1 day passed by, Naruto was summoned by Minato.
"May I know the reason why you summoned me here father?" Asked Naruto with a respectful tone.
"No need for formalities son. I called you here to train you for the chunin exams." Answered Minato.
"What do you plan on teaching me?" Asked the curious blonde.
"Not to mention, I have to train with my team since it is a team battle." Said Naruto.
"Don't worry Naruto, Kakashi already told how well you three work together as a team. As for what I will be teaching you," Said Minato raising his hands and formed rasengan.
"I already know how to use the rasengan." Naruto said, forming a rasengan in his hand.
Minato was a bit awed.
"uhh, did Kakashi teach you it?" Asked Minato.
"No, I recreated it by watching you perform it. It did take a few weeks, but I managed to make it." Replied Naruto.
"Hmm, then what about I teach you the Hiraishin? But I have to make sure you are at least level 8 in Sealing" Said Minato.
"I already cracked the jutsu father, I have learnt how to use the Hiraishin." Replied Naruto.
Minato was baffled now. It was true that he learnt the Hiraishin at Naruto's age, but the notes he gave the three were the advanced version. A version which is simply better in every way compared to the one Tobirama's original version.
"If you don't believe me, then I can prove it to you." Said Naruto moving towards one of the walls of the office.
He placed his own Hiraishin seal on it and went a few feet away. Then in a flash of orange, he appeared instantly near the wall. There was no mistaking it, it was the real Hiraishin Jutsu, it was the advanced version too. It can be identified with instant teleportation compared to the original one which took about a millisecond to execute.
Minato was stumped. Minato could definitely do better than Naruto in using the Hiraishin, but a 13 year old executing the jutsu to such a degree is simply impossible to imagine.
"The only thing you could teach me is on how to use this jutsu more effectively and your notes on adding elements to the rasengan. I know it has not been successfully done yet, but I want to give it a try." Said Naruto breaking the silence.
"Fine Naruto, I will train you on how to use the Hiraishin more effectively. You also waste a bit more chakra than necessary, the bright flash of orange is a giveaway of that fact." Said Minato.
"We will start our training tomorrow, I have to prepare a few things to help teach you." Continued Minato.
"Fine, but don't say about my techniques to anyone, that includes mom." Said Naruto
"Fine," Minato relented.
Naruto chose to train with Minato because Minato already has research on making a better version of Hiraishin and also has notes on making rasengan complete.
Naruto left for his house where he met Sasuke on his way.
"Sasuke, I will be training with my father to be proficient on the use of the Hiraishin." Said Naruto.
"Shisui will be training me on a few jutsu to show of." Said Sasuke.
"Sakura will probably be trained by Kakashi with a few Earth Jutsu. He is one of the few jonin proficient in Earth release." Said Naruto
"That's very likely" Replied Sasuke.
They rested for the entire day and planned for what they should do for the invasion.
Minato had another motive to train Naruto. It wasn't only for making bonds with his family, but also to make Naruto strong enough to handle himself in the invasion. He didn't want Naruto to be taken hostage.
Naruto made his way to training ground 0, the training ground made specially for the Hokage
"Hello father," Naruto greeted
"Good morning Naruto!" Minato greeted with a bit of happiness in his eyes.
"What level do you have your gravity seals on right now?" Asked Minato.
"I am at level 15" Naruto lied
Minato wasn't surprised, to learn the Hiraishin, you have to be crazy fast, even faster to use it effectively.
"Well, I will be giving you another seal, this seal is called a resistance seal. This is specifically made to make you faster. I made this trying to make a better gravity seal." Said Minato.
Minato pulled out a seal and gave it to Naruto.
Naruto carefully activated his rinnegan to memorise and break down the seals making up the resistance seal. He quickly deactivated it so as to not make Minato enquire about his eyes.
Naruto took of his shirt and applied the seal on him and put his shirt back on. He quietly increased the level of the resistance seal to level 21. He has to make the same modification to the resistance seal as he did to the gravity seal.
"Well lets start of with our warm up then," Minato said.
"Father, which level of resistance seal are you in right now?" Asked Naruto.
"I am at level 26." Replied Minato.
Naruto's eyes widened. It will take him years to reach that level! Unless he runs at top speed everyday, he will not catch up any time soon to Minato.
There is a reason why Minato is the fastest ninja alive.
Minato's top speed is about as fast as Gai's 8th gate speed. (Don't forget that Minato never got to reach his prime in canon, so he would be very strong if he had lived after the nine tails attack in the canon verse)
Naruto and Minato did their warm up quickly and started of with learning on how to use the Hiraishin more efficiently.
"Well Naruto, Hiraishin consumes a lot of chakra, so we have to reduce the amount we use by using it effectively. For this, place your seal on that tree and one more on the boulder there." Minato pointed out.
"I will also be joining you in it since it's been a while I practiced this myself. I have to be in my A game if I want to be strong don't I?" joked Minato.
Both Minato and Naruto placed their seals on the boulder and tree.
"Naruto, now you have to lower the amount of chakra you are going to use it. Lower it till a certain level that it may even seem impossible to execute the jutsu. By doing this, you can determine the minimum amount of chakra you need to execute the jutsu. If you practice like this, soon you will automatically use this jutsu without much chakra wastage." Instructed Minato.
'It does make sense, if I use shadow clones, can I speed this process up?' thought Naruto.
Sasuke meanwhile, was learning many wind and fire jutsu. He also learn the Chidori from Kakashi so as to have something against Gaara.
Sasuke copied the jutsu, and is now working with Kakashi on making variants for it.
Soon the month passes by, it's time for the chunin exam to start.
Naruto and Sasuke taught eachother what they learnt from Minato and Kakashi. They also worked on a new jutsu which they are planning on using in the exams.
September 1st, 8 30 AM
"A few of the teams are yet to assemble. We will start of the exam at 9 AM." Said Minato to his body guard.
"Good morning Kazekage, Good morning Tsuchikage." Minato greeted.
The other 2 kage greeted him back.
Slowly teams started to join the arena.
Iwa and Suna teams who felt outnumbered, are talking to eachother about teaming against Konoha.
The Konoha teams just ignored eachother and the other villages' teams, instead choosing to plan on what they are going to do.
"Why is Naruto not coming back to your compound?" Asked a curious Satsuki.
"He is just a stuck up asshole! He doesn't care about our parents! Mom was so sad that Naruto rejected the offer for him to stay at the compound! I will beat him up to a bloody pulp and bring him back to our compound." Menma said seething.
"hmm, he is just jealous of how mom and dad prefer us and Rin over him. He is simply needy" Replied Mito.
Satsuki was a bit taken aback, her team admitted that Naruto left because he was being left out, but now are saying that he should return back for just being an outcast again.
'What the hell is wrong with them? Of course Naruto will leave his home if he isn't taken care properly. Even Sasuke left the house because of the same issue.' thought Satsuki.
'well, it's not my problem as of now, I will have to try being promoted to chunin by the end of these exams! This will show how much better I am than Itachi!' Thought Satsuki. She long left Sasuke as her rival, now trying to reach Itachi's level and sees herself as Itachi's rival.
It was 8 50 AM now,
"Hello, I am Itachi Uchiha" Greeted Itachi.
"I will be the proctor for the final stage." He announced
"Listen up! You will pick a ball from here, in the balls there will be a number inscribed in them. You have to go to the gate with your respective assigned number!" Announced Itachi.
The teams got a number each and left for their allotted gates.
"THE GATES ARE GOING TO BE OPENED IN... 3... 2... 1... GO!" Yelled Itachi.
All the gates opened simultaneously. The battle arena itself was 500m radius. This place was filled with trees, boulders, and even a small hut. There were cameras spread around these places monitoring everywhere giving the audiences a clear view of what was happening there.
"This stage will last for 3 hours maximum! If 2 or more teams survived, the one with the most active members will be deemed as the victors. If it was a stalemate then, we will provide additional time, but if it itself is exceeded, then it will be a draw." Itachi announced.
All the Iwa teams grouped together, the Suna team was left all alone, but it was simply because Iwa didn't want to be grouped up with the crazy jinchuriki.
"Sakura, you go help out team 8, make sure you enter to help them when the Iwa group strikes them." Ordered Naruto.
"Yes," Sakura replied.
"If you need help, just send some chakra to this kunai, I will come to help you." Said Naruto
Naruto and Sasuke quickly made their way towards Team Gai.
"We will target the team with the Aburame," Said Kurotsuchi.
They quickly made their way to them.
Sakura held back from fighting so as to make team 8 a bit more desperate for help.
Team 10 joined the fight to help out team 8, but were quickly getting pushed back.
"They are clearly more experienced. That one has a kekkei genkei to boot, My strategies most likely won't work since they can easily over power us. All 6 of us are more support oriented compared to the other teams here." Said Shikamaru jumping back.
"Yes, but we can't loose so quickly! We won't get a chance of being chunin if we are eliminated now!" Yelled Kiba.
'What do I do? That kunoichi has a dangerous kekkei genkei, I have to target her first so as to remove the lava out of the equation. That will give us the higher chance of winning.' thought Sakura, preparing to strike.
"hmm, look at those losers, they are going to get eliminated with a few minutes," Whispered Tenten.
"You said something?" Asked Naruto right behind her.
Her eyes widened, she was about to jump away, but she was quickly knocked out. Sasuke knocked out Lee through the use of a genjutsu.
Neji huffed with a chip on his shoulder.
"I won't be that easy to defeat!" He said. Sasuke jumped at him,
But it was too late to react, he was punched right in his face sent him flying, breaking a few trees in the process. He was knocked out quickly.
The medics quickly came in and brought the knocked out team to the medic ward.
Hiashi and Hizashi were dumbfounded. Neji was supposed to be the prodigy of the Hyuga clan, but he was knocked out within 3 minutes of the match starting.
"Did you even train him?" Chastised a Hyuga elder.
Sakura Jumped and punched Kurotsuchi with full force. Kurotsuchi was sent flying, she was barely able stay conscious. The rest of the Iwa group was shocked to see their leader get punched like that.
Capitalising on this moment, Team 8 and Team 10 rushed to defeat the Iwa ninjas. After a few minutes, they were able to defeat the Iwa team.
Naruto and Sasuke made their way to the Suna team.
"Looks like our siblings are going to fight the Suna team." Said Sasuke.
"We have to take them down, they are more likely to cause us problems if we let them stay here, especially him!" Mito said pointing towards Gaara.
Naruto clapped his hands
"You must be very skilled to notice that he is the Ichibi Jinchuriki," Said Naruto sarcastically
Everyone's eyes widened. They now knew why Gaara had a dangerous feel around him. The Kazekage was pissed that Naruto just announced it openly.
"Don't worry, we will take you 6 down together!" Said Sasuke with a smirk
Sasuke drew out his katana and rushed towards the Suna team.
Naruto rushed towards team 11.
Naruto drew out his katana at high speeds, Mito barely blocked it, but she reacted too late for the punch headed in her way.
She was sent flying, Naruto kicked Menma who was rushing at him and was sent flying.
"You ass hole! We should have put you in your place, I will break all the bones in your body to bring you back to our compound." Menma shouted getting up from the kick.
Menma took of his shirt and released all his resistance seals. The seals which showed 15 glowed and went to 0.
Naruto kept his hands in the ram seal. "Release" He whispered. Naruto gave a small smirk.
'By the looks of it, he also uses the resistance seals. If he is smirking like that, then he must be of a higher level than us! But at most he will be at resistance seal level 16' thought Mito
All the teen girls cheered when Menma took of his shirt.
Currently, Naruto's speed is easily 4 times higher than Menma, who happened to be the fastest in his team.
Mito also released her gravity level as well, she removed her jacket to show her wearing a blue spandex with the same design as Minato's.
"You are using the resistance seal like dad, how did you get it!" Menma shouted.
"It's simple, he applied it to me." Naruto replied.
Their eyes widened, Minato taught Naruto instead of them.
'What did father see in him?' thought Menma with rage.
'we can't win like this, he is about 4 times faster than me and Menma' thought Mito.
Mito signalled Menma to transform.
Both Mito and Menma transformed into their chakra cloak.
'hmm, to think they are using the nine tails chakra this early' thought Naruto.
"Very well then, prepare yourselves to loose" Said Naruto.
Naruto engaged both of them in Taijutsu.
"Minato, Naruto is engaging them in taijutsu! it's dangerous for him, please stop this!" Whispered Kushina to Minato.
"Don't worry honey, Naruto knows what he is doing," Minato replied with a small smile.
Naruto quickly jumped back. Menma and Mito went to version 2 of their chakra cloak. They had 3 tails now.
'Hmm, to make this fight more interesting I have to egg on Menma more. He is the most likely one to get to the five tails stage' thought Naruto.
'I have to siphon a bit of the nine tails chakra to see if I can try replicating its density, the best way is to get as much chakra from them' Thought Naruto
Right now, Menma and Mito were only a bit slower than Naruto, the speed provided by the nine tails boosted their speed by 3 times.
Naruto continued to dodge them both, occasionally giving them a punch or two.
"Is that all you can do? You can only get to the 3 tails state Menma? Such a waste!" Said Naruto.
Menma's anger was starting to get the better of him now. The fourth tail started to come out of him.
'Just as I expected' thought Naruto.
Naruto's body glowed a bit,
"Release," He whispered.
All the Kage, Sasuke, Fugaku, Mikoto, Kushina and Itachi heard what Naruto whispered.
All of them except Sasuke's eyes grew wide. Naruto is at least 17 levels into the resistance seals training.
Naruto's speed just increased by 5 times.
He is a bit faster than Menma. Naruto quickly kicked away Mito, who flew to the corner of the battle arena.
'I have to stop Menma! Naruto is mocking Menma to make him angry! I have to use the adamantine sealing chains or he might go berserk!' Thought a worried Mito.
Mito drew more upon the chakra of the nine tails and was able to get up.
She quickly rushed at Menma,
"Adamantine Sealing chains!" She shouted. 'I have to stop him before he kills everyone!' thought Mito.
"Sage art: Light Fang!" Naruto whispered, cutting right through the chains. A huge chunk of the chain just fell down and disappeared with an ethereal glow.
"You are so weak that you had Mito try to save you!" Naruto said punching Menma on his abdomen.
Menma finally broke, the fifth tail started to come out.
Minato's eyes widened. He can't do anything about it but watch since the other Kage are watching this as well.
"Do something Minato! Or else everyone there will die!" Kushina whispered to Minato with a worried tone.
"You are just a pathetic looser who can't control his emotions." Said Naruto, flashing towards Menma.
Naruto's right hand glowed with a golden aura, he smashed his hand right on Menma's eight tetra gram seal.
He siphoned out a bit of the nine tails chakra from Menma and kicked him hard.
Menma went flying. Menma opened his mouth in a wide angle and blue and red orbs started to converge.
Naruto pulled out a Hiraishin kunai he made and held in front of him. Mito when she saw what Menma was doing, she ran to the other side of the arena.
Menma launched the Biju bomb towards Naruto. Naruto used the Hiraishin and teleported the Biju bomb to a bunch of Suna ninja.
Everyone were shocked seeing him do this. Naruto just used the Hiraishin jutsu Minato used during the nine tails attack to teleport a tailed beast bomb.
Naruto teleported to Menma to an orange flash. This nearly gave Onoki a heart attack.
Naruto's hand glowed with a blue light and struck him at where the seal is. Naruto tightened the seal on Menma.
Menma was knocked out.
Mito was shocked to see Naruto perform the Hiraishin.
Naruto teleported to her, he knocked her out capitalising on her surprise.
"Well, Naruto had his fun," Said Sasuke.
He quickly rushed at Satsuki and fought her for a while. Satsuki and Sasuke exchanged a few punches.
Sasuke, kicked her at high speeds, she flew towards the Suna team.
Sasuke rushed at them at jonin speeds, escaping Gaara's sand defences. He charged up a Chidori and plunged it at Gaara, knowingly missing the vital organs.
He pulled away and kicked Kankuro away, knocking him our.
Temari used a strong wind jutsu, Satsuki who was behind her used the fire ball jutsu which was magnified by the wind jutsu used by Temari.
Mikoto's eyes widened. Her own daughter is trying to kill her brother.
Sasuke was engulfed by the flames.
He jumped out of the fire, and went right at Temari's direction. He punched her, knocking her out without much effort.
Satsuki tried using her sharingan to track Sasuke's movement, but she wasn't fast enough to react to his movements.
Sasuke was moving about jonin level speeds.
Satsuki let go of her seals, matching his speed. Sasuke jumped back, he lowered a few levels of his resistance seals to make him faster.
He completely outclassed Satsuki.
She was barely able to react to any of Sasuke's attacks. Her defences were getting weaker every second, soon Sasuke delivered a low leg sweep, knocked Satsuki to the ground. He quickly seized the moment by knocking her out cold.
Now only Gaara, Team 8 and Team 10 were remaining.
The other teams just gave up seeing how outclassed they were. Not to mention that they had no chakra left after they fought the Iwa teams.
Gaara was getting angry second by second. He was heavily damaged.
His team instructor woke up Temari and Kankuro and ordered them to take Gaara away somewhere until he cools down.
The Konoha attack has begun.
Onoki jumped to the roof with a few of his body guards. One of the body guards took of his Iwa jonin vest to reveal the Raikage.
Now Minato, Kushina, Tsunade and Jiraya had to fight 2 kage and 3 kage level jonin.
Orochimaru revealed who he was and ran towards the Hokage mountain.
The third Hokage followed him till there.
