Chapter 4: Kung Lao
As Luz returned to the roster screen, she was wondering who to play as next. That was when she asked Willow to pick the next fighter.
"How about the guy wearing the hat," asked Willow.
"Okay, Kung Lao, then," said Luz.
When the fight started, Willow decided to read up on Kung Lao. "It says here that Kung Lao is a monk who is a master of combat," said Willow.
This made the group impressed with how skilled Kung Lao is.
"It also says that he entered the tournament to fight someone called Goro in order to avenge his ancestor," said Willow.
"Why's it always revenge in this world," said Emira.
Everyone just shrugged as they didn't know themselves. Just then, the 'Finish Him' sign came up, and Luz put in a command into the controller.
Kung Lao removed his hat and threw it as it was shown that his opponents head was cut off as the hat came back, Kung Lao then used his hat to slice his opponent in half(Fatality 1).
"So it appears that Kung Lao's hat is a blade hat," said Eda, who had never heard of a hat with a blade on its brim.
As Luz restarted the match, she put in a different command into the controller.
Kung Lao then kicked his opponent onto the ground and threw his hat at the ground as it started to spin. Just then, Kung Lao pulled his downed opponent towards his hat as it sliced his opponent in half as Kung Lao then held both halves of his opponent in both his hands(Fatality 2).
Before the group could say anything, they realized that it was getting late and that they had school tomorrow. They decided that they would continue the game after school.
As everyone went home they couldn't help but wonder who was the next character they would see.
