As the sun rose on the horizon, the entire team gathered in the old, rugged 1967 Chevrolet Impala, setting out on their journey towards the menacing fortress of the Goblin King. Their plan may have seemed unconventional, but time was of the essence. They were driven by a deep sense of urgency to save an entire world from impending doom and prevent the treacherous Goblin King from escaping the Outlands. Their mission was not just an act of heroism; it was a solemn obligation to atone for previous failures and to safeguard the very fabric of existence.
Teresa took her place behind the wheel, her figure outlined by the early morning light as she confidently gripped the steering wheel. Adorned with the recently recovered Falcon pack, she exuded determination and purpose. Seated beside her were Rogue and Deadpool, the three of them forming an unyielding front line. Burdened with the weight of their mission, yet driven by unwavering resolve.
In the rear seats, Ty Lee, Barbra, and Miles sat in solemn silence, each with their own thoughts and fears, but bound by a shared determination to see this through. Meanwhile, atop the car, Indiana Jones perched in a makeshift seat, a rugged figure against the backdrop of the dawning day, embodying the spirit of adventure and resilience.
"Oh, we are going to go up there, like a fresh worm out of a bean, and shove up their asses," Rogue promised.
"I think what the Texan is trying to say is that getting that Lasso away from that psycho of a Goblin King isn't gonna be easy," Wade said as Indy stood up. "What is he doing?"
Indy then picked up what appeared to be a missile launcher. "Get me closer."
"That is a beauty, where did you guys get that?" Wade wonders.
"Oh, that? We got that from a pruned Taskmaster." Teresa explained.
"Which Taskmaster?" Wade wonders. "There has been like fifty of him."
"There's only been one Indy," Indy said with pride. "And there is only ever going to be one Indy."
Wade gave a quick nod and turned his gaze toward the imposing fortress on the horizon. As Indy fired the launcher, obliterating the barricade, chaos ensued, creating an opening for their entrance. Meanwhile, Ivy emerged from the ground with Harley, driving back hordes of enemies. Although Goblin was nowhere in sight, his vast army of criminals and henchmen from across the galaxies was quickly identified. Among them were easily recognizable figures like Bullseye and Juggernaut, while others resembled monstrous goblin-like creatures.
Teresa stepped out of the car, and the rest of the team followed suit. Wade and Rogue emerged from the side, joining forces with Indy, Ty Lee, Barbra, and Miles. As they gathered, the car's trunk suddenly popped open, revealing the surprise appearance of Peter Parker in his Spider-Man suit. With their combined forces, they stood as a united front, ready to confront the formidable Goblin Nation.
"Look who decided to join us," Rogue said with pride.
Peter nodded and even offered her a small smile in response. "What can I say? I needed someone to kick me in the barrel to get me rolling again."
Rogue appeared to take pride in Peter's revelation, while the team surveyed the Goblin Nation before them. They were met with the sight of a throng of adversaries blocking their path to the objective. Teresa, with a determined grip, seized her guns and twirled them, bracing herself to confront the impending horde.
"Oh, you know how long I have been waiting for this moment?" Rogue asked as she cracked her knuckles. "Oh, I am so going to enjoy this."
"I don't think we're all going to walk away from this one," Peter warned the crew.
"You just focus on the Goblin King," Indy said as he drew his gun and whip. "We'll get you that Lasso."
"You just make sure that when you get out of here, you tell them our stories," Miles asks of them. "We're not going to be left for dead."
"No, you're not," Peter agreed.
"Alright, gang," Wade said as he drew his swords. "Maximum effort!"
As chaos engulfed the scene, Teresa sprinted ahead, taking aim and firing shots at the encroaching monsters. Meanwhile, Ty Lee used her Chi-Bloicking skills in various directions to repel the assailants with her abilities. Miles maneuvered swiftly through the area, utilizing his bio-electricity to dart around with incredible speed, while Barbra skillfully hurled batarangs, utilizing her acrobatics to reach elevated platforms and unleash a flurry of precise strikes against the enemies manning the machine guns.
Ivy harnessed her connection to the plant world to fend off the monstrous horde, creating a path for Peter and Wade to advance toward the Goblin Fortress. Harley's gleeful laughter echoed as she expertly wielded her gun while swinging around a pole, peppering the surroundings with relentless gunfire. Indy deftly employed his whip to disarm multiple foes and force them to retreat, with Miles providing crucial support throughout the chaotic battlefield.
Peter and Wade ran into the fortress where they saw Golden Glider and Catwoman on the chains growling when they heard the two entering the fortress. Norman was sitting on his throne that was once The Mad Titan Thanos' throne. He chuckled when he looked over and saw that Wade and Peter had returned after escaping the first time around. He then pushed a button and the two women went running to attack as their chains were released. But all Peter had to do was web their ears and latch them back to the ground to get them to stop.
"Well, you can't hurt a man for trying to take the easy way out," Norman said as he looked toward the two heroes. "Now, escaping... that is one thing. But you must be insane to come back here. What were you expecting?" He asked the two as he stood up and marched over to them. "You would swoop in? Save the day? Take me out? Go home and be welcomed as heroes?"
"More or less," Wade admitted, preparing to fight. "I mean, we-"
Wade was suddenly struck by Norman's zap, sending him crashing into his wall of trophies. Glancing over, he spotted the Lasso within reach, just waiting to be seized while Norman was preoccupied. Meanwhile, Norman walked over and switched on a magnet, which pinned Peter's whole arm to the floor, making him grimace as he struggled to resist.
"Deadpools are a dime and a dozen here," Norman said as he kneeled to Peter. "But Spider-Men are so hard to come across. And you... it seems you have a hatred in your eyes." He commented as he heard the screams outside. "You can't have thought you were going to win this..."
Teresa was fighting against Bullseye, using her wings to block the throwing stars, and gave her an opening to use the jetpack and go flying and tackle Bullseye to the ground. Miles sent a giant blast of electricity toward Juggernaut, quickly getting him disoriented and allowing Miles to jump up and punch his helmet clean off. Ivy then came over and used a weed to sprout from the ground and impale the Juggernaut.
Ivy was then attacked from behind when one of the Goblin creatures shot a harpoon that impaled Ivy. Ivy looked down at the harpoon in her chest and gagged. Harley looked over and was worried as she ran over to her friend who fell to the ground and was struggling to breathe. Indy shot a few of the Goblins before they could take him out and used his whip to wrap around the neck of the creature and threw him around. But he was shot in his shoulder causing him to fall over and groan as he saw it was Zemo who shot him.
"You should have known that it was pointless to try and take away everything that I have built."
Miles zapped another one of the Mutants under Goblin's influence when he landed and felt his senses go off as Taskmaster threw his sword and embedded it into his back.
Barbra was still taking out the Goblins on the higher platforms threw a grapple hook and leaped off the ledge. When she landed on the ground, she pulled and forced the Goblins to fall over. But then she was shot by Dazzler who came marching over. Before she could finish the blow, Teresa and Ty Lee came in and shot Dazzler, taking her out. It seemed that they were the only ones who weren't injured or harmed.
"Back home, you were always destined to win, but here? My word is law."
Teresa ran over to Indy who wasn't dead yet but it wasn't looking good. He reached up to his neck and grabbed the crystal, handing it off to Teresa. Rogue flew over and slammed into Taskmaster to take him out, crushing his helmet and then punching his head in for payback for harming her friend. Miles stumbled to stand and Rogue saw it was too far embedded to remove the sword. He wasn't going to make it.
"I am the ruler of this realm. I am the Goblin King!"
Peter grunted and watched as Norman transformed into his monstrous form. He then approached Peter and snarled in his face, getting Peter to whimper in fear.
"That smell... your fear. It is intoxicating." Norman said with pride. "It took me five years, but I finally did it. I got you, Peter Parker..."
Peter teared up when his look of fear turned to one of a smile. He looked up to Norman and grinned. "No... I've got you."
Then all of a sudden, the Lasso of Truth was wrapped around Norman's torso, causing him to gasp in shock. He couldn't fight off as the lasso was able to fight him off and it was being held by Teresa and Ty Lee with help from Wade. Wade laughed as he leaped up and impaled his baby knife into Norman, causing him to roar in pain and agony.
"Yeah, that's right!" Wade cheered as he then deactivated the magnet to free Peter. "We're back, baby girl!"
"NO!" Norman screamed in anger. "You can't... take my power!"
"Is that true?" Teresa was relishing this moment. "You killed my friends. You hunted us for years. Now... we hold all of the power." She then began to use the power of the Lasso to depower the Goblin King. "This is it, Norman. You are no longer the Goblin King."
Goblin snarled as he felt his strength being stripped from him and he was slowly returning to his normal form. He then fell unconscious on the ground giving them a chance to figure out what to do.
"Where is everyone else?" Peter asks.
"This is all, sugah," Rogue was sorry to say.
"They didn't make it," Teresa said in sorrow.
"They fought and gave us this chance to escape," Ty Lee said as she carried Miles to the machine. She placed the crystal into the machine and saw that it was slowly humming, but it needed more power. "Miles? You're up."
Then they heard the roar of Eliminator and they saw he was closing in on their fortress. Without Norman having his powers, that meant that he couldn't fight off the Eliminator and keep him from consuming them.
"Uh, don't mean to rush you, but we have a cloud of death coming for us," Wade warned them.
Miles then saw that it was up to him.
Miles crawled towards the portal. He grabbed the portal and started to use all of his energy and pass it into the machine. It was a lot of energy, and he had never released so much energy before. He gritted his teeth and focused all of his energy on the portal. He ended up releasing all of the energy that he could and got the machine to activate. But the energy was too much for Miles as he fell down and winced in pain.
"Miles!" Ty Lee ran over to his side. "Come on, we can make it."
"No..." Miles groaned in pain. "Go...go."
They saw that Miles was telling them to leave him behind for the Eliminator before he could kill them all. They raced off towards the portal while the Eliminator approached the fortress. They raced and leaped into the portal, leading them to the TVA fortress. The surviving resistance all looked up as they saw the portal activated through the eye of the giant skull and saw as the heroes escaped through the vortex and were off to save their world.
EARTH PRIME: NEW YORK CITY:
As the people of the city navigated the streets of New York like normal, everything seemed ordinary until, without warning, Teresa, Peter, Wade, and Ty Lee plummeted from the sky and landed on a car. It appeared that the portal they had traveled through was positioned at the same elevation as the fortress, transporting them across realities but not altering their spatial location, resulting in their fall from the fortress's height.
With a collective groan, they started to get out of the crushed car, each lending a hand to the other. Peter extended his hand to Rogue, assisting her as she slid off of the top of the car. Now standing close, they were so near that their gazes were fixed solely on each other.
"You okay?" Peter asked Rogue.
"Yeah, I'm alright, sugah," Rogue promised, looking up and blushing at how close they were.
"Whoa." A kid said in surprise. "That's Deadpool."
"And that's Spider-Man." another said.
"You're damn straight it is," Wade stated as he walked over to Peter and Rogue. "The other one was getting old. We can milk this one for a few years, then when he and Rogue learn to have kids, we can milk them."
"What?" Peter asked in shock.
"Kids?" Rogue was just as confused.
"Hey," Ty Lee called out, whistling as they looked toward where she was. "The TVA is still gonna blow this place sky high, remember?"
"She's right," Peter said as they ran off. "Come on!"
In the desolate Outlands, Norman groaned as he stood up, feeling the familiar surge of power signaling his transformation back into the Goblin King. He looked around and noticed the Eliminator was nowhere to be seen, leaving him in solitude. His gaze settled on the portal that hummed with energy, and a broad smile crept over his face at the thought of his impending freedom.
"Hehehehehe..." Norman chuckled. "The itsy bitsy spider...made a huge mistake."
He just needed to make one quick stop...
