Chiro never truly realized it until he tried to fit in them himself.

He went onto Sprx's bed. He wanted to know what it felt like, and it felt small. Comfortable, but it was definitely not made for more than two people, if at all. There wasn't a lot of room for Chiro to move around in. It was a good thing he didn't need to readjust himself too much whenever he went to sleep. This wouldn't allow much readjustment without discomfort in some way. Sprx, or any of the other monkeys for that matter, would have an easier time with that.

"This is kinda… snug." Chiro admitted.

Sprx snickered as he climbed in. "Hey, at least we can both fit in here. Pretty comfortably too, might I add, with you right here."

He wrapped an arm around Chiro. Sprx continuously ran his index finger down Chiro's chest. He had a cheeky smirk on his face. Chiro simply rolled his eyes in response. One end of his lip curled up just slightly though. He moved his hand from the side of the bed to Sprx's face, all in a playful manner.

"Yeah, yeah, butter me up why don't you." Chiro said.

Sprx only laughed at what he said. Despite that, Chiro became too comfortable to move out of the bed. They stayed there and enjoyed each other's company. The only reason Chiro managed to get out of Sprx's bed a couple hours later was because Otto needed him.

Chiro's scent lingered on the sheets and pillow for a while. Sprx smiled whenever he laid down in his bed, having a bit of Chiro there with him even if he wasn't around. His tail wagged wildly for the first few minutes of laying down.

The pilot slept better during those nights.

Antauri simply raised an eyebrow when Chiro asked if he could lay in their bed.

"I wanna know how yours felt," Chiro explained, "since we never rest in it whenever we sleep in here."

"I see." Antauri stepped aside and laid his arm out. "I must warn you that it's small."

Chiro walked over to their bed and laid in it. The difference between their bed and Sprx's was noticeable right away. Antauri's was smaller like he said, though not by much, and it was difficult to get comfortable in it. He wasn't even sure if Antauri could fit in here with him. It was no wonder that they all had a separate mattress just for all five of them to lay in whenever they slept in a pile together. He didn't even know their beds were different sizes until now.

Maybe Chiro could get comfortable if he was exhausted and he needed to be beside Antauri because of a nightmare, but that was it.

They walked in front of the bed. Before he could get a word out, Chiro grabbed them and pulled him into the bed. Antauri let out a gasp in response. Their bodies were pressed against one another, not a single bit of distance between them. Chiro didn't mind being next to him like this, but it might be uncomfortable for them.

"…Yeah, maybe we should just stick to sleeping in my room."

"Agreed. This is… uncomfortable, to say the least." Antauri looked away.

Chiro let go of Antauri and let him get off the bed first. He got off right after him and brushed himself off. He readjusted his sweater.

"Well, thanks Anta. Kinda dumb, but I had to satisfy my curiosity there."

They raised their hand. "Nothing dumb about it. It was mere curiosity that, as you said, had to be satisfied."

He smiled. "I'll see you at dinner then." Chiro kissed his cheek.

They waved each other goodbye for the time being.

Chiro plopped down onto his bed.

It was a long day and all he wanted was to fall asleep. He sighed as he hoped tomorrow wouldn't be as busy as it was today. All he wanted to do was rest and be lazy. He doubted that Antauri or Gibson would allow it, but a teen could dream.

He then heard the door whoosh open. Chiro looked to his side to see Antauri and Sprx coming in. The two laid next to Chiro with Antauri on his right side and Sprx on his left. They held onto Chiro.

"Oh, hey guys." Chiro tiredly said. "Whatcha doing here?"

"Tired, we wanna be next to ya."

"Gibson's in his lab, and Nova and Otto are sleeping together in Nova's room. We cannot fit in her bed as well, so we decided to sleep next to you tonight."

Chiro smiled at them. He kissed Antauri's forehead and kissed Sprx's lips. He wrapped his arms around them and kept them close to him. He rested his head on Antauri's.

"That's fine with me." Chiro responded. "I get to have two of my favorite monkeys beside me tonight."

Antauri's and Sprx's tails intertwined. Chiro didn't care too much to get any of them under the blanket. They fell asleep just the way they were, nothing to cover them but comfortable and next to each other.

The Super Robot was kind enough to turn the lights off for the three.
