Chapter 11
Miss Lynn sighed as she prepared herself, it was the following day and it was time to put things right. She wasn't sure exactly when Nicole would arrive, but she wanted to be ready to make sure she was in her office to meet with Nicole when she arrived.

Emily smiled lightly as she finished her latest deal, passing off what she'd just sold to Kylar and accepted the money. She noted Crispin waiting nearby, likely looking to score himself. He'd have to get in line, there were three others including Braxton, who were already waiting.

Megan sighed as she checked over her homework one more time, she had to be absolutely certain that she had got it all right, she couldn't let anything slip if she wanted to remain on the honour roll. Kyle sat next to her, smiling lightly as he observed his girlfriend, feeling awkward as the angle allowed him to take note of her cleavage.

Mr. Katz finished arranging the documents on his desk, he was getting fed up with all the drama that was happening. He knew there would no doubt be yet more problems. The Counsellor had even shared his own worries with him, but he never trusted that man.

The Counsellor himself was in his office and looked over Nicole's file again. He was pondering what to do, again and again however, his gaze was drawn to Nicole's photo instead, he couldn't help the smile that came to his face as he did so. He wondered if maybe when Nicole came back, she could 'help' her.

Coach Colby was lost in thought as he got things set up for the first gym class for the day. He was, out of practically all the teachers, the most excited for Nicole's return. If only because he'd finally get the most beautiful girl in school back for his cameras.

Ms. Ames sighed and finished grading the papers of her class, she shook her head and looked out of the window, lost in thought. She had more important things to worry about instead of this Nicole girl coming back. Like making sure only the proper students got to stay at this school.

Mr. Burleday was setting up the equipment for the first science lab of the day, making sure all of it was ready and prepared. He just hoped there would be no incidents in the first class. Regardless he was confused, wondering what exactly was happening regarding Nicole, after hearing of her return, Mr. Lorre had been acting rather twitchy.

Mr. White continued to fix up things for his first class of the day, as he did so, his mind was on other things. The idea of Nicole returning certainly had it's appeal to him too, he could use her as a model for some of his latest photography ventures, she'd be perfect to portray his message, of that he was sure.

Ari and Kelly were both blushing furiously, unable to figure out what to say or do next. Unlike many of the other teachers and students, they weren't thinking much about Nicole and her return. They were both trying to figure out what to say in the aftermath of their mutual confession of their true feelings for each other, unable to lie to each other anymore.

Jecka was a nervous wreck as she paced back and forth, she was in the cafeteria, along for the moment as other students were already making their way around to their classes, but she couldn't focus, couldn't go to class, her mind was rushing too much, as she couldn't help but fret about Nicole, she wouldn't believe everything was right again until Nicole talked to her and told her herself.

Nicole swallowed as she reached the school, she adjusted her clothes as best as she could, trying not to make herself look so terrible. She knew she wasn't exactly tidy, her clothes were rumpled and clearly not clean, but she had no choice. All she cared about was getting this over with and seeing Jecka again.

Mr. Lorre was the only teacher not readying his class, he was in fact pacing around the school, panicking and wondering just how bad things would be. He couldn't believe that Nicole was being brought back, even if she hadn't done that thing with the photos, she still should have been expelled for that picture. But that wasn't the only reason, he was terrified of her revealing the visit he'd paid to her during her time on the streets. That was when he saw, of all people, Jeffrey and wondered why he was here, knowing he was suspended.

Jeffrey glowered as he stalked down the corridor, he couldn't believe this had happened, but it had come to this, he wasn't going to let them get away with this and he was determined to ensure Jecka would pay for her mistake. Seeing Mr. Lorre up ahead he growled and prepared himself, it was time to start fixing things, time for all of them to pay once and for all. With those dark thoughts, and with everything ready, he reached into his pocket and drew out his father's gun.
