In the morning, Marinette woke up to the sound of her alarm going off.

"Whoa, why do I feel so weird?" asked Marinette before heading down to the floor from where her bed was.

"I think I know," said a stunned Tikki.

"What is… what the heck?!" asked Marinette as she looked into a mirror and noticed she had turned into a boy with short hair.

"Tikki please tell me that this is some kind of weird dream!" said Marinette.

"I'm afraid not, and I believe this to be the effect of Translator's ability," said Tikki as she flew over to get a better look at Marinette's face.

"Marinette, what's with…?" asked Sabine as she opened the door with barely enough time for Tikki to hide on a nearby table.

"I can explain everything, just don't freak out," said a panicked Marinette.

"I sure hope you can, young man, starting with where my daughter is," said Sabine as she stood before Marinette with her arms crossed before her and staring the unfamiliar person down.

"Mom it's me, there was an Akuma attack last night and a bright light came through the window and woke me up," said Marinette as she went to her computer.

"The light must have done this to me and Ladybug was unable to undo it or something," she said before bringing up a news video.

"As hard as it may be to believe, I am Nadja Chamack," said an anchorman with red hair and a mustache.

"I can't believe it, you really are my Marinette," said Sabine as she got closer for a better look and cupped her hands to Marinette's cheeks.

"That's right, and I so hope that Ladybug can figure out a way to undo this," said a worried Marinette while making eye contact with Tikki who just returned the worried expression she had.

"I'm sure that she will, sweetheart," said Sabine before hugging her daughter turned son.
