Mephiles the Dark retrieves all 7 Chaos Emeralds while floating within fresh Iblis.
"I've faced many delays throughout 2 centuries. But in the end I've finally regained what's rightfully mine."
2 entities, now fused into Solaris destroy the platform where survivors stood. Eggman and Elise (and already motionless Sonic) didn't make it.
"However, these annoying pests were still a threat to my conquest..."
Solaris launched from his body the volcano-crystal reflections of remaining heroes.
"... so I set in motion their rapid elimination."
Miles Prower's revenant sat on the Original's back, pulling one of his tails (Boston Crab style).
Omega's revenant ripped Original's arms apart from body
"And they did not disappoint."
Knuckles' revenant drags Original's head to the water, drowning him.
Silver's revenant used telekinesis to drag Original's body into a lava.
"One by one, my enemies were falling."
Rouge's revenant grabbed Original's arm with one hand, and palms it from below with another one.
Amy's revenant impales Original's heart using Melhiles' lance technique.
Shadow's revenant brings Original in immobilised state for his execution at Solaris' hand.
"Until no opposition remained."
The deity floats absorbs energy into it's body.
"With all obstacles out of the way, I can begin my eternal reign over the universe."
A/N: Since the word "revenant" surged through my mind, here's how I figure the Arcade Mode:
- Chosen character will be Incident's sole survivor.
- The remaining characters will fall to their revenant counterparts.
- Chosen One must defeat revenants to retrieve Chaos Emeralds.
- When all 7 Chaos Emeralds are retrieved, Mephiles will be Round 1's sub-boss.
- Being defeated once, Mephiles transforms into Solaris for the Final Round.
- If you win, you get ending.
