Total Drama Random Island

Chapter 16 : Search and Do Not Destroy

Johnnywilow26: I don't like Amy either but I couldn't put Sammy without putting Amy together and it's true that Sammy could have won the challenge. For Duncan I forgot who did it, sorry it's a mistake on my part.

Mycraft: Thanks

Luckyhill2: Thanks

Last time on Total Drama Island, both teams were disbanded, leaving our contestants to face their fates alone. To spice things up, Max returned to the island to increase the fun. The candidates underwent a series of painful trials. Dave intervened heroically to save Sky from the big snake. And in a deadly log-rolling demonstration, a bear had its hair shaved by piranhas, granting Leshawna invincibility. Now that it's every camper for themselves, who will be selfless? Who will be selfish? Who will be the finalist? To find out, watch the scariest episode of... TOTAL... DRAMA... ISLAND!

After the intro music, we find Idris, Duncan, and Dave chatting in the boys' cabin.

"Okay guys, I need you," said Dave.

"Why do you need us?" asked Idris.

"I want to tell Sky how I feel about her," declared Dave.

"Impress her, become an alpha male," said Duncan.

"Don't listen to him," said Idris.

"You know nothing about girls; we've already seen what happened with the blonde," said Duncan.

"Screw you, Duncan," said Dave.

Duncan ignored him.

"Dave, listen to me. You go into the woods, pick some berries, and have breakfast with her, then tell her how you feel," said Idris.

"That's the worst plan I've ever heard; girls love being mistreated," declared Duncan.

"You know what, Duncan? If my strategy doesn't work, I'll give you ten dollars," said Idris.

"Okay, I accept the bet," said Duncan.

"Then I'll do what you say and be myself," said Dave.

"Yeah, show her you're not a loser too," said Idris.

"Yeah, I'm going," said Dave as he left.

"You think it will work?" asked Duncan.

"I hope so, because if it doesn't, I think he'll go completely nuts," said Idris.

"I have an idea!" declared Duncan.

"Coming from you, I'm sure it's bad," said Idris.

"We're going to follow him," said Duncan.

"I was right, it's a bad idea," declared Idris.

"We're just going to watch what happens," said Duncan.

"Bro, it's his privacy," said Idris.

"Come on, man, don't tell me you're not dying to know what's going to happen," said Duncan.

Idris hesitated for a moment but finally agreed.

"Okay, you win, we'll follow him, but I'm still convinced it's a bad idea," said Idris.

Sky was taking a nap under a tree. She had gone for an early morning jog and stopped to rest. She was awakened by Dave. Opening her eyes, she saw that Dave was naked with enormous muscles and abs.

"Sky, do you want to be my jungle queen?" said Dave romantically, his voice much lower and softer than ever before. He held out a joke ring with diamonds.

"WHAT?" she screamed, waking up with a start. Dave was fully dressed, still looking as normal as ever. But he wasn't joking; he held out some berries.

"I said, 'Do you want some berries? They're clean," said Dave.

"Oh, sure," said Sky, blushing.

"I picked them myself," said Dave.

"You're so thoughtful," said Sky.

Confessional: Sky

Okay! I flirt with Dave sometimes. And I dream about him and my stomach fills with butterflies every time I'm with him, but that doesn't mean I have a crush. At least, I can't have a relationship with him.

Confessional: Dave

Sky has been acting weird lately. Sometimes she's warm and friendly, other times she's cold and seems scared of me. I think she's hiding something from me, but I don't know what.

End of Confessional

Dave and Sky sat seemingly for a while, eating berries.

"Uh, you have a little something there," said Dave, pointing to a spot on Sky's cheek.

Sky reached to wipe it, but Dave stopped her.

"Oh wait, let me get that," said Dave, pulling out a wet wipe for her cheek.

"Thanks," said Sky.

"So Sky, I have something to tell you. I love you and I want you to be my girlfriend," said Dave.

Sky's cheeks reddened.

"So Sky, what do you think?" said Dave.

"I'd love to, Dave, but," began Sky.

"Oh no, not another 'but.' Come on! What's the 'but'? Spit it out," said Dave.

"... Never mind! It doesn't matter," said Sky.

"Are you sure?" said Dave.

"Yes, it's really not important," said Sky.

"That reassures me a bit; I really didn't want to hear it," said Dave.

"Then yes, we can date," said Sky.

"Plus, I can help you get to the finale with me," said Dave.

"Are you proposing an alliance?" said Sky.

"Not really, but you never vote for me and I never vote for you," said Dave.

"You'd do that for me?" said Sky.

"Of course, but I won't let you win the finale," said Dave.

"Me neither," said Sky.

Confessional: Dave

YES! YES! YES! I'm going to win the money and then take a trip with Sky as a lover. The boy gets the girl and the girl gets the boy's money! ... That sounds wrong.

End of Confessional

Dave and Sky didn't know they were being watched by three people: Idris and Duncan from a distance, but also another intruder—Scott, who wasn't very happy about the situation.

"Oh no, I won't let you do that," said Scott.

Meanwhile, in Leshawna's trailer

Leshawna had just woken up, taken a shower, and was relaxing in her trailer.

"This trailer is really the best thing that has happened to me on this island," said Leshawna.

She enjoyed the morning sun while sipping a drink from the fridge. That is, until a cannonball destroyed the trailer.

"NO! My beautiful trailer!" said Leshawna.

"Companions! Meet me at the amphitheater in five minutes. I'll give you all the details on today's challenge," said Chris over the intercom.

The campers arrived pretty quickly, the last one being Scott with a big smile on his face.

Chris stood on stage next to a cannon. He was dressed as a pirate, with an eyepatch, a peg leg, and a parrot. Behind him was a large pile of white sheets.

"So my little sailors? Let's see what adventure we have in store for you," said Chris. His parrot fell, but he put it back.

"What's under that sheet?" said Shawn.

"All right, kid. Who's up for a good old-fashioned treasure hunt?" said Chris.

The campers' faces lit up at this news.

"This treasure hunt is a bit special. What you need to find isn't hidden and it's not treasure," said Chris.

"If there's no treasure, then why the eyepatch and plastic parrot?" said Duncan.

"Blimey! Good question, kid. You need to find keys to open a treasure chest," said Chris.

Chef removed the sheet to reveal eleven chests.

"Inside each of these chests is a treasure that should please you, landlubbers. One of these chests even contains an immunity card!" specified Chris.

"Wait a minute, Chris. If there's only one chest with immunity, why didn't you just put one chest and hide the key all over the island?" said Sky.

"Because we didn't think of that and it would take too long; the island is really big," said Chris.

"Step up and grab a clue from the bucket; these clues will tell you where your keys are," said Chris.

The campers gathered around Chris and all drew a clue.

Leshawna had the image of a crocodile. She raised her eyebrows.

Shawn had the image of a bear. "What! A bear," said Shawn.

Idris had a rush of bees. "Oh no, not bees again!"

Scott had a door with Chef Hatchet's head on it. He tilted his head, confused.

Duncan had a circle of fire. No reaction.

Sammy had a skunk on hers. She shrugged.

Gwen had a picture of a rabbit. She laughed.

Sky had a picture of a snake. She stared at the picture.

Brick had a picture of a shark. He was oddly confident.

DJ had a picture of a tree. He smiled.

Dave had a picture of a toilet. "No, don't tell me..."

"I hope you find this one. It's in the public toilets."

Dave's face paled.

"I really have no luck," said Dave.

"Looks like Sky is facing a snake," said Chris.

"Very funny, Chris," said Sky sarcastically.

"And I see Scott will have to enter Chef Hatchet's refrigerator. I heard he checks the footprints every day," said Chris.

"No problem, that's easy," said Scott.

"Go get your keys and bring them back by ten o'clock sharp so you can open the chests and claim your loot. Now go," said Chris.

Confessional: Brick

"I've been in the Marines for a while and everything you believe about sharks is false; they don't attack humans. But I have my secret weapon. A fish to distract them."

End of Confessional

Brick was on the Dock of Shame. He had a very confident smile on his face as he stripped down to his swim trunks.

"Brick's challenge is to retrieve his key from a shark-infested lake," said Chris.

The sharks eyed Brick and started circling menacingly. Brick gave them a provocative smile, threw a fish, and the sharks were distracted, leaving the key unguarded.

Brick dived into the water at full speed, grabbed the key, and surfaced.

"That was too easy," said Brick.

He twirled the key on his finger.

In Chef's Kitchen

Scott entered the kitchen confidently.

"Scott has to get his key out of Chef's refrigerator without getting caught," said Chris.

Scott peeked into the kitchen to see if Chef was there; luckily for him, he wasn't. He approached the refrigerator and slowly opened it. When the door opened, it revealed Chef with a menacing look and a knife in hand.

Seeing this, Scott shut the refrigerator and left, terrified.

In the Forest

Sammy found the skunk hole where her key was hidden. Unfortunately, the smell prevented her from going further.

"How am I going to get that damn key?" said Sammy.

"What's wrong?" said Idris, appearing out of nowhere.

"Idris? What are you doing here? You don't need to get the key," said Sammy.

"Yeah, but I'm not in a hurry," said Idris.

"My key is in the skunk hole, but if I put my hand in, I'll get sprayed," said Sammy.

"What if you use water?" said Idris.

"I'm not going to risk drowning it," said Sammy.

"No, skunks can swim," said Idris. In fact, he didn't know that for sure.

"Cool then," said Sammy.

Chef's Kitchen

Scott had returned with a packet of sleeping pills.

Chef was not present and had left his coffee on the table. Scott approached and put the sleeping pills in Chef's coffee.

He heard Chef's footsteps and went to hide. Chef returned with a newspaper in hand, and as he did, he heard the sound of the last flush.

He didn't notice Scott was there, drank his coffee, and fell into a deep sleep.

"HAHA, that was easy, almost too easy," said Scott.

He opened the refrigerator door, took the key, and left the kitchen.

Back at the Skunk Hole

Idris and Sammy carried a large bucket of water to the skunk hole. They quickly dumped the water in and ran away. The skunk left the hole, and Sammy took her key.

Confessional: Sammy

"Idris is really great; he took the time to help before getting his key. That was pretty cool. Well, okay, it was awesome. I love that, but don't tell Amy."

Confessional: Idris

"Since I found out the truth, my relationship with Sammy is more than great. I even dream about her sometimes. I love this girl, but I don't want to mess it up and repeat the same mistakes."

End of Confessional

The two looked at each other with loving gazes.

Sammy approached Idris and kissed him.

The screen froze.

"What a touching display of mutual trust," said Chris. "That's not a movie kiss," said Chris as he walked around the screen.

"Wow, Sammy, I didn't expect that," said Idris. "That's not true, I knew it," said Idris in his thoughts.

"Oh... I'm sorry for that," said Sammy.

"No, it's nothing, actually, I liked it," said Idris.

"Really?" said Sammy.

"Yes, and I want you to be my girlfriend too," said Idris.

"I... can't... can't," said Sammy.

"Listen, Sammy, I know you're still under your sister's influence," said Idris, taking Sammy's hand. "But let me help you. I'll help you, there are many people who want to help you, Leshawna, Jasmine, and probably others too," said Idris.

"If that's the case, I'd love to be your girlfriend," said Sammy.

"Cool," said Idris.

Someone who didn't expect to witness this romantic scene again was Scott.

Confessional: Scott

There are couples everywhere: Dave and Sky, Me and Amy, Shawn who wants to date the giant, and now Idris and Samey. I have no allies; my time on the island is numbered. I need to find one.

End of Confessional

In front of the Campfire

Duncan found himself in front of a circle of fire like the one from the circus where his key was found, but he didn't hesitate to dive into the ring and retrieve his key with ease.

"Duncan's skills seem to help him tackle the challenge with ease," said Chris.

"Is that all you've got, Chris? You're getting old," said Duncan.

"WHAT! You cheeky little... I should have put more fire," said Chris to his rival.

In the Forest

DJ found his key on a regular tree.

"I'm underestimated in this game," said DJ.

He started to climb the tree but couldn't make it; he found something on the tree that wasn't normal.

"This tree is oiled, I knew I wasn't underestimated," said DJ.

"Hey DJ," said Scott.

"Hey Scott, I see you already got your key," said DJ.

"Yeah, but you seem to be in trouble. Let me help," said Scott.

"Really?" said DJ.

"Sure, guys have to help each other," said Scott.

"That's nice of you," said DJ.

"But in exchange, you have to do me a favor," said Scott.

"Whatever you want," said DJ.

Public Toilets

Dave looked at the toilets like there was a serial killer in front of him.

"Think about the money and everything you can afford to buy for you and Sky," said Dave to motivate himself.

He put on a mask and snorkel and jumped into the bathroom.

The cameras didn't catch what Dave saw, but you could hear screams of disgust and frustration.

"WHERE'S THE DAMN KEY?" said Dave in frustration.

He continued searching for at least an hour but didn't find a key.

Confessional: Dave

"It's no coincidence that Chris gave me this challenge on purpose," said Dave.

Chris entered the confessional.

"That's true, but it's really funny," said Chris.

End of Confessional

Dave didn't lose hope and kept searching in the stinky water to find his key. But after a long battle with the sewage, Dave's hand found a key.

"Finally! Damn, I need a clear water shower," said Dave, running to the showers.

Cave

Shawn had found the bear's cave. The further he went, the less confident he felt. He entered and saw a sleeping bear with Shawn's key around its neck.

"Oh shit," said Shawn.

He quietly approached and grabbed the key, but the bear grabbed Shawn and placed him beside it like a blanket.

"I'm dead," said Shawn.

Forest

Gwen was looking for the rabbit that had her key, but for thirty minutes she found nothing.

"Searching for a rabbit in a forest is like searching for a nearby tree in a fort," said Gwen.

Just as she said that, a rabbit appeared with a key around its neck.

"Life is sometimes beautiful," said Gwen.

She confidently approached the rabbit, but it roared.

ARRRRRRRRRRRRH!

She stood there, shocked by the situation.

"Since when does a rabbit roar?" said Gwen.

Not too scared, she approached the rabbit and took the key.

"More fear than harm," said Gwen.

The Bee Rush

Idris and Sammy found the beehive.

Idris was searching.

"The bees gave me a real trauma," said Idris.

"That's true; you were very injured during the season," said Sammy.

"Yeah, and the season isn't over yet," said Idris.

"That's true, and I hope you and I make it to the final," said Sammy.

"Me too," said Idris.

Idris approached the beehive and put his hand inside. He pulled out a key.

"Good job, Idris," said Sammy.

Idris didn't have time to celebrate his victory too long because an angry swarm of bees came out of the hive.

"Uh... Sammy, I'll see you later if I survive,"

said Idris, running away.

"Good luck," said Sammy.

Tree

DJ and Scott had come up with a plan.

"I know how we're going to do this," said Scott.

"How?" said DJ.

"You're going to throw me onto the tree branch and then catch me," said Scott.

"It's a bit dangerous, but we can try," said DJ.

DJ prepared to propel Scott with all his colossal strength. Scott grabbed the branch and took the key.

"Get ready to catch me, DJ," said Scott.

"I'm ready," said DJ.

Scott let go, and DJ caught him like a pro.

"Thanks, Scott. What do you want me to do for you?" said DJ.

"I'll tell you tonight," said Scott.

Bridge

Leshawna crossed a fragile bridge that floated above a river populated by crocodiles, surrounding the rock where Leshawna's key was placed.

She wasted no time; she jumped in and started fighting the crocodiles.

She emerged from the water covered in wounds, but the crocs were dead. She took the key and left.

"Those crocs didn't stand a chance against Queen Leshawna," said Leshawna.

Cave

Shawn tried to free himself from the bear's grip, but to no avail.

"I have an idea," said Shawn.

He punched the bear in the snout and took the key. The bear woke up, angry.

Shawn stood in front of the bear and roared loudly at the bear, intimidating it.

The bear ran away.

"Phew, I thought I was going to die," said Shawn.

Cobra

Sky was in front of a cobra coiled around a key.

"Hi, little cobra," said Sky.

The cobra hissed.

"Wow, you're not a nice reptile," said Sky.

The cobra lunged at Sky and wrapped itself around her, squeezing tightly. She tried to break free, but the snake wouldn't let go. She thought she was going to die, but in a last effort, she rolled on the ground, causing the snake to loosen its grip. She succeeded.

"I thought it would never let go," said Sky.

She took the cobra and wrapped it around a tree, then took the key.

"The challenge is over, meet at the campfire in ten minutes," said Chris.

Confessional: Scott

My plan is finally coming together.

End of Confessional

Campfire

All the campers were gathered around the campfire. Dave had new clothes; he no longer wore his blue sweater but a white sweater with light blue stripes and black pants. Idris was covered in bee stings.

"What happened to you, Idris?" asked Dave.

"More bees, more bees," replied Idris.

Scott and Duncan laughed.

"It's time to open your treasure. Everyone who managed to get their key, come and open your chest," said Chris.

Duncan opened his chest and found chips and peanuts.

"Couldn't you do better?" said Duncan.

"Yes, I could, but I wouldn't," said Chris.

Brick tried to open his chest but couldn't.

"Chris, I think there's something wrong with my key," said Brick.

"I forgot to tell you, some keys open nothing," said Chris.

"I knew there wouldn't be such a simple challenge," said Brick.

Sammy opened her chest and found a toaster.

"What am I supposed to do with this?" said Sammy.

"You can take it home or give it to someone you hate," explained Chris.

"Good idea," said Sammy.

Leshawna opened her chest and pulled out a lamp.

"This would be perfect in my trailer. Oh wait, someone destroyed it," said Leshawna, glaring at Chris.

Chris looked away.

Sky opened her chest and found an accordion.

"Great gift for my little brother," said Sky.

Idris opened his chest and pulled out a perfume.

"A Chris McLean perfume," said Idris.

"Now you can say goodbye to all bad odors with this new fragrance," said Chris.

"Why not," said Idris.

DJ opened his chest and pulled out a fountain pen.

"Uh... Chris, I don't want to be rude, but this is a bit of a lame gift," said DJ.

"Today's teenagers are ungrateful," said Chris.

Shawn opened his chest and pulled out a bear trap.

"Great, I can replace my zombie defense system," said Shawn.

Scott opened his chest and pulled out shampoo.

"Pfft... Chris is really stingy," said Scott.

"Thank you, Scott," said Chris.

Gwen opened her chest and pulled out some books.

"Cool, I didn't have these," said Gwen.

Dave opened his chest and pulled out immunity.

"Yeah, I didn't dive into the sewers for nothing," explained Dave.

"Dave is the one who won immunity and is untouchable tonight. I'll be waiting for you tonight to say goodbye to someone," said Chris.

Girls' Cabin

Gwen, Sammy, and Leshawna were talking together while Sky was thinking on the bed, until Sammy came over to her.

"Are you okay, Sky?" asked Sammy.

"Yeah, I'm just a bit tired," said Sky.

"Are you sure?" asked Sammy.

"Yes," said Sky.

"Okay, then I'll let you rest," said Sammy.

Boys' Cabin

All the boys were in the cabin talking about everything together.

"So Dave, how did it go with Sky this morning?" asked Idris.

"Very well, she even agreed to be my girlfriend," said Dave.

"Bravo, soldier, you're becoming a man now," said Brick.

"You owe me ten dollars, Duncan," said Idris.

"Sorry, but I wouldn't be so sure if I were you," said Scott, silencing everyone.

"What do you mean?" asked Dave.

"She already has a boyfriend. His name is Keith, and she misses him a lot," said Scott.

"WHAT!" said Dave.

"And yeah, she's probably using you to go further in the competition," said Scott.

"How do you know that?" asked Idris.

"I watched all your audition tapes before coming to the island," said Scott.

"You really expect me to believe you," said Dave.

"If you don't believe me, go ask her," said Scott.

"I'm going right now, and you'll see Sky isn't a liar," said Dave.

Dave left the cabin and entered the girls' cabin. He knocked, and Sammy opened the door.

"Hi, Dave. What do you want?" asked Sammy.

"Hi, I want to talk to Sky," said Dave.

Sammy called Sky, and then she came out with Dave.

"What's up?" said Sky.

"Scott spread a rumor about you," said Dave.

"And what did he say?" asked Sky.

"He said you already have a boyfriend and that you're using me to get further in the competition," said Dave.

Dave expected Sky to laugh and mock him, but Sky didn't smile.

"You... You wouldn't do that, right?" said Dave.

"Technically, yes, but..." said Sky.

"No, no!" said Dave.

"Wait, Dave, I can explain," said Sky.

"What's there to explain? You have a boyfriend," said Dave.

"No! Well, yes," said Sky.

Dave said nothing, turned around, and ran to the beach while Sky went to the Dock of Shame.

Dave collapsed on the beach and slapped the sand in grief and fury.

Sky also collapsed on the Dock of Shame, slamming the boards in grief and fury against Scott.

The other campers all watched from their cabins.

"Idris, you should go see him," said Brick.

"Why me?" said Idris.

"You're his closest friend," said Duncan.

"But you taught him everything," said Idris.

"Yeah, but I don't get it, and I'm not very good at cheering people up," said Duncan.

"Alright, I'll go," said Idris.

"DJ, do you remember the favor you owe me?" said Scott.

"Yes, I do," said DJ.

"Vote against Sky," said Scott.

"Okay, I agree," said DJ.

"Guys, let's all vote against Sky to avenge our comrade," said Scott.

The guys agreed.

Idris approached Dave.

"Hey Dave, are you okay?" asked Idris.

"It's Sky, she lied to me," said Dave.

"Yeah, we heard," said Idris.

"I don't know what to do anymore," said Dave.

"If you need anything, you can tell me," said Idris.

"You can do something for me," said Dave.

"Yes," said Idris.

"Vote against me," said Dave.

"But Dave, it's impossible; you have immunity," said Idris.

"I'd rather give it to you," said Dave.

"All campers must join me at the campfire to eliminate someone," said Chris.

Confessional: Idris

I already know who I'm voting against.

Confessional: Sammy

So Sky cheated on Dave, that's tough for him.

Confessional: Scott

Goodbye, Sky.

End of Confessional

Later that night

The campers were all sitting in front of Chris, who held marshmallows on a plate. Dave got one first.

"The saved contestants are:

"Idris"

"Sammy"

"Shawn"

"Duncan"

"DJ"

"Gwen"

"Leshawna"

"Brick"

"Sky, Scott, only one marshmallow is left, and the one who doesn't get it must leave the island. The contestant staying with us on the island is...

"Scott."

"Sorry Sky, your adventure ends here," said Chris.

"What? Why me?" said Sky.

"Don't be so shocked; you manipulated Dave," said Scott.

"I didn't. Dave, I can explain," said Sky.

"Stop, I don't want to hear from you anymore. Go away, and I don't want to see you again," said Dave.

"You'll have to ask your boyfriend to cheer you up," said Idris.

"Now leave this island," said Leshawna.

"Chef Hatchet, come and get her," said Chris.

Chef picked up Sky and took her to the Loser's Boat.

End of Chapter 16

Author's note: Hello, I'm back for a new chapter that doesn't end very well. Sky's arc is over for Total Drama Island but not yet finished; it will return in Total Drama Action, but I assure you it will be shorter. As for the challenge, I didn't make any changes except that all the contestants found their keys. For Scott, I thought he watched the other campers' audition tapes to know his opponent.

My opinion on Sky: Well, I know I'm not going to make friends, but I don't like Sky very much. For me, she shouldn't have been in the final; I would have preferred to see Jasmine or Ella or even Sammy. And her relationship with Dave is so poorly written that it made me want to break my TV.
