SWIRLING
Chapter Seven
Doctor Alverez had released Captain Lee Crane to his quarters 36 hours after taking several tests on the brain to check for any changes to his DNA patterns. There was nothing shown on the tests taken.
Admiral Nelson asked Doctor Alverez for a full report in his office. Nelson had been waiting for the Chief Medical Officer to arrive while getting anxious. One thing for sure is the fact that Crane still thinks that the Lizard aliens are after him.
Taking a sip of his hot coffee with his glasses sitting on his desk. Commander Morton was working alone in the Control Room with the first shift working to search for the lone wolf vessel that had been following them to the location of the missing vessels and crewmembers.
There was a light knock on his door as he told the doctor to come inside his office. "Doctor Alverez, do you have the final report on Captain Lee Crane?" Nelson had been tapping his hand on the mahogany desk of his office.
STANDING STRAIGHT ROD. "I do Admiral Nelson?" he says with a slight growl in his voice. "You're not going to like it, sir." He said strongly.
Slamming his hand onto his desk to say the following. "I don't give a damn at this point! I just need the truth and that's it, Doctor." He takes in a deep breath.
"Here you go, Harriman." He will hand him his seven-page report in regarding the captain of the Seaview." Doctor Alverez needed to sit down in one of his chairs sitting in front of the Admiral to grab his bifocals to read the report.
Taking his time with the report. What he didn't like was the fact that the CMO reported that Captain Lee Crane was on the verge of breaking down after he was abducted a year ago.
Slamming his hand on the table. Admiral Harriman Nelson was angry at what the doctor had to write about Captain Lee Crane and his friend. "Are you serious, Doctor Alverez for when it comes to Lee?" he cried out with his response.
"I am, Harriman, so very much. We need to be keeping a close eye on the Captain before we reach the location of the missing ships and crews. However, he's going to be having a hard time when it comes to the Lizard aliens." He said loudly.
Nelson looked up at the Chief Medical Officer as if he had three heads at the moment. "You do realize I can't keep Lee locked up in his quarters. When he's supposed to be in the Control Room doing his job as the captain?" he responded in regard to his long time friend.
With a shake of his head. Doctor Alverez said the following to the owner of the Seaview and the Institute. "I am not saying that we lock up Lee Crane. I am just saying that we need to have better control of Lee's location at all times in case he gets into trouble with those visions."
"Fine, we will do this. However Lee is not going to like the idea of being watched all of the time, Doctor Alverez. Now do me a favor and get out of here so that I can take a break before heading back to either the Control Room or lab." He was angry as hell with the Doctor slamming his hand on the side of his right leg.
As for Admiral Nelson, he had gotten up as well in search of Captain Lee Crane.

Aft Missile room
Chief Francis Sharkey along with Ron and Patterson working a rear shift in the missile room had been going over all of the controls with a close look by Captain Lee Crane with his work order in his hand.
"I told you, Captain, that everything with the missile control board is fine. The three of us had checked it three times before we were able to make sure it was in working order." He tells the Captain having a slight blank stare.
"Okay, then Sharkey just make sure you send a copy to Admiral Nelson that everything is fine with the Missile Control Board?" Lee remarked with a slight hiss.
"Sure as always Captain Crane," Sharkey said while watching Ron and Patterson finish up their work on the board. When all of a sudden the Seaview is hit by some type of a electric charge.
Everyone on board the Seaview had landed onto the deck with Nelson having to be helped by Patterson. "Are you alright, sir?" he asked calmly for his long-time boss.
"Yeah, yeah, Patterson. I am just fine. We need to find out just what the hell is going on inside the Control Room?" Nelson needed to ask Chief Sharkey to call for a relief team to take over so that Ron and Patterson could run to the Control room.
Captain Lee Crane on duty along with Commander Chip Morton checked with all departments to find out that it was some type of a rogue submarine that had been following them for the past five plus days.
After the relief team had taken over the missile room. Ron, Patterson, and Admiral Nelson following behind asked Lee Crane just what the hell was going on. Captain Crane was standing behind Kowalski trying to figure out where the rogue submarine was located.
"Lee, what is going on to place all of the crewmembers on the floor?" Nelson remarked with a slight lump in his throat.
"Admiral, we are being followed by some unknown rogue submarine. I have all departments on full alert along with placing security at the key sectors on this submarine." Lee will tell him with his eyes on the radar screen.
Meanwhile, Kowalski will cry out the following….
"LOOK OUT! HERE WE GO AGAIN!" It was another shock to the submarine knocking it a few times placing all crewmembers off their feet and a few injuries to keep the sick bay busy. Doctor Alverez having to be in sickbay at the time receiving the calls from various of crewmembers.
Captain Lee Crane helped Nelson having bumped his head slightly off the ground. He was fine considering needing a full report and having all missiles ready to be fired at a possible target.
