When Jamey had first gotten back from the mission with the N-Force she had not fully disclosed with the team that she had unlocked new powers of her own because she was still figuring them out herself. With everything that had also been going on she also hasn't had the time to focus more on anything other than trying to find the location of one of the stones and her non stop headaches. While Timmy, Tootie, and Elky were away Jamey, AJ, and Brett were working on finding a similar energy signature of the stone that they now possessed. When Timmy, Elky, and Tootie had gotten back the three scientists revealed that they had a location of the second stone. "Where do we begin?" Timmy had asked. "Well it just so happens that the next stone is at a science fair in AJ's old stomping grounds." Jamey explained.

Everyone was surprised by this. It could not be that easy. "Yeah, I was just as surprised, but Brett, Jamey and I were gonna go check it out. I contacted my old high school and as an alumni they were thrilled to have the three of us come and be guest judges. We will be heading out tonight since the science fair is tomorrow in Dimmsdale." AJ explained. Sid was a little worried by this. "Do you want any of us to join?" Jamey shook her head. "No. We are gonna just check things out. Chances are it is part of a science project and if it is we can discreetly remove it without causing too much suspension." Jamey explained. Sid nodded his head understanding their reasonings.

When night came the three were ready to go. Yes they coud have just portaled there the next day or used to hover car, but they figured that if they got there the night before they could check out the projects that were left there overnight so they only had to worry about the last minute entirees the next day. The three had searched and searched all night but could not find the stone. "This was disappointing." Brett mumbled to the group of three. "Well it just means that it should be here tomorrow right?" Jamey said, trying to be optimistic. "We don't even know if the stone is gonna be in the science fair, it just said Dimmsdale and near the school. For all we know it could be in a different building completely, buried in the ground or foundation, or even in someone's house. What do we do then?" AJ asked. Jamey wasn't sure.

The three had hoped that the stone would be part of some students' science fair project. It made the most sense. Jamey had come to the conclusion that maybe the reason they only found one of the stones when they ran the scans was because that stone's energy was being amplified by said science project. If that was the case they could replicate how the signal was amplified and use it to their advantage to find the other stones before Savage did. It was a race against time and they did not have time to waste. "We will need to look again tomorrow. The signal is nowhere in the school." AJ said, running the scan once more. The three left as discreetly as they could at four in the morning. Luckily for them AJ still had his home from when he lived in Dimmsdale and they all spent the rest of the morning there trying to get a few hours of sleep before heading back to the school.

The Compound

When morning came the team had come to a surprise when they saw that Jamey's alters were out and free not will her. "Hey I thought you all would be with Jamey?" Libby asked running up to Baby giving her a hug. "Jamey wasn't expecting much action and thought it would be better if she came back here." Hulk answered. "I'm afraid that there isn't much going on here either." Libby told them. The N-Men, N-Force, and the Atlars just mingled a bit not really knowing what to do so they all just sat around catching up with one another filling each time about what had been going on since they last really saw one another. None of them had really had a chance to do so yet. Carl had gotten a message on his phone and looked down at it. Elky was the only one to notice that his mood had changed. "Hey what's wrong?" She asked her boyfriend while also gaining the attention of their friends. "Nothing." Elky just looked at her boyfriend not believing him. "Fine. My dad keeps texting me. He's been doing so since the concert." Carl finally admitted. "Dad issues are hard." Sid said, trying to sympathsize with him.

Elky felt out of place. She still didn't know much about her boyfriend when it came to his father. "Carl, why don't you talk about your dad?" Elky asked hesitantly. Carl fiddled with his phone not daring to look up at any of them. "What's there to say? He left and the first time I heard from him in over a decade he texted me after we finished performing asking if I wanted to meet his new family. Nothing to tell." Carl said bitterly, getting up to get some fresh air. Elky felt rotten having asked her boyfriend this and in front of everyone. She stayed put, understanding that Carl wanted to be alone for now. "Hey Carl, it will be alright. When Jamey gets back she will help him get through it." Baby said, trying to concol Elky. "But we are his friends and I am his girlfriend. I just wished he trusted us enough with this." Elky said, holding back tears. Oc was the one to speak next. "It's not that he doesn't. Jamey was just there when everything went down with his dad." Elky looked up at the altars. " Could you tell us what happened then?" She pleaded. "Not our story to tell. Just give him time." Hulk said.

Sheen had been spaced out this entire time with his leg furociously bouncing. "Ok what's up with you?" Libby asked, drawing the attention of the group onto Sheen "Just you remember my friend who went missing sometime back?" The N-Men nodded. "None of those missing teens have been found yet and I'm just worried about him." Sheen admitted. Sid, who was trapped on an island at the time, had originally missed this but he knew what Sheen was talking about. "My editor Jancie has been working on that story. We can go ask her if she knows anything?" Sid suggested. "Yeah the three of us can go ask her and check out any leads she might have." Libby added with Sid nodding along. For the first time in weeks Sheen felt hopeful. "Let's do it!" With that the three teens left for their own adventure. Chester had walked into the room after receiving a phone call from the Government telling him that he had been assigned his first mission. "Hey what's going on?" Chester asked as he saw Sid, Libby, and Sheen leave in a rush. "They are just gonna go on a mini mission to check out a lead about Sheen's friend." Elky told him. "Funny, I was about to go on a mission too. The Government just gaveme my first assignment, but I'm a little unsure how to proceed without Jamey since she is technically my supervisor." Chester explained.

A sudden idea hit Elky. "I know. How about Carl and I go with you? Like to supervise you or something. You handle the mission and we let Jamey know how you did in the field. It also wouldn't hurt to have backup if you need it." Chester honestly felt better at not having to go at this alone and Elky had hoped that this would also help Carl take his mind off of things. "If Carl is for it then I am in. We can head out. It's mostly just a stakeout and I was told to only get involved once I have perceived what the threat is." Chester explained. "Perfect. Let's go. Carl's already outside." Elky grabbed Chester by the arm and dragged him out of the compound before Timmy could give his apprentice permission. "I guess our lesson is cancelled then." He sounded a little annoyed, but Tootie just rubbed his arm soothingly. "Let her do this. She handled herself well on the island." Timmy nodded knowing that Tootie was right and that he needed to allow Elky to grow as her own wizard.

Nick just looked around seeing that it was only just the N-Force and the Altars who were left. "Is it wrong that I feel left out?" Nick asked. Megan just laughed. "No. We finally have a small break that we haven't had since before we got our powers. Just relax till everyone gets back. Ok?" She told her friend. Nate just realized something. "Should I have gone with my brother?" Everyone looked at each other and could not help but laugh at the fact that Nate didn't even think of that until now. "I think you're fine." Mercy just looked around wondering what they should do. "Who wants to play poker?" She asked. The Altars were all for the game, but the N-Force had been shocked to hear the question. In the end everyone was all for that and went over to the table to set up the game.

Jamey, AJ, and Brett ate breakfast and headed back to the school and even though they were on a mission all of them were a bit excited to be back at a science fair. After everything that had happened with Eustace Jamey was more than happy to be doing some non mutant work. This weekend was the high school's science fair and Jamey was asked to come judge. This was more than just Retroville High competing; they also had students from Dimmsdale High and Royal Prep. It was pretty intense on how everything was set up. AJ and Brett also decided to tag along. Brett was finally going to tell Jamey about Sanjay and AJ just wanted to get out of the lab. It was fun for the three of them to hang out. It felt like old times when the three of them would go give talks because they were three geniuses of different minorities; color, LGBTQ, and female. They all hated being put in those boxes but they always managed to get through it together. AJ was in his Dimmsdale High hoodie completely covered so as to not scare anyone.

Jamey was just walking around taking in all the tech she was seeing and Brett was staring at his phone. Jamey noticed Brett. "Hey are you ok. I have never seen you glued to your phone like this before. Is everything alright with your mom?" Jamey asked. Brett just looked up and gave AJ a look that said I need to tell her. AJ nodded his head pointing it to the hall so they had some privacy. Brett smiled in agreement and took Jamey by the hand and led her out. "Be back in a minute." Brett told AJ who just laughed at the other boy's excitement. AJ just continued to look around and stumbled into one of the contestants knocking both of them to the ground. "I am so sorry I sould have been watching where I was going." AJ said trying to apoligize picking up the stuff that had been knocked down. When he looked up he saw a very tan, bleach blond hair girl, with icy blue eyes wearing a yellow sweater and denim jeans and white sneakers. She had her hair in two braids with little bows at the end that matched her sweater and she was also wearing paleyellow glasses that were shaped like they were from the 50's. He stared at the dark freckles on her face and she blushed under his gaze that was coming from behind his sunglasses. "No worries. I was not looking either. Here let me."

The girl tried to grab her stuff from AJ when she felt the metal of his hand and was taken back. This caused AJ to flinch back embarrassed. "No sorry I just haven't seen cybernetics like this before. It's really cool." She said with a blush. AJ just smiled back at her. "I'm Chloe Carmichael." She said, holding out her hand. AJ took it and shook it gently. "I'm Andrew Johnson. But most people just call me AJ." He told her. She gave him a kind smile with her rose dusted pink lips. Out in the hall Brett was telling Jamey about Sanjay. "Ok so I have been wanting to tell you this for a while and just didn't know how to say it but. I saw Sanjay at the Club Soda and we have been texting back and forth and met for coffee and I think we want to try dating again." Brett said really face but Jamey heard every word. All she could do was smile and give Brett a big hug. "I am so happy for you. Really." Jamey told him. The two talked for a bit more before going back into the gym to try and find AJ again. When they did they saw him talking to a very pretty girl. Jamey and Brett looked at one another and gave each other a knowing smile. It was clear to them that AJ was developing a crush. The two left the cyborg to his flirting and they went to go look at the other booths before they had to make their final judging.

AJ was now walking Chloe back to her booth and saw that it was a robotics booth. Chloe saw this and became instantly worried. "Ok this is going to sound weird but I did not just stop to talk to you because I'm into robotics. I mean I am but there was more to it. Please don't think that I was trying to use you or see you as a science project." Chloe said nervously and AJ was not thinking about any of that. Instead he was taken back by the complexity of her project and the intended applications she chose to use it for. "No worries, that wasn't even my first thought. This is amazing." AJ said in awe of Chloe who just blushed at the praise. "It's nothing big really. I just figured that with robotics taking the implications for deep sea clean up we will have a better chance at saving the ocean and with them running on the garbage they collect and turning it into usable and non toxic fuel it would be better for the environment anyway." She said looking back at her project.

AJ was truly impressed. He had always loved the implication of using technology to better the world; it's why he and Jamey got on at first. But when AJ looked at Chloe he saw that she was nothing like his ex. She was enthusiastic and shy and very humble about her intelligence. She was also very sweet not to mention very pretty. Jamey was bold and confident and not afraid to go head to head to prove her point. Chloe was very comfortable playing a diplomat when needed. AJ did not know what to do next. It took him two tries asking Jamey out who was his first girlfriend and she ended up making the first move. And with the life that he has would it even be fair to bring Chloe into that. AJ then thought back to how Brett and Sanjay were trying to make things work and Sanjay still didn't know that whole story yet. Chloe could see AJ was in deep thought. She placed a hand on his metal shoulder and this seemed to snap him out of his head. When Aj noticed he was staring he turned his head blushing as he could, causing Chloe to smile kindly back at him.

Chloe then took a deep breath and did something she did not expect herself to do. "Hey let me give you my number. So um we could talk about robotics some more or whatever. There's this um nice place in Dimmsdale Park where they have the best shaved ice or whatever." Chloe said nervously as she wrote her number on a scrap piece of paper before handing it to AJ who took it. "I like that. I would like that sorry. I was trying to say that I was going to ask you out but it seems you beat me to the punch." AJ chucked in a panic at his split up. Chloe just gave the cutest giggle AJ has ever heard before he had to leave and find his friends. "Bye. Good luck with your project." AJ said as Chloe returned her answer in the form of a nod. Before leaving to meet back up with Jamey and Brett, AJ got one more look at Chloe's science project and saw that they had spent the night looking for. The Stone. "Hey Chloe that object in your project what is it? I don't think I've seen anything like it before." AJ asked, trying to see how much she knew. "Oh. Um yeah. It's actually really weird. As far as I could tell it is some sort of energy source, but I have been having a hard time using it. I was gonna present it to my teacher to get his feedback." Chloe explained. AJ was relieved that no one else knew about it. "Would it be alright if one of my friends took a look at it?" Chloe just nodded her head.

AJ went off to grab Jamey and Brett. "I found it." Was all AJ said before grabbing both Jamey and Brett bringing them back to Chloe's booth. When the blonde girl looked up she saw one of her scientific heroes standing right in front of her. "No way. You're Jamey Neutron. It's such an honor." Chloe said, shaking the girl's hand. Jamey was a little put off guard by this. "Um. Thank you. I like your eco-friendly project. We definitely need more concepts like this in the world." Jamey said, causing the girl to blush. "Thank you." The girl said a little flustered. "I was wondering if Jamey could take a look at the object you have." Chloe just nodded and handed this ancient looking rock to Jamey who realized what it was. "Where did you find this?" Chloe looked at the genius girl confused. "Oh. My parents travel all over the world doing humanities work and they tend to bring me an object from each place they go. I think they found this in the Amazon jungle. I'm not sure." Chloe explained. The three then understood how the stone ended up in Dimmsdale. "Would it be at all possible if we could take this?" Jamey asked hesitantly. Chloe was surprised by this. "Sure? But why? I've tried to use the energy that it contains but I've had no luck." The three were really debating whether or not to let Chloe in on part of what they were doing. In the end they didn't because they just didn't know her well enough. "It is just a theory I've been working on and this object might be the missing piece." This reason was good enough for Chloe; even though she still had questions that she would most definitely be asking later. She let the three leave with the stone. With that the three pocketed the stone and placed their notes about who won the science fair. No surprise it was Chloe. AJ congratulated her with the hope of seeing her again very soon.

Sid, Libby, and Sheen made their way to Janice's office where Sid was doing his journalism internship. She was surprised to see him. "To what do I owe the pleasure?" She asked in her usual monotone voice not even looking up to acknowledge Sid. "You were looking into those missing runaway cases right?" Sid asked, finally gaining the attention of his editor. "I was. Why?" She asked, being short and to the point. "Because my friend was one of them." Sheen said a little aggressively. Libby in turn places her hand on Sheen's arm before turning back to Janice. "Look, we just want to know what information you might have." Libby explained calmly. Janice did not even smile. She just took off her glasses and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Look, you are not the first person to come asking about this case and I can't just let anyone know what I have just yet. I didn't show them my story so why should I show you?" She asked sternly. "Because Carlos wouldn't just run away he was taken." Sheen shouted angrily. The three were beginning to see that they were just wasting their time. "Come on, let's go, she's not gonna help us." Libby told the two boys. Janice however had a look that they missed. "Wait. Carlos Gomez?" She asked, gaining the attention of the three teens. "Yes? Why?" Sheen asked hesitantly. Janice looked through her papers. The older woman kept quiet. "Nothing, just it sounded familiar. That's all." She said coolly. The three had finally had enough and decided to leave.

Once they had made their way outside Sheen ran back in and out. He was so fast that if there wasn't a gust of wind Sid and Libby would not have known he had gone. Libby looked at Sheen anxiously. "What did you just do?" Sheen pulled out a small notepad with writing on it. "I copied her notes. She knows something." Sheen explained. Sid grabbed Sheen by the arm. "Are you trying to get us caught?" Sid hissed, not liking that they just stole from his boss. "No. She wasn't even in there when I ran back in. I noticed that she left the room soon after we did. She'll never even know what happened because nothing is out of place or missing. Jamey has been helping me with writing notes down quickly or quick sketches in case there ever comes a need to copy data down but not getting the chance to hack or download." Sheen said, handing the notepad to Sid who looked over it. Sheen was right Janice was keeping a lot from them. When Janice returned she knew something was off. What it was, it did not sit right in her waters.

Sheen, Libby, and Sid went back to the compound to safely go over Janice's notes when they had interrupted a poker game that was going on between the Altars and the N-Force. Baby Seemed to be winning. Nate saw that his brother was back and ran to him. "Hey did you find what you were looking for?" He asked his brother. "Maybe. We have some notes to go over if you want to join us?" Nate shrugged his shoulders. "Sure. The poker game is getting too intense for my taste. Baby does not mess around." Nate followed Sheen and the others to go over the notes Sheen took to see if there was at least a starting place for them to check out or something that could give them a clue as to what was happening. "I think I remember Carlos. You two used to play soccer together right?" Nate asked, trying to bond with his brother. Nate knew that he had made a lot of mistakes against Sheen, but he wanted to try and build back up his relationship with his older brother. "Yeah. I just wish I knew what had happened to him?" Sheen said feeling frustrated. Libby just rubbed his back. "We'll find him."

"It's this building." Sid said. Sheen grabbed hold of Libby while he, Nate, and Sid sped into the seemingly abandoned warehouse. They hid in the catwalk in order to survy the entire building and what they saw was quite disturbing. Testing chambers, uncleaned cages, the smell of blood and urian, and medical tables. It truly looked like a horror movie. "What is it with evil villians and their wearhouses?" Nate mumbled to himself. "I think it has to do with hiding in plain sight or something." Sheen answered back. "Not a real question." Nate said, a little annoyed. "Would you two be quiet? Look at all of this. What do you think that they've been doing?" Libby said. No one had time to answer before pulling all of them down. He had heard people walking thier way. The other three looked at him as he held up a finger signalling them to be quiet. They all turned back around to see who was headed their way.

"Is that Hypno?" Sid asked as they saw the older scientist walking into the room talking to someone else that had caught both Libby and Sheen's eyes. "More imoortantly is that Shawn?" Nate looked at his brother knowing the severity of Shawn being here. "What do we do?" He asked, unsure of what should be done. "Nothing yet. If Shawn is working with Hypno and kidnapping these kids we need to know what for. Also Libby if he is responsible we are going to have to take him down." Sid said sympathetically. Libby wiped away a tear from her cheek. Showing no emotion on her face she replied. "Nothing new there. I just can't believe Shawn has stooped so low." She said with regret betraying her voice. They had to stop their conversation in order not to be discovered and to be able to hear Hypno and Shawn.

"We have tried many different formulas and I believe that I am close to figuring out F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. Yes unfortunately only one of our test subjects have survived this process and we are still currently looking for the second." Ian explained the progress to Shawn. "What do we need explactly?" Shawn asked. "Well for F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. to work as we intend it to, we need two compatible subjects, one with a great mental capasity and one with a great physical capacity. With the kid Carlos I think was his name the intention was to make him smarter. It seems to have worked but with a small side effect." Ian said. "Him turning into a giant grunting gorilla who communicates with his thoughts." Ian just simply nodded. Sheen was fuming and both Libby and Nate were seen having to hold him back. "Then why do we still need to have the second subject Grollia Grod here who seems to have both abilities?" Shawn asked not understanding what needed to happen. "I thought you wanted to be the new number one in this town. Not Brick. Not Savage. You. And if you want to become that, we need to beat Jamey Neutron." Ian explained.

Sid did not like the fact that Jamey's name was mentioned and Libby was upset at Shawn wanting to be the next evil head that they would eventually have to fight. What was he thinking? "What does my sister's egghead friend have to do with this?" Shawn asked rudely. "In case you have not noticed which you probably haven't because your focus has been on the Flash, Jamey possesses something unique and special with her mutant ability. She has both the brain giving orders and battle strategies to the orange beast. If we can replicate that just imagine how powerful we will be?" Shawn thought about it for a moment before nodding his head. None of the heroes however were pleased at hearing this. Jamey had one of the most powerful mutations they have seen and for someone to replicate that was almost terrifying. "Now like I said all but one of the kidnapped runaways did not react well with the syrum I gave them and unfortunately they all died, but I do believe that I am close to finding the second subject for this project." Ian told Shawn. "Great. Do you know who it is?" Shawn asked.

"You." A voice said from the shadows before Hypno plugded a syringe into Shawn's arm and he was body slammed into a cage with a dormante gorilla that was previaously covered by a tarp. Out of the shadows showed Martha, Sid's clone, Reverse Flash, Bolbi, and Savage. Shawn looked up at Savage before looking back at Ian. "You betrayed me!" He said as he tried to use his powers but felt too weak at the moment to do so. "You think I was just gonna take orders from a teen. Newsflash. I've already done that with Jamey and I was not a fan. Martha ran a capatablility search through the entire city. Turns out you and Ape boy were our best bet. Sorry." Ian said insencer. Savage remained quiet up until this point. " I might have offered Ian a lot of money to complete this project. As you can see I am building a new team of villains. I am naming my four horsemen. I want you to be the third." Shawn stumbled to his knees as he tried to refuse Savage. He was regreting everything that he had done. He had burned every bridge he had and now he was alone. No one was going to save him.

Libby had just about enough of this. She jumped out of the group's hiding spot to send a force field around her brother's cage. "I don't think so Savage." Sid said, jumping infront of his former father. Sheen and Nate raced out to join their two team members. "You're too late son. The merge is already happening." Savage said, causing the four teens to turn around and see the gorilla and Shawn merging with one another into a singal flaming gorilla. Who now wanted out of the cage. Libby stood her ground to try and hold her force field, but Bolbi flew right at her, weakening it. "I didn't think we would fight again so soon, but I am grateful for the chance." Bolbi said, licking his lips. "Can't you see that this is wrong?" Libby asked despriate to not only save her brother, but her old friend. "Can't you see that I don't care." Bolbi said before flying at her with another attack. Martha had quickly left the wearhouse not wanting to get wrapped up in the fight but not before grabbing Ian's journal that was filled with the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. research.

Sheen looked at his old friends and was mortified at what his friends were being put through. "What are you doing to them?" Sheen hollard at Savage and Ian. "Simple. With your team growing by the day I thought I would try once more with a team of powered heroes that despise you. With my other children but Martha hating me and everyone but that ice queen, Ian, and the hot head in the cage being the only few that are still alive. I needed fresh blood. I needed my Four Horseman. Sheen was just glaring at the Reverse Flash then to the cages Shawn and Carlos were trapped in. "Actually Savage I just needed a means to an end. I have my own plan at play." With that Reverse Flash ran and pulled the level activating the machine. With a blinding light Shawn and Carlos merged into one new abomination. Sheen did not have a chance to react before the Reverse Flash released project Firestorm from the cage. "I'll handle the gorilla, Sheen go after her." Nate yelled at his brother.

With that Sheen ran to the speedster girl and Sid charged for his father who was holding up his own during the fight. "Watch your temper son. Or else you might just make a mistake." Savage said teasingly. Sid was just mad. Mad at his father. Mad at what his life has become. Mad at the stress he has been put under. He was just mad. He felt like he was being consumed by his rage. Sid was shaking that was until he heard Libby briefly scream before sounds of her choking could be heard with his super hearing. Sid knew that this fight with his father had to be had another day, because that was not why they were here. They were here to save the missing runaways. Even though most of them were turned to dust there were still two who needed their help and right now Libby was also in trouble. "Bolbi, what are you doing with Savage? He's gonna hurt Shawn!" Libby shouted at her former friend. "He can give me what I want." He said sticking his slimy tongue out and pinned her to the wall. Sid left his father and flew to Libby pushing Bolbi off of her.

Before Sid could check on her he was flung across the room. When he looked up he saw a new figure of someone none of them had seen before. A red head with the biggest boil on his face any of them had ever seen. He looked a little nerdy dressed in all red and black including his glasses, but he seemed ready to kill. "They call me the Crimson Boil. This thing on my face that once only brough bullying and misery to my life is now your worst nightmare. It's indestructible. Even against your attacks, Special Guy. The rest of me is almost like I am made of rubber. So take your best shot." Sid was just staring at him unsure of what to think; Libby was just coughing trying to regain herself as she took a battle stance next to Sid who was still on the ground.

Nate was doing his best to fight this F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M but was losing hard. Whatever this Ian guy did Shawn and Carlos had somehow merged and was now this flaming gorilla monster and honestly it was a bit terrifying. If it wasn't for his speed he would have been crushed to bits. Sid flew in and gave the fire gorilla a knockout blow. "I got this to help Sheen." Nate just nodded and ran to his brother chasing the third speedster causing the wind to pick up. The three speedsters kept gaining speed running faster and faster. "Stop, you're ruining everything." Savage hollard. The Reverse Flash only laughed. "Savage. Things are going exactly as planned." She laughed back. Savage was furious she was betraying him. Before Sid could intervene the three speedsters were just gone. Like they had never been there. He then looked back at the gorilla who had unmerged and was Shawn and Carlos once more.

"Where did they go?" Bolbi hissed. "Doesn't matter, we need to go now!" Savage demanded. "But the experiment!" Ian cried out. "Leave it!" Savage ordered. "No. I am not going to abandon my research." Ian said running to the test subjects. "Then so be it." Savage said. Savage gave the order for Specter to make his move. Before Ian knew what was about to happen or for Sid to run and stop his clone. The Crimson Boil just turned to Sid before leaving. "Guess I'll just have to wait until next we meet." Specter used his laser eyes to their full power and turned Hypno into nothing but dust. Savage and his new soldiers left, leaving Sid and Libby with a gorilla Carlos and an injured Shawn.

After the science fair the three went to Jamey's hover car and headed back to the compound. "So did you ask her out?" Jamey asked. AJ went wide eyed. He knew that he and Jamey were on better terms but it still felt weird to have his ex asking him that. "Um. No. Not yet." AJ stuttered. "AJ I know things are still a little weird between the two of us but I want you to know that at the end of the day I just want you to be happy. And she seemed nice. Also her project looked really impressive. Don't wait too long to ask, she seems really great and would be lucky to date you." Jamey told AJ, which calmed his nerves a bit. Brett just placed a hand on the cyborg's shoulder giving him a supportive smile then headed back to the Compound to tell the team about what had happened. Little did they know that everyone else was in the middle of their own adventures.

Sid and Libby brought Sheen's friend and Libby's brother with them back to the lab. Everyone was shocked at what they saw. "I guess the mission was successful?" Timmy said rushing to his brother? "Where are Sheen and Nate?" Megan asked. "We don't know they ran after Reverse Flash and just disappeared." Libby said a little panicked as she placed Shawn and Carlos in the healing chamber. "Where are all the other missing kids?" Nick asked, only seeing two. Sid was angry that they hadn't made this a priority sooner. "They're dead and Savage was behind everything." This grabbed the attention of everyone. Libby and Sid told them what they had learned. They could not believe what they were planning. "He was experimenting on runaways to create what exactly?" Brent asked, frustrated. "I don't know but for whatever reason Shawn and Carlos were able to survive the testing." Libby was just in tears. Her brother was tested on and Sheen was missing. "Has anyone heard from Jamey or the others?" Sid asked, still upset over his father. Before anyone could answer, Sheen and Nate zipped in both looking as though they had seen a ghost. Libby ran to her boyfriend and engulfed him in a hug. "What happened to you two?" Sheen looked at Nate who could barely look anyone in the eye. "A lot. How are Shawn and Carlos?" Sheen said not wanting to put Nate on the spot.

Nate however could not take it any longer and ran off. Libby looked at Sheen with concern, he just sighed knowing he had to tell them the truth. "When we were chasing Reverse Flash. We timetaveled back to the night our mom was murdered. She was trying to kill the younger me but Nate grabbed me and ran me far away from the house. He saved my life, and I ran to subdue Reverse Flash, but neither of us saw our mom running to save my younger self. We watched our mother die right in front of us. The only consolation to any of this is that she didn't die alone." Sheen said, holding back tears. Everyone else was almost afraid to ask. Sid had finally calmed down from earlier. "What about Reverse Flash?" Sheen was shaking and Libby held him tighter. "She got away. For years I dreamt about going back to that night and saving her and I failed." Libby's heart broke. "I hate to say this but maybe this was always supposed to happen." Timmy said. Libby had to hold Sheen back. "Sheen he's right. Mate saved your life, you wouldn't be who you are if this didn't happen, and you gotta do what people only get to dream of." Libby told her boyfriend. Sheen turned to her hurt. "What?" He snapped. Lobby looked him in the eyes. "You got to say goodbye." Sheen just pulled Libby into a hug and cried. Nate had come back to hear Libby and knew she was right. "None of this is your fault. Mom wouldn't want you to blame yourself and I'm sorry that I ever did. It was just a lot to take in." Nate told his brother. Sheen just pulled his brother into a hug.

"So what are we gonna do about Savage and his four Horsemen?" Timmy said, breaking the silence. "I don't know." Sid said. "I'm gonna check on Carlos and Shawn." Libby said, walking towards the healing chambers. She was worried about her brother and what was to come of him. Libby didn't know what she was gonna tell her parents. What she saw today was like nothing any of them had seen before. Closest thing was Jamey and her altars, but this was different. Hopefully they could figure out what they did to Shawn and Carlos and fix it somehow. Libby was also worried about what Sheen and Nate were gonna tell their dad. She was taken out of her thoughts when she heard Jamey, AJ, and Brett returning. She walked back out to hear them explain what happened and was happy someone's mission turned out better than theirs.

When AJ, Brett, and Jamey returned the mood was very down. AJ was not paying attention, he just went to text Chloe on his phone. Inside of Jamey's mind Oc felt a little jealous over the fact that AJ was moving on but overall was truly happy for him. AJ smiled back down at his phone and Sheen saw this. "Hey man what's up?" AJ quickly put his phone away causing everyone to give him a weird glance. "Oh come on, they are going to find out. This group of people is like a small town where everyone knows everything about everyone. No point in hiding a secret." Brett said that last part while looking at Sid who has yet to tell Jamey about his mom. "I met this cute girl named Chloe. That's all." AJ said with a huff. "She is also really into robotics and saving the environment. Seemed like a nice girl." Jamey added. Sheen just patted the cyborg on the back while Megan and Libby gave him a smile. The others just said congrats and left it at that. "See not a huge deal. We are really happy for you but we also know that you don't always like to talk about this sort of thing." Jamey said, easing AJ's mind. "Jamey may have also text blasted everyone and threatened them to be on their best behavior when you told them." Brett added, earning him an angry look from Jamey.

"We managed to get the stone with no problems." Jamey said, though feeling uneasiness about the whole thing. It's never been that easy before. "We ran into trouble on our end." Sid told her. The three scientists were concerned by this. "What happened?" Brett asked. "Savage is creating a new team he's calling the Four Horsemen. Bolbi is one of them." Libby explained half heartedly. Sheen placed his hand on her shoulder. "Reverse Flash was one of them but I'm not so sure anymore. Also we had only met thres of the four. He was trying to create the fourth member but we stopped that." Sheen added. Timmy wanted to ask about Remy and Trixie but knew that they weren't part of that team. Savage would only create a team he could manipulate. "Who was the third?" Brett asked. "A new player calling himself the Crimson Boil." Sid explained. "Seems like we have work to do. Started with filling us in with the two people in the healing chambers." Jamey said.

Stritch Tower

"So what do you say about my proposal for you, young Stritch." Savage said, looking at the grinning boy who was sitting across from him. "Now Mr. Vortex I believe you have gotten yourself a deal."

The Next Day

The team was still down about what had happened yesterday and Libby was still a ball of nerves. Shawn and Carlos still had not woken up yet. Jamey, AJ, and Brett had spent the whole night running tests to see what exactly had been down to the two unconscious teens. Sheen was mortified by the fact that his friend had been turned into a telepathic gorilla who was unable to speak clearly anymore. Jamey spent the night working on a helmet that should help Carlos regain some of his cognitive functions, but much to their dismay they could not reverse what Ian had done. "This is despicable." AJ commented. "We should have kept better tabs on Ian. We should have known what he was capable of." Jamey said, upset by the lack of attention they gave. "You couldn't have known he would have done something like this." Brett said try to comfort his friend. "Savage brought him to lead the team to try to make the chamber to create a permanent solution and only became more unhinged after the accident. We should have known." Jamey said, rubbing her temples. "There's nothing we can do now. All we can do is try to make things as best we can." AJ said, Jamey nodded her head in regret. It felt like everyday she was getting a new reminder of how she was fooled by Savage and so many people got hurt because of it.

The three scientists left the resting teens and went to join their team who were now arguing with one another. "While we were out on missions you lot have been here sitting on your butts. Maybe if you had been on top of things Savage wouldn't have killed those teens." Nick said to Sid. "Well at least I wasn't fooled by Savage." Libby hollard at Hulk. "We were all played." Oc argued back. "None of this would have happened if we hadn't been repressed." Mercy mumbled. "You left me no other choice." Hulk screamed. "Maybe it was best if none of you showed back up." Brett mumbled. "You don't know anything." Baby cried. "I was a fool to think that you all were fellow warriors." Tootie shouted. "Where were you when it came to stopping Savage? That's right I forgot you were stuck in an iceberg." Brett snapped. "And where were you when all of that was going down?" Libby said, biting Brett's head off. "Saving you when you all were captured, remember!" Brett answered angrily.

Why was everyone so angry? They needed to pull together not fall apart and be at each other's throats. Jamey just felt like all of her insecurities were being exposed. How she had kept Savage a secret from the team. How she was fooled by him. How it was her machine to cause so much damage. How she feels like no matter what she does she keeps hurting the ones she loves. How she had been gone for months when her team needed her. How she had hurt her alters by suppressing them. Did everyone feel this way? Then Jamey thought back to her new powers. Maybe they were feeding off of her. She needed to stop this. "How about a friendly competition to see which is the best team." Jamey said, changing the conversation. This pulled everyone's attention away from the arguing. Those who were not fighting and trying to calm the others felt a sense of relief when it seemed that Jamey was trying to distract everyone from the tension that was brewing.

Luckily everyone seemed to be excited by this. "But first, what about the new suits you promised us?" Libby asked coyly. "I haven't forgotten. Just let me go grab them." It took a minute for Jamey to grab them and for everyone to change. The updated suits were a sight to behold. Libby has an indigo cargo pant with a matching vest and gloves. She also has an electric blue boots, a long sleeve top, and mask. "So much better than the glorified spandex." Libby said, stating her approval. Sid had no cape, white out visor that allowed him to not be overwhelmed by his vision in the heat of battle. He had black combat boots that should hold up to his speed and a suit similar to Captian America. Sheen's suit did not have the biggest change to his suit. An added monitor to the front of his chest with the N-Men logo on it, a mask to cover his mouth so he does not swallow bugs when he runs anymore, and safety goggles built into his mask to protect eyes. He also had a mask that covered his ears to protect them as well. "These new suits are awesome." Sheen praised. "They will also protect you from Mercy's alega like the suits I made for the N-Force." Mercy smiled with aproveal. "Nice."

"So are we gonna get this contest going for what?" Hulk said excitingly. "Hey where are Carl, Elky, and Chester?" Jamey asked. "Chester went on his first mission from the Government and Elky and Carl went to keep an eye on him so they let you know how he was doing? I also think that Elky wanted to get Carl out. His dad has been texting him." Oc told Jamey who didn't know how to feel about that. She figured that she would let it go for now and talk to them later when they returned. "I'm glad that Elky is looking out for them." She said with a slight frown. Sid went up to his girl friend. "He they'll be ok." She smiled at Sid. "I know. Now let's go to the training area that Brett, AJ, and I have set up after the viral video event happened." They all followed Jamey into this massive room that is perfect for what they planned to do.

When they come to a stop Hulk gets a little too excited and grabs AJ slamming him into the ground. AJ looks at the orange creature. "Hey weren't starting just yet!" AJ shouts at the beast. "Sorry I got a little ahead of myself." Hulk said with a smirk on her face. "I guess the compiteition has started." Brett said, pulling Jamey out of the crossfires. Not happy about the low blow that Hulk just pulled Sid begins to charge at Hulk who sees him coming and charges back. They ram into one another but unlike the usual crater that would be created the ground was left unharmed. Most everyone was surprised by this. "We designed this room to be able to handle any powers that could be thrown at it so don't be afraid to hold back." Jamey said. Sheen with a little too much pent up aggression over what had happened the day before he kicked Nick into a wall a little too hard. "Hey. Jamey Might have said don't hold back, but I don't think she meant for us to kill one another!" She snapped back angerily, rubbing the now sore part of her chest. "Sorry." Sheen said, sincerely. Everyone just continued fighting one another this time a bit more light heartedly. Just letting off steam. This allowed everyone to cool down a bit and get into a more calmer mood.

Jamey watched her friends and alters compeat, blinking several times hearing a ringing in her head, grabbing it, but with everything going on no one noticed. She could feel the thoughts of all of her altars rushing in and out of her head. She could feel the thoughts of her teammates rushing in and out of her head. The room felt like it was spinning. It started off small with little objects lifting up into the air and back down again. Goddard was the only one to start to take notice of the effect Jamey was having. He barked several times before anyone took notice of him. Sid was the first one to realize that he was barking at Jamey who was not doing great. "Jamey?" She was out of it. When these powers first appeared they did not react like this and she has not been able to use them since, but now it felt as though she was losing control of them. Jamey held her head and kept muttering the words. "It's too loud." Over and over again she kept saying. "It's too loud." Clawing at her ears and temple to try and stop the noise inside her head. Sid rushed to her. A surge of pain rushed through all of the Altars. "We need to merge them back together, now!" AJ shouted running off to get the device. Libby, Nick, Brett, and Tootie started to hold their heads in pain. No one knew what was happening, but AJ quickly hooked Jamey up and started the device. A flash of light was seen and the Altars were gonna, but they did not go back in Jamey's head.

Jamey lowered her hands when she saw that her altars were gone, but none of them were in her head. "Something went wrong." Jamey said. "You think!" Libby hollard out holding her head along with Nick, Brett, and Tootie. Jamey was the only one to understand what had happened and went wide eyed trying to stifle her laugh. "It's not funny!" Nick yelled. Jamey knew that it wasn't funny, but she could not understand why she was laughing. It felt like with so much going on she just had enough stress that she just snapped. "I'm sorry. You're right it's not." Brett and AJ were starting to understand what might have happened. "Are your alters in their minds?" AJ asked. Jamey nodded her head. "How did that even happen?" Sid asked. Jamey's face became serious. "Remember when we were talking about how our powers might be able to develop and evolve?" They nodded their heads. "Yeah it happened to me during the Jet Fusion Mission." Brent said. "It happened to me as well and I developed a new power. Until now I haven't been able to use it since I was on the island." Jamey explained how this problem began.

"What are your new powers?" Brett asked, curiously. "This thing I call blinking where I can teleport from one place to another instantly. I can also do it to objects. I also have telekinesis and I can't read minds but I can feel them if that makes sense. I was hoping to run some tests before saying anything, but if I had known this was a possibility." Jamey was gesturing to the situation at hand. "I would have mentioned this sooner. I'm sorry." AJ just rubbed his temple at this new information. Jamey read AJ's mind and answered his unasked question. "This happened because for some reason my powers went off and I could feel Libby, Brett, Nick, and Tootie's mind before we activated the machine. With me connected to their minds while trying to absorb back my alters must have caused said issue." Jamey explained.

"Well now I know what happened. I can create something that should fix it but it will take a while." AJ explained. "It would be best if we all stayed here." Brett said to everyone. "Great plan, handsome." Oc said sarcastically from inside his mind. "I have Oc." Brett called out. "If I am to be stuck here, can we at least have some chocolate?" Mercy asked Nick who just cringed. "That's just weird. Ok, I've got Mercy and she wants chocolate." Nick said, not liking the fact that she was now hearing a voice in her head that was not her's. Jamey pointed to her secret stash and Nick went right to it. "What do you expect us to do until then?" Libby complained, rubbing her temple. "I don't know Libby, but we will think of something." Baby answered in Libby's head causing the girl to groan. "I've got Baby." Libby cried out. "Guess us warriors need to stick together." Hulk said. "If it must be, it is an honor to share a mind with the Hulk." Tootie said a little more excited than the others. "Well this should be interesting." Sid said not feeling too easy about this whole development.

I have had this chapter mostly finished but I have been taking 12 hour shifts for the past two weeks and just now found a real chance to talk. So we have another chapter down and another to go. I plan to write the rest of the storyline that has been set up by Cartoonace and before they post their next chapter UNDERCOVER. I do not know what Cartoonace has planned to end season 3 but I want to set up more of what to expect in season 4. Which will involve more aliens than this season did. As of right now I do not have a lot of following so when I say this has grown into more than I expected I meant for myself personally. Well I hope y'all have enjoyed reading this latest chapter and until the next time. Bye-bye for now my little Bookworms.
