Chapter: 7
Sode no Shirayuki stared at me with a plain expression before sighing and shaking my hand.
"It's a pleasure to meet you as well."
"Indeed it's a pleasure and just so you know Burēdowākusu set me up to copy you."
"Hey!"
Burēdowākusu shouted probably mad that I threw her under the bus.
"I see."
"So I'm going to assume they gave you the rundown correct?" I asked
"Yes, they did."
"Wonderful then I would like to ask a favor. Well, it's more of a question than a favor," I said with a smile.
"What would it be?"
"Well, do you have any memories of any of those Kido techniques Rukia uses? And if so can you teach me them?"
Sode no Shirayuki hummed in thought then nodded.
"Yes I do but I don't remember many. I know 12 Hado's (Way of destruction) and 10 Bakudo's (Way of binding)."
"I don't mind but we will talk about teaching time later."
"OK."
"Now then Kuro, Burēdowākusu said came up with something what is it?"
"It's in relation to Burēdowākusu's copy ability and your cause and effect ability."
"Hmm." Burēdowākusu hummed now interested in the conversation.
"And that is?"
"Can you not say create weapons in here and let Burēdowākusu to increase your arsenal?"
"...You know you have a point."
"What does he mean by that?" Burēdowākusu asked
"Well, to put it simply Kuro is asking if I can use causality manipulation to create weapons you could copy to increase my arsenal of weapons outside of the zanpakutos I have copied and inevitably copy."
"So you mean extra weapons with or without special qualities."
"Pretty much yeah."
"I see."
"So is it possible?" Kuro asked
"Yeah, it is but that is for a later date but for now Shiro it's time for training.
"About damn time."
"Yeah yeah, I'm coming."
Three Days Later….
Two nights (read four days) of training later I made some headway into training during that time something happened like Ichigo's body getting hijacked by what Sode no Shirayuki called a mod soul and Ichigo getting it back but keeping the mod soul in his room in the body of a stuffed animal it was pretty funny to watch, to be honest. But also I learned pretty much all the Hado that Shirayuki remembered from Rukia's memories which also gave me some ideas for later. During the training period, I also started making weapons for Burēdowākusu to copy and then dispelling them while I was making weapons I was wondering if I could recreate weapons I have seen in anime and games could you imagine me swinging around weapons like EA (Fate series) or Venuzdonoa (misfit of the demon king academy) that sounds so fun but there is a catch and that is energy amount that's my only catch for weapons like those but that doesn't mean I haven't made any special weapons quite the contrary.
I managed to make my favorite weapon from Fate Caliburn the golden sword of assured victory. And boy did it drain me like drained me, drained me of both raw energy and reiyoku, and knocked me out just after Burēdowākusu copied it good thing too because the second I passed out it vanished all that aside today is a very important day. Today is the anniversary of my mother's death which led to the current situation I'm in.
"This is hard," Yuzu said
"Hmph not for me," Karin stated
"C'mon Yuzu! You can do it! Let Daddy show you how!"
"Look I'll walk the rest of the way on my hands!"
Dad said as he started to walk on his hands.
"Don't make eye contact. Attention will only encourage him." Karin said
"Not true….I don't need attention I'm self-motivated!"
Dad said as he picked up the pace.
"Run!"
"Whoa, daddy slipped! Polka Dots!?"
"Aaaah."
Dad did indeed slip and must have caught a glance under Yuzu's skirt.
"Vanish to the ends of the earth! Hat kick!"
Karin kicked Dad in the face and sent him down the hill we were walking up. Chuckling at the interaction happening behind me simply because it is that funny.
"I am quite curious about how he can be so energetic on a day like this."
'Ah, Shirayuki-chan it's good to hear from you. And as for the reason it's simple it's to keep us from feeling down that's a father's job in a situation like this after all.'
"...I see."
'Yeah, oh Rukia is here.'
"It seems so."
'Talk to you later Shirayuki.'
"Yeah."
Cutting the connection to the mindscape I looked ahead of me where I saw a familiar silhouette. It was a girl with a petite frame and short black hair wearing a white and blue dress and a sun hat. Yuzu and Karin noticed her too and said.
"Hey, another visitor."
Hearing Yuzu's comment Ichigo turned and looked up and spotted Rukia as well.
"For real? Is she here to visit Mommy too?" Yuzu asked
"Maybe. Hey she's turning this way," Karin said
Meanwhile, Ichigo looked like he had just seen a ghost."
"She's waving. A friend of yours Ichigo?"
"No! Never seen her before! Not ever! Never!"
"Hmm, she looks kinda familiar," Karin said
"Oh, now I remember! We were best friends from junior high! Like brother and sister! It's been so long! Give us some time to reminisce alone!"
"I'll go set her straight! You guys go ahead to Mom's grave!"
"Set her straight?" Yuzu asked confused.
"Aha!"
"Aha!? "Aha" what!?" Yuzu asked thoroughly confused.
"Well…. He's getting to that age."
"What!? What age!? Karin!? No!"
"Hehehe maybe we should give him some space."
Internally chuckling at Karin's statement a familiar spoke.
"King should learn to be more discrete."
'Hello to you too Shiro.'
"Riku."
'Anyway jokes aside yeah he should learn how to be more discre-'
Feeling hollow reiyoku in the direction Ichigo and Rukia ran to I cut my sentiment short.
'You guys felt that too right?'
"Yeah"
"Yes"
"Hmm"
"I did."
'Will Ichigo be fine with this one?'
"Unsure."
'Then I'm going to watch.'
"Understood."
"Yuzu, Karin go on ahead I have to use the bathroom."
"OK."
"Yeah."
Walking away from Karin and Yuzu after getting a good distance away I used shunpo to follow the hollow energy signature. Landing on a branch above Ichigo and Rukia. Not paying much mind to their convocation I used shunpo to move to another location.
"Where the hell is it?"
"It seems to be hiding its presence."
"Yeah."
Ignoring it for now I went to find Yuzu and Karin landing on a branch a few feet behind them intending to jump down and meet up with them. Looking in front of them I noticed they were talking to a girl with black hair. Looking at the girl I felt the hollow reiatsu once more.
'Found you.'
Jumping from the branch behind Yuzu and called out to them. Around that time some chicken-like noises were heard.
'Good timing Dad with the chicken whistle.'
"Yuzu, Karin it's about time we head over to where Dad is."
"Riku! Karin is acting weird she's being mean to that girl."
Yuzu said pointing at the girl in question.
"Don't worry about it head back I'll send Karin your way."
"Ok."
"Good."
Yuzu turned and walked away. When she was out of hearing range I said
"Karin back away from that thing now."
Karin hearing my statement looked at me and backed away until she was behind me.
"Oh, you can see me too. What a feast."
Looking behind me at Karin I whispered.
"Run."
She looked at me like she wanted to refute. But the look on my face indicated no room for argument. A reluctant look crossed her face before she turned and ran in the same direction as Yuzu.
"You think I would let you escape!"
The hollow yelled as a red thin shot out from behind the girl trying to stab the running Karin however it didn't even make it past Riku as it was severed in a flash of white.
"Say hollow you have some audacity don't you to assume you can just attack my sister in front of me don't you?"
I asked in my right hand was a sword made of raw energy.
The hollow growled before it revealed itself. It looked like a giant hamster with red bird-like hands and feet.
"Damn your ugly oh well no wonder you hide behind that lure of yours."
I said shifting to my soul-reaper form and creating a mask just in case Ichigo comes unexpectedly.
"Damn brat I'm going to take my time eating you."
"Yeah yeah."
Spreading my sensory range looking for Ichigo and Rukia.
'Oh he's on his way here it seems like I won't have to do much after all.'
Sensing the hollow attacking me jumping out of the way it attacked again and I looked at it with a bored expression behind my mask and said
"Fortunately for you hollow I will not be the one you will be fighting ain't that right Ichigo?"
The moment I said Ichigo's name the red tentacle-like thing it shot at me was cut to pieces and Ichigo landed on its head. Ichigo stared at me for a bit then I said.
"Your sisters are safe if you wondering and now that you're here I'll leave this to you."
Before Ichigo could respond I vanished via shunpo. Landing on a tree away from them but close enough that I can watch the fight.
Ichigo jumped off the hollow's head and landed in front of it facing it. Ichigo noticed the transformed lure of the hollow and said.
"What is this? You! That was you by the river that day six years ago!"
"What are you doing here? Why…. are you with a hollow!?"
'What… you're telling me that this hollow was there when mother died?'
The hollow spoke through the transformed lure.
"Six years? That's a long time I don't remember… but you have seen me before."
"Yes! Who are you!? Are you the slave to that hollow!? Is it controlling you!?"
"Start talking now!"
"Neither sonny." the lure said.
"What the!"
'Please don't tell me.'
"Wh… what the… what are you!?" Ichigo asked confused
"Incredible you actually saw me and live…hehe…"
"What are you?" Ichigo asked again.
"You're lucky." the lure said as its head and face started to peel away revealing something like a skull with a hole in it.
The lure continued to peel away until a red tentacle-like object protruded from the hole in the skull and shot out of the skull and connected to the head of the hollow pulling out the rest of the thing connecting to the skull. The hollow now had a red tentacle-like limb that hung from his forehead, similar to the lure of an anglerfish.
"What is that!?"
The follow stood there then it spoke continuing its previous statement.
"But your luck's run out, sonny. You have seen me twice! I have to eat your soul."
