Out in the night Jake could do nothing more but stand still in caution as the tall man in the white hat walked up to him with a big smile on his face and big bright yellow eyes glimmering like diamonds.

?: No need to worry my friend, i come in peace Jake

Jake was then shocked to hear the tall being say his name like he knew him, which led to concerns and confusion that clouded his mind as he took a few steps back from the guy.

Jake: wh-who are you? And...how do you my name?...and Diane's, Leo's and Emma's?

?: Who am i you ask? Hehe...

The tall being gave a big smile and spun around dazzlingly while approaching Jake in a flash and with bow.

?: Then i shall introduce myself!

Jake was surprised as the tall man opened his big yellow eyes while giving a big welcome smile.

?: I am the magic man who never tires of his audience! I'm the maestro who brings positivity and happiness to all who enter my theatre! My name is Balan, pleasure to meet you.

Jake: oh...um...pleasure meeting you to sir...

Balan: now i know you find it strange talking to guy like me, but no worries my friend.

Though Jake was concerned and worried at first but he slowly began to like Balan and his cheerful personality as he shook the maestro's hand.

Jake: yeah, it's just that...

Balan: i know your worries Jake.

Jake: Y-you do?

Balan: yes, you've spent your life living in a orphanage where all those kids were so mean to you and your good friend Diane, and i've seen that horrid man take you both away to this alleyway and when you found those two sweet kids Leo and Emma, i understand the difficulties you four have been carrying around through out your lives, but now i want to help you all.

Jake: but...How? Our problems are not easy to solve...

The poor boy felt down when Balan placed his hand on his shoulder, cheering him up

Balan: I know it may be hard, but remember that you always wanted to find the family for you four, you've been wishing for it your entire life, haven't you Jake?

Jake: yeah...that's right, and Balan, if you are willing to, will you help me, Diane, Leo and Emma find the family we can love and they can love us?

Balan: I will my boy, and that's promise i will keep

Jake: Thanks.

Jake gave a warm smile as he thanked Balan for offering help, but before anything the Maestro snapped his fingers as glowing dust surrounded Jake and the other three as they were then magically teleported into a bedroom with four beds, he saw Diane, Leo and Emma sleeping peacefully on each one as there was one left for Jake, he even noticed he was now wearing white pajamas and the others were no different.

Jake: W-what is this place?

Balan: this is the Balan Theatre, My home and gateway to wonderworld.

Jake: Wonderworld?

The green haired guy looked around the bedroom for a moment then looked at Balan again.

Balan: and now you's call this place your home.

Jake: Balan...Thank you

Jake gave Balan the biggest hug he had ever given to anyone, the maestro hugged him then placed the tired Jake in the bed just for him and tucked him in the soft and comfy blanket.

Balan: sweet dreams.

Balan the walked out of the room closing the door behind him quietly as Jakw then went to sleep peacefully in his new bed with the fluffy blanket wrapped around him.

As the morning sun rose up to wake the day, Jake was rubbing his eyes ready for the start of this new grand day when he felt on his shoulder as he woke and sat down on the bed to see Emma with a worried face, she was already changed out of her pajamas.

Emma: Jake, You're up!

Jake: Emma? What's the matter?

He turned to see Leo and Diane who have also changed into their clothes looking around the room wondering where they are And how did they get here.

Jake: you guys, what's going on?

Diane: we don't know, but i don't think we're safe here...

Jake: not safe? Don't worry we'll be fine.

Leo: fine? Are you even aware of the fact we don't know why we're here?

Jake: it's ok, he's gonna take good care of us.

They all then looked at for moment with confused faces as Jake started to feel confused at the others.

Leo: he? Who is he?

Then coming into the room, the maestro himself entered through the door.

Balan: That would be me, my boy.

Diane: ah!

Leo and Emma rushed to a corner feeling frightened as Diane tried to look for something to use as weapon but Jake stood up off the bed and tried to calm them down.

Jake: guys wait! Calm down!

Diane: calm down?

Jake: please, let me explain! I promise Balan isn't gonna hurt us.

Emma: Balan?

Leo: you mean that man behind you with the white hat?

Jake: yeah, that's him.

Balan: no need to afriad Leo i just came here bringing breakfast for you all, Including Jake, Emma and you too Diane my dear.

Diane: How do you know our names?

Jake: i'll explain it, last night when i went up to the roof of the alleyway it was there i met him and i asked for help and he brought us all here for his theatre to be our new home.

With everything explained by Jake, his friends settled down and then looked at Balan who was holding a tray with two bowls of cereal and two cups of hot coco. Jake went over and took a bowl of cereal from the tray

Jake: thanks Balan

Balan: Anytime Jake

Jake: c'mon guys have some breakfast. You can't start the day with a empty stomach

with no other option, Diane, Leo and Emma decided to have breakfast with Jake too as Emma and Diane took the cups of hot Coco and Leo took the the cereal bowl, they all had a pretty enjoyable breakfast

Diane: Wow! This hot Coco is amazing!

Emma: i'm with Diane, this tastes incredible Mr. Balan

Leo: hmm, i'll admit this cereal is something unique.

Balan: there you go! See? I'm a perfectly good guy.

Diane: yeah, i really like you Balan.

Jake: hey Balan.

Balan: yes my boy?

Jake: you know about this Wonderworld you mentioned last night?

Leo: Wonderworld?

Balan: you wanna see the place do ya my friend?

Jake: Y-yes, that's right

Emma: sounds like a cool place!

Diane: can we come too?

Balan: of course! This theatre is your home, and so is wonderworld! Now there's a train that will take you there but it won't arrive till the afternoon so, make yourselves at home and feel free to explore this place!

Jake: will do Balan, c'mon guys let's check this place out!

Leo: right behind ya bro

The four friends went out the bedroom to explore the Balan theatre as they raced each other down the stairs and explored everywhere together

Balan: *chuckles* oh i love kids these day, they're so full of joy

It may have taken a short time but now our four friends have found a place they can call home thanks to our favourite Maestro, and now they'll soon check out wonderworld in chapter 4!
