FieLover: I can confirm I am in the hospital due to the cuteness of Fie and Rean (jk jk). Great chapter btw! I so excited when it updated and now I'm even more curious how will Rean's powers be going from here on. Relon played Alisa so good, that part made me laugh so much.

I am sorry to say but your symptoms consist of high cuteness and an massive load of UWU have gotten too deep in your systems lol. You're gonna need less romance and more plot. Aside from that, it puts a smile on my face hearing you got excited over the chapter notification :D. Rean's powers are going to be vital with the emergence of Senate as well as the other villain groups and believe it or not, the Alisa skit was actually something real that occurred between my sister and I. Not Cold Steel related but you get the point XD.

tackler5rb: Finally had time to catch up on your updates! Also never gotten a shout out before by an author so that was cool back in chapter 22. i am loving the Rean x Fie moments! I wonder how they will react to Claire at the Field Study.

Well, you along with the rest are kind enough to review so a shoutout is only reasonable :). And I'm glad you're loving the Rean x Fie moments! I loved it in all four games and I plan on expanding their friendship/relationship. As for Claire... hahaha, it'll be interesting.

Speedkarate: Nice crafts for Relon.
I can tell I am looking which place Relon go to Field study. I am looking forward to it.

Thank ya thank ya. The Field Study is something I'm looking forward to as well considering I just started writing it this morning. Hopefully you all will like it.

SOD: YOOOOO

Andrew: Why did you upload another chapter? You just uploaded one yesterday.

SOD: Well we hit 40 followers so another milestone achieved equals another chapter.

Andrew: So what, every 10 followers equals a chapter?

SOD: I guess. Who knows.

Andrew: You are very indecisive.

SOD: TELL ME SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW.

TO ALL MY READERS, THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE AND SUPPORT OF THIS STORY!

NEXT MILESTONE: 50 FOLLOWERS

Heading down the steps, Relon meets Rean already at their mailbox.

"Morning." He greets.

"Hey, surprisingly we don't have that much to do." Rean notes handing Relon the requests.

"Let's see... only three?"

"Yeah, I was expecting much more as well."

"Hmm... We have search, delivery, and expedition requests. Not much but these can certainly take time."

"Better to get started as early as possible." Rean comments to gain a nod in agreement from Relon.

"Yeah. I'm not exactly looking forward to another visit at the Old Schoolhouse but I guess it can't be helped."

"You're telling me. Well, we might as well get started."

"Yeah. The sooner, the better." Relon nods, the two departing.

"Now that I think about it, we may want to get some of the others."

"Hm? What for?"

"For when we decide to go into the Old Schoolhouse. Strength in numbers after all."

"You have a point. I rarely get to use my fire as is. Only time is when I'm sparring against you and Laura. Even then, I have to watch out for any eyes. Honestly, I was kinda hoping we could just go in and I burn those monsters to a crisp. Maybe that gargoyle is back. Show the damn thing what I'm really made of." He mutters.

Chuckling nervously, Rean speaks.

"As easy as that would be, we still need to get used to linking."

"What do you mean? Yours, mine, Laura's, and Aurelia's are fine when we link to one another."

"Not us. I'm talking about the others. More so Elliot and Gaius since they're the closest to you and me."

"You do have a point. Elliot did say he wasn't feeling that well about the upcoming exam. And you and I do need to get used to their fighting styles still."

"Then it's settled. I'll message them and see what they say."

"If Gaius and Elliot knew about my fire, they could use wind arts to increase the potency of it. Now that'd be a killer combo. Jusis too since he uses wind arts."

"You and Jusis seem to get along from what I've seen."

"Yeah. He's not that bad of a guy, Just someone who states his mind regardless if how bad it may sound."

"You have a point there. With how he speaks, it's normal for Machias to retaliate."

"I just wish neither would take what the other says so damn personally. I'm tired of knocking one if not both out." Relon sighs rubbing his fists from the dozens of memories.

"Man, the weather's perfect today." A voice interrupts the duo.

Stopping in their tracks, they glance over to see a male peering over the railing at the canal below.

(Looks like he's a student from one of the higher-up classes.) Relon comments.

Seeming to sense their presence, the male turns around to face them.

"Hi there. Don't think I've met either of you two before. Judging from the red uniforms, I'm guessing you're apart of Class VII?"

"Yeah, that's right. I'm Rean Schwarzer."

"And I'm Relon Lucinance. Nice to meet you. I'm guessing you're a first year too?"

"Yup. Kenneth Lakelord, Class II. I'm apart of the Imperial Fishing Club. Laid back I'd say. You two may like it. Pleasure to meet you though." He smiles.

(He's a pretty laid back noble. Don't see those often.)

(You're right about that.)

"I take it you fish?" Rean asks.

"that's right. Trista is a great location for fishing due to all the different fish you can catch. I'm just trying to find a good spot."

"At least you seem to be having fun." Relon chuckles.

"Judging from you, Rean, I'd take a gander to say you've done your fair share of fishing, no?" His question surprising the duo.

"Y-Yeah, but how did you guess that?"

"Call it a fisherman's intuition. A good fisherman can identify a fellow fisherman."

"Y-You don't say." Rean sweatdrops.

"Here, you two can have these rods."

"Wait, really?"

"Yeah, spreading the love of fishing is what I'm all about. If you land any good catches, come see me and I might be able to hook you up with some nifty prizes. I'll be fishing at the pond on campus if you ever need me." Before either can respond, Kenneth leaves.

"What just happened?" Relon questions looking at the rod.

"I have no clue." Rean answers inspecting his sudden new rod. "Hey, the company this rod is from is the Lakelord Company."

"That was Kenneth's last name. His family must be pretty famous."

"Yeah. Let's head back and put these up."

Complying, they return to the dorm before heading back out stopping on the school grounds.

"Gaius and Elliot will be busy with their clubs for most of the day so it looks like you'll be getting that wish." Rean informs putting away his ARCUS unit.

"Lit, no pun intended. Now let's take care of those quests."

Deciding to take care of possibly the most troublesome, they head over to the Student Union meeting up with Colette, a first year like them in Class IV. After some conversing, the two made their way for the main building while the first year checked around the building.

"So she said it may be good to focus on the halls and rest areas." Relon notes as they walk up the staircase to the second floor.

Scanning the hallway as they walk from one side to the other, they return to search around the rest area. Digging a hand into the seat cushion, Rean feels something. Pulling it out, he smiles.

"I found her notebook!"

Pulling a hand from another couch, Relon turns around to see he has indeed found what they've been searching for.

"Alright, that's one task down. Didn't even take fifteen minutes."

Heading outside, they return the item to which Colette thanks them before leaving.

"Alright, next up; the orbal delivery." Relon notes, the two making their way next door to their destination. "Okay, the academy's Engineering Building." He notes now in front of it.

"Let's head inside."

Nodding they do stopping three steps in. About what you would expect. Plenty of shelves with tools and other contraptions scattered about.

"Hey there, you two. Good to see ya." A round male greets.

He's one of the people that were watching us from the cliff.

"Oh, you're the one that was with President Towa when I first arrived."

"You got a good memory." The male smiles. "I'm George Nome, second year, Class III. I'm also head of the Engineering Club. You're Rean Schwarzer and Relon Lucinance from Class VII, right? Nice to meet you."

"Likewise." Both respond.

"Towa told me you two would be helping out the student council. You probably have a lot to learn here, but good luck."

"Thank you very much." Rean says.

"I'm guessing with all the Engineering Club does, you guys are also in charge of orbal stuff?"

"That we are. We have been for a long time now."

"Wow, that's pretty impressive."

"That it sure is. If you guys ever have troubles with your ARCUS units, don't hesitate to ask."

"Will do." Both respond.

"So you requested for us to deliver some things?"

"Right. Usually, I would do it but I'm a little bit busy this month. Hope you guys don't mind too much."

"No problem at all. We're here to help after all."

After a rundown of all the places that needs delivering, they bid farewell heading back into town. Before long, they finish now making their way back.

"Good to know all of the shop owners now." Relon, comments.

"Yeah, who knew so many relied on orbal equipment."

"You're telling me. What time is it?"

"Going on 11."

"Huh. Guess we did more talking than we realized. Let's hurry back."

Agreeing, they quickly return back to George.

"Hey, seems like you two finished those errands."

"Yup." Relon answers.

"Now that you're done with those, what did you think if the places you delivered them to?"

"Hmm." Rean thinks. "They're certainly all unique. None of them are places I'd go to. Some maybe but definitely nit all of them. Finding some of them would have definitely been difficult had Relon not been with me."

"I'm sure you would have managed. But it's thanks to this request we both know where everything is."

"Yeah. It's more like we benefited from this more than you did."

"You're right." George nods. "This was mainly to help me out while acquainting yourselves with everything here in Trista. Speaking of, you stopped by the Radio Trista, right? Did Michael mention the new show coming up?"

"Yeah." Relon answer. "He mentioned it starting at 9 tonight."

"Haha, I figured as much. Are you two planning on tuning in?"

"I'd love to but I don't have a radio." Relon confesses.

"Neither do I."

"In that case, here you both go." He picks up something from under the counter to reveal two identical radios.

"Whoa, are you serious?" Relon wonders in awe.

"Yeah! It's the latest model, too. Same on I've got too. You both helped me out so it only seems right to pay you guys back. Besides, it would be a waste to let them gather dust."

"Wow, George. Thanks a lot."

Bidding farewell, they step outside to take notice of a purple-haired girl clad in leather.

(Hey, look.) Rean points over. (Any idea who that is? Considering she's hanging around, maybe she's a member of the Engineering Club.)

(She was with George, Towa, and that grey-haired upperclassmen back during orientation on the cliff.)

(Huh? Really?) He nods as they walk past the girl who seems oblivious to their presences.

"What should we do now? Wait till later to take on the Old Schoolhouse?" They begin walking.

"I suppose so. Now may be a good time to relax and take a break."

"Hmm. Yeah, that sounds good. I think I'll check up on Laura and Aurelia. They should be at the pool. What will you do?" They stop for Rean to raise his head at something gaining Relon's attention. "I think I just found the answer to my own question." Relon chuckles as curled up on a bench napping is Fie.

Sighing, Rean shakes his head.

"I'll text you later when I'm ready to go."

"Sounds good."

Splitting up, Relon heads to the pool as Rean walks taking a seat on another bench next to Fie.

Relon

Walking inside, he heads up the stairs to the spectator area. Hearing the splashing of water, he leans over the railing to see Pippin on the sidelines and Laura swimming vigorously through the water.

Reaching the other end, she finishes coming up and out of the water, the sword handing the girl a towel.

"Thank you, Pippin."

"Seems like your form get better and better every time I see it." Looking up to the voice, she sees Relon as he hops over the railing, Pippin moving to for Relon to land on it. "Thanks, buddy." He steps off.

"I didn't even realize you had come in." Laura smiles approaching her friend.

"Considering you were so focused on swimming, I don't blame you." He chuckles. "I thought you were attending the Swimming Club today? And where's Aurelia?"

"We just finished. She decided to leave in order to prepare for the upcoming practical. I wished to get in some more practice so I stayed. What are you doing here?"

"Rean and I just finished our work with the student council so all that's left is to go to the Old Schoolhouse."

"I see. Are you two planning on going alone?"

"Yeah. Elliot and Gaius are too busy with their clubs like the others. It's not all bad since I finally get to use my fire. And technically, Pippin will be with us so things shouldn't be all that hard."

"I see. Would you be opposed to my joining?"

"Hmm? No, but don't you want to practice more?"

"I do but-

"Laura, you're doing it again." He smiles.

"D-Doing what?" She question getting flustered.

"You know what otherwise you wouldn't be getting that slight shade of red on your face." He points out for Laura to feel her cheeks to turn around.

"T-There's nothing wrong with w-worrying for my friend, is there?" She demands with crossed arms.

"Nice try but that stuttering is giving you away." He notes placing a hand at his hip.

"Ahem. What is your point?" She turns back to the boy.

"My point is you don't have to worry so much about me. We both know what I can do especially with Pippin. Plus I'll be with Rean and if worse comes to worse, we kick things up." He finishes holding a finger for a tiny flame to appear

"But still..."

Feeling a hand place itself on her shoulder, she looks to see Relon now next to her.

"How about this; I help you out with your swimming and you help us with our expedition. That way, your worries are put to rest and we can get in more practice."

At his words, her eyes seem to gleam in delight giving an appreciative nod.

"I accept those terms. I was preparing to time myself anyway." She walks over to her things pulling out a stopwatch.

Turning around, she sees Relon's attention avert to the pool. Tilting her head, she approaches handing out the watch.

"Is something wrong?"

"Nothing at all. Just looking at the pool and reminiscing to how we swam through the rivers and lake back in Legram."

"Oh, it has been quite some time since..."

I'm just now realizing a few things. One; Laura's body has developed by a good margin. I'm glad my mind snapped the moment my eyes began to wander. If Laura caught me, I'd be a dead man. Not to mention I have Claire after all. And two; all of the females in Class VII plus Instructor Sara excluding Fie has rather noticeable busts. What the hell...?

"Relon?" Laura calls snapping him from his thoughts.

"Yeah?"

"I just wish to apologize for earlier."

"You don't have to. You're just showing how much you care. Something I haven't been doing much of. If anything, I should be apologizing for taking our bond for granted at times. Like when Machias commented on my placement on the entrance exams, you've always taken up for me without a moment's hesitation and I'm grateful. I try to be logical but sometimes my... beast side tends to cloud my judgement in the heat of the moment so I'm grateful you have my back." He finishes giving a wry smile. "Wow, look at me, didn't mean to go that deep. Huh, wonder where that came from... Sorry about that." He chuckles apologetically.

Taking in his words, Laura is left speechless. it isn't until she gets to the end that she comes to.

"No." She mutters grabbing his hand with both of hers gaining his attention. "You needn't apologize either. As far as I see, we are supporting one another."

"Like two ends of a double saber. One isn't strong without the other." He speaks placing a hand onto of their combined ones but too his surprise, she reaches out hugging him.

(It truly is good to be reunited, Relon.)

Taken aback, he slowly returns the embrace.

(You said it, Laura. The ultimate tag-team back in action.)

Stepping away, Laura regains her composure.

"Now then..." She walks to the edge of the pool. "I'm ready when you are."

"Alright. Three... Two... One... Go!" She dives.

Rean

Taking a seat on the bench, he watches as Relon heads inside the gymnasium.

"How goes it?" He asks.

"What gave it away? " The girl asks not moving.

"Honestly, I could just tell." He chuckles watching Fie sit up.

"Cheater." She mumbles to earn a chuckle from the boy. "But to answer your question; about what you'd expect." She sighs laying back down, her head in the direction of Rean. "How did the requests go."

"Pretty easy. We did more talking than actually working."

"Hm. Least you got it done."

"True. I have no complaints."

"So what now?"

"Well, I plan on going with Relon to finish our task at the Old Schoolhouse and then we'll be done."

"Hm. Can I come?"

Looking to her with genuine surprise, he thinks for a moment before speaking.

"Shouldn't you be trying to sleep?"

"I've been trying. No luck. I don't feel tired either so may as well get a workout." She shrugs curling more into a ball.

"I have no problem with it, but try to get some actual sleep until Relon comes back.

"'Kay." She sighs.

Minutes go by of silence, Rean enjoying the sunny weather. Giving a glance at Fie, he notices her breathing steady. Smiling, he returns to his peace and tranquility.

An hour goes by before he hears the door open. Looking over, he sees Relon come out accompanied by Laura and Pippin. Coming over, they take notice of Fie sleeping. Relon gives a head motion questioning the girl for Rean to nod.

(We can wait. We have plenty of time.) Relon suggests taking a seat on a bench followed by Laura across from Fie. (I could go for a nap.) He whispers getting comfortable.

Before long, both Fie and Relon are out cold to the remaining two's humor.

Hours pass by before both begin to stir awake.

"Mmmmmmmm, that was so needed." Relon says yawning and stretching to see Fie doing the same. "How long was I out?"

"Only two hours." Laura answers with a chuckle.

"You were out for three." Rean notes.

"Greeeeeeaaaaaaaaaat..." Fie yawns.

"Alright, I'm ready to cook some monsters. Who's with me?" Relon looks around.

"Don't forget we're to investigate the Old Schoolhouse. Not just slay monster after monster." Relon nervously laughs.

"Oh, come on. Who knows when I'll get to use my fire. I just wanna blast the first group of monsters I see and then I'll be satisfied."

"I say let him. I wanna see some cooked monsters." Fie gives her lazy grin.

"See?" Relon gives a wide gesture to the girl. "Fie agrees with me."

"Fie, don't agree to seeing monsters be caught on fire." Rean sighs.

"Sometimes... it's fun to watch things burn." Relon mutters with a crazed expression, all eyes falling on him. "Okay, sorry. Anyway, let's go!" He calls out walking off.

"He's more excited compared to earlier." Rean notes.

"He's acting like a child." Fie adds,

"He reminds me of Pippin." Laura chuckles, all three glancing to the sword next to Laura before they leave catching up with Relon.

Heading into the main building, the go to the Principal's Office knocking for a stern voice to allow them in.

"Hello, Principal. We're ready for the Old Schoolhouse request." Relon greets as the four line up before the man.

"Ah, good to see you again." He turns around fron his window watching to look at the four. "I see you've brought some help. Good to see you're taking precautions unlike a certain someone back in their day."

"You got that right." Both chuckle.

(Relon is chummy with everyone, huh?) Fie whispers.

(More so he's acquainted with those who know the owner of the orphanage he stayed at.) Rean explains. (Honestly, Principal Vandyck looms even bigger up close than he did at the entrance ceremony.)

(Indeed. I'd estinate him to be around 2 arge tall.) Laura estimates.

"Towa has told me you and Mr. Schwarzer have accepted my request. I appreciate you two as well as your friends taking tine out of your free day to assist me with this."

"It's no problem at all, sir." Rean dismisses.

"You wish for us to investigate the underground area of the Old Schoolhouse, correct?" Laura inquires.

"Precisely. And what better people than the ones who were down there not too long ago?"

"You have a point there." Relon agrees.

"There are a number of stories going about in relation to the structure. That gargoyle is just a drop in the bucket, all be told."

"Considering what we had to go through, I can see it." Fie shrugs.

"In Thor's earlier days, the Old Schoolhouse has been used as a test of strength for students but lately in the past year it has been exhibiting... alterations."

"Sounds about what Jusis and I went through. Had a door appear out of thin air."

"Not only that, but reports range from what you all have experienced to students claiming to hear eerie voices from the darkness."

"Aaaaand Elliot may have been right on it being haunted. Great."

"Haha, I wouldn't go as far as to suggest the building is cursed but regardless, these odd instances are what I'd like you five to investigate any changes that have occured. Should things prove too difficult, you are free to turn back. Please note that this request goes out to Class VII as a whole." He finishes handing Relon a key. "Best of luck and please be safe."

"Thank you, sir/Jah!" The group acknowledges.

Reaching their destination, Relon opens the door for the group to head inside.

"So, trap door or normal entrance?" Relon looks around to see stoic looks from all. "Fine, fine. Normal entrance it is." He mutters eyeing the familiar setting to walk across the room through to the door.

"Uh, that door wasn't there before, right?"

"No. Nor was that orbal station." Relon adds. "Why do I have a bad feeling about this?"

"Well, with the five of us here, I'm sure we'll be fine." Rean says.

Heading doen, they open the door.

"Yeah, this place is haunted. I don't care what you say. The whole damn layout is different!"

"It's quite difficult to tell which way to go now unlike before."

"Beyond quite." Relon groans. "For Pete's sake, there's lanterns all over the place! Now I'm glad Elliot didn't come because if I wasn't as excited to be down here, I wouldn't even think twice about leaving with him!"

"Whatever the reason may be, we still have a job to do." Rean says looking around.

"With what happened last time, sticking together is the best option." Fie comments.

"Considering what we had to do to get out, I'm not too keen on separating with a layout all topsy-turvy. We'll just have to look around and see what we can find."

"Agreed."

"Sounds good."

"Alright, with that settled, how should we go about linking and formation?" Rean asks.

"Hmm... Fie and I can cover you and Laura with our mid-range attacks. You link with Fie and I link with Laura. Sounds good?"

"I am fine with this arrangement." Laura smiles.

"Ditto." Fie agrees glancing to Rean.

"Alright, let's commence the investigation."

"Hey, what's that?" Relon asks just as Rean takes one step.

Looking to their right, they see what looks like something similar to an orbal charging station standing on a small gear-like platform.

"Don't know. Whatever it is, doesn't seem to have power at the moment."

"Whatever. Let's get going."

Taking one step, an odd sound echoes from. up ahead.

"Seriously, can we take more than one step without being interrupted?" Rean groans.

"Hey look, slug monsters." Relon notes excitedly.

Sighing, Rean followed by the others prepare themselves for Relon to step forward.

"Nope." Is all he says before his arm becomes ablaze as he fires a stream of fire vaporizing the monsters before they can take action. "Man, that felt good." Relon happily sighs.

"You really couldn't hold back, could you?" Rean chuckles.

"I told you." He reminds smiling. "What'd you think, Fie?"

"Hm. Roasted."

"Hehe, I know right? Alright, now we can go on."

Finally beginning their investigation, they continue on. Eventually, they come to another fork in the path.

"So, should we go left around the corner or right down that slope?"

Why not check both out. One may be a dead end so no point in thinking over it." Rean suggests.

"Alright then." Relon shrugs as they turn left eventually stumbling upon a dead end with an odd group of monsters waiting for them.

"Oh great, those things are here too." Relon says readying himself, Pippin orbiting its partner. "I haven't seen those since I was back in Legram."

"Anything we should know about?" Rean asks drawing his tachi.

"They are a pesky bunch that aren't dangerous. Though, they're somewhat difficult to hit and love tackling their foe." Laura warns.

"Hm. I got this." All look to see Fie step out ahead of them drawing her gunswords.

"I get it." Relon says gaining the other two's attention. "They're small so it's better to shoot them then trying to slice them with our swords."

"Yup."

"Alright, be careful Fie." Rean cautions.

"'Kay." She nods, a warm feeling beginning to rise though she quickly dismisses it as she readies herself. "Targets confirmed. Eight in total. Commencing assault." She mutters lunges forth with great speed shooting one monster after another as they jump towards her.

Landing on one foot, she she pivots jumping away avoiding more causing the tiny monster to bump into each other before being shot into puffs of dark matter.

"She got them all..." Rean awes to stop. "Wait, what about the-"

Dropping to her bored expression, Fie aims a gunsword behind her firing just as the final monster jumps at her ceasing it's life.

"Got 'em." Fie gives a peace sign holding a bored look.

"Eight... Huh, nice job. Guess I didn't have to worry." Rean chuckles.

"... Nope." She averts her eyes.

"Looks like the right way was the... right... way... Wow, I should have worded that better." Relon sighs earning laughter from around. "Alright, come on!" He dismisses stomping off followed by the others. "Ugh, stop laughing!" He groans facepalming. "It wasn't even that funny!"

"True, but it's how you came to that conclusion which makes it is so funny." Laura laughs.

"Grrr." Growling, they all come to a stop as monsters with spherical shells roll before them.

"Oh perfect, monsters to work out my new anger." Relon grins pulling out his gloves for Laura to grab his wrist.

"If you all don't mind, I would like to take up this challenge. Those monsters seem to have a hard exterior so either arts or..."

"Or someone with enough strength to physical break their armor like my gloves or your greatsword are recommended." Relon finishes to breathe a sigh. "Alright, Fie and I had our fun so it's only fair you do. Then, it'll be Rean's turn." Relon says.

"Sound good." Fie agrees.

"Wait, what if I get some absurd monster?" Rean demands.

"Meh, I'm sure you'll be fine." Relon shrugs as they watch Laura step forward. "Your bad luck isn't on the same level as mine... yet."

"What do you mean yet?!"

Drawing her blade, Laura eyes the set of monsters. Neither side moving before one of the monsters rolls towards her. Gripping her sword, Laura takes a step forward striking horizontally sending the monster to slam into the wall. Jumping into the air, Laura brings down her sword slamming into the next monster cutting it in half before it explodes into dark particles.

"Nice work." Relon congrats.

"Thank you. Hardly worth the effort though." She says sheathing her weapon. "Well then, Rean, your turn is next."

"Yup. Hopefully I don't have to go against anything too crazy."

Resuming their walk, it isn't long before the group comes to a door.

"Huh, that actually wasn't that hard to find the exit."

"Is this the exit though?" Rean wonders.

"One way to find out?" Relon responds opening the door and walking in. "Hey look, an orbal station. You know when a location has an orbal charging station that means one of two things. Either we're at the start of something or the end and considering there was on when we first entered the building, I'm gonna take a gamble and say we're at the end."

"And look, that weird contraption is here too."

Placing his hand on the charging station, an odd sensation fills Relon's body.

"I still find it bizarre that I can recover my fire from these."

"You can run out?" Fie asks.

"Yeah, think of my fire like fuel. Eventually I run out and I recover it overtime or through these. I could always just bundle up and get warm but that rarely happens if ever."

After a moment of recuperating, the four head towards the door on the other side.

"Alright Rean, remember how we said this was your turn?" Relon opens the door as the four walk in to a room with a few pillars around the edge of the room.

"Yeah?"

At his question, a light emerges from the middle of the room and in its place spawns a bipedal monter with resembling some sort of fiend with purple skin and horns along with armor from its chest up. Hunching over it gives a loud screech, all four readying themselves.

"Yeah, we're gonna have to skip your turn."

"I have no complaints!"

"Good, because here it comes!"
