I feel like I need to explain something about the chosen pairing. Arthur is trying to figure out a way to free Narcissa. He will figure it out in this chapter. Narcissa will not stay as an adult because she will be de-aged to his physical age. Then she will be blood adopted by Hosea Matthews. She will change in looks and will be given a new name. I have seen many fics where young Harry gets paired with older women. But I was never planning on Arthur being that way. I set the path for them to meet and begin a friendship I never said that she would stay in her adult body.

Chapter 7: Summer and Freedom

Summer had just begun and Arthur had found himself in the highlands. Hosea had decided that they would start there then move on. It was nightime and Arthur could see the vast expanse of night sky. The stars were bright and beautiful as he mentally traced every constellation he knew. His mind working over time as he tried to figure out how to free Narcissa. He liked her and didn't want to see her suffering anymore than she already was. And then it hit him like a ton of bricks. "Severus do you think you could brew a potion that could de-age someone?" He asked the dour man that was with them. Hosea had looked at him no doubt wondering what he was planning.

Severus furrowed his brows as he looked at the fire that they all sat around. "I could yes but why would you need it?" He asked Arthur as his dark eyes narrowed. "If we could de-age Narcissa and have Hosea blood adopt her. She could live without looking over her shoulders. Give her a new name and no one will ever realize who she was." He explained to both men as he did his best to ignore the fact that he wasn't old enough to smoke. Hosea looked at Severus and then at Arthur. "You know that could work. Have the Goblins help so they could purge the black blood from her giving her an entirely new life." Hosea had never blood adopted Arthur but he could blood adopt Narcissa. Like Arthur, he didn't want to see that woman suffer the way she is now.

"I could work on the while we are here then make a trip to Gringotts. She could join us for the rest of summer and you could write a letter to Albus about letting her transfer into Hogwarts." Severus said as he used a stick to stoke the fire. Narcissa was his friend and he too wanted to help her get free. They had looked into various ways both during the holidays and throughout the rest of the school year. Nothing else would be able to help her and the goblins had a way to dissolve the marriage without Malfoy being alerted to it. It would be as if Narcissa had died without actually being dead.

Arthur stood up and stretched his arms as yawned. "If we do it soon that gives her this whole summer to get used to being your daughter." He pointed out to Hosea as he smiled a bit. "I'll let you two work the plan and I'll wait in camp. Kuro already knows that once either of you call for him. That is the signal to bring Narcissa to us." He stepped over the log and walked over to his tent. They each had their own wizarding tent which was equipped with the basics. Their food was always freshly caught and cooked over an open fire. "Im headed to bed now but I leave the rest up to you." He told both men before getting into his tent and right into bed where he fell asleep.

- A Week Later -

Danica looked around the camp before she spotted Arthur near his stallion Lucifer. His hat over his face as he laid in the lush grass. She still couldn't believe that they had pulled it off. The process of purging her of her black blood was painful. And the blood adoption did more than just change her. Her entire magical signature was changed as well. Gone was Narcissa Malfoy nee Black, Danica Matthews was reborn as Hosea's daughter. She was now twelve again and able to rediscover who she is. It helped that she was now able to be close to Arthur without there being a huge gap in their age. She had long wavy brown hair and blue eyes that were almost crystal in color. She felt like a brand new person and couldn't help but smile again.

She walked over to Arthur and laid down beside him. "Thank you Arthur for freeing me of that prison." He lifted his hat and turned his head to look at her. "I told you I would find a way to free you. Now you can live the life you want and we'll be there always. We may be small now but loyalty and family is what this gang is about." He sat up and placed his hat back on his head. Leaning back on one hand he watched the clouds float slowly in the sky. "You no longer have to be in the shadows Danica. You're a completely different person now. Freedom is only the beginning of your journey." He looked down at her and winked at her.

She rolled her eyes and got back up before she walked up to Lucifer and began petting him. "Show me your world Arthur. Teach me what you and dad know. Severus is learning from Hosea so I want to learn from you." It wasn't hard for her to get used to her new life. She had always hated being in the Black Family. Hated the expectations that was put on her shoulders. She had hated her marriage to Malfoy and how she had to give him an heir. So this new chance at freedom was ten times better already. And she had someone who was more parental than her previous ones. Hosea was strict but also very kind and genuine. What surprised her the most was that when she did an inheritance test as well as a family tree. She had nothing connecting her to the black family after the adoption. Danica was a totally different person than Narcissa Malfoy.

Arthur stood up and brushed the grass and dirt from his pants. Then took the reigns and got in the saddle. Bending down he held a hand out for Danica. "Grab on and I'll show ya my world. Nothin beats the freedom we have out here in nature." Danica took his hand and he pulled her up to sit behind him. "Hold on tight Danica." She wrapped her arms around his waist and gave it a slight squeeze. And then with a light tap of his spurs they were off. Arthur was happy and willing to show Danica his world. The way an outlaw lives and the freedom to go wherever they pleased.

Shorter than I wanted but the next chapter is the rest of Summer then the start of second year.

Danica is Narcissa who was de-aged, purged of her family blood and blood adopted by Hosea. She is no longer related to Arthur Morgan who hasn't been blood adopted by Hosea. This story is vastly different from the canonverse. Goblins can do more than simply being account managers.

Danica and Arthur will be growing closer as they continue to spend time together. She and him will eventually end up dating but for now they are simply friends. I hope that this puts people at ease. Because I never planned on Narcissa staying as she was while Arthur was physically still young.
