Chapter 6
As batman made his way to the elevator a guard was trying to summon it. Batman then realized that something was wrong as Harley Quinn jumped on the opposite elevator. "Ah, ah, b-man, mistah J doesn't want you following us just yet," said Harley as she pressed a button tha caused bombs on the elevator explode.
"That can't be good," said Lori.
As the other elevator fell, the one Harley was on jerked up at a fast speed. "Get down," yelled batman as he pulled the guard out of the way. As the elevator came down, a voice rang on the PA system, "How do ya like that b-man? No way you're following us now. You're trapped down there until me and mistah J are ready for you," said Harley.
"Wow, that was intense," said Lincoln.
"Looks like Joker has plans for batman," said Luna.
'Gordon was taken up to the surface in the elevator. If I wanna follow them, I'll need to do this the old-fashioned way,' thought batman. As batman fired his grapnel gun, he was told by Joker that Harley and Boles were mowing down and killing the guards.
"This isn't good," said Luan
"Batman will stop them," reassured Lucy.
As batman continued his way up the elevator shaft. he finally reached the top of the elevator shaft as he was greeted by Joker's goons. As batman defeated the last thug, Oracle chimed in . "Batman, how's it going, any sign of dad?" asked Oracle. "Not yet but I'm getting close, Harley Quinn tried to slow me down. Dropped an elevator on me," said batman. "Did it work," chuckled Oracle. "Of course not, I'll get back to you once I reach the end of the trail," said batman.
"At least he has some humor," said Luan.
As batman continued through a vent he saw to guards get shot down right in front of him. "Oracle, Joker's men have taken control of the cell block transfer corridor," said batman. "That's not good, I've patched into a guard radio feed. Sounds like Joker's goons have got their hands on weapons," said Oracle.
"This is gonna make things harder," said Luna.
"I know, I'll the cowl's vision mode to isolate armed henchmen," said batman. 'The direct approach is suicide. I need to be smart, find a different way past them,' thought batman. Batman then noticed that the room was decorated with gargoyles, he used his grapnel gun to swing behind the thugs. When batman got behind them he silently took out the goons in the hallway.
"Wow, that was pretty sneaky," said Lori.
Jus then batman crawled up some stair to see Joker talking to another one of his goons as batman took him out silently. Joker then blabbed that he should warn his boys that he's on the way except that he thought it would be a fun surprise not to.
"This man is literally insane," said Lori.
