Welcome to UA
Today's the day, UA's doors opens up for future heroes to come and learn, and inside the building we see the monkey tailed boy 'Son Goten' walking around the halls looking for a classroom called 1A. He smiles as he recalls from last night where he got his envelope saying he passed his exam and not just that he scored the highest points out of all the examinees. As he looks to his left, he finds a door where 1A is written this is the class he was looking for
'All right Goten you got this, it's just like your first day of high school except this time everyone has super powers no pressure' Goten thought as he opened the door. When he entered, there were other students in their seats and talking among themselves. His eyes went around, he noticed a blonde boy with a tail just like him except his tail is bigger. he also saw a pair of floating clothes too and some guy with many limbs and so on
'Man everyone here is so weird' Goten thought as he went to his seat
"If you kids are done talking we can get started for today" a tired man with a with a gray scarf said as he walked into the class. All the students stopped what they were doing to see the owner of the voice 'that must be or new teacher' Goten thought as he observed the man. he wore an all black outfit with a large grey scarf resting on his shoulders "Morning class, my name is Shota Aizawa, and i'll be your homeroom teacher" shota said "Now get into your gym clothes and head out to the grounds
Training grounds
The entire class stood in front of Mr. aizawa as he was explaining about UA and rules.
"Here in UA we're not tethered to traditions. That means that i get to run my class however i see fit. You've been using standardized test for most of your lives, but you never got to use quirks in physical exams before." Reaching into his pocket he pulled out his phone, which showed a list of requirements for a physical test. "The country's still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational. One day the ministry of education will learn." Then he looked at Goten "Son Goten, you managed to score over hundred points at the entrance exam. The highest anyone's ever recieved" this shocks the entire class even especially two stuents. shoto todoroki, a student with half his hair white and the other red, he had a scar on his left eye and after hearing the news he stared at Goten more intently. and katsuki bakugo an ash blonde hair looked at Goten with rage and fury
"yep that's me" Goten said rubbing the back of his head
"What was your highest score in softball at junior high?" mr Aizawa asked
"Not sure if i remember that very well" gotten replied sheepishly
"okay then throw this ball as far as you can with you're quirk" mr Aizawa said as he handed him the ball. Goten steps in the circle while observing the ball and looking at the sky "remember stay in the circle" mr Aizawa reminded him.
Goten looks at the sky and with a deep breath, Gohan pulled his right arm back before moving it forward, slamming his foot on the ground before throwing the ball. However instead of a normal throw, the ball was literally launched in the air like a bullet from a gun, small sonic booms trailed behind the ball as it kept going further, right into space.
The entire class froze and had their jaws drop as they saw the ball disappear from their eyes. bakugo's right eye twitched dramatically, tenya's glasses dropped from his face, while everyone else's reactions were the same.
"sorry went a little overboard" Goten said with a smile as Aizawa regained his composure and looked at his phone, only to see that the ball was still going
"that's good, you can go back to the others." nodding, Goten walked back to his fellow students, who all still had shocked expression as Aizawa watched him closely. 'what kind of quirk is that? i can see why nezu and all might are interested in him'
"Woah dude that was awesome was that your quirk?" A kid with red hair and sharp teeth exclaimed as he approached Goten
"thanks and yeah y-you could say that"
"That was an impressive throw." a familiar female voice called out as Goten turned. he was greeted to the familiar girl he met the first day he came to this world "Momo Yaoyorozu. nice to meet you again Goten right" the girl said
"hey you're that girl i met few days ago. how's it been." Goten greeted
"Great so you finally know your way around here?" she said recalling the time he asked her for directions.
"Oh yeah i do thanks for the library tip"
"wait you two know each other?" a girl with earphone lobes asked the two
"Yeah we met each other few days ago he was lost so i directed him to the nearest library to help him know where he was"
Their conversation was interrupted when they heard a loud thud making the ground shake a little. Then Mr. aizawa's phone beeped
"Listen up, all of you need to know your maximum capabilities." Aizawa said as he faced his students showing them the distance Goten had thrown his ball.
"1000 METERS!" most of the class yelled in shock 'Dang it, should have held back a bit more'
"Oh my God." kaminari said
"all right class the sooner we finish this test the sooner we can leave. oh and one more thing, whoever scores last will be expelled
"WHAAT!" the class yelled.
1. 50-meter dash Goten was watching his classmates use their quirks because it gave him a basic idea of what everyone could do. He learned that the exhaust pipes on tenya's legs increased his speed, tsuyu asui's quirk is a literal frog, Rikido sato the guy with big lips ate some candy and became stronger, Mina ashido the pink girl can bring out some strange liquid out of her body, mashirao ojiro the guy with the tail, Hanta sero can shoot tape out of his elbows, Aoyama can shoot a laser out of his belly. they were so many kids with weird powers.
"Todoroki and Son, you're up." Aizawa said. this intrigued the students apparently, the son of the number two hero vs UA's top score student were facing off next. Goten could hear whispers from his fellow peers. They were talking about who was going to win. As the two got to the starting line, the robot spoke "Runners on your marks. ready..." Both students got ready to run before the robot fired a gun in the air. Almost immediately, in a blink of an eye, Goten was already at the finish line almost like he teleported. Todoroki was surprised as he slid forward on his ice similar to ashido.
Son Goten 0.1 seconds. Shoto Todoroki 4.1 seonds.
"Woah this dude's fast too?. sato exclaimed
"Strength and speed what surprises does he have in store" tokoyami mused
"i didn't even see him move it's like he teleported" ashido exclaimed
Among the chattering students, bakugo was looking at Goten with pure malice, his fists clenching and his teeth seething. 'Am gonna crush you damn bastard.'
2. Grip strength The next test was grip strength. each student was given an object that measures the user's strength. Goten saw the others squeezing the objects with all their might as for him, all it took was a small squeeze and before he knew it the object in his hand was crushed.
"No way! you crushed that thing like it was nothing. How strong are you!?" sero shouted
"Well i think the machine broke before i could finish squeezing." Goten said modestly.
"what the hell is this kid?!" multiple people shouted.
"come on it's not that big of a deal." Goten said modestly while rubbing his neck.
3. Long jump The third test. Long jumps. Goten tried to suppress his ki to keep himself from flying, managing to jump the longest distance with over 23cm reached. "wow, incredible" Tsuyu said in amazement.
4. Side steps Mineta, using his balls bounced off them to get a score of 137. "Lets see the new kid beat tha-WHAT THE HECK" he shouted when he saw Goten moving at super sonic speeds creating afterimages.
5. Ball throw
Like with Goten the rest of the students were allowed to throw their balls using their quirks. one of the students ochaco, who smiled before using her quirk on her ball and throwing it, causing it to slowly float into the air, higher and higher until it was nowhere to be seen. Aizawa looked at his phone before showing it to everyone, revealing the infinite symbol.
"Infinity?!"
"Dang, looks like you lost your title there" kaminari said patting Goten's back
"Eh, it's not a big deal." Goten replied
"Bakugo you're up next"
"Right" bakugo said shoving Goten to the side before picking up a ball and proceeded to the pitcher's circle.
'The heck is his problem' Goten thought
As he got there he readied his arm ready to throw the ball and as he did, "DIE!" he throws the ball, followed with an explosion. It travels at an extraordinary speed scoring 705.2 meters.
'dammit not even close to 1000' bakugo thought as he went back glaring at Goten
next was Izuku. He went to grab his ball and as he proceed to the pitcher circle ready to throw. however before Izuku could let go of the ball, Goten felt his lower down. Once Izuku threw the ball, it landed a good 46 meters away. 'what the his power just vanished' Goten thought as he watched his throw.
"wh-what happened? i was about to use my quirk" Midoriya stuttered in shock.
"that's because i erased it."
All of the students looked in shock and fright as the rags around their teachers neck, his hair standing on end as well, and his flashing red staring at the terrified Izuku.
"The judges for this exam were not rational enough..." Aizawa coldly stated "...someone like you should not be enrolled here".
"You erased it?" Midoriya slowly asked, but went wide eyed when he saw the goggles hanging around Aizawa's neck. "wait i know you, you're able to cancel out someone's powers by looking at them. you're erasurehead!"
Goten looked at the man, the fact that someone could takeaway someone's powers by simply looking at them that was something terrifying. But what worried him was the thought if he tried using it on him it won't work and that could cause problems for him since others would see that his not normal. He took a deep breath and hoped it never came to that.
"you're not ready. you don't have control over your power." Izuku gasped as eraser continued. were you planning to break your bones so that someone else will save you?.
"what no! thats not what i was..." he was cut off as Aizawa's scarf wrapped around him
"No matter what your intentions are, yould be nothing more than a liability in battle. what are you going to do? save one person and then be completely helpless and need rescuing? what kind of hero is that?" Releasing his grip, Aizawa's hair and rags fell back down, his eyes blinking and the glow disappeared "I've returned your impractical quirk. hurry up and make your final throw.
All the students watch as Midoriya readies his arm with bakugo chuckling thinking Midoriya is getting expelled. and man was he wrong.
"Smash"
all the students went wide eyed as the ball shot up towards the sky with a reading of 704.3 meters
"woah" "cool" "awesome" though it's not as cool as Goten's" many of the students chattered
"DEKU! How the hell do you have a quirk" bakugo yelled rushing at Midoriya but was stopped when Aizawa wrapped his scarf around
"Bakugo, next time you try to use your quirk on a fellow classmate I'll use force got it"
"tch" was bakugo's reply as he released him.
Aizawa displayed the results to the students goten yaoyorozu todoroki bakugo lida tokoyami shoji ojiro kirishima ashido uraraka koda sato asui aoyama sero kaminari jiro hagakure mineta midoriya
Goten looked over to Midoriya 'dang poor guy, and he was looking forward to going here' Goten thought feeling bad for him
"Oh and i was lying no one is getting expelled that was just a rouge to get you to do your best"
"WHAT" most of the class yelled
"honestly it was actually pretty obvious I'm surprised no one noticed. sorry i probably should have let you known
'Yeah you should have' most of the class thought.
'Even i didn't know he was lying. well at least no one's going home.' Goten thought
"That was nerve wrecking huh?" sero asked
"Nah am always up for a challenge." kirishima said confidently though bakugo just scoffed, annoyed at the fact Izuku wasn't kicked out.
An hour later
After gathering their syllabuses, the students of class 1A either began to make their way home, or just hang out with one another. "Man what a day" And then there was Goten who was walking across the walkway. he was able to make new friends and use his power on the first day. Unlike in his world were people would freak out with seeing his powers, in this one no one would bat an eye at him. as he was making his way to the entrance, he sees a familiar student. Izuku.
"Hey Izuku right? how's it going" he greets him
"Oh hey there" He greets back "Are you heading to the station too?" he asks
"Yeah figured that's the fastest way home. Am son Goten incase you forgot. by the way how's your finger doing" Goten asks pointing at his finger
"yeah it's feeling a lot better now thanks to recovery girl" he raised his bandaged finger at Goten
"Hey you two wait up." the boys turned to see uraraka running towards them.
"oh hey ochaco is something wrong?" Goten asks as she approached them.
"I just wanted to know if you guys were going to the station too. and if so, hope you don't mind if i come along?" she asks
"Sure" the boys replied
"Thanks, that was seriously cool throws you guys. oh deku how's your finger doing." she asks which makes izuku flinch
"Huh whats wrong?"
"Deku is actually a name kacchan made to mock me it actually means useless." Izuku replied which made Goten and uraraka feel bad for him. Goten had heard stories from Gohan about how evil frieza is and one of his annoying habit was calling saiyans monkeys because of their tails.
"Oh I'm sorry i didn't know i just thought it was your actual name. And i kinda like Deku it would make a good hero name plus it sound kinda cute"
"DEKU IT IS!" Midoriya said blushing
"Dude didn't you just say it was an insult?" Goten asks
"well things change right" was Izuku's reply
'reminds me of trunks when he's trying to impress mai' Goten thought as the three headed to the train, unbeknownst to them they were being watched by two individuals from different spot one was bakugo who was annoyed at the fact that deku mysteriously got a quirk and at the fact that there was someone stronger than him 'I'm gonna crush you both'
The other figure that was watching them was Todoroki who was staring mostly at Goten. The boy who got ahead of everyone in the entrance exam when he got his letter, endeavor was furious to hear that someone surpassed his son. He tried getting information about him but couldn't find any. 'you're just an obstacle in my way' thought Todoroki before leaving.
