Southern Water Tribe Waters
A canoe sailed through the icey waters of the Arctic wasteland as two teens were on the small boat fishing.
They both wear blue parkas that matched their blue eyes.
Both of them had fair yet tanned skin but the girl had her hair plaid with two braids tracing her face whilst the boy had his hair tied into a manbun.
The two siblings, Sokka the brother and Katara the sister, were both from the Southern Water Tribe.
"It's not getting away from me this time..." Sokka began as he poised the spear in his hand to attack the fish that was swimming next to their canoe, which was now still.
"Watch and learn Katara, this is how you catch a fish." He said with a smirk as Katara gave him an unimpressed glance before focusing on another fish that was closer to her end of the boat.
Katara then removed one of the gloves she had on as she moved her bare hand towards the water ominously.
As she grunted in concentration...surprisingly her hand never had to touch the water as she just moved it upwards and the fish was brought to her in a bubble of water.
Waterbending...this was an ability that only she had out of her entire tribe due to...extensive reasons.
"Sokka look!" Katara shouted gleefully as she brought the fish over to the boat using her bending.
"Shush Katara! You're gonna scare the fish away!" Her brother shouted back, completely oblivious to the fact she actually had one hovering over them right now.
"Ohhh! I can smell the fish cooking already!" Sokka exclaimed as he rose his spear up a little, inadvertently knocking Katara's fish back in to the water with the back end of the weapon, much to Katara's dismay.
"Hey!" Katara shouted at him as the water bubble she had created fell apart and soaked Sokka's head.
"Gah! What the heck!" Sokka shouted before he sighed and deadpanned at his sister.
"Why is it that everytime you play with magic water, I get soaked!" Sokka shouted irately.
"It's not magic, it's waterbending, and it's-" Katara is cutoff by her brother's groan.
"Yea, yea whatever! It's an ancient art unique to our culture, blah! Blah! Blah! Look, I'm just saying, if I had weird powers I'd keep my weirdness to myself." Sokka said with a shrug as Katara huffed.
Before she could reply something blue caught her attention...but it wasn't the same blue as the water around them...
"Sokka, I think there's someone in the water..." Katara trailed off as she tried to makeout the writing on the back of the person's clothing.
"What the...why would someone even be in this water unless they wanted to die a chilling death, you think they're Water Tribe?" Sokka questioned with an eyeroll, anyone with common sense wouldn't do something this dumb.
"I don't know...that blue looks a little too light to be Water Tribe blue but..." Katara trailed off.
"But nothing! If whoever that is isn't Water Tribe, we leave em! Besides, that could be a dead body by now anyways." Sokka said as he crossed his arms.
"Come on Sokka! Have a heart, we can't just leave the person out there!" Katara shouted as she began using her Waterbending to bring the individual towards the boat.
"Katara no! What if he's Fire Nation?" Sokka shouted back as Katara finally brought the unconcious body onto the boat.
"Does he look Fire Nation to you?" Katara questioned her brother as they took in the boy's appearance.
His skin was dark...darker than theirs, his hair was weirdly textured to them as even though it was wet it seemingly grew outwards instead of downwards...
"Look at his clothes!" Katara added as she pointed out the odd blue haori the boy wore...definitely not something a Fire Nation member would wear.
"You never know! This could be a Fire Nation spy trick!" Sokka shouted as his sister deadpanned.
"Sok-ack!" Katara exclaimed as they felt the canoe jostle.
They both noticed they had crashed into a piece of ice which sent them into a strong current.
"Woah!" Sokka shouted as he tried to row them out of the current.
"Go left! Go left!" Katara shouted as Sokka tried to do that...but unfortunately the current forced him right and he slammed into another large piece of ice.
The impact caused the boat to be destroyed as the three individuals were flung onto a snowbank.
Geleel
Geleel had slowly started to regain consciousness as everything was still slightly blurry...
His first realization was how cold wherever he was, was.
However, his second realization was two strange voices arguing to his left.
The young Otsutsuki turned to the voices as he noticed it was Katara and Sokka arguing.
"Oh good, you're finally awake." He heard Katara say...he was not familiar with her yet...she turned to him and took a break from arguing with her brother.
"Where the hell am I?" Geleel questioned as he grunted and stood up huskily.
"Oh great, now the weird ocean guy is up, this whole situation is just great!" Sokka shouted as Geleel arched a brow at him.
"Yea well we wouldn't be in this situation if you had steered better!" Katara shouted back.
"Oh you don't like my steering? Well maybe you should've Waterbended us out of the ice, woman." Sokka said with emphasis on the last word.
"So this is my fault?" Katara questioned him.
Geleel watched as their argument intensified, he honestly didn't know what to make of anything right now, he was still trying to figure out where he was, and where the hell was his sister?
"I'm tired of you Sokka! You are the most sexist, immature, nutbrained idiot! I am embarrassed to even be related to you!" Katara shouted irately as water behind her began rising.
Geleel immediately took note of this as did Sokka, they both dawned wary expressions now because as Katara's anger increased so did the level of the water.
"Uh, lady..." Geleel trailed off as Katara continued ranting.
"Ever since mom died, I've been doing all the work around camp while you goof around and pretend to be some big tough soldier!" Katara shouted irately.
"Kata-" She cut Sokka off immediately.
"I even wash all of the clothes! Have you ever smelled your dirty socks? Let me tell you! It is not a pleasant scent!" Katara shouted as the water finally rose too high.
She then turned around with a gasp as the wave fell and pushed the ice berg they were on backwards roughly.
"Oh no!" Sokka yelled out as they all exclaimed.
"Well, this is one way to start off my destiny." Geleel said to himself as the ice berg zipped through the icey water...
Karina
Karina had landed on that ice bank a few hours back...but somehow she was now on some sort of giant ship.
The young girl was bound in chains...chains that were far too weak for someone with her power.
She then started to stir awake as the girl grunted.
Karina then realized her predicament as she quickly looked up.
She noticed two guys dressed in some weird armor.
Karina then turned to the left as she saw an elderly man and a young teen with a nasty scar on his left eye looking at her.
"Ah, you have awok-" The elderly man cuts himself off as Karina easily broke her chains with her chakra infused strength.
"The prisoner is loose!" One of the armored men shouted as he charged at the girl.
Karina swiftly jumped and kicked him in his face.
She then leaped back as more guards entered the fray.
"Fire style:Dragon flame jutsu!" Karina shouted as she sent a giant dragon shaped fireball at the soldiers easily causing them to be downed.
"Stop! She's obviously Fire Nation, stand down!" The scarred boy shouted as the soldiers stood down and Karina remained in a defensive stance.
'Fire Nation? What the hell is this guy talking about? Tch, some way to start my destiny off...imprisoned on some dirty ship, why is it so cold? And where is my idiot of a younger brother?' She mentally shouted, all these questions but no damn answers.
Geleel
The ice berg had finally settled as Geleel stood firm on it due to the fact he infused chakra into his feet.
Katara and Sokka however...were flat on their stomachs.
"Okay Katara, you've gone from weird to freakish." Sokka said with annoyance lacing his tone.
"Wait...I did this?" Katara questioned as she noticed the destruction her bending had caused.
"Whether you believe it or not...yes you did." Geleel said as he arched a brow at her and she beamed at him.
"Hey! Can it spy!" Sokka shouted as Geleel rolled his eyes at him.
"Oh, I'm Katara by the way, this idiot is my brother, Sokka." Katara explained as Geleel smiled, he prepared to introduce himself to them as well.
"Hey! Don't give our names to the spy!" Sokka shouted at his sister as Katara sighed.
Suddenly a blue glow draws all of their attention as Geleel immediately zoned in on it.
It was an ominous glow...coming from the main snow bank which they had just broken off of.
"Woah..." He said to himself as he prepared to go check whatever it was out...he could seemingly make two beings out, a human and...some type of animal?
Geleel then stepped onto the water as Katara and Sokka were shocked to see he could stand on water with the use of his chakra.
"How are you..." Katara trailed off as she stood up and prepared to try whatever Geleel was doing, was he some sort of advanced waterbender?
"Come on, let's go check it out." Geleel said to them as he prepared to run as Sokka held Katara back.
"We don't even know who you are!" Sokka reminded him.
"Oh...Otsutsuki...Geleel Otsutsuki." Geleel replied as he turned and ran across the water towards the glowing object.
"Wow, now that's a real man." Katara said as she got up and began hopping across the different ice bergs to get to the ice bank.
"Real man? He's just an idiot! And why are we following him?" Sokka questioned her as they hopped from platform to platform.
"Because we kindof don't have a choice Sokka." Katara reminded him as they made it to the ice bank and gasped at what they saw.
Geleel was standing in front of the object too in shock...there was a young looking boy staring at them through the ice almost...right next to that large bison like animal.
"We gotta get him out..." Katara trailed off as she grabbed Sokka's club and began banging at the ice.
"Katara no!" Sokka shouted.
"Wait, I got this." Geleel assured Katara as he formed a shadow clone.
The two siblings looked on in complete dumbfoundedness as the clone virtually appeared out of thin air and began helping Geleel form a Rasengan.
"What is this guy...?" Katara questioned silently as they felt the power radiating from the blue orb in the boy's hand.
Geleel then rammed the orb into the ice as it almost immediately shattered causing Katara and Sokka to cover their faces from the brunt of the attack.
When they opened their eyes they noticed a bright light shooting up into the sky as the ice berg was now destroyed due to Geleel's attack.
What the hell was happening today...?
Karina
After "clearing," things up Karina was led to the deck of the battle ship by the scarred boy, who she had learned was called Zuko, and his elderly uncle, Iroh.
She had learned from Zuko that the Avatar, whoever that was, was a threat to the Bending world, and that his father tasked him to find the Avatar in order to regain his honor which he had once lost..
Apparently, Zuko was the prince of the Fire Nation...until he disrespected his father, Firelord Ozai who banished him abruptly.
'So that's what the purpose my father gave us was all about? We have to stop this Avatar? Where the hell is my idiot of a little brother?' Karina questioned herself as she was now atop the deck alongside Zuko and Iroh.
"Woah there hot stuff...nice legs." Karina heard a guard say as her eyes narrowed and she clutched on her sword which she had regained after clearing her name.
"When do they open-ack!" The man exclaimed as Karina moved so quick to pin him against the wall, that she was but a blur to everyone present.
She then pressed her sword against his neck as the man immediately began sweating and everyone present wore wary looks.
"They open the same time I drag my blade across your throat...still want me to open them?" Karina questioned the man as he shook his head meekly.
"Didn't think so...pig." She stated before swiftly moving the sword and walking back over to Iroh and Zuko who had puzzled looks.
"I think I like having her as a part of the crew." Iroh said with a smile towards his nephew.
Before anything else could be said a giant beam of light shot into the sky a few miles away from them.
"Oh boy..." Iroh said we sat down next to a table with a sigh.
"The Avatar..." Zuko said gravely as Karina smirked.
Not only because of the Avatar...but she could sense Geleel's chakra, two birds with one stone, she found her idiotic brother and it would appear killing the Avatar would be an easy bonus.
"Uncle! Do you realize what this means?" Zuko questioned his uncle loudly.
"That I won't get to finish my tea?" Iroh questioned him.
"No! It means my search...is about to come to an end..." Zuko declared as Iroh sighed once more, Karina arched a brow at this, why was the old man so down all of a sudden?
"That light came from an incredibly powerful source, it has to be him!" Zuko shouted as Karina arched a brow, this guy was kinda unstable...
"Or it's just the Celestial lights...we've been down this road before prince Zuko...I don't want you to get excited over nothing...please sit, why don't you enjoy a cup of calming Jasmine tea?" Iroh questioned his nephew who turned around irately.
"I don't need any calming tea! I need to capture the Avatar! Helmsman! Set a course for the light!" Zuko barked out as Iroh sighed once more.
"Would you like some tea, Ms. Otsutsuki?" Iroh questioned the girl as she thought it over.
"You know what...why not." Karina said with a shrug as she took the cup he offered her.
The young Otsutsuki sipped the tea as Iroh smiled brightly at her.
She didn't understand the man...why was he so...nice?
Geleel
Geleel stood in front of the destroyed ice berg as he waited for the figures in them to make a move.
Katara and Sokka stood next to him in utter confusion at the whole situation they were in.
'Okay so he's not a Waterbender...I've never heard of any Waterbenders forming balls of energy or...clones of themselves, what is this guy?' She questioned mentally, unfortunately she was dragged out of her thoughts when the boy that was trapped in the ice stood up, his eyes and the arrow on his head glowed brightly.
"Stop!" Sokka shouted at the boy who still stood shakily.
Before anything else could be said the boy fainted and fell to the ground before them.
Katara then immediately rushed over to the boy, turned him over and held his unconcious body in her arms.
As Katara checked the boy over Sokka nudged his unconcious head with his club.
"Come on dude, he's not even awake." Geleel said as he crossed his arms.
"Hey! We don't know him! Heck, we hardly know YOU, Mr. Otsutsuki." Sokka said with a glare as Geleel rolled his eyes again.
"You have serious trust issues, don't you think if I wanted to harm you guys I would've done it by now?" Geleel questioned Sokka.
The latter thought it over...Geleel did seem pretty powerful...
"So? That's exactly what a spy would say-" Sokka is cutoff as Katara shushes him.
She then turned back to the boy in her arms as he stirred.
His once glowing eyes opened to reveal his regular brown ones.
"Hey..." He said weakly as he looked up at Katara...immediately deciding she was the prettiest girl he'd ever laid eyes on.
"I need to ask you something." The boy said to Katara.
"What is it?" She questioned back.
"Please...come closer..." The boy trailed off as Katara leaned in and Sokka and Geleel unconciously leaned forward aswell.
"Whatever you need..." Katara trailed off as the boy was seemingly on his last breath.
"Will you go penguin sledding with me!" He shouted energetically as evergone around him blanched in shock.
'You've got to be kidding me.' The Juubi said from behind his cage in Geleel's mindscape.
'Tell me about it.' Geleel responded with a shake of his head, what a let down.
"Uh...sure, I'll go penguin sledding with you." Katara said to the boy...still in shock from his weird tone switch.
The bald arrow plated boy then seemingly pushed off the ground with out moving a muscle as Sokka gasped at this.
"Woah..." Geleel said in awe...this guy seemed different from Katara and Sokka...seeing as though he wore a ridiculous amount of yellow and orange and his aura felt...lighter.
"What's going on here?" The bald boy questioned as he looked at the aftermath of Geleel's Rasengan versus the ice.
"You tell us!" Sokka shouted irately.
"How did you get in the ice? And why aren't you dead?" Sokka questioned he poked Aang.
He thought running into Geleel was enough weirdness for today, but this guy was just as weird as the former!
"I'm not sure..." The boy said as he waved Sokka off.
A sudden bisonlike cry drew everyone's attention as they looked up.
The arrowhead then climbed up over the broken ice berg scurriedly.
Geleel leaped after him swiftly as he noticed the boy running up to a giant white bisonlike creature with the same arrows he had on it's head and body as well.
"Appa! Are you alright?" He asked the creature gleefully.
Geleel arched a brow as he noticed the bison was asleep...
"Appa? Wake up buddy!" The bald boy shouted as he began trying to wake his large friend up.
"I'm telling you Katara, these people are aliens! How the hell did baldie not die in that ice! And what's with fro boy jumping 12 feet in the air just now like it was..." The voice of Sokka trailed off as he and Katara walked around to the other side of the ice bank to see Geleel standing before Aang and a giant...bison.
"What the hell?" Sokka shouted for the umpteenth time today.
"Why are you always YELLING." Geleel emphasized the last word.
"Appa you're okayyy." They heard the bald boy sing as the bison had woken up and yawned.
"What is that thing?" Sokka questioned him.
"This is Appa, my flying bison!" The boy shouted as if that was just normal speech.
"Flying...and bison in the same sentence?" Geleel questioned aloud...wow, his father did NOT prepare him and Karina for this...speaking of Karina, he had to find her still.
"You expect me to believe that overgrown fluffball can fly? Puh-leaseeee." Sokka said with a laugh as the boy glared at him.
"We witnessed a guy clone himself today, is that really hard to believe?" Katara questioned her brother.
Before anything else could be said everyone turned to Appa who was seemingly prepared to sneeze.
"Uh-oh..." Geleel trailed off as he, the bald boy and Katara ducked.
Sokka however, was too slow to react as Appa sneezed and sent giant globs of mucus right towards him, effectively smothering him in snot.
The other three stand up as they noticed Sokka groaning in digust as they all chuckled and watched him try to get the snot off.
"Don't worry, it'll wash out." The bald boy said with a smile as Sokka groaned once more.
"So, do you guys live around here?" The un-named boy questioned them all.
"Don't answer that! Did you see that crazy bolt of light? He was probably trying to signal the Fire Navy." Sokka said gravely as Katara sighed.
"The Fire Navy? What is that?" Geleel questioned as Sokka eyed him suspiciously, how the heck did he not know about the Fire Navy? They were the most famous threat to the Elemental nations.
"I'll fill you in later Geleel, anyways, the paranoid one is my brother, Sokka, you never told us your name." Katara said to the bald boy.
"Oh! I'm A-aaa...aaa..." The bald boy stammered as he was seemingly about to sneeze.
The other three teens covered their faces expectantly.
Right as he lets out a hearty sneeze, nothing but wind rushed out of his nose with a strong force as he flew high into the sky.
"Woah...that was awesome." Geleel said as the boy came back down the ground.
"I'm Aang!" He declared as he wiped his nose with the back of his hand.
"So...you can leap 12 feet into the air with ease...and you just sneezed...and flew 10 feet in the air?" Sokka shouted as he pointed at Geleel and Aang simultaneously.
"I can actually jump higher." The young Otsutsuki said with a shrug as Sokka blanched at that.
"That was only 10 feet? Wow, seemed higher than that to me." Aang said in thought.
"You're an Airbender!" Katara shouted with a gasp.
'Ahh, this all makes sense now, it's called the bending nations because people here bend the elements...hm, guess not all people considering loudmouth here doesn't.' Geleel said as he eyed Sokka.
"Giant lightbeams, flying bison, Airbenders, guys who can clone themselves...yea I'm just gonna go ahead and go home to where stuff makes...sense." Sokka said gravely as he turned to realize there was no way to get home without a boat due their canoe being destroyed.
"Yea, good luck with that Mr. Warrior." Geleel said as he crossed his arms.
"Hey, if you guys are stuck, Appa and I can give you all a lift." Aang said as he leaped onto Appa's head in one bound.
"Now I like that idea way more." Geleel said as he leaped onto Appa's saddle.
"We'd love a ride! And maybe on the way home Geleel can tell us about his abilities!" Katara exclaimed as Geleel chuckled sheepishly.
"Right..." He trailed off...how the heck was he supposed to tell them he was some sort of powerful half human half Sage Ninja God and his father was an alien God named Hagoromo Otsutsuki.
'Wait till you have to tell them about me.' The Juubi said with a laugh.
'Shutup!' Geleel exclaimed irately, damned wolf almost never talked but always seemed to talk at the worst possible times.
"No Katara!" Sokka shouted as he tried to stop his sister from climbing onto Appa to no avail.
"Oh no, I am NOT getting on that fluffy snot monster." Sokka said as they deadpanned at him.
"Are you hoping some other kind of monster will come along and give you a ride home? Ya know, before you freeze to death." Katara said bitingly as Geleel and Aang snickered at his expense.
"Well! Uh..." Sokka trailed off before sighing.
It was not long after he found himself seated right next to Katara and Geleel as Aang sat on Appa's head and held the reins that protruded from the bison's mouth.
"Okay! First time flyers holdon tight! Appa, yip yip!" Aang shouted as he snapped the reins.
Appa then let out a tired groan as he lazily lept into the air.
They were seemingly suspended in the air for a moment...but ultimately the giant bison fell right into the frigid water below and began swimming instead.
"Come on Appa...yip yip." Aang urged the bison to fly...but the latter just wouldn't budge.
"Wow...that was truly amazing." Sokka said as Katara glared at him.
"Hater." Geleel said with a deadpan towards Sokka.
"Hey, I just call it how I see it." Sokka said with a shrug.
"Appa's just tired! A little rest and he'll be soaring through the sky, you'll see." Aang assured Sokka who rolled his eyes.
"This guy." Geleel said as he shook his head and then laid it back.
Despite everything that was going on...finding out about benders, a giant bison, two water tribe kids and a bald Airbender...wondering where his sister was...Geleel found himself quickly succumbing to sleep due to fatigue from his dimensional travel and the fact he was in that cold frigid water for quite a bit of time.
Later
Geleel was now sound asleep in some hut as he was oblivious to the fact he was there in the first place.
"Geleel, are you up?" The voice of Katara questioned as Geleel stirred awake and sat up right as she entered the room.
He quickly took note of the fact he didn't have his haori on anymore but was instead only in his pants and his thin metal fishnet armor.
Geleel then looked over at Katara who had his haori folded in one hand and his headband in her other hand.
"Your clothes were drenched in ice cold water so we decided to take them off and dry them for you." Katara said as she handed Geleel his haori.
As the young Otsutsuki put his haori back on he noticed Katara examining his headband and the Otsutsuki symbol on it.
"What's this symbol for Geleel?" She questioned him, he hesitated before answering, he didn't want to lie but he also didn't want to reveal too much.
"It's just the symbol of my clan...my family, the Otsutsuki clan, when you wear that headband as a member of my clan you are considered very powerful." Geleel explained as Katara beamed at this.
"So your clan, there are more people that can do the things you do?" Katara questioned him as she handed him the headband.
"Sure, you can say that." Geleel said as he tied the headband back onto his head.
"Hm, alright, good enough, now let's go introduce you and Aang to the village!" Katara shouted as she grabbed his hand and began dragging him to the center of her village where Aang and Sokka stood in front of a large group of adults and children.
Wait, village? How and when the hell did he get here?
"Okay, entire village, meet Aang and Geleel Otsutsuki, Aang and Geleel meet the entire village." Katara said as the entire village stared at the two beings dumbfoundedly.
"Why are they looking at us like that? Did Appa sneeze on me again?" Aang questioned frantically.
"Well no one has seen an Airbender in a hundred years, we'd thought they were extinct." An elderly woman with a distinct resemblance to Katara informed Aang.
"Woah." Geleel said in disbelief, Aang could very well be the last Airbender alive and not even know it.
"Extinct?" Aang questioned warily.
"Aang, Geleel, this is my grandmother." Katara introduced them to the woman.
"Call me Gran-Gran." Gran-Gran urged them.
"It's a pleasure to meet you granny." Geleel said as Gran-Gran eyed him.
"Ah yes you, the mystery boy, my grandkids told me you have the ability to clone yourself?" Gran-Gran questioned him.
"Well-" Before Geleel could offer her an explanation Sokka walked up to Aang and snatched the brown staff he had in his hand away.
"What is this? A weapon? You can't stab anyone with this!" Sokka yelled as he detested Aang's staff.
"It's not for stabbing...it's for Airbending." Aang said as he took the staff back and spread the polyester wings that were hidden on it out causing everyone to gasp in shock.
"Magic trick! Do it again!" A little girl shouted.
"Not magic! Airbending, it lets me control the air currents around my glider and fly!" Aang shouted gleefully.
"You know, last I checked, humans can't fly!" Sokka shouted.
"Yea well humans aren't supposed to clone themselves either, yet here we are." Katara said as she gestured towards Geleel.
"That's different! He's a weirdo!" Sokka shouted as Geleel eyed him, he should be the last one calling anyone a weirdo.
"But I know for a FACT, humans cannot fly." Sokka said as he crossed his arms.
"Might wanna recheck those facts..." Aang trailed off before he zipped into the sky with the glider.
Everyone watched in awe as he flew through the air.
"Woo! Yea!" Aang cheered as he forgot to focus on what was in front of him.
Suddenly his head collides with a snowy wall causing him to grunt in pain.
Everyone that was watching had wide eyes as Aang fell to the ground after colliding with the poorly built snow structure.
"No...my watch tower!" Sokka shouted in anguish.
Katara ran over to Aang as she was followed by Geleel and all of the excited children.
"That was amazing!" Katara shouted as she helped Aang to his feet.
Sokka runs over to his watch tower as he inspected it.
Geleel smiled at this all, it was so nice seeing the little village so happy because of Aang's bending.
Suddenly the young Otsutsuki felt a little thug on his haori as he looked down to see a young water tribe boy.
"Hey mister Geleel, can you show us your clone trick now?" He questioned as Geleel smirked whilst putting his fingers into the cross symbol.
"Shadow clone jutsu!" He shouted, four clones poofed into existence.
"Woooooahhhh." The entire crowd, even the adults and Gran-Gran were impressed.
"Amazing!" A woman shouted.
"That's not all...transformation jutsu!" Geleel shouted as his clones all poofed into his new friends.
Katara gasped as one of the clones turned into her.
"Woah...I always wanted a sister!" She shouted gleefully.
Aang began trying to mimick the clone that portrayed him as everyone laughed at this spectacle.
The clone that transformed into Sokka, walked up to him.
"Woah, am I always this handsome?" Sokka questioned smugly.
"Hi, I'm Sokka, and I'm an idiot!" The clone shouted as everyone laughed heartily.
Sokka growled begrudgingly as swung a punch at the clone who ducked under, causing him to accidentally hit his watchtower and make snow fall onto him and the clone who poofed away.
Sokka deadpanned at everyone as all of their laughs intensified.
"I love the new people!" A kid shouted as Geleel dispelled the jutsu.
"Great, Aang's an Airbender, Geleel is a crazy weirdo with mystical powers and Katara's a Waterbender, you can all go waste time together!" Sokka shouted as he got out of the snow and stormed off.
"You're a Waterbender?" Aang questioned Katara gleefully.
"Well...sortof, not yet, I'm in trainin-" Katara is cutoff by her grandmother.
"Alright, enough playing, come on Katara, you have chores." Gran-Gran said as she led her granddaughter away from the crowd.
Karina
Karina sat next to Iroh and watched as the latter instructed his nephew's Firebending training.
They'd all agree that if anyone but the three of them asked, Karina was a Firebender, but she'd already explained to them that she was not a bender at all.
Chakra was the reason she was so powerful, she even explained her Sharingan to them.
"So, Firebending doesn't require handsigns or chakra like my jutsus, but rather a strong connection to one's chi instead?" Karina questioned Iroh.
"That is correct my dear, you are catching on rather quickly." Iroh said as he zoned in on Zuko who wildly shot a fireball at his instructor.
The old man sighed and stood up, he did not like what he was seeing at all.
"No, do it over! Power in Firebending comes from the breath! Not the muscles...the breath let's you build energy, it extends past your limbs and becomes...fire!" Iroh shouted as he sent out his own, more powerful and coordinated fireball.
"Wow." Karina said, his was definitely more impressive.
"Do you get it, prince Zuko?" Iroh questioned him.
"Enough! I've been drilling this set all day! Teach me the next set." Zuko demanded of his uncle.
"No! You are far too impatient! You have yet to master your basics." Iroh said as he sat down.
"Drill it again!" Iroh shouted as Karina noticed Zuko was staring to fume, the dude's anger issues were understandable but...damn.
"The sages tell us that the Avatar is the last Airbender, he must be over a hundred years old by now, he's had a century to master the four elements..." Zuko began as Karina arched a brow.
'So father sent us here to take down an old man? I don't think this is right...' She mentally trailed off.
"I'll need more than basic Firebending to defeat him...you WILL teach me the advanced set." Zuko said as he irately shouted into his uncle's face...much to the latter's discontinent.
"Very well nephew...but first, I must finish my roast duck." Iroh said as he pulled out a bowl of roasted duck and began devouring it.
Zuko fumed at the man and walked off.
"Would you like some?" Iroh questioned as he offered Karina some with his used chopsticks.
"I'll pass on this one...but I think it's my turn to do some training...and I am in the mood to fry up some...smartmouthed perverts." Karina said as she activated her Sharingan and stared into the soul of the pervert who hit on her earlier.
"Please no..." The man begged weakly as Karina charged at him.
Geleel
Geleel was standing alone at the edge of a snowbank as he was stuck in his thoughts.
Where was Karina? He was sure she'd show up by now...and it seemed that he could sense her chakra more and more, almost as if she was coming closer.
Geleel then heard screaming and laughing as he saw Katara running behind Aang.
"Hm, what are they doing?" He questioned himself as he immediately followed after them.
"Aang! Aang!" He heard Katara shouting as he came upon the scene.
He noticed the Water tribe girl standing amongst a group of strange looking penguins.
Aang was chasing one too as it squawked.
That's another thing...the animals here were super weird, Geleel had seen Polar bear dogs in the village, now he's seeing four winged seal Penguins.
"Boo." Geleel said quietly as he now stood next to Katara who still jumped slightly.
"Why's Aang ignoring you?" Geleel questioned her.
"I don't know, we told him about the war and he started avoiding the discussion all togethe-" Geleel cuts her off.
"Wait war? What war are you talking about?" He questioned her.
"You don't know about the war either? The war has been going on for a 100 years...Aang is the Avatar...the one that disappeared 100 years ago." Katara explained as they began walking after Aang.
'The Avatar, now that, I remember dad telling me about...a lil bit.' Geleel thought to himselt as they caught up with Aang.
They watched as Aang failed to catch any or the penguins to sled.
"Aang, I'll help you catch a penguin if you teach me Waterbending." Katara said to Aang who beamed.
"You gotta deal." He answered back swiftly.
"Can I get in on this knowledge?" Geleel questioned as Katara nodded and the two boys waited expectantly.
"Alright, listen closely my young pupils, and observe." The girl said as she tossed two tiny fish at them.
Both of them caught the fish as penguins immediately began swarming them.
Aang giggled at the penguins as they ate the fish.
"I think this might be more than we asked for." Geleel said with a small awkward smile.
Later
After situating which penguin they wanted, down the icey slope they went as they essentially flew down the hill.
"Woo! Yea!" They all cheered as the penguins went faster and faster.
As they came to a stop the teens got off the penguins and sighed peacefully.
"Woah...what the heck is that thing?" Geleel questioned as he gestured to a giant Fire Navy ship that was stuck in a glacier.
"A Fire Navy ship...and a very bad memory for my people." Katara said as they took note of the torn red flag on the ship's bow.
"Let's check it out." Aang said with a smile as he walked towards it.
"Aang stop! We're not allowed to go near it..." Katara trailed off as Aang looked back at his friends.
"If you want to be a bender, you have to let go of fear..." Aang said as he entired the ship.
Katara sighed as she huskily followed him.
'Yes, let go of fear and welcome stupidity.' The Juubi said in Geleel's head as boy sighed and entered the ship.
He came upon the scene as Katara and Aang were discussing the war.
"Okay wait, what do you mean the Fire Nation started this war? I have friends from all over the world, even in the Fire Nation, this is crazy..." Aang said as he looked around the ship.
Geleel thought it over, this dude was really trapped in that ice for 100 years...a lot of things could change in that timespan.
"How long were you in that ice berg?" Katara questioned him.
"I...I don't know...a few days maybe?" Aang said shakily.
"Try a 100 years..." Geleel began as they turned to him.
"If what Katara says about this war and the Fire Nation's tyranny is true, then it's safe to assume you were somehow trapped in the ice for a 100 years Aang..." Geleel revealed as the bald boy gasped...he couldn't believe it.
"So...I'm 112 years old?" Aang questioned shakily as he copingly laughed.
He turned his back on the world when he...the Avatar, was supposed to be their only hope at peace.
"I can't believe this." Aang said as he sat down in despair.
"I'm sorry Aang...maybe somehow there's a bright side to all this." Katara tried to help him cope.
"Well...I did get to meet you guys..." Aang trailed off as Geleel and Katara smiled at him.
This however, brought another question on for Geleel...if the Avatar was supposed to be the one protecting this universe...why the hell were he and his sister here?
"Come on guys...let's get out of here." Katara said as they all prepared to leave.
"This place is so weird..." Geleel trailed off as they walked back to the exit.
"Tell me about i-" Aang cuts himself off as he looks down to see he had stepped on a trip wire.
"Oh no." Katara said as a gate behind them locked causing them to be trapped on the ship.
"So...what was that you said about booby traps Katara?" Aang questioned her as they realized the old ship's traps were still active.
Suddenly a flare shoots out of the ship's helm causing them all to gasp.
"Oh no..." Geleel said as he placed a hand their respective backs.
"Guys this may feel weird, but we gotta move quick, that can't be good." He said as he shunshinned to the top ship and due to the fact he had his hands on them they shunshinned along with him back outside the ship.
"Woahhhh." Aang said as he fell down dizzily.
"That was insane." Katara said as she held her head.
"Not as insane as that..." Geleel said as he gestured to the giant flare in the sky...completely alerting anyone within a 100 mile radius of our presence.
"We gotta warn the village!" Katara shouted as she grabbed their hands and began dragging them back to the village.
Karina
Karina watched as a flare flew into the sky a few short miles away.
She was next to Zuko who was looking into the telescope he had.
He noticed Aang jumping with Katara in a bridal style carry out of the ship.
"Ah the last Airbender, quite agile for his old age." Zuko commended Aang.
Karina then zoned in on them with her heightened eyesight as she gasped.
"No...this can't be..." Karina said to herself as she noticed her little brother leap out of the ship after the Avatar and the girl she did not recognize.
"Wake my uncle! Tell him I found the Avatar! And his accomplices!" Zuko shouted as Karina grit her teeth at that, her brother was just confused, he was not an accomplice to some power hungry goon like the Avatar.
"What's wrong?" Zuko questioned as he noticed she had tensed up.
"Tch! None of your business..." Karina said coldly before turning and walking off.
Zuko glared at her back, he never understood why she always had a attitude...kinda ironic though right?
Karina didn't care about anything right now, she just knew she needed to get her brother to understand he was on the wrong side of this battle.
