Corrine opened her eyes and found herself in bed Ursulis was petting her head "Ursulis where is Aaron?" Corrine said speaking softly "he's fast asleep" Ursulis said looking right next to Corrine
Corrine looked as well and saw Aaron who was sleeping peacefully in a chair while holding Corrine's hand "what happened after I...?" Corrine said only for Ursulis to press his lips against her's
"You should keep resting, everyone doesn't even remember the Overblot happened in the first place, you have nothing to worry about" Ursulis said petting her head gently
"Are you sure?" Corrine said curiously "I'm sure" Ursulis said Aaron murmured he opened his eyes sleepily "Ursulis what's going on? Is Corrine awake yet?" Aaron asked tiredly rubbing his eyes sleepily
"Why don't you ask her yourself?" Ursulis said gesturing to Corrine Aaron slowly looked at her only to hug her tightly "thank goodness your ok" Aaron said with a relieved tone in his voice
"You should get some rest" Ursulis said in a firm but loving tone "but..." Ursulis put a finger to Corrine's lips cutting off her words "would you rather we stay to cuddle with you" Ursulis said with a smirk
Corrine blushed and nodded Ursulis chuckled softly and got into bed on one side of Corrine while Aaron got in on the other side of the bed they all fell asleep peacefully
Meanwhile...
"Thank you for coming Aunt Rias it's good of you to come do a check-up on my daughter" Ryn said with a sigh of relief while Rias walked down the hall toward Corrine's bedroom
"it's my pleasure besides I couldn't possibly let Kline do it he's only my apprentice after all he's not experienced enough in the medical field on his own" Rias said opening the bedroom door
But once she peered inside she smiled softly "what's up?" Ryn said in confusion "take a look and see for yourself" Rias said moving out of the way for Ryn to see a pleasant sight
Corrine was sandwiched in between her soulmates Ursulis and Aaron cuddling in their sleep "I think she'll be just fine now" Rias said patting Ryn's shoulder before leaving
Corrine snuggled into her soulmates warmth 'so this is what it feels like to love someone...it feels so good' Corrine thought to herself as she fell into deep slumber
Corrine closed the book "the end" Corrine said with a relieved sigh "I'm so glad that's over" Ursulis said Corrine looked over at Rose who still seemed to be somewhat emotional because of the Overblot part of the story
Corrine sighed softly "do you want another hug Rose?" Corrine said as Rose nodded slowly embracing her feeling choked up with tears threatening to stream down her face
"Shh it's ok, I'm here" Corrine said Rose just sobbed letting out all of the regret she had bottled up inside her "I wish it were me who Overblot instead of you" Rose said sobbing
"No you don't, don't say that" Corrine said comforting her softly "I deserve it though" Rose sobbed "no you don't no one deserves it" Corrine said rubbing her back gently
"These damn pregnant hormones are getting to me" Rose sobbed "I know the feeling" Corrine said rubbing her belly slightly "I'll go now sorry to intrude" Rose said sniffing back her tears
"It was actually pretty nice of you to come despite the fact you look ugly while crying" Corrine said mischievously "Cori!" Rose said annoyed "I'm just kidding of course" Corrine said laughing heartily
Rose clicks her tongue annoyed "don't let me hear you say that again brat" Rose said back to her normal self making Corrine smile "good I'd rather you be angry than sad" Corrine said
Rose knew what she meant and smiled and hugged her one more time "thanks" Rose said before magically disappearing into thin air making Corrine sigh but smile
