Momo was upset that Izumi didn't come to bed with her that night after the battle trials. Instead, she had gone to her room. It wasn't the only thing that bothered the heiress; it was having to watch Denki try to talk to her all night when they were all in the main common room. It was odd as this feeling bubbled in Momo's chest when Izumi would hold her hand only to pull it away when someone entered the room or just under the blankets as they sat with the girls watching a popular soap drama. It was this nagging feeling that they were hiding what they were from everyone as if it was something Izumi was ashamed of.

One of the aspects of Izumi that Momo loved was that for all the darkness she had experienced, she was still so naïve and innocent on such matters; Momo noticed Toga and Tsu looking at her while she was pulled into dancing with Mina. It was just the girls, and the atmosphere was light and fun; Izumi had just taken her shower and bounced around the living room in a pair of green silk pajama shorts and a black tank top of the same material. It wasn't revealing, but Momo found it very sexy, especially when Izumi's shyness melted away, and she bounced right along with Mina, her arms extended above her head and not a care in the world. Other girls were dancing. Kinoko was right next to Izumi, but it still bothered her.

Momo knew she was frustrated; she was frustrated about being unable to tell others to stay away or show Neito and others who were pursuing her that she wasn't interested. Why couldn't Izumi understand that Denki was hitting on her so she could say, "I am sorry I have a girlfriend," then they wouldn't have to hide anything anymore, or at the very least, that she was taken at the bare minimum would suffice for the moment. Then Izumi went to bed early tonight with not so much as a good night's kiss.

Was it petty of Momo to expect at least that much since they had been together, since she had been thrown out of her home, and every night had ended with a good night kiss? The hiss of the tea kettle pulled her back to the kitchen where she stood. She set about pouring the water over her tea, going to the fridge, and procuring a few snack cakes while waiting for the tea to seep.

"Momo," she heard a voice say tentatively behind her. She turned and saw Izumi standing there. "I forgot something." Izumi walked over. "Goodnight," Izumi said, raising her tiptoes and planting a kiss.

You silly, stupid, wonderful girl, Momo thought. As her arms slid around Izumi's waist, she returned the kiss.

"I will see you in the morning," Izumi said as she quietly left the kitchen, leaving Momo leaning against the counter.

Out in the Open

Momo came downstairs to the common room full as nearly all the girls were eating breakfast; she saw Izumi poke her head out from the kitchen after some of their classmates had seen Momo and told her good morning. Izumi came out, wearing a cute white apron with a kitty on the front carrying a plate. "Come sit," Izumi called to her; when Momo sat, Izumi set the plate down and then looked around. "Oh, I forgot the syrup," she bounced back to the kitchen before returning with it and some tea. "Good Morning, Momo!" her face was beaming.

"Good Morning to you, Izu…" Momo's response was cut off when Izumi leaned down and kissed her, not on the cheek, not where no one could see, but on the lips at the table in front of nearly everyone, and instinctually, Momo kissed her back.

"Whoa, holy shit!" shouted Mina and Toru.

"What the heck?" Setsuna said.

Then, Izumi froze as the dawning realization of what she had just done ran across her face. She had missed Momo; not waking up next to her had been the worst thing. Then she decided to cook breakfast; Kinko and Melissa joined her. There was music and laughter, but all Izumi could think about was seeing Momo. Then, when she showed up, Izumi was so excited to present her with breakfast, and she was lost in the moment when, bam, kiss.

Izumi turned to look at the rest of the class, who were staring at them. Both girls blushed. Momo was surprised again when Izumi took her hand. "Momo is my girlfriend, and I love her."

Momo stared at Izumi as all the negative emotions and doubts built up were blown away; Momo just smiled, stood up, turned Izumi to her, and kissed her passionately. "You silly, stupid, wonderful, beautiful girl," Momo whispered, their foreheads resting against each other.

"That is interesting, Kero," Tsu said. "I like girls as well." The table looks at her. She shrugged, "And boys, but mostly girls."

"All about girls," Itsuka said, raising her hand. "Tried kissing a boy once, nope, not for me."

"I don't know either way now that I think about it," Setsuna said. "I think both are pretty hot."

Ochaco looked over to Melissa and blushed, looking away before anyone noticed.

"I like boys, but I find women very pretty and soft," Pony said. "I had to break up with my boyfriend and girlfriend when I came to U.A. It was unfortunate."

"Okay, we will unpack that in a minute," Toru said.

"Love is Love," Ibarra said. "You have no control over whom you fall in love with."

"Dude, Denki is going to be heartbroken," Kyoka said. "On the flip side, Mineta is going to perv the fuck out! Then Neito, well, but fuck him."

"Language!" Ibarra said, causing everyone to laugh.

"Why would Denki be heartbroken?" Izumi said, and the table went silent.

"Do you not get it?" Toga said, shocked. "That dude has been hitting on you every chance he gets!" Izumi shook her head.

"She isn't playing around," Momo said. "It is one of the most frustrating things about her."

"Me?" Izumi said, pointing to herself. "But why me? I am not that pretty. Are all of you much hotter than I am?"

"Girl, you are hot," Mina said. "You have a great body; those muscles even made me do a double take; all the bouncy bits are nice and bouncy."

"Really?" Izumi squeaked out. "Me?" she blushed and hid her face as the other girls agreed, adding more compliments. "So no one cares about Momo and I," she said, peaking out from behind Momo.

TO CUTE! Thought the girls.

"No," they all said.

"But you should probably tell Denki," Melissa said. "That way, he will stop hitting on you. I am guessing Momo hasn't said anything because she wasn't sure you were comfortable with it."

Izumi looked to Momo, who nodded. "I was going to talk to you about this; I was beginning to feel uneasy that you seemed to want to hide our relationship; while I did understand your apprehension, it still didn't make me feel good."

"I am sorry, Momo," Izumi said, hugging her. "There is no way I could ever be ashamed of you, and you should have told me. Well, today, we are holding hands and everything." Izumi looked at the rest of the girls. "Thank you so much for being understanding and accepting. Momo is right; I feared what you would all think of us. I didn't want it to get in the way of us being friends."

"Something as silly as who you love would never interfere with something like that," Yui said, to everyone's surprise. "If that does interfere with being friends with someone that isn't a friend you need or should want."

"Thank you all," Izumi bowed, her smile flashing brilliantly.

When they left their side of the dorms, Denki stood there waiting along with Neito, Sato, Mineta, and Bakugo. Denki walked right up and wished Izumi good morning before saying so to the rest of the group.

"Um, Denki, can I talk to you in the kitchen for a moment," Izumi said quietly. Denki's eyes lit up, and Izumi felt terrible.

"Of course," Denki said, following after her.

"Hey Denki," she said nervously, "I need to tell you something. I am a bit dense about certain things and didn't realize the implications when you asked me to go to dinner."

"Oh," Denki managed to say.

"You see, I think you are a very nice guy, and you make me feel comfortable, but I have a girlfriend," Izumi said; she watched those words smack Denki across the face. "I know that isn't what you wanted to hear and that you may have a problem with it, but I would still very much like to be friends if you are so inclined. I apologize for dropping this on you first thing in the morning."

"Nah, no, it's cool. Thanks for letting me know," Denki said, rubbing his head. "Um, yeah, we can still be friends. I will see you in class alright." He turned and walked away.

Izumi came around as Momo rolled her eyes at Neito, "Monoma, I have tried to be polite about this, but I am seeing someone; in fact, I am dating Izumi. So I would appreciate it if you would stop hitting on me. Shall we go to class?" Momo said as Izumi shyly took her hand.

He was shocked, Mineta was shocked for a completely different reason, and Izumi did not like that look. Neither did the rest of the group, who just shuddered as they left him drooling. Katsuki sighed and smacked him on the back of the head, returning him to his senses.

"Quit perving out," Katsuki said. Mineta rubbed the back of his head.

"But dude," Mineta started to say.

"You might want to consider how you finish that statement," Himiko said as she walked past him. "You will not enjoy what happens next."

Mineta stiffened as a shiver ran up his spine; the look on Himiko's face was terrifying; what was even more so was watching it morph into this happy, bubbly smile as she skipped over to walk next to her brother.

Izumi felt this warmth that spread throughout her as they stepped out, the feeling of freedom and peace. She nibbled on her lip for a moment as she realized it was that here she was, walking hand in hand with the person she loved. Open and for all to see, no one was glaring at them, or looking to harm them. The other boys in their class seemed slightly surprised, but it passed quickly. She leaned her head on Momo's shoulder briefly and smiled. She looked around at everyone around her, laughing and talking, realizing this was her dream.

She had a quirk, friends, love, and respect of the people around her; no one was putting her down, there was no monster waiting for her at home, no one waiting for her in class. She looked over at Katsuki, who was busy trying to bat Himiko's hands away as she was teasing him about his hair and letting her cut it and give it some shape.

The battle trial had been what she needed to clear that hurdle, and him as well. She didn't know what their relationship would be, but she knew it came from a place of equals now. "Good Morning, Katsuki," she said, getting his attention.

"Good Morning, Izumi," he said back. "You may have won yesterday, but don't get cocky."

"Don't worry, I won't," Izumi said back.

"Good, I wouldn't want it to be easy," Katsuki said, a small smile at the corner of his mouth. Himiko gave him a shoulder bump and was beaming. "Knock it off, Himi," he muttered, but he bumped her back.

"I wonder if anything interesting will happen today?" Reiko said.

Shota Aizawa

Shota Aizawa couldn't remember the last time he had slept so well. As he slowly stirred to wakefulness, the shifting of the body next to him. The feeling of the naked woman, who cuddled in next to him, brought to the stark realization of why he had been able to obtain such levels of sleep.

He rolled into the embrace as Inko snuggled in. He knew she was coming over last night; he had a day off from patrol and was happy to spend the evening with her. Their relationship had been progressing increasingly, with Inko setting the pace, something he was more than happy with. Last night wasn't the first time that they had had sex, but it was the first time he ever came home to Inko dressed in nothing but an apron, welcoming him home.

Last night had been different; she had been passionate, asking for certain acts and tempo. She bore herself to him, and he was lost in every moment. Last night was different; it carried over to this morning; he wanted this to be his normal.

"I love you, Inko," he whispered.

"I love you too," Inko said, tracing her hand down his side.

"Inko, would you like to move in with me," Shota said hesitantly. "Waking up with you is…well, I want to do it every chance I get. You are the best part of my day. I want our relationship to keep growing, and one day, if you are willing, I would like us to make this permanent."

"Are you asking me to move in with you with an eye towards getting married?" Inko whispered, her head buried in his chest.

"I am," Shota said. "I am sorry if this is sudden; I understand if it is too much."

Inko rolled him onto his back and straddled his chest, and he could see tears in the corners of her eyes. "After Hisashi, all I could think of was Izumi, of giving her a life, of healing. I never expected or thought I would ever fall in love again; then, you came into my life. I love you, Shota Aizawa; besides my daughter, you are the most important person in my life. So Yes, I would love to move in."

She leaned down, and they kissed deeply. She felt him stiffen against her; his eyes went wide when he felt her slide him into her. "Now lay back and let me send you off to class properly," Inko said as she started to ride him.

Class 1-A was a bit scared when their homeroom teacher came walking into class looking rested, smiling, and even whistling a tune. "Morning Class, this morning we will elect our class representatives. Does anyone have some suggestions?"

Following the democratic process, Melissa Shield was elected president, with Momo as vice president. After some brief speeches, it was time to get to business.

"We will start today by reviewing your battle trials from yesterday in detail. Then, after lunch, we are going to the medical wing for first aid training, and then you will come back here for Literature Class with Present Mic and the world of Shakespeare."

Izumi smiled, watching Aizawa having the teams up in front of the class with him as he went over the tapes, pausing to ask them what they were thinking and then even showing them some moves they could have used when they were in combat; desks were moved out of the way as he had them reenacting the battles. When it came time for them, he told her about using the battle trial to work through their problems, Mineta and Sato for letting it happen, and Katsuki a bit for indulging in it.

"I understand that this needed to happen," Aizawa said, his hand on both shoulders. "From the look in both eyes, I see the difference between you. Izumi, you have already been punished, Katsuki. I want you to stay after class today and clean the classroom." Katsuki nodded.

"Now, I want you all to listen and understand," Aizawa said to the class. "There are times when words won't be sufficient to settle the problems; if it comes to this, then you are to inform me, and we will have a match under proper supervision so you can work it out. Before we get to that point, rest assured I have both parties sitting with Hound Dog or Midnight to resolve it. You must be able to work with the next hero on the scene when you are in the field. You don't have to like them or have a drink with them afterward, but you need to trust them, and they need to trust you." Aizawa looked at the clock. "Put the desks back and go to lunch early. Remember that you are at the medical wing after lunch, so prepare properly."

"I don't know what got into him today, but I hope it happens daily," Mineta said as they walked towards the lunch room. He kept glancing at Izumi and Momo but didn't let his gaze linger as he felt Himiko look at him.

A Peaceful Lunch Period

The Girl's table topic was dominated by how Izumi and Momo got together, how they met, and things like that. Izumi was initially shy, but the more she was gushing about Momo, the more she felt this weight lifted off her shoulders.

The boys were talking about the battle trial and the revelation that had been laid on them about Izumi and Momo; the conversation didn't last long as Eijiro and Mineta were trying their best to cheer up Denki, who was feeling down. Surprisingly, Neito seemed to have an objection to it on a moral level, adding an uneasy tension to the table.

Everything was shattered when the alarm sounded. "ALERT THE U.A. BARRIER HAS BEEN BREACHED THIS IS A LEVEL 5 ALERT, REPEAT THE U.A. BARRIER HAS BEEN BREACHED THIS IS A LEVEL 5 ALERT ALL STUDENTS ARE TO REPORT OT HEIR DESIGNATED EVACUATION AREAS, REPEAT ALL STUDENTS ARE TO REPORT TO THEIR DESIGNATED EVACUATION AREAS."

There was a sudden rush of panic from the students, causing people to be nearly trampled. Setsuna's head floated from her shoulders to look out the window. "It is the press she called to her classmates,"

Melissa looked to Ochaco, "Ochaco, can you make me float, Reiko? Get me to that exit sign, Momo megaphone." The three girls swung into action, and soon Melissa was about to exit sigh. "IT IS JUST THE PRESS, EVERYONE CALM DOWN. THE PRESS MANAGED TO GET PAST THE BARRIER!"

They heard some members from 1-B confirm, and then Inasa was at the table. He didn't need a megaphone. "LISTEN TO MELISSA SHIELD, LIFT THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN AND PROCEED IN AN ORDERLY MANNER."

"Imagine him with a bullhorn," Mina joked.

"I would rather not," Kyoka said, holding her head; she went to walk, but she stumbled. Izumi was the closest and caught her. "Thanks, Izumi," she whispered.

"Let me help you walk," Izumi whispered; Kyoka nodded as they joined the boys and headed to their designated area.

Inasa came walking right up to Momo. He opened his mouth and then seemed to remember, "Are you and your classmates unharmed?

"We are fine, thank you, Inasa," Momo replied.

"May I escort you to your evacuation area?" Inasa said.

"That is not necessary, Inasa. I will be fine with my girlfriend," Momo said, smiling.

"Yes, I understand," Inasa said, his voice dipped slightly. "But since we are walking in the same direction, there is no harm in me escorting you and your girlfriend as a friend, is there?"

Momo smiled as he tried his best to put his meaning into words. "That would be nice, Inasa; one can never have enough friends."

Inasa smiled broadly, "Yes, I have found it difficult to make friends, but I am glad to have found one in you, and I believe Ida. He is a young man of strong convictions, and I find his no-nonsense policy very appealing as a friend."

"That is good to hear, Inasa," Momo said. "Remember to keep your voice down when you are just talking to someone; it puts them at ease."

"I thank you for your advice," Inasa said. "I do not wish to frighten my classmates, only foul villains!" he punctuated this by pumping his fist into the air.

Old Friends

Inko had just set the sheets to dry outside; the house was clean, and everything was caught up. She didn't even have any reading or homework to follow up on. She looked in the fridge and shook her head. He had forgotten his lunch; it made Inko think of how Izumi sometimes forgot her lunch when she was little.

Would he be upset if she came to join him for lunch? It would allow her to see Nemi and Mic; she nibbled on her lip. He asked her to move in with an eye towards marriage; he had better get used to her showing affection and ensuring he ate right. She also needed to talk to Izumi; this was a significant change, and she wanted her daughter to hear it from her. So it was a great excuse to drop in on her at the dorms later; she could also fuss over Momo and check on Melissa. After she took a shower and got changed to be seen in public, she left the house with a smile that wouldn't fade on her lips.

The little row of houses for faculty members was all the same; it was essentially corporate housing, but she enjoyed each house's little touches due to the occupant; she had stopped to admire some flowers when she heard a door open behind her. She had never met the residents of that home; she was told they worked odd hours and had worked off campus a lot. They were part of the security detail. Inko turned, and there was a tall woman with charming curves; she was wearing a flowing white loose skirt with black embroidery and a black tank top. She had long, black hair with numerous scattered pink streaks; the woman had an impressive physique. Inko could see the muscles in her arms as a hair tie was in her mouth, and she was pulling her hair back in a ponytail. She had purple eyes that seemed to wake up and fall on Inko. The woman froze for a moment.

Inko realized she was staring at the woman; something about her screamed to Inko. The woman gave Inko a smile that made Inko wonder if she had somehow walked outside without getting dressed; when Inko looked down to make sure she hadn't made such a gaff, she heard the woman laugh. When she laughed, Inko stiffened. She looked up at the woman and couldn't help herself from staring.

The woman stepped off the little porch and twirled her skirt, flaring out. "Like what you see?"

Inko realized she had been staring, blushed, sputtered, and bowed. "I am so sorry, miss, that was very rude. I am so sorry; I didn't mean to offend you."

"Who said I was offended?" the woman said. Inko could hear her getting closer, but she didn't want to look up. When she spoke, her tone had this teasing, mischievous note. "I don't remember seeing you around her before, and I definitely would have remembered seeing you."

Inko started to blush. Was this woman flirting with her? She felt her heart pound. Inko was bi. She had always felt a bit more comfortable with women, but then she had been swept up by Hisashi and the nightmare that followed. After they had been saved, she thought that she would never find herself with a man again and that if she ever found herself moving on, it would have been with a woman. But then she had met Shota, and that all flipped on its head. She had told him about her sexuality very early on; she didn't want him to be surprised in any fashion.

Her first sexual experience after everything had been with a woman. It had been with another woman in the building, a fellow pro heroine; the woman was young, flirty, attractive, and forward, with beautiful, bright green hair. Inko was so nervous that first night, but as things progressed, she felt this emotion wash over her, reclaiming part of her life. They still talked occasionally; they could even be considered friends.

Now, this woman was either teasing Inko or flirting. Inko took a deep breath, and the woman was before her, still a respectable distance back.

"I am sorry for staring," Inko said, the blush still evident. "You just took me by surprise." As Inko looked at her, something in her mind was screaming. "I have permission to be on campus," Inko moved the bag with her and Shota's lunches so the woman could see the badge. "I was just heading to the main campus."

The woman nodded, still smiling, "What a coincidence, so was I? Shall we?" Inko was thankful for the exit and started to walk. "Do you have a name?"

"Inko Shimura," Inko said. "Sorry for not introducing myself properly."

"Nothing to worry about, Inko Shimura," the woman said. "I am Kura Gushiken."

"Pleasure to meet you," Inko replied, but her brain still screamed at her. She noticed the woman glanced over at her but didn't say much more; her hands clasped behind her back as they walked. Inko kept trying to find the place where she knew this woman, and she knew she did. Something about this woman was begging for Inko to notice her. The woman would let Inko look but then glance over, forcing Inko to look away; it was like she was playing a game; she had this smile, and her eyes were shining.

As they walked under the trees, again, nothing was said; when they came back into the light, the main campus was in view. Inko couldn't help but steal another glance at the woman; when she died, she saw this glint of Indigo at the base of the woman's hair. Indigo, pink streaks, that smile, this little hop in her step with her hands behind her back. Inko's mind raced; it wasn't possible. Her pace slowed, and Kura was now a few steps in front. Kura stopped, twirled, and bent slightly at the waist; she placed a finger at the corner of her mouth.

"You okay there, Inko?" that smile, that pose, everything clicked.

"Little Shot?" Inko said. "Little shot, is that you?" Inko almost dropped the food. "Kaina…"

"Hello, senpai," the woman said. Inko had enough presence to set the food down as she crossed those few steps. Kiana Tsutsumi opened her arms and collected the hug she had dreamed about for years.

Inko shed a few happy tears, then suddenly stepped back and smacked Kiana's arm. "That is for teasing me," she smacked her arm again. "That is for not, for something I will think of later."

Kiana laughed as they hugged again; when they separated, Inko wiped her eyes and went to retrieve her food. "What is with that Kura name? Or was that to tease me?"

"No, that is the name I go by now, so you have to call me that in public, okay," Kaina said.

"Are you in some sort of trouble?" Inko said, worried about this sudden shift in her demeanor and the caring look in her eyes. This look made Kiana say yes to Nezu that night in the diner. "If you're in trouble, you can rely on me; I will take care of it for you."

Kiana's eyes watered; she gently reached out and stroked Inko's cheek so lovingly. "Oh, senpai, how I have dreamed of a moment like this," Kiana's eyes were so soft. "But you already have helped me, so don't worry about it."

"You know I am just going to worry," Inko said with a slight pout.

"I know, but now that I have you here, all we need is Mitsuki, and I know I can take on the world," Kiana said. "I have missed you so much, Inko."

"Oh, Kiana," Inko hugged her with one arm, "I have missed you too."

"Are you having lunch with your boyfriend?" Kiana teased.

Inko blushed and nodded. "I didn't know you worked for U.A."

"I don't," Kiana replied as they started walking, "I work with Nezu; the security thing is more of a cover than anything else."

"Are you some sort of secret agent now?" Inko said.

"Not quite, but I will tell you all about it soon," Kiana said. "Am I going to be seeing you more now?" Inko smiled and nodded as they headed to the teacher's lounge.

The Teacher's Lounge

As Aizawa approached the teacher's lounge, he heard Inko's rich laughter, which made him smile. When he entered, he was not surprised to see her talking with Nemuri and Hizashi, but what did surprise him was seeing Kiana, the former Lady Nagant or Kura as she was called now, sitting next to Inko and smiling up a storm.

Nemuri saw him, "Well, it looks like your sweetheart has arrived, so that we will leave you to your lunch." He saw her and Mic get up and leave. He saw Kura go to do so, only for Inko to catch her hand. Kura whispered something, and Inko smiled. Kura just walked past him and smiled.

"Inko, what are you doing here?" Aizawa said Inko was sitting in his chair. He was surprised when he felt the tug of her quirk, and she planted a light kiss on him, much to the delight of his friends.

"Somebody forgot their lunch," Inko said with a smirk, "So I came to deliver it to you, and if you didn't mind, I thought we could have lunch together. All the chores at the house are caught up, and I have no studying to do."

"I would be delighted," Aizawa leaned down. "I might have to forget my lunch more often if I get to eat with you." Inko just smiled as he led her to the corner of the room behind a partition where they could be tucked away in their little world. Nemuri was so happy watching Shota lead her away before she and Kura left; she felt joy seeing how much Inko had grown and recovered from that night at her house to where she was now.

She and Aizawa were lost in their little world, him blushing as she fed him from her chopsticks, her blushing as she wiped a stray piece of rice from her cheek. He never imagined that lunch could taste so good or have many stolen kisses. He felt so light as if he could float away; it was so peaceful and serene.

Suddenly, the alarm blared, jolting them from their little world, "Don't move, Inko, stay here!" Aizawa said, jumping to his feet.

"Shota, what is going on?" Inko said, worried, looking around.

"Someone has breached the barrier," Shota kissed her forehead quickly. "You will be safe here; I must see what is happening."

"Izumi?" Inko whispered.

"She is with her class," Shota said. "Stay here!" he shouted as he ran out the door.

Inko sat nervously; she looked at the uneaten portions of their meal and, not knowing what else to do, packed up their lunch. She had just put the lids on when she heard a strange noise, followed by a drawer opening. Inko peaked around the partition and saw a man at Shota's desk. He was wearing black sweats and a blue hoodie. She could see the light blue hair falling from beneath it, and he was muttering. Inko's heart began to pound; nothing about this man seemed to indicate that he belonged here, and why was he in Shota's drawer? She knew that Shota kept his drawers locked. This man was looking for something, and then she thought about the alarm and her Izumi.

"This is it," she heard the man say as he pulled out a folder from the drawer.

"Who are you?" Inko said loudly, making the man jump. The man whirled, and Inko saw his red, gaunt eyes; his skin just looked so dry that he was wearing a medical mask, so she couldn't ultimately see his face. Inko held her phone behind her as she texted Shota, Toshi, and Kiana. HELP! That was all it said. "I don't think you are supposed to be here!"

Intruder

"What is this?" The man said, whirling around. This woman wasn't on the faculty list and didn't even look like a faculty member. She wasn't very tall at 5'3 but in good shape. Her long green hair was pulled back in a ponytail, and he noticed her shaking. "Poor little NPC," he muttered.

Would anyone miss her? He thought. Maybe this was an extra challenge; if he cleared it without alerting her, perhaps he would get a secret bonus.

"Oh, I apologize, madam," the intruder said. The very sound of his voice sent a shiver up Inko's spine. The way he looked at her and his tone was like evil trying to trick you into not noticing they were evil; it was the tone that Inko knew too well. "I just was sent to retrieve the class roster for the evacuation," the intruder said, holding up the folder.

Inko saw that it said schedule. Why would Shota need his class roster or the other homeroom teacher, Vlad King? She knew that both knew each member of the other's class, Nemuri did, and Mic did; the students would know if a member of their class was missing, especially her daughter.

Inko took a deep breath. This man before her was not a member of this school, and the only reason they would break in was that they had to be a villain. They would attack the school, possibly her daughter's class if the schedule were what they were after. No one was going to hurt her baby. Inko's quirk flared to life, and ripped the folder from the intruder's hand as Inko dashed to the side.

"Stupid MOB,' the man roared. "Give that back!"

"HELP I NEED HELP IN HERE!" Inko yelled. She would try to run for the door when the intruder jumped over the desk and landed between her and the exit. "HELP! INTRUDER, THERE IS AN INTRUDER!"

"Will you shut the hell up!" the man snarled and ran towards Inko. Inko dashed to the other side of the desks, and the man leaped at them and ran at her. If he wanted this folder so bad, she could not let him have it. Using her quirk, the man saw the papers shred and fall to the ground. "YOU ARE GOING TO FUCKING DIE FOR THAT!"

Inko saw the man tearing off his gloves as he dove at her. Inko dived to the side, and she used his quirk on his hands and yanked the man to the side. She banged off the safety glass, and as he crashed, she saw the ground crack and the chair he grabbed turn to dust.

Inko stumbled and ran. The man was yelling something, but she couldn't hear it. When someone attacks you, they think they have the upper hand. They don't know what your quirk is, or they believe that you have it figured out, but there are the little things that they tend to forget. You can untie their shoes, yank on fabric, or a belt; Shota's words during their training rushed to her mind.

She grabbed the drawstring of his hoodie and yanked it closed, temporarily blinding her attacker; more lessons ran through her mind from Nemi to Mic and Toshi. She grabbed one of the office chairs and bashed him over the head, sending him down to the ground; she saw the floor begin to crack. She ran and jumped on the desk to get to the doors; she was almost at the door when a computer monitor sent her crashing into the door. The mental scream of Nemuri telling her to push through the pain; they won't wait for you to recover.

Inko scrambled to her feet as the intruder, his face twisted into a visage of murderous rage, came charging at her. Can't let him touch me, she thought. His right arm went for her face; she went low and ducked to the side just millimeters under his other hand; she grabbed the waistband of his pants and yanked them down. He collided with the door; she saw it start turning to dust, and she screamed for help again. She pulled, grabbed all the pencils, pens, letter openers, and everything she could off the desks, yanked them to her as hard as she could, and ducked, letting them all fly overhead.

The intruder, in a blind rage, got to his feet, yanking up his sweats as all these small objects collided with him; he got his hand up to defend his face, only for a letter opener to stab into it. Inko was backing up as the man rushed her. She tried to throw him off balance, but he dove and drove his shoulder into her, sending her flying back over the desk. Inko was scrambling to her feet when a chair crashed into her head.

She saw him coming, and she rushed him. Then, she suddenly went low around his legs and lifted him up and over, sending him flying through the air. She felt him graze her shirt, which immediately turned to dust. The man crashed, and she dashed to the door. She barely saw the fragment of the desk flying at her. She got her arm up, but it crashed into her, sending her head bouncing off the door frame.

"You fucking bitch I am going to kill you!" Her attacker came for her; she scrambled back into the hall. Instead of diving at her, he just raced at her; Inko used her quirk, grabbed his hair, and yanked him to the side, crashing into the same door jam. Inko was on her feet running; she heard him getting to his feet in pursuit. She saw Kiana come sliding into view down the hall; her arm transformed into a gun.

"GET DOWN!" Kiana roared; Inko dove forward to the ground as Kiana fired. The intruder saw his prey dive to the ground, and then he was thrown back as the bullet tore through his shoulder, shattering it.

He slammed his hand on the ground as everything began to shake and fall, and the man fell to the floor below. Inko was about to fall when she heard Kaina scream for her, then suddenly, two large, muscular arms snatched her out of the air and landed next to Kiana. Inko looked up and saw All-Might. "I got you, Inko," he said.

Inko was bleeding from the head, and her heart was pounding; she looked, and Kiana was moving past her to the hole; she shouted to someone; she looked and saw Shota on the other side of the gap, his face showing his panic. She looked at All-Might and then at her chest missing a shirt; she noted that she was thankful she had chosen a sensible bra. "I think I need a shirt?" she said, and then she passed out in his arms.

All-Might held her close as he backed away from the hole, and Kaina dropped in. "I don't see him," she shouted.

"I will get her to Chiyo," All-Might yelled. "Make sure he isn't down there!" Shota nodded and jumped down as All-Might raced off to the medical wing.

Vlad King was at the evacuation area when the call came over his radio; the students suddenly saw the third-year hero course students spread out around the area in what looked like defensive positions. Cementos ran towards the school building; the students looked around nervously; Izumi took Momo's hand.

Nemuri came running over; she called Izumi and Momo over. "An intruder broke into the school and attacked your mother." Izumi tensed and looked about to panic. "She appears to be okay; she has a nasty gash on her head. All-Might got her to Recovery Girl. I know you want to go to her, but we don't know if more intruders are on campus. As soon as they give the all clear, you can go to her,"

"What was my mom even doing here?" Izumi said.

"She was having lunch with Aizawa," Nemuri hugged her tight. "I promise your mom will be fine, okay? I wanted to keep you in the loop." They saw Nemuri pause and then hand over her earpiece to Izumi.

"This is Chiyo, sweetie; your mother is here; she has minor injuries. I have treated her; she will be fine in a few hours. Just breathe. She is okay," Izumi said, relaxedly hearing Chiyo's soothing voice. "When they give the all clear, you can come to see her, okay."

Izumi returned the earpiece to Nemuri, "Everything will be just fine. Watch her," Nemuri said to Momo, and she took off.

When they returned to the class, Melissa and the other girls came right over to them, along with Katsuki, Inasa, Sato, and even Denki; Momo's arm was around her shoulder. "What happened? Is everything okay?" Melissa asked.

"An intruder penetrated the school, and Inko was attacked," Momo said. "She was injured but is fine; she is with Recovery Girl."

"Your mom fought an intruder," Katsuki said, Izumi nodded. "Kind of badass." That comment made Izumi smile.

"it is, isn't it," Izumi said. Her friends and classmates checked on her to ensure she was okay; she reassured them that she was shaken up hearing her mother had been involved in a hero battle. They were on the field for several hours before the all-clear was given. Izumi and Momo went straight to the medical wing.

When they walked in, they saw Inko sitting in bed, her head bandaged as Aizawa fed her a jello cup. Inko smiled at her daughter, "See, you're not the only badass in the family," Inko flexed her arm.

"I knew I had to get it from someone," Izumi said, coming to her mother's side.

Unknown Location

"So not only did he fail, an unknown faculty member defeated him," the hollow voice of the man on the throne rang out.

"Yes, we won't be able to get a description till he wakes up," the Doctor replied.

"Pitiful," was the response. "Were you able to confirm?"

"Yes, the girl Izumi Shimura is Nana Shimura's granddaughter. Nana's daughter has survived as well, so that means that Tomura's cousin is in the U.A.," the doctor said.

"Excellent, I wonder if we could turn her. I would love to see the look on that idiot's face when he realizes the scope of his failure. Have our spy get us all the information possible. Bring them to me, Doctor." The Hollow Man said.

"As you wish, my lord," the doctor replied as the Hollow man's voice broke into a laugh that echoed around the room.
