It is now the next morning and Stanley is ready to surprise Lester and his sister Samantha with Millie! Elsie will surely miss her but at least she knows Lester and Samantha will take good care of her! This chapter will be shorter than the last one but I don't think it needs to be that long anyway lol
The next morning Stanley and the pets wake up*
Stanley: Guys look! The storm's gone!
Elsie: Finally.. I thought it'd never end..
Joyce: Stanley! Are you awake?
Stanley: Yeah mom!
Joyce: *Opens door* Good morning hun I just got off the phone with Lester's parents
Stanley: Did they say they wanna adopt Millie?
Joyce: They sure did! I sent them an email of her pictures and they loved her! They want us to surprise Lester when he wakes up
Stanley: Yippee! Lester is gonna be so happy!
Joyce: Im sure he will be! Now lets walk over to his house and give her to him
Stanley: Ok!
They walk over to Lester's house*
Joyce: *Rings doorbell*
Nancy: Oh hello Joyce! And hello to you too Stanley!
Stanley: Hi Mrs Goldberg! We have Millie right here!
Nancy: Oh wonderful! Shes so cute! Lester is gonna be very excited! Come on in guys!
Wallace: Is this that kitten you were telling me about?
Nancy: Yep! Isnt she the sweetest thing?
Wallace: She certainly is cute! Where did you find her?
Joyce: During the storm yesterday I heard some noises coming from the backyard so I went to shoo it away thinking it was a raccoon but then I see this cute little kitten shivering and all wet from the rain so I took her in and got her fed and Elsie seems to have taken her in as her daughter
Stanley: Yeah! She was sad when we told her we couldnt keep her but then she lit up when I told her she'd be living here with you and Lester!
Wallace: *Pets Elsie* You're quite the foster mom arent you? Well honey lets go wake up Lester!
Nancy: Hes gonna be so excited! *Goes upstairs with Joyce*
Elsie: I'll miss having her around.. but at least she'll be in a good home!
Dennis: Shes certainly in good hands with Lester!
Stanley: Yeah! Lets see if Lester's awake yet *They go upstairs*
His room*
Stanley: Hey Lester! You awake yet?
Lester: Hmm? Oh hey Stanley! I didnt know you'd be coming over!
Joyce: We wanted to bring you a surprise!
Lester: Surprise? What surprise?
Wallace: Well son Mrs Griff found a kitten in the backyard during the storm last night and she couldnt find a home for it
Nancy: Until now! Say hello to your new kitten Millie!
Millie: Mew! *Purring near Lester*
Lester: Oh boy a kitten! Thanks mom and dad! And thank you Mrs Griff for saving her!
Stanley: You can also thank Elsie she mothered Millie all day yesterday!
Joyce: Yeah she was being such a good girl about the kitten! It caught me by surprise
Stanley: Well she was territorial with her at first but she eventually warmed up to her!
Lester: This is the best gift ever! Thanks everyone!
Stanley: You're welcome Lester!
Samantha: Whats going on Lester?
Lester: Hey Samantha look what Stanley and Mrs Griff gave us!
Samantha: Yay we have a pet! Thanks mom and dad!
Nancy: You should also thank Stanley and Mrs Griff for giving her to us!
Samantha: Thanks Stanley and Mrs Griff this is the best gift ever!
Lester: You bet it is!
Joyce: Hey I have an idea! Since the storm is over how about Lester and Samantha come over to our house so Stanley and them can play!
Lester: Oh mom dad can we please!
Samantha: Yeah can we?
Wallace: If its ok with Mrs Griff its fine by us!
Lester: Yay! Come on Stanley lets head over to your house!
Stanley: Alright! Maybe we can teach Millie some tricks!
Lester: And maybe teach her about animals!
Stanley: Today's gonna be so much fun! We gotta show Marci and Mimi too!
Lester: Lets go!
Cut to them outside walking to Stanley's house*
Elsie: *Sigh*
Dennis: Something wrong Elsie?
Elsie: Its just.. I know Millie's gonna be in a good home but im really gonna miss her..
Harry: I know how you feel! It was hard having to give up Little Dude but im happy as long as hes in a good home with his real mother! Or when I have to give away a toy! I really miss the toys I have given away..
Dennis: Giving away a toy isnt exactly the same as losing someone you loved Harry
Harry: I know I just wanted to show respect to the toys I have lost!
Dennis: Yes.. but he is right about one thing Elsie even if you are attached to something you eventually have to let it go.. thats just how life works nothing lasts forever im afraid
Elsie: I know..
Harry: Its ok Elsie you still have us!
Elsie: Thats one thing I hope I never have to give up *Hugs Harry and Dennis' tank*
Dennis: And dont be too sad you'll still see Millie every time we come over to Lester's house!
Harry: Or if he brings her to our house!
Elsie: True.. thanks guys I feel a lot better
Dennis: And thats what friends are for! Mama Elsie and Papa Harry hehe I like those names Millie and Little Dude gave you
Harry: Hey thats MAMA Harry to you Dennis! *They all laugh*
Samantha: I dont get it-
Harry: You had to be there dudette!
Lester: Thanks again for the kitten guys! And thank you Elsie for raising her!
Elsie: It was my pleasure Lester I loved raising this ball of sunshine..
Stanley: No problem Lester you've wanted a pet for a long time now so I thought I'd give you Millie!
Lester: Im so happy you did thank you so much Stanley!
Samantha: I've always loved cats they're better than dogs! Uh no offense.. whats your name again?
Harry: Its Harry! And none taken dude everyone's got preferences!
Lester: I personally love both! Now lets go have some fun with Millie!
Stanley: Yeah lets do it!
Harry: Right behind you dude!
Elsie: Count me in!
They run in the house with an establishing shot going outside it*
