Ok, that is a wrap for Act II. And that should've been much shorter. How it ended up like this? Beats me. My brain just kept adding things that felt just right. I suppose it had to happen after recovering? I went from slow, sluggish and with my ideas blocked to them just coming out like it was a water pipe with a hole in it.
I'll use the typical excuse: Shit happens.
Chapter VII is a perfect example.
I did want to bring up things with Nathaniel in this chapter BEFORE Sera and Heaven were seen in canon. Now, with Sera and all we found out? The scene just grew and grew as the characters played out with Nathaniel having grown angry in isolation and my interpretation of Sera having her nerves frayed by this mess. I even got an idea with the Cannibals. I did mention in this story before that Exterminators do not follow the rules strictly and also strike at hellborn, but making the Cannibals basically the result of generations of slowly corrupting human beings in Hell? I thought it sounded nice. Plus, even if canon says they are Sinners (which I fucking doubt. Too uniform a species. But who knows? I sure as fuck hope they are hellborn), they'll remain hellborn here. As a side note, I also made up an excuse for Heaven to help Loopty and Lyle, and to show another way in which Heaven is not all smiles, glitter and crap.
The scene with Lucifer also grew. I was originally going to make it smaller, but after changing a few things to make him full canon in height and changing his hair color I also made a few tweaks to the scene and it ended as it is now. Btw, I don't know why I aimed for white in the first description when I already knew it was blonde. Mistake on my part? Eh, this way it gives things more character.
The only one of the bunch that did not grow was the scene at the beginning, with the end with Rosie also going far beyond what I had originally planned. In the end this felt like a chonker of a chapter to make, but I am still happy how it turned out. And yes: It was always the plan for Evelinde to get knocked up by now. Also, yes, there will be more of that. No fuckind duh.
In any case, that is it for VII.
Onto other matters then.
I want to delay the next chapter, but mostly because I want to see if we get specific information. I'd like to be nebulous but, come on, we are going to Lust. I am pretty sure some of you guys may know why I want to wait and what I may want to see, considering one particular episode that is coming up 'soon'. I'll probably have one more chapter before I have Carlos and the others with him meet who I want, but that would be it.
Whatever the case, see you guys soon. Cos at worst I will delay the new chapter two or three months, but no longer than that. If I don't get the canon info, I'll just make shit up and deal with it. If I stay put for too long this story dies, and I don't want that.
Oh, and if you guys just got here when this got posted: I already have around 20 scenes written for the sidestory 'Day by Day'. At one per week, and more getting written till I at least reach 30, I suppose I have a lot of content. Fuck, maybe I'll probably get to month (Act) II before I start posting shit. If I also decide to be lazy and release every little bit of Data (Character sheets and other stuff) that way, then I have close to nine months and some change's worth of uploads already. Either way it will be a nice way to show the many interactions between everyone and other smaller (or at least shorter) events that I couldn't fit on here because the main story is just a massive thing. Oh, also drawings of the girls, my sister did come through (Not going to make her draw EVERY fucking OC, I don't pay her for this XD).
I will also start working on 'Rapture'. I don't know how regular I will be with that one, considering it will be a load as heavy as Ouroboros, but I want that idea put on paper soon, it is making me miss fucking sleep. In fact I am being the usual bitch and I am having far too many ideas for my brain to shut them down. This to some may sound good, but fuck me if it isn't a problem when you cannot shut it all down.
So yeah, I am going to get working on 'Rapture' for a while. See ya guys soon.
