"Come on Lynn, Bobby and his friend are waiting for us!" Lori said impatiently
Lynn had a grumpy look on her face
"and don't frown boys don't like that!"
"Well, I don't like being forced to go out like this Lori" Lynn said
Lori rolled her eyes
"oh, quit whining! it will be fine you might even end up liking this guy"
Lynn scoffed
"doubt that"
The two made their way into burping burger where bobby and his friends, a tall white male with black hair was waiting, he was wearing a white polo shirt , pair of jeans and black tennis shoes
"Babe!" Bobby said happily.
"Boo Boo Bear!" Lori announced equally as happy.
The two rushed forward and gave each other a hug and kiss
While the two lovebirds reconnected booby friend walked over to Lynn with a slightly perverted smile on his face
Hey beautiful my name is Richard what's yours?" he said
It took everything Lynn had not to smack him in the face! she gritted her face and said
"Lynn."
Richard too lost in in his own world to see how upset she was just smiled
"that's a nice name for a nice girl."
Lynn just glared holes into him
Lori sensing disaster grabbed Lynn
"down girl he's just saying hi"
Lynn just groaned
"so…why don't you girls grab a table Richard and I get us something to eat" Bobby said in a nervous tone
"Great idea Boo Boo Bear" lro said happily, come on Lynn I think I see a table for four over there!" Lori said point to a table near a window down a bit from the entrance
Bobby and Richard went to get the food while Lori and Lynn walked in the opposite direction
When the girls got to the table, they said down on the left side, with Lori closer to the window, as she sat down, Lori give Lynn a frosted look
"you know Lynn you could be a little more cooperative!"
Lynn just gave an equally icy look
"ho your' right Lori I guess I should be glad that you FORCED ME INTO A MAKEOVER MACHINE AND THEN MADE ME COME ON A DATE !"
"oh stop being so overly dramatic, I know you wanted to date…what's his name from the baseball team"
Lynn get even angry "SO THAT'S THIS IS ABOUT!? you think I'm lonely so you just force me into dating GOD! This is just like what happing with Lincoln and Ronnie Ann!
Lori glared right back
"HEY, it's not like you were any better about those two!"
" at least I didn't force Lincoln to go on a date with her!"
Lori had a bit of shame on her face, anger quickly took over but she saw that Bobby and Richard were walking back
"you know what lets continue this conversion never Lynn here come the boys."
Bobby and Richard sat down on the other end of the table with Bobby sitting closer to the window.
"hey girls we're back!" Bobby said in a happy tone.
The put the trays of food on the table
"here babe" bobby said "I got you a salad cause I know you like those"
"Thanks boo boo bear!" Lori said
Lynn scooted
"well, you might have gotten I salad but I got" she said as Richard push her food towards her "a salad….WAIT WHAT!?"
Richard look at her as he took a bite out of his burger
"what?" he said in a clueless tone
"dude why did you get yourself a burger and me a salad?!"
"cause….chicks are like salad? He said
Lynn's face got red but Lori quickly intervened
"hey, we don't we girls….go use the restroom or something!"
"ok babe but don't take too long I want to share my milkshake with you" Bobby replied as he revealed a milked with two straws in it"
"oh, Boo Boo bear you're always so sweet we'll be have in 5 minutes!"
The two got up and walked toward the girls bathroom
As she and Lori entered it Lynn marched straight up the one of the sinks and began to run the water.
"Ummm Lynn what are you doing"? Lori asked
"I'm getting this crud off my face now! Lori" she answered
"NO!" Lori screamed "you promised to come on this date with me!"
"I DON'T CARE" Lynn shouted
"LYNN CALM DOWN RIGHT NOW!"
"WHY!?"
"BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO CAUSE A SCENE!"
"NOT….MY…..ISSUE….!"
Lori facepalm, ran over and stopped the water before Lynn had a chance to get rid of the makeup
"LORI IF YOU DON'T…" she began
"LYNN STOP IT RIGHT NOW"
Lynn relented
Lori took a deep breath
"look I know this is hard for you but I think this is best, I mean you reacting the way you are won't win you attraction even if I didn't trick you."
"well sorry but I don't like salad!" Lynn said still cross
"well how was Richard supposed to know that?, he doesn't' know you that well."
"He could have asked what I wanted"
"then why don't we go back and tell him that?"
"….fine"
The two left the bathroom and walked back to the table.
When they got to it, Bobby asked Lori
"everything good babe"
"yep everything is fine boo boo bear."
Richard just sat and ate his burger.
The girls sat down and Lynn began reluctantly began to eat her salad still upset.
While Bobby and Lori began to drink from the milkshake, while lynn stewed
"this is so stupid! When this is over I'm so gonna give Lori, Leni, and Lola noggies,"
Then sighed
"but until then might as well make small talk"
She look at Richard and asked "so….do you have a favorite sport?"
Richard just stared at her "Not really, not big into sports and I'm surprised YOU are"
Lynn managed to swallow her anger and said
"what does that mean"
"you're a girl and girls don't do sports" Richard replied
Lynn moved her hand to smack him but stopped herself in time to do a facepalm instead
"girls have been doing sports for years now!"
"yeah well maybe they shouldn't."
"WHY …YOU…. BIG… STUPID" Lynn thoguht
Lori and Bobby could tell something was going wrong and with a glance to each other knew it was time to wrap up this "date"
Lori cleared her throat
"well, I think its time to go" she said in a near panic
"yeah" bobby said "this was nice but we should get going"
The four stood up
"I'll text you letter bobby" Lori said
"not if I text your first!" he responded
The two kissed.
"Hey maybe we should try this own out on sometimes." Richard told Lynn
"Not in a million years you idiot!" Lynn thoguht.
Then Richard leaned in and kissed her on the check
One minute latter, Richard was knocked out cold!
Lynn was breathing heavily
Lori and bobby has shocked looks on their faces
Lynn was NOT in the mood for a lecture
"WHAT! You SAW what he did!"
Lori approached her and she thought
"do your worst Lori cause nothing you do can compare to…
Lori hugged her
…huh?!"
"I am SO sorry Lynn; I didn't think anything like that would happen" she said with guilty look on her face
Boby had equally guilty look on his face
"Yeah I had NO idea he would dare do that."
Lynn sighed and said
"Let's….just go home Lori."
Lori nodded sadly and the two left burping burger to do that.
As soon as they got out the door Lori turned to Lynn
"Once again Lynn I'm sorry. Bobby….well he makes ME happy and I just thought that….maybe you wanted someone to make you happy too"(1)
Lynn looked towards her and said "Look Lori I….appreciate what you tried to do but I'm happy! I don't think I need anyone like bobby in my life….at least not right now."
Lori nodded and said "ok."
Lynn thoguht for a few minutes, then with small smile said, "and today wasn't totally bad I admit I DID enjoy punching that idiot!"
Lori smiled back and let out a chuckle "yeah…Hey, maybe you literally knocked some sense into him!"
Lynn laughed "ohh don't pull a Luan on me and start making puns!"
"I won't" Lori said still laughing, then wiped some tears from her eyes and said, "you ready to go and get that stuff off?'
Lynn for the first time gave a real smile "I thought you'd ever ask"
The two walked down the street smiling
As you might be able to tell I chose to make Richard be an idiot!
I figured (and hope) this would be funny and would be true to what JBlaser wanted
I also added in Lori think that Lynn needs a boyfriend which we know is (probably) not true as of "Singled Out")
