Keena's POV

I stealthaly went downstairs as I slipped my shoes on quiatly, I then walked outside into the crisp morning air. It was almost sunrise, but I needed some fresh air... I walked around for a while as I let my mind wonder. I was already dressed for the day, I couldn't wait to go to the Academy. Afterall my best friends in the whole world were there, who are my best friends you may ask? Well they are none other then Hyuga Hinata and Uchiha Izumi. Hinata-Chan is the Heiress of the Hyuga clan, and Izumi-Chan is a member of the Uchiha clan like me.

I was suddnly brought out of my thoughts when I herd my mom calling for me. I stood up as I began skipping back to the entrance of the compound. My mother was a very Beautiful woman with long black hair and kind black eyes. Her name is Mikoto Uchiha. My father is... Well he's... A bit strict at times, but he is a good father to my brothers and I. He has black hair and calculating but kind black eyes. My fathers name is Fugaku Uchiha.

"Wow, you're up early, aren't you Keena? Anyways... Do you want to help me make breakfast?" Mikoto asked, as I gave an enthusiastic nod, my mother gave a warm smile in response.

As my mom and I headed into the kitchen, I gave a warm smile as I saw Itachi and Sasuke sitting at the table.

"Good morning Itachi, good morning Saduke. I'm helping Kaa-San make breakfast." I said with a bright smile.

After I had finished making breakfast with Kaa-San, Itachi spoke up as he turned to where I was seated next to our mother.

"Hay, Keena-Chan? After school I'll help you train." I gave a foxy grin in response. Sasuke gave a pout as Itachi spoke to him next.

"Hay Sasuke, I'll help you after I help Keena, okay?" Itachi asked as Sasuke nodded slowly in response.

I giggled quietly at my younger brother as he pouted and stuck his tongue out at me. Mikoto sighed as she gently scolded Sasuke.

"Hay, Keena-Chan? Are you alright?" Izumi asked me, as I gave a tired smile. Izumi was also an Uchiha, she was my childhood best friend, I had met Hinata-Chan after I had saved her from some bullies, and we've been friends ever since then.

"Hay, Keena-Chan? Keena-Chan. Come on wake up, It's lunch time." I slowly opened my eyes. I then looked at the worried faces of Izumi-Chan and Hinata-Chan. I slowly stood up, but suddenly the world spun and I stumbled. Hinata-Chan caught me before my face became best friends with the floor.

"Are you sure you're alright, Keena-Chan?" Hinata asked as I stood to my feet. I gave a tired sigh as I spoke up.

"I think I'm just tired." I said as I rubbed my eyes.

"Keena-Chan, were you out training late again? I told you to be more careful." Izumi said with a frown as I gave a sheepish smile.

"I'm sorry, Izumi-chan. I was training with Itachi and we lost track of time." I replied as I rebrand my hair, which had come loose early that day.

Once we finished our lunch we headed back to the classroom, I kept stumbling along the way. I laid my head on my desk once we sat down, I noticed both Izumi-Chan and Hinata-Chan giving me concerned looks. I rubbed my eyes as I tried to stay awake.

I must have fallen asleep, because I found myself in the nurses office. I then noticed both Izumi-Chan and Hinata-Chan staring at me with worry on their faces.

"Keena-Chan! You're awake, how do you feel?" Izumi asked as I opened my mouth to speed, but a cough interrupted my attempt. I felt Hinata's hands sit me up as I caught my breath.

I gave a soft groan as I tried to stand up, but a familiar hand grabbing my arm made me pause, I looked up to see the stern but worried face of Itachi. I blinked twice as I regained the ability to speak.

"I-Itachi? W-what are you doing here?" I asked as he frowned. Sometimes I feel like Itachi is a bit overprotective of me, but I understand why, I train myself to hard most of the time.

"Well, for one you looked pale this morning, and your friends have informed me that you have been falling asleep in class. And the final thing, you feel warm, witch means that you have a fever." I pouted, Itachi could always tell how I feel or if I'm lying. So of course he would notice if I get sick. Although to be honest I had been feeling really tired today and a little warm, but I just thought it was from training most of the previous night with Itachi.

I was brought out of my thoughts when Hinata-Chan spoke up.

"I can take her home Itachi-San, I men do you have a mission?" I blinked up at Itachi as I gave him an, did you forget look as he gave a frown.

"How did you know? Oh I'm guessing Keena-Chan told you right?" He asked as they both nodded. Then he gave a thankful smile as he headed to meet his teammates for there mission.

So after a few minutes of silence, I found myself walking home with Hinata-Chan and Izumi-Chan. All though after I stumbled three times in a row, she insisted that I ride on her back. I tried to stay awake but I ended up falling asleep, Izumi didn't mind at all. In fact she had sternly told me to be quiet and sleep, I think she got it from Itachi and Mikoto.

That's how my mother saw us as she opened the door, by that point I was awake but my vision was blurry. Sasuke was still at the academy, I vagly remembered telling Sasuke that I would get him from his class later that day.

"Keena-Chan? Are you alright?" Mikoto asked as I slowly climbed off Izumi-Chan's back. I slowly nodded as I gave a tired smile.

"Mikoto-Chan? If you don't mind, since school ended we'll help Keena-Chan." Hinata spoke up as I gave a warm smile as I sat at the table.

I awoke to something cold on my forehead, I had to close my eyes at the bright light. Once my vision was clear, I looked over to see my mom, Izumi-Chan and Hinata-Chan all looking relieved. I tried to talk but my mom shook her head as she spoke quiatly.

"Keena-Chan, don't try to talk, you need to rest." I frowned in response as she gave a knowing smile. I gave a happy smile to my friends as I let my eyes close.

When I awoke next, it was dark outside. Had I slept all day? I thought as I slowly sat up. I brushed the tangled knots in my hair as I quietly changed into my pajamas. I was wearing a black nightgown as usual. I walked downstairs to see my father and Itachi talking. I was about to go back to my room, but Itachi turned to me as he asked.

"Keena-Chan, How are you feeling?" He asked as I answered.

"I feel better, I still feel tired." I said as I looked words my father. I gave a quick bow as I spoke respectfully.

"Hello father, good evening." I spoke with no emotion on my face.

Then my father asked me a question as Itachi glanced from me to Fugaku.

"Good evening, but if I may ask, why are you up this late Keena?" He said as I shrugged in response.

After a few minutes of silence, Itachi spoke up.

"Father? Would it be alright if I taught Keena-Chan the fireball jutsu?" He asked as I blinked.

"Yes that will be fine, she is a faster learner after all, I think she got that from you Itachi." I gave a shy grin in my fathers direction as we all stood up and headed to get some sleep.

The next morning I awoke early as I washed my hair and brushed the bangs out of my eyes. I slowly walked downstairs and helped my mother make breakfast, while we cooked she asked how I was felling as I told her I felt tired even though I had slept for most of the day yesterday. We both looked up when we saw Itachi and Sasuke enter the kitchen, I gave a guilty look in Sasuke's direction as he just blinked in confusion. I then tried to duck underneath the pan that I was holding as Itachi stared at me. I gave a startled yelp when the palm of my right hand accidentally touched the still burning hot pan. I set the pan carefully back on the stove as I brushed my sweaty bans out of my eyes, I then put my hand underneath cold water at the concerned looks that all three of them gave me.

I walked to the academy with Sasuke as usual, but Sasuke kept giving me worried glances the whole way there. As we got closer to the entrance however, I suddenly stumbled and with a panicked yelp Sasuke caught me. 'What's wrong with me?' I thought as I stood shakily to my feet, was I not fully recovered from my fever? I slowly made my way to my classroom as I took my seat next to Izumi-Chan and Hinata-Chan. They both gave me concerned looks as I fixed my brad, it had fallen loose during breakfast this morning. My hands felt sweaty and clammy as I rubbed my temples. My sharingan suddenly activated a few minutes later, and in my panic I couldn't turn it off. My head was pounding and my sharingan was not helping in the slightest. I help back a cry of pain as I noticed the panicked faces of Izumi-Chan and Hinata-Chan, My eyes rolled into the back of my head and I collapsed onto the floor.

I awoke a few hours later to a harsh beeping sound and a breathing tube in my throat and a mask on my face. "What? W-where am I?" I thought as I began to panic as my sharingan activated and the mask fell off my mouth. I panicked even more when another beeping sound was herd. Then the door open and a doctor came rushing in followed by my parents and Itachi.

"Keena-Chan, don't scare us like that, you scared us all half to death." Itachi said as his voice came out in a choked sob as he barried his face in my shoulder. I looked up at my father with a helpless expression as my parents came closer to me. My mother stroked my hair as I rubbed Itachi's back with my free hand. I had never scene Itachi cry, so it terrified me when he had broke down crying on my shoulder. My mother then spoke up suddenly as I lifted my head.

"You really scared him Keena, you scared us all." I bowed my head in shame, but Mikoto lifted my chin as she kissed the top of my head. Itachi finally raied his head as I met his gaze.

"I'm sorry I scared you so much, Itachi." I said as I sat up slowly. I then pulled my older brother into a comforting embrace. We stayed like that until my father cleared his throat, once he had gained our attention, then he began speaking.

"Keena, I'm glad that you're alright, just, don't scare us like that again." I gave a slow nod. I was about to speak but a harsh cough ripped through my thought, as I removed my hands from my mouth, I was horrified when I saw blood. I let out a terrified scream as a frantic looking nurse came rushing into the room.

"I understand, Father." I said, and he nodded his head and left the room to and pick Sasuke up from school. I sighed softly as I stared up at the ceiling.
