Same Day: Ground
Quinjets Platform
A group of SHIELD agents on the platform goes to help Steven/Captain Universe and Mabel/Iron Woman in the Quinjets, but they all get attacked by the Diamond Soldiers, aka Lars Barriga and Connie Maheswaren, without their masks and goggles.
A SHIELD agent runs forward, uncoupling a grenade. Connie/Diamond Soldier, holding a machine gun up and looking through the eye scope, shoots at the SHIELD agent in the chest and neck, making him fall and drop the grenade. Connie/Diamond Soldier quickly runs forward and catches the fallen grenade. She throws it in a Quinjet as she runs past, and while the rear doors are closing, the jet then explodes from within.
A SHIELD crew member raises his gun and shoots at the Diamond Soldiers. Lars/Diamond Soldier quickly walks forward, holding his metal arm up to block the bullets before punching him hard in the face. He then front kicks another SHIELD crew member hard, making him fly back into a Quinjet engine wing, killing him as the engine explodes. Connie/Diamond Soldier runs to the left, and Lars/Diamond Soldier follows.
A SHIELD pilot inside a Quinjet is about to head off but hears a thud sound and looks up to see Connie/Diamond Soldier on the roof of the jet, holding her machine gun towards him and shooting him through the glass. She throws the empty gun away and slides down to the right of the jet as Lars/Diamond Soldier walks up to the left of the jet. He rips off the side glass window with his metal arm.
Connie/Diamond Soldier rips off the right side glass window with her metal hand, then grabs a hold of the dead SHIELD pilot and throws him carelessly out of the jet. The Diamond Soldiers climb into the jet, sitting in the pilot's seats, and Lars/Diamond Soldier flies them off towards the Helicarriers in the air.
The Triskelion, SHIELD Headquarters
Inside: World Security Council Meeting Room
Councilman Yen is still pointing a gun at Nathan, who stands a couple of feet from Pacifica, who's on the glass computer that's beside the glass-wall computer screen. Pacifica looks at the wall screen, which shows 'RESTRICTED ACCESS', meaning she can't get in.
Nathan tells Pacifica, who looks at him, "Disabling the encryption is an executive order. It takes two Alpha Level members."
Pacifica looks at Nathan, "Don't worry. Company's coming." Just then, they all hear a helicopter approaching. Everyone looks out the window to see a helicopter landing on the helicopter platform. In confusion, Nathan walks a few steps towards the window. Yen follows Nathan with his gun, still pointing at him.
Outside: Helicopter Platform

Inside: SHIELD Headquarters
World Security Council Meeting Room
The male figure opens the glass door, revealing Rick Sanchez with his left arm in a sling as he enters the building. Nathan nods, not surprised to see Rick alive but expecting it.
Rick enters the room, glaring at Nathan, who's not fazed by the glare. He holds his hands on his hips and casually asks Rick, "Did you get my flowers?" Rick doesn't respond. He looks at him coldly. Pacifica straightens up as she looks at Nathan, "I'm glad you're here, Rick."
Rick questions, "Really?" He steps down and walks towards Nathan as he says bitterly, "Because I thought you had me killed."
Nathan tells Rick, who stops a few feet away, "You know how the game works."
Rick asks Nathan, "So why make me head of SHIELD?"
Nathan tells Rick honestly, "Because you were the best and the most ruthless person I ever met."
Rick tells Nathan his glare is not falling anytime soon, "I did what I did to protect people."
Nathan tells Rick, "Our enemies are your enemies, Rick. Disorder. War." Rick tilts his head a bit as he listens to him, "It's just a matter of time before a dirty bomb goes off in Moscow or an EMP tries Chicago. Diplomacy?" He steps closer to Rick, "A holding action, Rick. A band-aid. And you know where I learned that, Bogota." Rick straightens his head, slightly surprised but not showing it, and glares at Nathan, "You didn't ask. You just did what had to be done. I can bring order to the lives of seven billion people by sacrificing 20 million. It's the next step, Rick. If you have the courage to take it."
Rick steps closer to Nathan, saying, "No. I have the courage not to." Rick grabs Nathan's arm and takes him to the glass-wall computer screen. Pacifica types into the computer, pulling up a retinal scanner on the big screen as Nathan glares at Rick.
The SHIELD computer's voice says, "Retinal scanner active." Pacifica steps closer to Nathan and points her gun at him.
Rick nudges Nathan closer to the screen, and Nathan chuckles. He looks at Rick and says smugly, "You don't think we've wiped your clearance from the system?"
Rick nods a bit, still glaring at Nathan, "I know you erased my password. Probably deleted my retinal scan. But if you want to stay ahead of me, Mr. General-" Rick steps closer to Nathan, then he moves his eyepatch to the side to reveal his scarred dead eye, saying darkly, "-you need to keep both eyes open." Nathan is unfazed as he looks at Rick's eye.
Rick takes a step back, and they both look into the retinal-scanner; Nathan uses his right eye while Rick uses his left dead eye. SHIELD computer's voice says as it scans Nathan and Rick's eyes, "Alpha Level confirmed. Encryption code accepted. Safeguards removed." All the restricted files open, and Rick and Nathan look at one another.
Inside: COMM Room
Tambry/Crystal Dove is sitting down and looking at the monitor screen for the Helicarriers, "Charlie carrier is 45 degrees off the port bow."
Marcy/Hawkeye, standing beside Tambry/Crystal Dove on her right, Marcy/Hawkeye looks at the monitor screen, sees live footage of the camera from outside the room, and notices two HYDRA agents breaking into the room. She straightens up, casually grabs her gun with her right hand from her right thigh holster, and shoots twice at the HYDRA agents without looking at them, killing them as they enter. She looks at the time on the screen, informing in her earpiece, "Six minutes."
Outside: ALPHA Helicarrier / Sky
Steven/Captain Universe, and Mabel are running towards the edge, trying to get away from the HYDRA agents as they are behind them. One with a bazooka. He goes down on one knee, lining up the weapon on his shoulder with another agent with a machine gun, aiming at Steven/Captain Universe and Mabel.
Steven/Captain Universe holds his wrist up, saying, "Hey, Mordecai, gonna need a ride." Mabel holds her wrist up, tapping her watch.
Mordecai/Blue Jay flies towards the Alpha carrier, "Roger. Let me know when you're ready." The Iron Woman suit comes flying just ahead of Mordecai.
The HYDRA agent shoots the bazooka at Steven/Captain Universe and Mabel, but they jump off the edge as the missile hits their feet. Steven/Captain Universe free-falls as he responds in his earpiece, "I just did!"
Mordecai/Blue Jay tucks his wings behind him and flies faster as he goes down towards a falling Steven/Captain Universe. Mabel turns her back towards the ground, and her suit comes under her. As it opens up, she enters, and the suit attaches itself around Mabel and activates her thrusters, flying down.
Mordecai/Blue Jay flies down and catches Steven/Captain Universe in time before he can hit the ground. Mordecai groans and shouts as he holds Steven, activating his wings to fly back up towards the Helicarriers. Mabel/Iron Woman comes around and grabs Steven's other hand and helps Mordecai/Blue Jay carry Steven/Captain Universe up to the last Helicarrier.
CHARLIE Helicarrier Platform
Mordecai/Blue Jay and Mabel/Iron Woman fly up to the Helicarrier platform with Steven/Captain Universe. They let go of him, and he lands on his feet. Mordecai/Blue Jay also lands, putting his wings away and walking with Steven/Captain Universe, telling him, "You know, you're a lot heavier than you look." Mabel is still in her suit, hovering over them but not looking in their direction.
Steven/Captain Universe tilts his head, "I had a big breakfast." Suddenly, Lars/Diamond Soldier appears, runs, and pushes Steven off the edge, causing him to free fall.
Mordecai/Blue Jay shouts, "Steven!" Mabel/Iron Woman's head turns in their direction, and Mordecai/Blue Jay runs, jumps off the edge, and activates his wings to fly down to help Steven/Captain Universe. However, Lars/Diamond Soldier grabs one of his wings with his metal arm and throws him back onto the Helicarrier.
Mordecai/Blue Jay flips mid-air, quickly gets his guns, and starts shooting at Lars/Diamond Soldier as he backs away. Lars/Diamond Soldier side-flips to avoid the bullets and hides behind a cannon.
Mordecai/Blue Jay goes to fly off and help Steven/Captain Universe, but Lars/Diamond Soldier comes out of hiding. Holding up a device and clicking it, a hook and rope spring out and attach to one of Mordecai/Blue Jay's wings.
Lars/Diamond Soldier pulls the rope hard, and Mordecai/Blue Jay falls back on the platform, and lands on his back. Lars/Diamond Soldier pulls again and rips off the wing.
Mabel/Iron Woman quickly flies down towards the two. She goes to tackle Lars/Diamond Soldier when a metal pole suddenly hits her across the chest, making Mabel/Iron Woman fly backwards, off the carrier by Connie/Diamond Soldier, who carelessly tosses the pole aside.
Mabel/Iron Woman recovers quickly and watches as Lars/Diamond Soldier runs fast towards Mordecai/Blue Jay, who stands up, but Lars/Diamond Soldier front-kicks him off the Helicarrier. Mabel/Iron Woman turns to fly down to Mordecai/Blue Jay but Connie/Diamond Soldier quickly runs and jumps off the carrier, tackles Mabel/Iron Woman mid-air, and catches Mabel off guard.
Inside: Mabel's Iron Woman Suit
Mabel groans from the impact of the tackle.
Outside: Sky / CHARLIE Helicarrier Platform
Mabel/Iron Woman and Connie/Diamond Soldier are dropping mid-air until Mabel/Iron Woman finally gets in control and flies them back up towards the Helicarrier. She pushes Connie/Diamond Soldier off her, and they drop down to the carrier's platform.
Mordecai/Blue Jay is free-falling. He ejects the other wing from the pack and gets his parachute out. He shouts in pain as he uses his strength to pull the handles on the parachute to slow him down. He's falling too fast towards the ground. He lands hard on his feet onto the roof of the Triskelion building.
Steven/Captain Universe grabbed onto the edge of the side rear engine thruster wing and hang off of it. Mordecai's voice in Steven's earpiece said, "Cap! Cap, come in. Are you okay?"
Steven/Captain Universe answers Mordecai/Blue Jay as he pulls himself up, "Yeah, I'm here. I'm still on the Helicarrier." He stands up on the rear wing, "Where are you?"
Mordecai's voice answers sadly, "I'm grounded."
Ground
Mordecai looks up to the Helicarriers in the air, his goggles off, "The suit's down. Sorry, Cap."
CHARLIE Helicarrier Platform
Steven/Captain Universe assures Mordecai in his earpiece, "Don't worry, I got it." Steven/Captain Universe runs forward to get inside as Lars/Diamond Soldier watches Steven from on the platform above the Helicarrier.
