard as a train. Does not like moonlight.
Power: 4/5 (B), 5/5 (A) at Full Power
Speed: 5/5 (A)
Technique: 6/5 (S)
Intelligence: 4/5 (B)
Cooperativeness: 4/5 (B)

Son Goku's greatest strengths are his impeccable martial arts techniques, strength, and speed. Tail is a potential weakness...? Regardless, a strike while his guard is down will deal significant damage against him. Such a strategy is easily employed if he's focused only on one target and is unaware of any other targets. As such, the best way to take him out would be distraction and a stealth strike, especially with more allies.

-Chapter 4, Subchapter 1: Hero Training Pt. 1: An Explosive Battle at Ground Beta-

The next day was the start of the proper cirriculum. And it starts out with pretty basic, but absolutely boring subjects.
"So, kiddos? Which of these sentences is incorrect?" Present Mic asked as he points at the question. Goku, having learned a little bit of English from Gohan's literature lessons, is not as proficient as some of the smarter kids, but he can recognize that D is certainly not the correct answer.
After more classes, Lunch Rush comes in, and he gets to see Goku's legendary appetite for the first time. An absurdly large amount of food, gone in only a few minute's time.

As sudden as the wind, All Might comes in for Fundamental Heroic Studies as the teacher. Everyone's starstruck, especially Izuku and Goku.

"I! AM HERE! COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE NORMAL!" All Might said in his trademark ham fashion. "Hero Basic Training! The class that'll teach all of you how to become the Heroes of tomorrow! Today's exercise is... BATTLE TRAINING!"
"Battle... Training...?!" The class shouted in unison. Goku perks up, looking absolutely giddy, almost like a five year old getting a lifetime's supply of candy. Katsuki's grin turns Grinch-like as he eyes down his former friend, while Izuku turns slightly pale at the prospect.

And yet, internally, the aspiring Hero feels relief as he was able to focus on Goku's comment and he internally found his limits: 5%.
That's enough so that the worst he gets is tingling, but it's not enough to destroy himself.

"That's right, Battle Training! But before we get into the thick of it, you will need these! According to the Quirk Registry and your special request forms, you all will get-"
"Costumes!" the class blurted out in unison again, the suitcases popping out of a slider on the walls. Everyone was feeling excited now, taking the suitcases marked with their names.
"Exactly! It's important to look good in the public eye while having the best access to your Quirks, ladies and gentlemen!" All Might said. "We will be meeting on Grounds Beta, come over and change into your Hero Costumes! Then we'll start our lesson for today, as you all take your first step to being HEROES IN TRAINING!"

And soon on the grounds of Ground Beta, everyone dressed up in their Hero outfits using the locker facility nearby. And soon, the majority of Class 1A exits and they all know just how they look.

Goku's outfit was the same as his Entrance Exam costume, just with blue boots and a dark blue undershirt. He just feels nice being in something more comfortable, even with some of his classmates looking at his physique. Some of them were envious of such a build, others were smitten with it. It still feels weird seeing him having his tail out like that, but he doesn't feel stressed out to retreat it.

For some of the costumes that Goku looked at: he saw Tenya's knight-like suit of armor. With Katsuki, those gauntlets at the end of his lower arms look practical, but also something he doesn't want to be at the exploding end of. Ejiro's confused Goku, since it's a suspender, though it's possible that his Quirk requires some kind of skin to be shown off. He can't exactly see himself wearing something skin-tight, his gi gives his skin some space to breathe and it works well enough that he won't easily replace it. He then saw Mashirao's costume and felt a bit dumb, though thankfully, orange and blue made for a good, colorful contrast.

Other, less savory elements, such as Minoru, was gawking at the females garbed in their costumes, muttering to himself that "The Hero Course is the Best". Izuku, as soon as he came out, was embarrassed to see Ochako's tight costume as she commented this wasn't she had in mind, and that's not getting into the amount of skin Momo's costume showcased, though even that costume paled when a floating pair of gloves and boots came in.
That's right, the invisible girl's pretty much naked.
Goku, however, couldn't help but lightly snicker at Izuku's Hero Costume; he looked like a demented Easter Bunny dyed green! He understands why, since he wanted to mimic All Might, but the effect of the costume clearly sacrificed form and functionality for no benefit. The No. 1 Hero himself was clearly not amused with Midoriya. This was a failure to not sway him enough to make him into his own Hero.

"Grounds Beta? Sensei, are we partaking in more cityscape exercises?" Iida asked.

"Nope! We willl be moving on to step two: Indoor Anti-Personnel Battles!" All Might says. "While there are plenty of fighting on the streets, it's actually the inside of buildings such as this innocuous office building that'll be the most likely time you'll fight Villains! Whether it'd be confinement, house arrest, or black-market deals, the most clever Villains draw their battles indoors! You'll be split into Villains and Heroes, in teams of two!"
"So, there's no training, ribbit?" Asui asked.
"It'll be practical experience!" All Might answered. "The difference will be that you're not just facing robots."
"What will determine victory?" "Can I just blast someone away?" "You're not going to threaten expulsion like Aizawa-sensei, right?" "How shall we split into pairs?" "Isn't my Hero costume just fabulous?"
"One at a time! My Quirk isn't Super Hearing!" All Might was being backed by all these questions. However, he had the handy cheat sheet on him. "Alright, listen up! The Villain Team will be holding a nuclear warhead in this very building. Heroes, your objective will be capturing the Villain Team or to touch the warhead within fifteen minutes! Villains, you are to guard the warhead or capture the Hero Team! As for Iida's question, we shall be drawing lots to determine our team!"
"Is that really the best way?" Tenya said, incredulous.
"Well, it makes sense. If we're Heroes, we will often have to collaborate with other Agencies, so we don't always have a steady partner!" Midoriya explained.
"I see... my mistake, it all makes sense now!" Tenya apologized.
"You're fine, my boy! Let's get started!" All Might declared, as he starts drawing the lots. Goku was paired up with Katsuki to his chagrin. For all it's worth, he simply glared at his partner, his menacing red eyes piercing the darkness of his pupils. That innocent-looking face, betraying his raw power... what an absolute farce!

"And now, our first battle will be... Team D, Midoriya and Uraraka as the Heroes versus Team A, Bakugou and Son as the Villains!" All Might says.
"Aw, man? A Villain?" Goku said, distressed.
"Just don't get in my way or you'll die, Monkey!" Katsuki yelled in annoyance. For some reason, that struck a nerve in his partner. Good, Monkey it is, thought the explosive boy.
"Now, now! Let's get you two into the building! You will have fine minutes to ready up. As for the rest of the class, follow me to the monitor room!" All Might said, as the two "Villains" enter the building, studying the map as they go to the Warhead and readying up.

"So, Monkey. Do you really think that Deku has a Quirk?" Katsuki asked Goku.
"I'd say so! Though he seriously needs to get better with it," Goku replied. His partner scoffed.
"Whatever. Don't hold back like you did yesterday, or else I will personally pile drive you into the ground."
"I made a promise that I wouldn't, Bakugou, but we should strategize and not just rush in. Midoriya's seriously smart."
"That damn nerd... He won't win against either of us. Not if I take him out first!"
"On your mark! Set! And begin!" All Might called. The blonde bomber immediately tries to leave.

"Bakugou, stop! We're supposed to defend the bomb!" Goku protested. He knew it would be mostly ineffective, but he had to try to get him to stop.
"Shut it! I am going to deal with Deku, and no one's gonna stop me!" Katsuki shouted back. He leaves to launch his sneak attack on the Heroes.

Goku sighs in resignation, waits in the room, closing his eyes and enhancing his senses as he tries to gauge where the Heroes are. He starts to feel three additional presences, ripples of an otherwise silent lake. What an unusual sensation, but he thinks that the two slowly moving are Izuku and Ochako, while the one intersecting...
Soon, he starts to hear a fight downstairs, he focuses immediately as he gets into a fighting stance, before trying to focus harder, getting a clearer picture on what his opponent is doing. His hearing and his sensing abilities picked up faint footsteps, as he then hatches a rather unorthodox plot to catch whomever will come in.

That one was Ochako, who stationed herself just shy of the doorway and spied on Goku.

"Mmm... 'Son Goku, the Monkey Villain' doesn't have the same ring to it..." Goku muses to himself, before trying a villainous laugh. It sounded ridiculously dorky. However, he then hears a soft giggling near the entrance of the bomb room and immediately dashes to the entrance!
"Ha HA!" Goku exclaimed. Faster than the gravity girl could blink, she felt a piece of tape wrapped around her wrists as he stands over her, she shrieked at the ridiculous speed of her opponent.

"Yikes, y-you were fast!" Ochako said in embarrassment, tugging her wrists. They were bound well enough she can't slip them off.
"Ochako Uraraka was captured by Son Goku! One more capture by the Villain Team and the Villains will win, with thirteen minutes still left on the clock!" All Might announced.
"Sorry, Uraraka... but you gotta be more quiet!" Goku said sheepishly, as he starts hearing the battle coming up to the next floor, the captured Hero sitting down.

During the brief scuffle upstairs, downstairs, Katsuki and Izuku had their duel.

"I've finally got you in my sights, Deku...!" Katsuki flashed a manic grin. "Now to show you the pecking order!" The dead sprint turned to a right hook. Izuku did indeed pick up on it, sidestepping out of the wild fist before laying him out on a Judo throw! He was shocked, why was this deku able to dodge his strike? However, getting up, he saw not a dummy standing before him, but eyes steeled with determination as he gave his opponent a glare.
"Kacchan... I knew you'd throw that right hook to start it off... I know your general fighting style, too. You're a street fighter, who uses unrelenting strength in their punches." Izuku spoke on, as his opponent's glare turned to a Kubrick Stare. However, Midoriya shifts into a fighting stance.

"I know all that about you, because of my notebook you threw into the fountain back in Aldera. I wrote it all down because you'd make an amazing Pro!" He declared. "Finally, I will no longer be your deku! I will be the Deku that will never give up!"
"It's high time you go back to where you belong, Deku... under my feet!" The blonde bomber went in, angrier than he had started. However, to his nasty surprise, his green haired opponent seemed to have been moving faster to evade his attacks. It is not a Quirkless Midoriya speed... And when a kick lands its mark on Katsuki's ribs, pain cascade throughout his body as he skids back! His glare was more venomous.

"How?! Have you been truly holding back on me this entire time, Deku?! Why are you suddenly much faster and stronger?!" he starts ranting like a mad dog. Izuku shot another glare back to his opponent.
"Son Goku realized something about me that I didn't think about. The truth, Kacchan, is that my Quirk would have either broken my bones to get it to work or not work at all. However, last night, I had realized I was entirely wrong in my understandings of it. And I found out how to use it." As the words of this useless Deku infiltrated the "villain's" mind, it broke all logic. Something's not right, and he's going to get to the bottom of it...!

"You forgot, Deku! Even if you're a shitting late bloomer and with your creepy observations, you're still below me!" He yells, trying to attack. Recalling about what he had written about Son Goku, speaking on how his eyes analyzed absolutely everything about the way peoples' bodies moved, Izuku kept his eyes on Katsuki's, his robotic movement easily allowing him to predict and kick his assailant back. This might be the final one where he'll be that easily telegraphed. Feeling no choice, the mad dog blonde pulls back, grinning like a maniac as he gives one more taunt.
"You think these grenades are for show, Deku?! Think again! Normally, I couldn't even think about making my explosions this big. However, with these gauntlets, I can make them as big as I need!" He had raised his grenade gauntlets, one finger close to the pin.

In the monitoring room, the students gasped in horror.

"Holy shit, he wouldn't...!?" the purple haired girl with ear jacks, Kyoka Jiro, gasped out.
"I'm afraid so, Jiro..." Momo quietly uttered in reply in the earjack girl's direction. "He's seriously going to do something potentially destructive just to incapacitate Midoriya...!"
"That crazy son of a bitch! That'll kill him if those gauntlets are full!" Denki Kaminari, the yellow-haired kid, yelled in utter disbelief.
"Sensei, we need to stop this exercise now or else Midoriya might be seriously injured!" Tenya shouted. All Might, feeling a horrible pit in his stomach, he soon started to press the button, ready to tell his student to stop. However, right in front of their eyes, they saw Izuku lunge forward, landing a powerful roundhouse kick to his opponent's gut, knocking the wind out of him as he knelt down in pain, followed by a judo throw to disorient! That pit disappeared, as a great smile formed from his face!

"You will be great, Kacchan. However, you've lost this time," the green-haired victor said, firm as he wraps the capture tape around Bakugou's wrists, he couldn't believe what the Hell had happened. Unnecessary, to be frank, but it was to signify his victory. The kids had finally sighed a breath of relief. However, there were two loud cheers.

"Holy crap, that was manly as Hell, Midoriya!" Eijiro Kirishima yelled, tearing up as he had a grin from cheek to cheek.
"You go, Midori! Show them who's boss!" Mina Ashido cheered on.

"Katsuki Bakugou's been captured by the Heroes! Or rather, Hero! It's down to one each, with eleven minutes left!" Goku went to the lower floor, blocking the way upstairs, as his opponent finally entered his field of vision. No Katsuki? Guess that meant he actually did it and defeated his partner!

"Hey, Midoriya! Good job on defeating Bakugou!" Goku said, before he assumes his fighting stance. "Now you'll have face me!"

"Looks like it, Son Goku! I'm ready for you!" He approaches his opponent with an odd sense of confidence, the two starting their fight.

Goku's quick strikes took Izuku by surprise initially, but he started to use a fraction of his power in his arms to block, with a kick sending Goku back. His fighting spirit's invigorated upon seeing his enemy's improvement.

"No wonder why you were able to defeat Bakugou! You're starting to get into your Quirk!" The Saiyan said in his enthusiasm, he feels confident in his opponent's ability. The two continued their fight, and while Goku had held back power, he wasn't going to hold back speed. His strikes landed true on Izuku, causing him to stagger, but as the green-haired teen started to fight more seriously, he was able to overpower Goku's strikes, with a powerful uppercut sending him into the staircase.

"Heheh! Looks like I won't have to hold back nearly as much as I thought!" He delightfully said, getting up as he started to focus.

Despite the 5% attacks, Goku eventually catches one of Izuku's fists and throws him off-guard, before a blow to the back of his opponent's knee followed by a heel kick sends him skidding across the ground. Even with the hits landing on the Saiyan, he was too strong and too fast to face off against in a fair battle. Before he could capitalize on the opportunity, the green-haired teen fled into the hallways, with Goku following soon after. In hindsight, trying to follow a person he had knocked back was idiotic, but the thrill of the fight was too much. But he had lost Izuku, and when he was trying to focus to sense his opponent's position, this was when he decided to strike. Cranking up from five to eight percent, he lands a powerful punch on Goku's gut, knocking the wind out of him and stunning him in pain! However, his arm now starts to feel inflamed from One For All's recoil.

"H-Heh... good one, Midoriya..." Goku said, a grin forming on his face as he struggles to get up.
"Sorry, Son Goku, but you're just as incredible as Kacchan..." Izuku replied, panting. "You're incredible in a much different way, though... You've inspired me to really go beyond!"
"I've enjoyed our fight, but I don't intend on giving up!" The Saiyan finally got up and returns to his stance. "Give it all you got!"
"I wouldn't have expected any other response, Son-san!" His opponent readies up a punch. However, the internal control that Izuku had exhibited had disappeared, and inadvertedly, is going 100% again.

All Might's face lit up as he tries to call off the attack. "Young Midoriya, please stop that attack!" he cried, but it was no use.

With the punch going fast, Goku only had the opportunity to block with just his right arm. The attack lands, and whatever ecstasy was in the green-haired boy's eyes turned to horror and worry, while the Saiyan's arm was noticeably reddened by the stress of the attack. The attack lands full force, as Goku was launched through multiple walls and both their arms were broken: Goku's right and Izuku's left. The building trembled in fear from the maelstrom of winds going through the building, but it soon was able to stabilize as soon as the gales escaped.

"Ye-ow! That's smarts!" Goku said as he looked at his own arm uselessly dangling, before getting up with his one usable arm and legs. "Heh... I should have dodged that one...!" After approaching his now unconscious opponent, he uses another piece of Capture Tape on his opponent's good arm. He was barely able to keep himself conscious with all that pain in his arm.

The monitoring room was dead silent for a brief moment. No one could have anticipated the fight going like that. Hell, they could hardly believe that Goku was still standing, even with his arm dangling like that...!

"T-The winner's the Villain Team: Goku and Bakugou!" All Might chimes with a stutter. The students looked on as they saw the replays, with Momo analyzing them.
"So, each member of the teams had one major injury on both sides. The yin to the yang, in an eternal struggle." Tokoyami stated dramatically.
"It's just an exercise," Asui said simply.
"I'll be right back! As soon as Young Bakugou and Young Uraraka are back, we'll discuss the match!" He excused himself.

In the building, Goku went up and undid Uraraka's bindings. She was saddened to see his arm dangling, but with a bit of regret in his eyes, she knows what had happened.
"I'm sorry. I got a bit too excited seeing Midoriya putting up a good fight. He's getting closer to realizing his Quirk, then we got a bit too into the fight," Goku said.
"I know you wouldn't mean him really bad harm, Goku-kun," Uraraka replied. "I can only hope you both can recover before the end of the day!"
The two soon see two sets of stretcher bots, a Bakugou whose pride had been afflicted, and All Might.
"Young Son, you had done well. However, I just hope the broken arm is a valuable lesson you can learn from, that not all attacks could be blocked!" All Might said, with the Saiyan nodding. "Now, just lay on the stretcher and rest up. Young Uraraka, Young Bakugou, we'll be heading back."
Goku laid onto the stretcher, as the bots secured his arm, hissing in pain as it's maneuvered to make sure it won't fall out of place.

All Might returns with the two students, with Bakugou internally processing his defeat, and Uraraka a bit ashamed for having been captured so early.
"So, of the four characters in our battle here, who was the MVP?" All Might asks. Everyone was clamoring, though it was cut short with precise words.

"Ochako Uraraka is the most obvious answer if we're talking about the time frame this battle took place, in addition to the timeframe after the battle," Momo replies immediately, the class shocked, because many had expected Son Goku. "However, everyone here had their flaws. Bakugou went in to fight Midoriya by himself in a blind rage, even when he was in a prime position to block both him and Uraraka, allowing their diversion tactic to work. Not only that, but his gauntlet attack was at risk to destroying or severely compromising the structure integrity of the building, not to say anything about Midoriya's condition if the attack connected. It's obvious that he has a vendetta against his opponent that granted him tunnel vision. Uraraka had the right idea, splitting up to cover more ground and to scout where the bomb could be located, but she compromised her position by Son tricking her with some kind of dialogue. Midoriya was able to apprehend Bakugou, but he had met his match against Son, and when that punch was blocked, it caused him to fall unconscious soon after, badly injuring himself in the progress and caused property damage. Son had apprehended Uraraka, and he was able to block the staircase leading to the upper floors, but in the same way, he badly injured himself against Midoriya, due to his carelessness. In the real world, Son would be at the mercy of any reinforcement Police Force or Pro Heroes due to his injury reducing his efficiency as a Villain, and as the Pro directly responsible for any damages, Midoriya would have to pay expenses in addition to any medical bills he would accumulate. While her early capture was embarrassing, Uraraka was unharmed, and when freed by the other Pros or the Police Force, she is the one truly capable in addressing the public and put them at ease."

The students just looked at Momo, mainly confused and some with horror on just how thorough she was on the analysis. Ochako's eyes lit up as she looked at Momo, shocked she would say that, to which the black-haired girl simply nodded while looking at her.

"Exactly the way I was thinking, Young Yaoyorozu!" All Might said. "Holy moly, you dissected everything in that battle like it was a frog! At least give the other students' a shot at describing the events, though that exceedingly bright mind was why you were recommended in the first place!" he thought to himself.

-Subchapter 2: The Aftermath and Aftershock of an Explosive Final Punch-

Back on the shores of Takobah, Izuku was moving garbage from the beach in a rushed bid to get his body acclimated to One For All's energies. However, he had stopped when he spotted his teacher staring down the street, towards a black and spiky haired kid with a brown tail. He had noted that he had anklets and wristbands.

"All Might, what's wrong?" Izuku asked, as he stopped his training. His teacher gave him a hairy eye.
"Young Midoriya, please continue your training!" He ordered, but he was thinking back on that kid. That white tee, the faded blue jeans and rather normal shoes. Yet, something about him felt... off, or otherworldly. With his quick glance into the kid's eye, he didn't see just any other kid, he saw someone who was well versed in many branches of martial arts, augmenting his own innate strength and speed with technique. If he's seriously going to be attending UA, he may be a force to be reckoned with. Then, looking back at his pupil, he thought back to when Nana Shimura, his master, trained him to handle One For All.

In specific, she had taught him Judo and American Boxing to supplement his bodybuilding exercises. When he had asked why? She had replied that the first time she had used One For All, she felt her muscles being tense after using 100%. Toshinori himself realized that his attempts at using One For All nearly made his own muscles crush his bones. He had remembered a younger Recovery Girl scolding him for his hairline fractures. He needs to minimize the damage Young Midoriya will gain from using One For All.

"Wait, you're gonna teach me some martial arts? Wouldn't your Smashes work well solo?" Izuku asked, his teacher laughing.
"Ah, a child's naivete is always so precious to see. Back in my day, being a Pro Hero meant being well-versed in the martial arts, Young Midoriya! My master taught me two martial arts to get myself by until I can fully realize One For All for myself: Judo and American Boxing!" All Might beamed. "I was actually picking up some Kickboxing on the side, but it fell to the wayside when my Smashes became a 'Smash' Hit!"
"T-That makes sense... American Boxing has straightforward punches, but with amazing speed and agility, it could even give a Karate Master trouble. Combined with Judo to mitigate the style's weakness to grapples..." the student was mumbling.

"Young Midoriya, focus! There's a second reason to teaching you those martial arts, in addition to Kickboxing. When I first used One For All, my muscles were so tight after using an attack like that, I had accumulated hairline fractures within my arms! My master had muscle inflammation in her arms when she did her first Smash attack as well! And, if you were to use a Smash attack like me or my master..."
"My bones would shatter..." Izuku was horrified, as All Might gave a grim nod.
"Indeed. However, if I can get the basics of Judo and Kickboxing in you, you might be able to adapt to One For All for yourself! After you've rested up from today's training, we will get started on your martial arts lessons!" He boomed, the green haired boy nodded like the fanboy he is.

The memories soon faded back into darkness. Soon, Izuku had woken up in his bed, as he looked towards Goku. Leaning forward, the two saw an old lady. She frowned upon seeing them look at her, not happy that they were injured pretty badly.

"You are still much too reckless in your usage of your Quirk, Midoriya. Almost no doubt Toshinori not giving you the best piece of wisdom," she scolds her patient, kissing Izuku's wound.
"S-sorry, Recovery Girl..." he grimaced, the woman's glare hitting the Saiyan's eyes as he felt petrified.
"The same goes for you, Son. Even though you are a strong youth, you cannot just go and get carried away with your powers if they cause you to get this badly injured!" She says as she kisses Goku's wound. "If this will be recurring, then you will simply drain your own stamina and die."
"O-ow! Sorry..." Goku yelped.
"Now rest up, you two. You'll both be up and ready in a few hours," She commanded, the two rest in their hospital beds.

After a while, All Might comes in, in his true emancipated form as he starts talking with Recovery Girl. As they argue, Goku's ear twitches as he hears the conversation.
"...Ah, I see that Young Midoriya and Young Son are resting well."
"No thanks to you, Toshinori. Those kids are absolutely reckless, exactly like you were when you came to me the first time..."
"I-I'm trying my best to get Young Midoriya more acclimated to One for A-"
"Don't say that in front of Son. He may be out, but he's healing much faster than Midoriya. Already, his arm had come back together, such that he wouldn't even need a sling when he comes to. And the last thing you or I want is for him to know about your condition. Need I repeat myself?"
"You made your point, Recovery Girl."
"Good, I'll tend to them still, but you better teach your boy well."

Sooner rather than later, Izuku and Goku were discharged and allowed to go back to class. However, all Goku had was a compression sleeve over his injured arm while Izuku has a wrapped cast arm in a sling.

"Hey, Midori! Goku!" Mina chimed. "I'm Mina, and that was an amazing fight! I just hope you both recovered!"
"Ejiro Kirishima's the name, and we were just talking about all our exercises!" Ejiro introduced himself.
"Yeah, I'm fine. The battle was exhilarating and I couldn't be any prouder of Midoriya for that!" Goku said cheerfully, looking at Izuku.
"Thank you for the fight, Son. However, I need to find Kac- err, I meant, Katsuki. You know where I can find him?" he asked
"I wouldn't go looking for him at the moment if I were you, ribbit. I'm Asui Tsuyu, by the way, but just call me 'Tsu'," Asui said. "He's pretty angry that he lost to you, even if you lost to Son. He stormed out the instant the bell rang."
However, the green-haired teen went after his former childhood friend anyways.

Goku remained behind, instead looking at Momo with curiosity. There's some kind of deep fire inside her, like there was some potential yet untapped that draws him closer.
"Hmm? Is there something bothering you, Son Goku?" Momo asked him, her head tilted a bit.
"Man, I missed your match!" he commented. "I bet you did well!" Hearing this gives her a small smile.
"Thank you for your kind comments. It pains me to say it because he was mumbling about some perverted antic, but Mineta was actually the one that caught them with his Quirk, as I wrapped the Capture Tape around them afterwards. That being said, I also gave him some insulated rubber so that he would resist Kaminari's Electricity Quirk and I guarded the warhead with a wooden bo against Shoji, so it's a team effort," she replies.
"I hope I can fight you one day! You sound like you're such a good opponent!" he says with great enthusiasm.
"I don't think I can match your martial arts skill, though. I can barely keep up with your fight with Midoriya!" she replied, doubting herself.
"Aw, c'mon! You're better than that, I believe in you!" he scoffed at her self-depreciation.
"You really think so?" she asked with a hint of disbelief. Goku nods with gusto.
"Yeah! If you were able to beat someone with an Electrical Quirk, I believe you can rival me!" He said pridefully. She was at a loss of words, why was he saying that she'd rival him when he was able to match Midoriya's strength and Tenya's speed?
"I... I don't think I can ever be at your level, but I'll train to be better!" Momo declared in a bashful way, he was smiling brightly as he sees her confidence climbing!
"Sorry, but I gotta go after Midoriya! I promised I'd help him with his Quirk! See you around, Yaoyorozu!" He said, dashing out of the class as she gingerly waves goodbye to him.

It felt like a weird omen. She knew she could spar, as her parents allowed her to take kung fu casually and bojutsu, but she was not nearly as ready as she was when she had fought Shoji. It felt like a miracle she was able to keep him at bay until Mineta immobilized him. Yet, this kid who, as she knew, punched out robots with his bare hands and was able to endure an attack similar to All Might's famous Smashes was telling her that she could rival him? Maybe she should take some additional martial arts classes for herself? She'll think about it later. In the meanwhile, she simply looks as Tenya is scolding Tokoyami for sitting on the desk.

Just outside, the two had argued. And while Goku hadn't heard much of it, he was near the tail-end of their conversation.

"Midoriya! I'm glad you got to training on your Quirk's power!" Goku said.
"Your power was quite impressive. And thanks for talking about power control with me yesterday. I can now use my Quirk without hurting myself too badly! Well... as long as I keep my focus. Sorry about that Smash, I lost control there."
"Heheh, it was useful advice, wasn't it? However, I still see your arms only moving at your limits, and your legs and torso move much slower. When I fight and I need to lower my power output, I breathe in my nose and out my mouth as I concentrate on my opponent! Then, my power just kinda surrounds me like a body tracking suit, ya know?" Goku pressed on, not even registering the focus part. His friend paused and thought about it.
"You suggest that I try to envelop myself in my Quirk's energy at my current limits?" He asked. "...That makes sense, since then I'd be able to have it flow through my body, then I'll be able to move without having to switch parts. Adapt it into my life... And just live with it always on...!"
"There we go!" the monkey-tailed teen exclaimed. "It won't be easy, since it took a while before I could control my power. And as you now know, sometimes you just gotta focus and pace yourself!"
"Yeah. I should write that down when I get home. 'Concentration is essential for control'... See you tomorrow, Son Goku!" Izuku waved.
"Yeah, see ya Midoriya!" Goku waved as he went home.

Elsewhere, in a bar deep within Downtown Kamino, a dark shadow looked at a newspaper about All Might becoming a teacher, the figure smiling with malice behind a hand on his face.
"This 'Symbol of Peace'... Reduced to being a simple teacher. What a fall of grace for being a cool boss fight. Perhaps snuffing that hopeful flame out will be a level up for those brats," the Villain spoke, with a callous attitude.
"Thanks to our mole on the inside, we will know just where we'll strike, Young Master. It's just a matter of building up your attack force," A black-misted figure replied.
"That's no problem. Sensei had already gathered an entourage of fanboys that are willing to follow his every whim," he said, chuckling. "We are ready when they are...!"

AN: I did a dumb thing and didn't elaborate on how Midoriya got taught his martial arts back in Chapter 1. However, I elected to give him a flashback sequence where All Might, rather than throwing Midoriya completely into the deep end, gave Midoriya some martial arts lessons after realizing that, no, having your protege break his own arms using One For All would not do him well. He'll still break his arm and use 100% Smashes, but that'd be when he isn't concentrating hard enough.

Also, just realized that I misremembered that part. Originally, the match Momo was a part in was with Kaminari and Jirou. Instead, I had it so she fought Kaminari and Shoji. Maybe it's for the best, since there's less Mineta being a creeper and actually give him more Cowardly Lion moments, so he's less of a dingus...?
