So here we demonstrate that Stripes and Bacon Bit are really forming a Big Sister/Little Sister relationship and here we demonstrate Bacon Bit does have a bit of keeping secrets but she is a kid and she doesn't have the best frame of reference for living in society given how she was raised
As Glass Joe and Dana ate their supper of beef stew and rolls, Joe quietly thought about the fact he was eating so much better now that he had Dana cooking for him! Before he had a habit of living off coffee and baguettes, he remembered in preparation for his wedding he got a tuxedo fitting and with him came his best friend Von Kaiser, with Disco Kid and Don Flamenco coming along as 'fashion consultants' but really they just wanted to talk to him about his experiences.
During the measurements it was noticed the circumference of his waist had grown a few inches and Disco Kid asked if he had gained weight, a Joe blushed and said it probably because he now had a woman cooking for him.
Meanwhile Stripes and Bacon Bit walked all the way to the ledge where she heard Stripes playing her steel drum, together the Tigress and Piglet sat together on the ledge both neither feeling any fear of each other...Both seeing each other as Mutant Animals, something different from ordinary animals.
And Bacon Bit did something she probably shouldn't have done and told Stripes about the boxers inviting her to hear the rest of the story alone, and Stripes was a little miffed she wasn't invited that the boxers assumed she was also among the 'sensitive' Mutants!
"Bacon Bit…" Stripes said "...I know they invited you, but could I come with you? At the very least can I walk you to the gym I don't think it's safe for a small and younger Mutant like you to go all the way there all by yourself."
Bacon Bit because of how much she respected the Mutant Tigress agreed.
Stripes then wrapped an arm around Bacon Bit's shoulders as they listened to the quiet night in Forest. Stripes said
"I saw Von Kaiser has PTSD Symptoms yesterday…" Stripes said "...Now that you've said you wish to do something for him I had an idea...I was created to be a combo of nurse and therapy animal...But I have an idea you could fill a that role for Von Kaiser...But this will also include asking him to adopt you."
"Gee," Bacon Bit said bashfully "If you've been trained for this kind of stuff then wouldn't it be better if you did it?"
"I don't think he would accept a Bengal Tiger living with him…" Stripes "...Particularly after what I did yesterday, but I saw the way he responds to your Bacon Bit...I think he has a fondness for you too! I think this might be beneficial for both of you…"
So like I said Stripes is trying to use Bacon Bit to vicariously work through her, but she is well-meaning and just wants to help others
