Marinette is now the leader of Voltron and is now left to deal with a returned Shiro as well as recusing the Galaxy from the Galra Empire that still is thriving. Keith has adjusted to life in Paris but his friend Adrien is struggling with his training to become the next Guardian and balance everything else in his life. Will these heroes be able to maintain the status quo?

44. Chapter 44(Miraculous)

Chapter 44: Timetagger(Part 1)(Zoe's POV)

"My name is Zoe, it rhymes with Chloe, and snowy, showy, doughy….."

"That's a rap fail." blurts out an electronic voice from Alya's phone.

"I'm terrible at this."

Alya smiles, "Don't worry my friend Marrinette is the same way. Can't rap decently to save her life."

"Heh. Guess her and I have a lot more in common than I thought."

"Well that gurl wants to be a fashion designer and you want to be an actress. Not similar at all."

Zoe chuckles, "I guess not. So they still haven't found her? It's been months since she disappeared."

Alya's smile dampens, "Yeah, the police are thinking she's dead somewhere."

"Alya can I play Freestyle clash with you guys. I don't want to play with your siblings anymore." asks a young kid with brown hair and round glasses suddenly startling Zoe.

"Sorry Chris, this is a game for big kids."

"Is it really though Alya? All we're doing is making dumb rhymes trying to rap."

"Of course it is. Besides you have my siblings to play….."

"But I don't want to play with them. All they do is keep pranking me and blaming it on some stupid Sapotis thing."

"Maybe we should just let him play with us if your siblings are being mean to him."

"Zoe I'll be right back after I….."

Suddenly an akuma alert blares on Alya's phone.

"Breaking news, has once again resurfaced as an akuma….."

Zoe rolls her eyes, "Not this guy again."

"I know right, Chat Noir and the rest of Team Miraculous easily beat him in five minutes last time. Didn't even take any tricks or nothing. Which means there's going to be no time to get footage for the Noireblog."

"Hey, your blog is still trendy. Just because nothing interesting has happened as of late doesn't mean any content regarding Team Miraculous is going to fall out of style. And I have to quickly use the bathroom….."

"Go ahead, I need to talk to my younger sisters anyway."

And with that, Zoe makes her getaway. But seriously, going to deal with Mr. Pigeon is annoying. He's not hard to beat and by the time she gets there he'll have already been defeated most likely.

Making it a waste of her time and a perfectly good Saturday to spend time with her only friend in her civilian life. Sure she has her sister Chloe, but it isn't the same and she's pretty sure her sister would rather be with Keith than her anyday anyways.

And she's right by the time she gets there Chat Noir is already delivering the cataclysm to the akuma.

But as quickly as she had gotten here, Chat Noir leaves and she follows suit…..

Keith's POV

"Alright guys we did it, pound it….." His cheer of hurrah trails off when he notices that the rest of the team left already. Of course. They probably had more important things to do than to check up on Monsieur Ramier, considering it's been, what, the one thousandth time he's been akumatized. He stopped counting after the tenth time it happened.

"Oh dear, where am I? Marmora, why are you…. Oh good grief I must have been akumatized again. I am so sorry for the inconvenience. How about some ice cream to make up for it?"

Keith sighs, he was going to something else today, a date with Chloe perhaps, or a family hangout with Adrien and the Dupain-Chengs, but since his teammates have decided not to make sure Monsieur Ramier is okay, might as well take up his offer, and make that he is in fact okay. Then he can go back to whatever he was going to do.

"Sure why not."

"Really, I'm not being a bother by asking, am I? You do have a life just like me…."

"It's fine. It's a Saturday anyway, nothing I was doing was too important."

"Then ice cream it is! And I really am sorry for being akumatized it's just you know how I get about my birds…"

Somewhere in the sewers of Paris:

Zoe's POV

"Adrien, are you really sure we should have left Keith behind like that!" yells Chloe.

"He didn't tell us about Voltron, the Galra and Ladybug until one of Master Fu's Master's asked if he knew anything. Why should we trust him with anything?"

"So you're saying just because he didn't tell us something, you can't trust him?"

"I don't know how you can still trust him and be by his side and go on dates with him. He never told you any of this, he lied to you and me about when his dad died and to the whole class!"

"Adrien….. He isn't like your dad…."

"I didn't say he was, all I said is that I can't trust him to be a part of Team Miraculous anymore. Or trust that he says is the truth. Ladybug was my first friend, my first love and Keith knew where she was the whole time….."

"Sorry to break this lovely argument up, but what the heck is going on? I know what Keith said a few nights ago was shocking, but why can't we trust him exactly? He's saved our necks quite a few times, and has better combat skills than the rest of us." Zoe states. Honestly, Adrien is acting like a baby. If she were in Keith's position, she wouldn't tell anybody either until someone asked if she suspected something and a friend of her pleaded to know what she knows.

Wow, it didn't take him long to forgive Keith about the whole Voltron thing.

"Sure thing." Chloe grins.

"Maybe now we can discover who Hawkmoth really is. Since meeting up won't be so hard anymore."

"Yeah," Adrien agrees, nervously.

"Adrien, you do not seem to like that idea," Kagami points out.

"It's just the last time Ladybug and I found a lead to who Hawkmoth might be, it suggested my dad. I'm not really ready to face him after what happened on Christmas if it turns out to be true. He did have the Grimoire afterall and we don't know if Hawkmoth can akumatize himself….."

"Well you'll have us by your side, now that we all know each other's identities our bond has become even stronger. We got this."

"But a few minutes ago I doubted Keith until you all made me see reason. I'm not sure I'm cut out for this since I couldn't even trust my own teammate."

"But you have trust in him again don't you. And like Chloe said our bond is getting stronger. And we all make mistakes here and there." Zoe reaffirms.

"Okay. We got this,"

Meanwhile On the Seine Bridge:

No One's POV

"Yo, yo, I'm going to blast you back into the past. Make you history by shooting a beam made out of misery!"

's about evil aliens who want to rule the universe and are also bent on getting a mech that consists of five lions making Voltron.

"You too? He withheld where Ladybug is, we could'v….."

This time Kagami interjects, "Done what? Our spaceships are incapable of travelling the universe without it taking months and she could be anywhere in the Galaxy by then. And she could have moved to a location where Keith does not know the coordinates of after the few days after the switch that he spent here. There is no point in wondering the what if's when there are too many variables at play. Besides, I consider Keith a friend. So what if he withheld that he was chosen to be a pilot of a ten thousand year old mech, he is still the same person. Is that not what you were trying to get at Chloe."

"Yes, it was."

Zoe sighs, what the heck is going on? She still doesn't understand what the big conundrum is regarding Keith. So he had a secret, what of it. Like Kagami pointed out there isn't much they can do, really.

So then why is Adrien being so adamant on it being a big deal. Tons of people hide things from other people, even those they're close to. Granted those things are less grand than being chosen to pilot a giant mech and save the universe, but still. The point stands.

Adrien sighs, "I guess you do have a point Kagami, I just feel hurt is all that he couldn't tell me without it having to be needled out of him. He's like a brother to me, and we've been through so much. It's been hard to keep the facade up of me and Chat Noir being different and pretending that I don't know about Voltron and all that. Maybe now that I've come to my senses, being around him won't be as hard as when I was hurting."

Zoe nods in agreement, as she doesn't know what to say to that. The others do the same thing.

"How about we all have a sleepover tonight at your room Chloe, we could tell him then." Adrien suggests, moving on from the previous conversation with ease.
