Princes Six

A pair of cousins go to a concert never expecting anything other than a night of dancing. However when they set eyes on the two lead singers, they find themselves taking an interest in them. Will the singers have the same interest and how will the night go for all in envolved?

It all began when two cousins Kagome Higurashi and Serenity Wheeler attended a concert that was being given by a band called Princes Six and even though they were a new band they were very popular especially with the girls because all the boys in the band were tall and drop dead gorgeous. There were the two lead singers one being Koga Wolf, he had tanned skin, jet black hair which was always worn in a high ponytail and a pair of mesmerizing sky-blue eyes, who was known to play his guitar at some of their concerts but not often. The other lead singer was Duke Devlin, Koga's twin brother who also happen to play the electric guitar at some of their concerts, he like Koga, had tanned skin and black hair worn in a pontail, the only difference between the two being that Duke's eyes were jade-green. There were also two half-brothers in the band, one being Sesshomaru Taishou, he had silvery-white colored hair and golden eyes, who played the saxophone and sometimes an acoustic guitar and the other being his little brother Inuyasha Taishou who played drums. Then there was Yami Muto, a lavender eyed guy with black spiky hair and blonde bangs who played the base guitar and Seto Kiba, who had short brown hair and deep blue eyes and played the keyboard. The band may write their own songs but would also occasionally cover songs from other bands especially at their concerts. Kagome and Serenity had been wanting to see this group since they had first heard about them, the story went that these three sets of brothers were from different places and had met in a college they had attended and while they were there had formed a band. The six of them had fought over what to call themselves for about a week until they finally came up with Princes Six and it just seemed to stick. They had first performed for their peers at their college in a talent show, then played at a local festival and they played there three years in a row. Their fourth year playing at the festival was when they got discovered by a big to do band agent Roy Mustang who had been there looking for new talent. When he saw Princes Six play for the first time he knew that these guys had real talent so after the festival had ended and they were packing up he approached them, made an offer and they quickly became known and very popular. To the band's surprise they didn't have much trouble with fan girls as they had expected, that might have been because all the guys in the band either had a girlfriend or were married even their band manager Roy was married to Riza Hawkeye. The only ones who hadn't found themselves a girl were Koga and Duke and while their band mates and even Roy tried to set them up with a girl they'd always say that they were waiting for the day when the right girl would find them. Little did they know that this would be the day that they would meet their dream girls.

Both Kagome and Serenity were right in the front row so they could see the band clearly, "I'm so excited I hear that these guys are drop dead gorgeous," Serenity said. "I know I can't wait to see them in person..." Kagome added as Roy came over the microphone. "Evening it's good to see we have such a grand turn out for this concert let me introduce the guys to you..." he turned towards the back as the light shown on the drummer, "our drummer Inuyasha Taishou." As soon as the name left his lips the crowd cheered, "over here on keyboard we have Seto Kiba," again the crowd cheered. "On base guitar is Yami Muto...on saxophone and acoustic guitar Sesshomaru Taishou..." the crowd's cheers grew louder when his name was spoken, "and our two lead singers Duke Devlin and Koga Wolf." The crowd may have erupted when the light shown on the twin brothers but to Kagome and Serenity it was completely silent. When they first laid eyes on the pair a gasp escaped their lips and their mouths hung open slightly, "wow..." was Serenity's only reply. "You're not kidding..." Kagome agreed, "Koga's so handsome.." she sighed dreamily. "I like Duke..." Serenity added. They were quickly brought out of their daydreams when Koga's voice came over the microphone, "hello Tokyo." The crowd cheered, "you ready to have a good time?" Duke asked as the crowd cheered louder. "I guess we have our answer," Duke said glancing at his brother. "Looks that way bro..." Koga replied then turned to the band, "hit it..." with that the music began to play.

As the song played Kagome and Serenity had a smiles on their faces, "I love this song it's one of my favorites," Kagome said. "Yeah me too," Serenity agreed as they sang along.

Why did it all go wrong?

When the song ended the crowd erupted into cheers and applause until Koga came over the microphone, "now this song me and my brother wrote together before we decided to start a band with these guys it's called, Look Through My Eyes."

As Koga sang the chorus he noticed Kagome standing there looking up at him, when he saw this he winked at her making a blush cover her cheeks. When Serenity saw this she squealed with delight, "he just winked at you Kagome, he must like you." "I don't know about that Serenity," Kagome replied looking at her cousin then back up at Koga.

When the song ended Koga looked at Kagome again and smiled this caused her blush to darken, "oh my gosh Kagome first he winks at you and now he smiles at you...I'm jealous," Serenity teased. Kagome giggled as she looked at Koga who was watching her as she smiled back at him. After receiving a smile in return he turned to his brother Duke, "hey bro you see that girl in the front row?" Koga whispered. Duke glanced out of the corner of his eye and saw who Koga was referring to, "ah I see so she's the one who you've had your eye on," Duke said in an equally soft tone. "Yeah she is," Koga said. "So what about her?" Duke asked curiously. "There's just something about her and it looks like she has a friend beside her too," Koga said motioning to the ginger haired girl beside Kagome. Duke looked at her and when she glanced his way when she spoke to Kagome he was smitten at first sight, "wow she's really pretty.." Duke said. "Yeah and her friend don't look bad either..." Koga added, "hey I got an idea why don't we do the other song me and you wrote for when we wanted to bring a girl on stage?" Koga suggested. Duke knew the song his brother was referring to, "sounds good to me," Duke replied. He then turned to inform the rest of their band what they were planning and after receiving a nod from the band turned towards the crowd, "alright for this next song we'll need two lovely ladies to come up here with us...Koga why don't you select the two lovely ladies," Duke said. At hearing this Kagome and Serenity were on pins and needles, "I wonder if he'll pick us." "I don't know I hope so though," Kagome replied. It was then that Koga walked over to the front of the stage where they were and held both hands out to them, "ladies..." he said with a smile on his face. Kagome and Serenity both blushed as he lifted them onto the stage as the women in the crowd squealed and cheered. "Ah I see my brother has selected two lovely ladies from the front row..." Duke said as Koga brought them over, "what are your names?" Duke asked placing the microphone in front of them, "Kagome..." "And I'm her cousin Serenity." "Lovely names for two lovely ladies alright Kagome you come stand next to me and Serenity stand with Duke, we'll get you two to help us out with this song. Do you two know the song To Be Your Hero?" Koga asked. "Yes we do we love that song," Kagome replied as Serenity nodded. "Ok hit it," Duke said as the band began to play.

This was where the girls really got to shine the most both Koga and Duke were pleasantly surprised that these girls performed so natuarlly on stage.

When the song ended the crowd erupted with cheers not only for the band but for Kagome and Serenity as well, Koga and Duke smiled at the pair, "you two did a good job singing up here with us," Duke said. "Yeah defiantly," Yami added. "Thanks guys," Kagome replied as she and Serenity blushed. "Hey after the concert why not come back stage and hang with us for a while?" Koga suggested. "Really?" Serenity asked. "Yeah of course..." Duke replied. "We'd love to have your compnay," Inuyahsa added as Yami, Sesshomaru and Seto nodded in agreement. "Sure we'd love to thank you so much," Kagome replied. "No problem see you after the show," Koga replied as he helped them get back to their places in front of the stage where they had been standing previously. Once they were back in their places some of the girls swooned and praised the two cousins, "you're so lucky," one girl said. "Wish I had been the one he pulled on stage," said another. Kagome and Serenity giggled, "sorry girls I guess we were the lucky ones tonight," Kagome said. "Don't worry I'm sure one day you'll be pulled on stage and get to sing with a band too," Serenity reassured as the band began playing again. This time the song was Drunk On You.

When the song ended the band played several other songs that being, Thunder Rolls, I'm Gonna Be Somebody, Home Boy and Ol' Time Rock-N-Roll. After playing those songs Koga came over the microphone once more, "alright we thank you all for coming tonight we enjoyed having you. Our final song is going to be Point At You."

When the song ended everyone began filing out of the stadium all but Kagome and Serenity who excused themselves to the ladies room to freshen up a bit before going back stage to hang out with the band for a little while. "Wow that was a great concert and I still can't believe we got pulled on stage," Serenity said. "I know that was so much fun I thought I'd be really nervous but I'm kind of surprised that I wasn't," Kagome added. "I know I use to have stage fright I don't know if it's still there or not but I think that having Duke and Koga next to us defiantly helped," Serenity replied. "You have a point there, alright let's go back stage and hang out with the guys," Kagome said walking out of the ladies room. "Right behind you," Serenity said following her cousin backstage.

Backstage the band was packing their instruments up before they stopped and rested while Roy was getting them all some food and drink, "I think that was the best show we've ever given," Duke commented. "I agree with you there, it's always good to see the people smiling and having a good time," Yami added. "Most defiantly and great idea to Duke and Koga for bringing Kagome and Serenity on stage tonight where did you come up with that anyway?" Inuyasha said. "Oh well um..." Koga started to stumble over his words a little bit as he tried to hide the blush on his face, "it just kinda came to me that's all." In all the time that the guys had spent together they had never known Koga to act the way he was now. Inuyasha and Yami just glanced at each other then back at Koga, "hey Koga are you feeling alright?" "Yeah I'm fine why wouldn't I be?" Koga retorted glancing over his shoulder at the two. "Oh no reason you just kinda had the look of a love struck pup," Inuyasha replied. The blush on Koga's face darkened slightly, "I...I don't know what you're talking about," Koga said crossing his arms over his chest and looking away. "Oh come on Koga you can tell us we won't tease you or anything," Sesshomaru replied. Duke who had been quiet the entire time knew how Koga felt about Kagome and truth be told he felt the same way for Serenity. "Alright look I don't know what it is but there is just something about Kagome that makes me feel so attracted to her, I can't figure it out," Koga said sitting down on the sofa that they had gotten off the bus after the show along with the coffee table. "Yeah I know that feeling," Yami said. "You do?" Duke asked curiously. "Yeah I felt the same way when I first met Tea she just had that something about her that made her just stay in my mind. And to point something else out Duke you kinda had that same look when Serenity was standing next to you too," Yami replied. The blush that Duke had on his face told Yami he was right, "uh huh I thought so you two have finally found yourselves a girl...didn't you?" Yami asked."Yeah I guess we have and they should be back here in a few minutes so don't tease us ok Inuyasha," Koga replied as he and Duke gave Inuyasha a warning glare. He put an innocent look on his face, "what? I would never..." but his words were cut off by his brother, "oh save it little brother we all know you love to pick at us and tease, it's in your nature," Sesshomaru said. Inuyasha's only response was to stick his tongue out at his brother, Sesshomaru just rolled his eyes, "real mature little brother." They had just finished getting all their equipment and instruments packed away when Roy arrived with the food and drinks, "dinner is served.." Roy said walking over to their table, "great show tonight you guys." "Thanks Roy," Koga replied as he took a sip of his drink as did everyone else. They then sat around the table to eat and chat, "so Koga, Duke I'm curious who were those two lovely ladies you pulled on stage with you?" Roy asked with a knowing smirk. At this question both brothers' bodies stiffened slightly before relaxing again, "well...am I going to get an answer?" Roy questioned. "Yes they are Kagome and Serenity," Koga replied. "Oh I see and who's idea was it?" Roy replied. Koga and Duke looked at each other before turning their attention back to Roy, "well I brought up the idea," Koga admitted. "But we discussed it with the band before hand," Duke added. "And we all agreed that it was a good idea," Inuyasha finished. "Really?" Roy said. The six guys all nodded as Roy looked at them, "it was a great idea well done," Roy praised as the band mentally sighed in relief. "So when am I going to meet these girls?" Roy asked. Before Koga could say anything Kagome and Serenity walked through the curtain, "hey guys." "Hey you two come on and sit down," Duke said. "We'd love to thank you," Serenity replied as Kagome smiled. "Have you had dinner yet we were just getting ready to eat?" Yami asked. "No not yet," Kagome answered. "Why don't you join us for dinner there's plenty to go around," Koga offered. "Well if it wouldn't be too much trouble," Kagome replied hesitantly. "No no trouble at all please come sit with us," Koga replied. Both girls smiled, "thanks so much.." Kagome said as she and Serenity sat between Koga and Duke. As they got something to eat Kagome spoke, "ok I'm curious we know all of you but who is he I know we saw him on stage when he introduced all of you but he didn't say his name?" she said looking at Roy. "Oh this is our band manager Roy," Sesshomaru replied. "Really?" Serenity asked curiously. It was Roy who spoke this time, "yes Roy Mustang." "It's nice to meet you I'm Kagome and this is my cousin Serenity," Kagome said motioning to the girl beside her. "Nice meet you both," Roy replied. "Mind if I ask you a question?" Serenity asked. "Yeah sure go ahead," Inuyasha answered. "How did you guys get your start? I mean how did you become a band in the first place?" Serenity replied as Duke offered her some of his drink which she graciously accepted. "Well that's kind of a long story..." Duke said. "We have the time don't we Serenity," Kagome replied. "Of course," Serenity added. "Ok well Koga and I are brothers but when we were young our parents split up so dad took me and moved to the city of Domino where he opened a game shop but we were born and raised in Otsu," Duke answered. "Did you say Domino?" Serenity asked. "Yes why do you ask Serenity?" Duke questioned. "Because me and my brother went to Domino High School and if my memory serves me correctly Joey said that he, you, Yami and Seto all met there and became friends," Serenity replied. "Wait minute you're brother is named Joey?" "Yes," Serenity answered. "I didn't know he had a sister, how has he been anyway?" Duke replied. "He's been really good actually got married recently to Mia Valentine," Serenity informed. "We'll I'm glad he's doing well when you talk to him again please tell him hello for me," Duke replied. "I will," Serenity said smiling. It was then that Kagome spoke, "it must've been hard on you two not being able to see each other often," she said placing a gentle hand on Koga's. "Yeah it was hard and the only time we got to see each other was on holidays and birthdays," Koga replied with a slight blush. "I couldn't imagine being away from any member of my family.." Kagome added then turned to the Taishou brothers, "so what about you two, where are you from?" she asked. "Well we were also born in Otsu but we had different mothers," Inuyasha said. "Really? So you are half brothers," Serenity said. "Yeah we are but the way we fight somtimes you would think we were full brothers," Sesshomaru added. "Most defiantly anyway Sesshomaru's mother abandoned him and my mother died when I was ten so father had to raise us himself," Inuyasha said. "Seems like you've had a hard life too," Serenity said. "Yeah but we did ok when he was thirteen and I was fourteen we moved to Tokyo and dad opened a business that was really successful," Sesshomaru added. "Wow so now Yami and Seto what about you?" Kagome asked. "Well we were raised in Domino and we had met Duke and Joey in high school became friends and had some crazy times too," Yami said. "So how did you all become a band?" Kagome asked taking a sip of Koga's drink that he offered to her. "Well we're all roughly the same age except for Sesshomaru and Seto they are a year older, but when we all graduated from high school we ended up going to the same college, became roommates and then decided to form a band," Inuyasha said. "Yeah when we did we fought for a week over what our band name should be," Duke said. "So how did you come up with the name Princes Six?" Serenity asked. "Well we wanted to base the name off of something we all had in common and turns out we all have royal blood in our veins so when we found that out we decided then to call ourselves Princes Six and it just kinda stuck," Koga replied. "Wow that's really neat I wish we had royalty in the family," Serenity said. "Hey you never know," Duke replied with a smile. "So are any of you married or anything?" Serenity asked. "Yeah Sesshomaru, Yami and Seto are and Inuyasha is engaged," Roy replied. "What about you?" Serenity asked. "I'm married to a childhood friend," Roy answered. "Huh..." was Serenity's only answer while thinking, 'so that means Koga and Duke are single.' It was then that Kagome yawned, "well it's been a lot of fun hanging out with you guys but it's getting late and we need to be getting home," Kagome said. "Yeah it is kinda late.." Koga said standing up and stretching as did everyone else, "hey weird question how did you two get here?" "We rode on the bus," Serenity said. "Oh do you and Kagome need a ride?" Duke asked. "No we can just take a taxi home," Kagome replied. "There's no need for that I can give you a ride home," Duke offered. "Really?" Serenity asked. "Of course," Duke replied with a smile. "Well..." Serenity thought it over for a moment then turned to Kagome, "is that alright with you Kagome?" "Of course thanks so much," Kagome said. "Awesome do you mind if Koga comes along?" Duke asked. "No not at all," Kagome replied smiling at Koga. "Ok then we'll be back soon," Koga said. "Ok be careful," Roy replied. "We will and it was nice meeting you," Serenity said. "The same to you bye," Roy said."Bye you guys," Kagome said waving before following after Koga. "Bye Kagome, bye Serenity come back and hang out with us again sometime," Inuyasha called after them. "We will," the girls said together as the four of them left heading for the parking-lot while Inuyasha and Sesshomaru moved the sofa and coffee table back on the bus.

Upon reaching the parking-lot they walked towards Duke's little red jeep, "is this your jeep Duke?" Serenity asked. With a smirk Duke answered, "yes it is father gave it to me when I was old enough to drive." "It's beautiful I love the color," Serenity replied with a smile. "Thanks..." Duke said opening the door for Serenity, "my lady." Serenity giggled, "thank you.." she said as she, Kagome and Koga got inside. After closing the door he walked around the other side and climbed inside, "so girls where's home?" Duke asked looking over at Serenity who sat beside him. "Do you know where the park is?" Serenity asked. "Yes we do," Koga answered. "Well our house is right across from it and it's close to the beach too," Kagome added. "Well that makes it easy," Duke said as he cranked up his jeep and drove off. As they rode along they were silent especially Kagome she was deep in thought as she glanced at Koga who was sitting beside her, she thought to herself. Little did she know Serenity was thinking the same thing as well as how to thank them for bringing them home. It was then that Kagome began to hum a song to herself, it was one that would play in her head whenever she was deep in thought, she didn't know why but it always seem to calm her. Koga glanced over at Kagome when he heard her humming, "what's that you're humming Kagome?" he asked jolting her out of her thoughts. "Oh it's nothing really just a tune I occasionally hum whenever I'm thinking," she answered. "You hum when you think?" Koga asked curiously. It was Serenity who answered, "yeah she does it's something she kinda picked it up from me." "Huh...do you two know the words?" Duke asked. "Yes," Kagome answered. "Will you please sing the words?" Koga asked sweetly. "Ok," Serenity replied. It was then that the two began to sing:

When the girls finished singing the two guys were speechless, they had never heard someone sing so sweetly, "wow..." was the only word Koga could come up with. Kagome and Serenity blushed, "did we sound ok?" Serenity asked. "Just ok...that wasn't just ok it was beautiful," Duke said. "Where did you two learn to sing like that?" Koga asked. "No one taught us it just comes naturally to us just like it did to our moms," Kagome replied. "Well we've never heard such beautiful voices like that before did you two ever consider going into the singing career?" Duke asked. "No not really but our friends keep saying we should," Serenity answered. "Well I think they are right..." Duke replied. Then a thought struck Koga, "hey you know what why don't you two join our band?" "Us join your band? I don't know what would the others say?" Kagome asked. "Well I think they'd be all for it besides we've had their girls sing before and I think you two would be perfect additions to our band," Koga said. "Well..." Kagome thought it over for a moment then turned to Serenity, "what do you think Serenity want to join them?" Kagome asked. Serenity smiled, "we'd love to," she replied happily. "Great when me and Koga get back we'll discuss it with the band and Roy and we'll let you know something," Duke said. "Thank you so much.." Kagome said jotting down hers and Serenity's numbers making sure to put their names beside their numbers so the boys would know which number was whose and so the guys wouldn't get them confused, "here this is both of our numbers if you call either number one of us is going to answer," Kagome said handing Koga the piece of paper. "Thank you and we'll see if we can give you an answer at least by tomorrow," Koga said as Duke pulled into their driveway. "Here we are," Duke said. "We really appreciate you giving us a ride home," Serenity said. "Oh it's noth..." Duke's words were cut off when Serenity's lips gently pressed against his causing a blush to cover their faces. Kagome and Koga smiled at them, "looks like someone is smitten," Kagome whispered. Koga blushed, "they're not the only ones," he whispered back. Kagome then looked at Koga and noticed a blush on his face, "Koga..." she breathed as his lips gently pressed onto hers. Both Kagome's and Serenity's minds were whirling this was their first kiss and it was everything they had hoped it'd be. It was gentle yet loving, it told them everything that the guys couldn't put into words. When they let go of the kisses all four were blushing, "well we better get inside it's late," Kagome finally managed. "Yeah it is," Serenity added. "Ok we'll try and let you know something about what we said," Duke replied. "Ok goodnight guys," Kagome said smiling. "Goodnight," Koga said blowing her a kiss as the two walked towards the door of their house. The two guys waited till their girls were safely inside before driving away both with blissful smiles on their faces as they made their way back to where the band was staying to discuss what they had talked about with Kagome and Serenity. Once inside the house both girls were giddy and smiling, "oh my gosh he kissed you..." Serenity squealed. "Well did you see the look on Duke's face when you kissed him, I've never seen you blush so much in my life," Kagome replied. "I know but then again you can't talk you blushed too when you and Koga kissed," Serenity teased. Kagome just giggled as she and Serenity made their way upstairs blissfully still swimming in the moment that had happened before they had come into the house. When they settled into their rooms they were so overflowed with happiness that they fell asleep smiling.

When Koga and Duke returned to the parking-lot they made their way to where their bus was parked, "do you think they will like the idea of Kagome and Serenity joining the band?" Koga asked. "I don't know I guess we'll find out," Duke replied as they got onto the bus to see that the others had already showered and gotten ready for bed. "Hey there you two are we were wondering when you'd get back," Inuyasha said. "Yeah we thought we were going to have to start looking for you two," Roy teased. "Yeah well...hey there's an idea we'd like to run past you guys," Duke said. "What is it?" Yami asked. "Well it's about Kagome and Serenity...see when we were taking them home they got to humming a song and we asked them to sing the words," Koga explained. "And how'd they sound?" Sesshomaru asked curiously. "Their voices were beautiful..." Koga said. "Yeah we were blown away," Duke added. "Really that good?" Roy asked. "Yeah we couldn't believe it and when they said something about some of their friends saying that they should get into the music career we suggested maybe joining us," Koga said. "What did they say?" Inuyasha asked. "Well we told them we'd run the idea past you guys first then give them an answer tomorrow," Duke replied. "Well I don't see anything wrong with the idea I mean we often get our girls together to sing sometimes so I think they would make excellent additions to our band," Yami answered. "Yeah I agree," Inuyasha said as Sesshomaru nodded in agreement. The brothers then turned to Roy, "well what do you say Roy does that sound like a good idea?" Duke asked. Roy thought for a moment before answering, "sounds good to me too," he said with a smile. "Awesome and they can even sing with the other girls too if they want to it's their choice," Koga added happily. It was then that Duke yawned, "alright it's late I think it's time we turn in for the night and we'll give the girls a surprise visit and let them know our decision." "Ok goodnight guys," Roy said. "Night Roy," the band replied before laying down on their bunk beds that were made into the walls of the bus and going to sleep while Roy slept on the bed in the back of the bus. As Koga and Duke fell into a peaceful slumber they had smiles on their faces.

Before the sun rose the next morning both Koga and Duke were already awake and getting ready to go see their girls a little later that morning. As they dressed both men were envisioning the women from the night before, 'that Kagome is so beautiful and her eyes are so tranquil and loving..' Koga thought blissfully. 'Serenity her laugh is like a bird's song..' Duke's mind swam with the vision of her lovely face. By the time they were dressed they had smiles playing across their lips, Koga wore a pair of blue jeans with a white tank top and an unbuttoned light blue shirt, while his hair was worn in his trademark high ponytail. Duke's hair too was in a high ponytail, he wore black jeans and t-shirt with a red vest overtop of it. After they were dressed they went outside and leaned up against the side of the bus to watch the sunrise before breakfast, "it's so peaceful..." Koga commented. "Yes it is the only thing that would make this perfect was if our women were here with us," Duke added. Koga looked to his brother, "just what I was thinking," he replied turning his attention back to the rising sun.

At their house both girls were just starting to stir from their peaceful slumber, sitting up in her bed Kagome stretched her stiff muscles. She got up out of bed and walked over to the doors that led to her balcony which overlooked the ocean, a gentle breeze blew making her hair flutter around her face. She let out a content sigh as she blissfully gazed at the sunrise and wondered if Koga was doing the same. In her room Serenity was also looking at the sunrise with a smile on her face, "so beautiful..." she murmured, turning towards her closet and walking over to it and began looking through it to find something to wear. Kagome too was looking through her closet, finally settling on a pair of light blue jeans and a sky blue t-shirt with a picture of a mountain cabin and the word 'sanctuary' on it, she pulled her hair back and braided had also chosen a pair of blue jeans and a pink t-shirt with flowers on it but leaving her cinnamon colored hair down. Once both were dressed they went down to the kitchen to fix them something for breakfast. When they entered the kitchen Serenity spoke, "I wonder when the guys will calls us." "I don't know but I do wonder what the rest of the guys said about us joining them?" Kagome said. "I guess we'll find out soon," Serenity commented. "Yeah I guess so..." Kagome answered as they prepared themselves some breakfast. Sometime later the band pulled up in their bus and Duke's jeep at the girls' house, "I can't wait to see the look on their faces when we tell them," Duke said. "I know they are gonna flip," Yami added as Inuyasha, Sesshomaru and Koga nodded their heads in agreement, Seto just remained silent. They all got out and walked to the door and Koga knocked, "I hope they're home," Duke said. "Yeah they are both here their vehicles are here," Koga said motioning to the two cars parked in the driveway.

Inside Kagome was in the kitchen getting a glass of milk when she heard someone knock at the door, "wonder who that is..." she thought getting off the barstool and walking to the door to answer. When she opened the door she smiled when she saw who it was, "hey you guys come on in," she stepped aside to allow them to enter. "Thank you," Koga said walking inside as the others followed. Kagome then turned to face upstairs, "Serenity the band is here..." she called. "Alright I'll be right there," Serenity called back. Kagome then turned her attention to the six guys, "can I get you all anything, something to drink perhaps?" she asked. "Oh no thank you we're fine," Sesshomaru answered. "Ok well come sit down and make yourselves at home," Kagome replied walking into the living room. As soon as they entered the room Serenity came downstairs and when she saw Duke she smiled and sat across from him beside Kagome, "so what brings you all here?" Serenity asked curiously. "Well you two remember how we said we'd talk to the guys about you two joining our band," Duke said. "Yeah.." Kagome said. "We talked about it and we all decided that you two are officially part of our band," Inuyasha added. "Really?" Serenity asked. "Yep welcome to our family," Yami said with a smile. Kagome and Serenity were so happy, "thank you so much.." the girls said together with smiles on their faces. When do you perform again?" Serenity asked. "Well we perform again tonight and you two get to be on stage with us," Koga replied. "Do you think you two can be ready to go in a couple hours?" Sesshomaru asked. "Defiantly..." Kagome said confidently as Serenity nodded in agreement. "Ok we can wait while you two get ready," Koga said. "Ok we'll be right back," Serenity said as she and Kagome ran upstairs to get dressed and ready to leave with the band. Now upstairs Kagome looked through her closet and decided on a pair of denim Capri's and a sky-blue t-shirt with a wolf on it, leaving her hair in a high ponytail she put a little perfume on her neck to smell good then went downstairs. Serenity also wore a pair of Capri's but hers were black and she wore a red tank top with cherry blossoms on it, now that she was dressed, she put on a little perfume then went downstairs where the band was waiting for her and Kagome. When they reached the living room where the band was waiting for them Koga spoke, "you girls ready to go?" he asked with a smile. "Yeah I'm ready," Kagome answered with a nod. "Me too," Serenity added with a smile. "Good let's go Roy is waiting for us outside on the bus," Duke said walking out of the door with the rest of the band following behind him. "You all came over here on the bus?" Kagome asked. "No me and Duke rode in his jeep," Koga replied. "Oh..." was her only reply as she walked beside Koga.

Once outside they all began to get onto bus except Duke, "hey bro aren't you getting on the bus with us?" Koga asked as Kagome and Serenity turned to look at him. "No I'm gonna drive my jeep I'll just follow like always," Duke answered. "There is no need to do that Duke you can leave your jeep here, we don't mind.." Kagome said as Serenity nodded. "Are you sure?" Duke asked hesitantly. "Of course it's alright Duke," Serenity said. "Well alright," Duke said smiling as he locked his jeep and placed his keys in his pocket before climbing onto the bus with the rest of the band. Once on the bus both girls greeted Roy warmly, "hello again Roy," Kagome said smiling. "Hello ladies it's nice to see you two again," Roy replied just as warmly. "It's nice to see you too and we're so excited about being part of the band," Serenity added. "We're all pleased to have you as well," Roy said as the girls walked passed him. Both girls were in awe of the luxury of it, "wow this is nicest bus I've ever seen," Kagome said. "Yeah it even rivals the charter buses," Serenity said as she took a seat on the right side near a window with Duke sitting beside her. Kagome on the other hand sat on the left on one of the two seats that faced each other with a table in the between them while Koga took the seat across from her. Both Yami and Sesshomaru sat on one of the sofa looking seats as Inuyasha sat on the other and Seto sat behind Koga and Kagome. The rest of the bus held other luxuries of home, there were six bunk beds where the band members slept, six other small bedrooms where their wives and girlfriends would sleep when they traveled with the band, a large bed room where the girls assumed Roy would sleep when he wouldn't drive the bus. Not to mention a kitchen, bathroom and a mini living room where they all currently sat where there was a tv and radio. They were now headed towards their concert location and while they did have one of band's CDs playing there wasn't too much chatter going on between anyone, other than either of the girls asking about the songs that were going to be performed tonight, "so what songs are we doing tonight?" Serenity asked Duke. "Well we have the song list half way figured out but we aren't sure about the rest," Duke admitted. "Well do you think we could help you all figure it out?" Kagome asked. "It couldn't hurt," Seto chimed in making everyone look in his direction briefly before turning their attention back to tuning their instruments, all except Inuyasha of course. "What did you girls have in mind?" Roy asked. "This is just a thought but um...what if just me and Kagome do a couple of songs would that be ok?" Serenity asked hesitantly. The guys looked at them before speaking, "would you two want to?" Sesshomaru asked. "Yeah I know I do, what about you Kagome?" Serenity asked. She thought it over for a moment before answering, "yes I would like to we just have to figure out what song or songs we'd do," Kagome said. "How bout it Roy?" Koga said. "Sounds good to me and I have a suggestion for at least one song," Roy replied. "What is it?" Kagome asked. "Well both Koga and Duke told us how well you two sang the song 'I'm Gonna Love You' so how about you two sing it for our audience and let the rest of us hear it too," Roy said smiling. Both girls looked at each other and smiled, "alright we can do that but would you want us to do just one song or a couple?" Kagome asked. "Well we don't want to start you two off with too much I mean we do have songs you'll join us in but as far as another song for just you girls I don't know off the top of my head," Inuyasha said. "Well even if we just do one song this time that is ok too we don't mind," Kagome said as Serenity nodded in agreement. "Alright but if you two do have another you want to do just let us know and we'll figure it out when we get there," Duke said. "Thanks guys," Serenity said as she and Kagome smiled. The rest of the ride was pretty silent aside from the guys tuning their instruments but the girls were just enjoying the ride and the fact that they not only had a place in the band with these six great guys but especially the two that had their affections and had affections for them. When they arrived at their concert location the girls were beyond nervous but they were also excited about doing their first concert with the band. Once the bus had come to a stop everyone helped get what was needed off the bus and out of compartment below, like Inuyasha's drums. Once they had the instruments and the sound system they made their way to the stadium to set up before the people began to arrive for the concert. When they finally reached the stage they began to set up and as Roy readied the sound while the girls helped Inuyasha set up his drums, which he was grateful for. They had everything quickly set up and even had a bit of relax time before the people arrived to the concert, "wow I can't believe it our first concert...I'm nervous," Serenity said. "Me too but I'm also excited," Kagome added with a smile. The boys were happy about their decision to bring the two girls into their group which to them only made perfect sense seeing as how all of their wives or girlfriends performed with them from time to time anyway. As they sat there for several minutes they talked out their song list which the girls helped with and they had come up with three songs that they would do and others that they would sing along with the guys, plus two that Koga, Kagome, Serenity and Duke would sing together while the others would play the music. Their relaxation ended when people started arriving to the concert hall and taking their seats till the concert began, "alright this is it give them a good show and make me proud," Roy said giving them an encouraging smile before standing off to the side while the band made a couple last minute adjustments before the people turned into a large crowd. Once the crowd had entered Koga looked at Duke and with a nod they began playing one of their new songs which made all the people cheer.

When the song ended the crowd erupted as Koga came over the microphone, "how y'all doin' tonight?" The crowd cheered but Koga looked at Duke, "I think they're all asleep out there bro..." Duke turned to the crowd and spoke, "he said how y'all doin' tonight?" This time the crowd erupted louder than before, "all righty then well we are Princes Six and we are so happy to be performing here tonight. The song we just did was one of our new songs as is the next song we're going to do it's called Animal Song," Koga said as they began playing.

The stands erupted after the song ended and the band knew that was one of the crowd's favorite songs that they played. Duke came over the mic this time, "the next song we're going to do is another of our new songs it's called Let There Be Cowgirls.

We came up with this song after we had all gone to country western dance one night and these guys had their girls on the dance floor while me and Koga sat on the sidelines watching them and as we did the idea for this song came to us. We got to thinking since country men are a strong people why not have a strong country woman beside you...am I right?" At this the crowd cheered and whistled as Duke continued, "so we discussed the idea with the band and then we wrote this song..." Duke added. "Hit it!" Koga said.

The crowd erupted once more when this song ended cheering, whistling and appluading the band, "well I'd say they liked that one," Inuyasha commented. "I'd say they did too," Yami added. Koga then looked to Kagome and Serenity before turning to crowd and speaking, "now we have a very special treat for y'all...this is Kagome and Serenity they're two new members in our band and they are going to do a couple songs for y'all...would you like that?" At hearing this crowd cheered and whistled which the girls smile, "when you're ready ladies..." Koga said. Kagome and Serenity stepped up beside their men and as Kagome began to speak, "this is a song that our mothers taught us when we were young and it's been one of our favorites ever since." As Kagome finished speaking the music began to play and they began to sing.

When their song ended the crowd roared and whistled and the band couldn't believe the reaction, "wow..." was all Koga and Duke could say as the others thought it. After several moments the band regained their composer and Koga spoke, "wow they were something won't they...give these ladies another round of applause, they did a great job." The crowd again applauded the girls and they just smiled and waved to the crowd. Koga then spoke again, "now our next song these two lovely ladies will be joining us in singing this one," with that music began.

After the song ended the crowd erupted into the loudest applause that the band had ever heard which made them all feel good. It was when the crowd got quiet did Koga come over the microphone, "well our last song is one that we know is one y'all's favorites but first did everybody did have a good time?" he asked. The crowd applauded and cheered but Duke looked at his brother, "I think they didn't.." he joked. Koga then turned to the crowd and spoke a little louder, "I said did everybody have a good time!" he said. The crowd erupted into the loudest cheers and whistles that the band had heard the whole time they were there, "alright..." Yami said. "Come on boys lets give this crowd one hell of a finale," Inuyasha said. "Yeah!" the band said together as they began playing their song.

When the song ended the cheers and applause rose again, "we really enjoyed playing for y'all...see you at our next show safe travels home," Koga said as he and others waved goodbye before going off stage as the crowd left to go home. Now backstage the band was resting Roy left to go get the band some dinner, "wow that was amazing," Serenity said. "Yeah that was so much fun," Kagome added. Koga smiled, "I'm pleased with the way you two performed tonight." "Me too.." Duke added as Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, Yami and Seto nodded in agreement. It was then that Roy returned with their food and drinks, "and I'm proud of all of you...you all did a really good job out there," he said slightly startling them. "Thanks Roy," Inuyasha said. Roy sat amongst the band as he always did after a concert as they began eating, "you girls did excellent out there Koga and Duke weren't kidding you two have beautiful voices." "Thank you," Serenity replied as she bit into her cheeseburger. "Yeah they do," Inuyasha added as Sesshomaru and Yami nodded in agreement. Kagome took a sip of her drink before speaking, "thanks guys but I have to admit I was a bit nervous up there standing in front of all those people...it was a first for me." "Me too I was actually shaking a bit, that's how bad my stage fright is sometimes," Serenity admited. Duke looked at her, "even so you two performed like professionals out there but then again I'd expect nothing less from my girl," he said making Serenity blush. Koga looked at his brother then turned to Kagome, "yeah and I'd expect nothing less from my woman either..." he said placing a gentle hand on hers and smiling at her. The girls were slightly red at hearing Koga and Duke calling them theirs but it also made them smile. The rest of their dinner was eaten in a comfortable silence each enjoying this time with their 'family' and after they had finished eating they packed up all the instruments then piled onto the bus. Once on the bus Roy spoke, "you want us to take you girls home before we go to find a place to stay for the night?" he asked. The girls looked at each other then turned to Roy, "y'all don't need to find a place to stay for the night you all can stay with us besides we have plenty of room," Kagome said. Koga looked at them, "that's very kind of you but we wouldn't want to impose on you two like that." "It's no imposition at all we'd love to have you stay with us," Serenity added. "Are you sure?" Duke asked. "Of course you all may think of our house as your second home," Kagome said. Serenity then spoke, "your wives are welcome to think of our house as their second home as well," she said looking at the guys. "That's very kind of you," Sesshomaru said. "Well we're all in a band together afterall so it makes sense," Serenity said. "She's got a point there," Seto chimed in making everyone glance at him for an instant. Koga and Duke smiled then turned the guys, "what do you think fellas?" Duke asked. "That's fine with me," Yami said. "Me too..." Inuyasha added with Sesshomaru and Seto nodding in agreement. The brothers then turned to Roy, "what about you Roy?" Koga asked. Roy smiled, "sure sounds good to me too.." he replied as he cranked up the bus and began driving to the girls' house.

The ride to girls' house was very quiet as the band had settled into their beds that were made into the wall of the bus, all except for Koga and Duke, they were watching tv with Kagome and Serenity. Roy was enjoying this peace and quiet as he drove, although he loved when the band played some of their songs on the road. Even though he was focused on his driving his mind also roamed back to the thought of his wife Riza and deeply wished that she had been able to accompany him and the band on this trip but something had come up at the last minute and she was unable to go with him but promise to do so the next time. While Koga and Duke watched tv with Kagome and Serenity they smiled to themselves because they were very content at that very moment. Kagome looked at Koga as he watched tv and she couldn't help but smile, "I'm so lucky to have a man like Koga in my life he's so sweet and he already means a lot to me.." she said to herself as she rested her head on his shoulder. Serenity was thinking the same thing that Kagome was, Duke already meant a lot to her even though it had only been a short time. It wasn't long before the bus pulled in front of the girls' house, "looks like we're home.." Serenity said as Kagome nodded. Roy then turned to the girls, "are you sure you don't mind putting us up I mean we wouldn't want to impose." Kagome was the one to answer, "like we said before we want y'all to think of this place as your second home." Roy nodded as he stood up, "I'll stay with the bus so no one will try and steal it." "Ok Roy..." then Serenity turned to Duke, "are you two coming inside?" she asked. The pair glanced at each other before answering, "yeah.." he answered. "Ok come on," Kagome said leading the brothers off the bus and into the house. When Koga stepped off the bus he turned to Roy, "what about the others?" Roy chuckled, "they're sleeping so sound not even a storm would wake them up." The girls giggled as they said goodnight before walking into the house with Koga and Duke following right behind them. Once inside the girls led Koga and Duke to one of the spare rooms and letting them in, "here's where you two can sleep I hope you'll be comfortable," Kagome said. "Thank you," Duke said. "I'm sure we will.." Koga added. "Alright well goodnight you two and sleep well," Kagome said. "You too," Koga said caressing her cheek before kissing her on the lips as she returned it. Duke and Serenity too shared a tender goodnight kiss before the girls left to go to their rooms for the night leaving the men to rest in their room. Once reaching her room Kagome smiled to herself as she went to her dresser and selected a pair of sleep pants and a tank top before putting them on. She braided her hair and then laid down in her bed, pulling the cover over her body and falling asleep. In her room Serenity too had put on a pair of sleep pants and t-shirt before braiding her hair too and laying in her bed beneath the warm covers and falling asleep with a smile on her face.

Early the next morning Koga awakens from a peaceful slumber feeling well rested, more so than he had in a long time, even though he does sleep well on the bus but it's nice to be able to sleep in a bed once in a while too. Duke still slept in the bed across from the one Koga was currently in. Koga looked at his brother as he continued to snore away in his sleep, which only made Koga shake his head at him. He then slipped out of bed and went to get a warm shower before Duke woke up. He quietly crept passed his sleeping brother and walked into the bathroom that was across from Duke's bed. He shut the door behind him and stripped out of his clothes and turned on the water, making sure it was nice and warm before getting under it. The warm water felt good as it ran down Koga's back and legs and a content sigh passed through his lips. He grabbed a nearby washrag and lathered it up with some bodywash that sat on one of the shelves hanging on the wall. He rubbed the rag all over his body making himself feel clean and once he had washed his body he washed his hair then got out of the shower. Then grabbing a towel and drying himself off he put his sleep clothes back on for the time being and went back into the bedroom. Upon reentering he found Duke just starting to wake up, "good morning brother.." he greeted. Duke looked at him and with a yawn spoke, "good *yawn* morning.." he said sitting up. Koga sat on the bed and began getting the tangles out with his fingers, "did you sleep well?" he asked. "Yes better than I have in a long time, how about you?" Duke replied. Koga nodded, "yeah I did too the bed is so comfortable." "You ain't kidding..." Duke said getting up and going to get a shower just as Koga had done. While Duke bathed Koga went to his bag he had with him and selected some clean clothes to put on, "now lets see where did I? Oh here it is.." he said to himself as he put on a pair of baggy blue jeans, white t-shirt and his grey hoodie. After he was dressed he bushed the tangles out of his hair then took his waist-length tresses and braided it before taking his hairband and wrapping it around the end so the braid wouldn't come undone. Before walking out of the room he takes a moment to jot down a thought in his journal before placing it back in the side pocket of his bag then made his way downstairs. In their room Kagome was just starting to wake up, she sat up, stretched out her stiff muscles then got out of bed and went to get a shower. Once in the bathroom she stripped out of her clothes and turned on the shower before stepping under it. She pulled the shower curtain closed then grabbed her wash rag and body wash. She lathered up her rag before rubbing it all over her body, "hmm this feels so good..." she said to herself with a smile. Once she had washed her body she washed her hair then got out and dried off with a towel before wrapping it around her small frame and walking back into the bedroom. She head straight to the closet to find some clean clothes, "now lets see what do I..oh here it is." She quickly selected a pair of blue jeans and baby blue tank top before rebraiding her hair and heading downstairs to start breakfast before everyone woke up. On her way downstairs she met up with Koga, "oh good morning beautiful.." he greeted warmly. With a small blush on her cheeks, "good morning handsome..did you sleep well?" Koga smiled, "yes I did it was the best sleep I've had in a long time." "I'm glad so are you ready for some breakfast?" she asked. With a nod the two made their way down to the kitchen to figure out what to fix to eat. Kagome then turned to look at Koga, "what do you guys normally eat for breakfast?" she asked. "Well usually we stop at some little resturant and get a biscuit," he answered. She tilted her head slightly, "so you mean to tell me that you guys haven't had a really filling breakfast since you guys have been touring?" she said. Koga merely nodded, "yeah we don't really get much free time to do much of anything when we tour."

To Kagome it seemed that there was more to what Koga was saying than he was letting on but she decided that right now wasn't the time to talk about it but made a note to bring it up later, "well we'll just have to do something about that won't we?" He looked at her curiously, "what do you mean?" he asked. She smiled, "you'll see..." she said with a wink, "go ahead and rouse the guys while I get y'all's breakfast fixed." Koga nodded and made his way out to the bus to wake the rest of the band and Roy. Once outside he got onto the bus to already find Roy awake, "good morning Roy." "Morning Koga, ready to go get some breakfast?" he asked. "That's why I'm out here Kagome is preparing us all breakfast and told me to wake you and the band up to come inside and eat," Koga explained. Roy smiled, "that's very kind of her alright I'll go ahead and wake them up." "Ok I'll go tell her," he said walking off the bus and heading back inside while Roy woke the guys. "Alright y'all time to get up," he called. "Oh come on Roy how about a few more minutes huh..." Inuyasha mumbled. "No come on everybody up Kagome is fixing breakfast for us now get up," Roy replied. "Ok ok we're up geeze Roy..." Inuyasha said getting up out of his bunk as the others did the same. "Man little brother grouchy much in the mornings.." Sesshomaru said getting up. "Oh bite me..." Inuyasha said. Now that they were all awake they made their way inside to sit in the living room while they waited for breakfast to be ready. Inside Koga was helping Kagome and Serenity in the kitchen while they cooked the food he and Duke were setting the table and pouring orange juice into their glasses. The four of them had everything ready in no time, "there we go breakfast is ready," Kagome said. Koga then turned towards the living room, "come and get it fellas.." he called. With that the band then walked into the kitchen to find a lovely breakfast waiting for them that left them a bit speechless, "what's all this?" Roy asked. "It's the breakfast we made for all of us," Serenity answered. "You have really out done yourselves," Yami complimented as the others nodded in agreement. "Come on lets eat," Kagome said as she and Serenity sat at the table as the band and Roy followed suit. They had prepared eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and to drink orange juice. Kagome and Serenity didn't usually fix so much, normally it was just the two of them but this time they had a band to feed. As they ate Yami spoke, "mmmh this is absolutely delicious." "Yes it is..." Sesshomaru added. "It's the best I've ever eaten," Inuyasha said. "You said it Inu.." Koga said as Duke nodded. "We have never had a meal this good in a long time," Roy said. Kagome smiled "I'm glad you all are enjoying it." Koga then stood up, "a toast to these two lovely ladies for their kindness." "And for preparing this for us.." Duke added standing up. "Here here..." the band said. Both girls smiled as they clinked their glasses together, "thank y'all," Serenity said. After several moments Kagome spoke, "so what is the plan for today?" There was silence for a moment before Roy spoke, "well right now I don't think we have any other concerts lined up yet so for now we have some free time." Hearing this the band seemed to simultainiously sigh in relief because it had been a long time since they'd had a break so they were pleased at this news. "Finally some free time..." Duke said. "It's about time..." Inuyasha added. "Yes it is we could defiantly use a well earned rest," Yami said as Sesshomaru nodded. "So with the free time you have now what do you want to do?" Serenity asked. Koga was the one to answer, "well I don't know about me and Duke but I know these guys are gonna go home and see their families and I know Roy wants to see Riza and spend time with her." "Well that sounds nice I'm sure your families will be happy to see you," Serenity said. "Yes I know they will we've been touring for about three months now so we really want to go home and see our wives and girlfriends," Yami said. Kagome then got a thought, "I've got a thought.." she said gaining their attention. "What do you have in mind my love," Koga asked. "Well I was thinking that the guys bring their families here and we all go on a vacation together," she answered. "You know that wouldn't be a bad idea," Sesshomaru said. "You really think so?" Serenity said. "Yeah we haven't taken off and done anything together like that in a long time," Inuyasha said. "It sounds good to me," Duke said. "Me too.." Yami added. Then all eyes went to Roy, "what do you say Roy?" Koga asked. He thought for a moment then with a smile answered, "you're right we haven't been able to do something like that for a long time so lets do it." After settling on that thought they finished their breakfast in comfortable silence and then helped the girls clean up the kitchen before going into the living room to discuss where they would go on a vacation. They all sat on the sofas and arm chairs that were in the room with Koga and Duke sitting with Kagome and Serenity of course, the band on the other sofa, Roy sitting in one arm chair and Kiba sat in the other one. There was silence in the room for a moment or two before Inuyasha spoke, "so now that we get a vacation where do we want to go?" Once again silence hung in the room as they all thought of where they could go on vacation. Then a thought hit Kagome, "how about we go to the mountains...there is a place we use to go to when we were young.." she then turned to Serenity, "remember Serenity?" Serenity nodded, "yes I remember it's so peaceful up there and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. We always stayed in ranch-style cabin and if my memory serves me correctly there is a large lake some distance from the cabin too," she explained. "Oh yeah I know that place we use to go there too," Koga said as Duke nodded in agreement. "Yeah we always brought our horses with us and rode the trails up there that led to the lake," Duke added. This got the girls' attention, "you two have horses?" Kagome asked. "Yes we do Koga's stallion is a brown paint with a black mane and tail and bright blue eyes, his name is Tornado. My stallion is a black paint and he has bright green eyes, he's called Dare Devil.." Duke explained. It was then that Serenity spoke, "they sound like beautiful horses...I'd love to see them." "Me too," Kagome added. The brothers looked at each other before looking back at their girls, "you want to see them we can go get them and bring them with us," Koga said. "Really?" Serenity asked. "Sure I know they'd love to be out on those trails again," Duke answered. It was then that Roy spoke, "we all have horses too," the girls looked at Roy as he continued, "Inuyasha has a stallion called Entei...he has a white coat but has a golden sorral mane and tail. Kikyo's horse is a beautiful mare called Priestess's Moonshadow, she has a white coat with a black mane and tail." "They sound like fine horses," Kagome commented. Roy continued, "Sesshomaru has a solid white stallion called Inu Youkai and his wife Rin has a chestnut mare named Free Spirit." Kagome looked at the brothers that sat across from her, Serenity, Koga and Duke, "I remember hearing those names somewhere before didn't y'all use to compete in rodeos?" she was Inuyasha who answered, "yeah we did that was the last time we all had a vacation and we went to a rodeo competition Kikyo and Rin compete more than me and Sesshomaru do though." "Oh now I know who they are Kikyo Shikon and Rin West," Serenity said. The brothers smiled as Yami spoke, "yeah they competed all over the place just like Seto's wife Kisara, she has a gorgeous mare called Spirit Protector but she calls her Blue Eyes all the time because that's what color her mare's eyes are and her coat is a silver color." "Wow..." was the only reply the girls could give as Yami continued, "yeah...Seto's horse is named Obilisk he's a big blue roan stallion." "What about you Yami do you have a horse?" Kagome asked. "Yeah I have a stallion called Dark Magician he's a handsome bay roan and my wife Tea has a chestnut mare she calls Graceful Determination, she use to be a race horse but Tea always calls her Gracey." "They all sound like beautiful horses..." Serenity commented before turning to Roy, "do you and your wife Riza have horses?" she asked. "Yes I have a bay stallion called Colonel and Riza has a palomino stallion called Lieutenant Hawkeye," he answered. After that Koga spoke, "we take our horses up there from time to time and we all ride the trails together." "Yeah there's safety in numbers," Duke added. "Are you all gonna bring your horses this time?" Serenity asked. It was Roy who answered this time, "yeah we are Koga just has to ride back to his ranch and get his truck to pull the big trailer that can hold all of our horses in it." "When are you going to get it?" Kagome asked. "As soon as we all get dressed we're gonna leave and get our horses while these guys get their wives and girlfriend and I'll be gathering the horses," Koga replied. Kagome looked at him, "do you need a hand?" He smiled, "I'd appreciate it." Serenity then spoke, "while Kagome helps Koga I can help the others and their wives." "Sounds like a plan..." Inuyasha said. "Duke are you going help Koga and Kagome?" Yami asked. "Yeah..." then he turned to Serenity, "will you be ok helping them?" he asked. Serenity smiled, "yeah I'll be ok..." then kissed him on the lips. It was then that Roy spoke, "ok guys lets get dressed and get ready to go." "Right.." the others replied. With that the band and Serenity changed their clothes and got ready to leave.

In their room Duke was changing into a pair of black jeans, a black western shirt with red all across the shoulders, on sleeve cuffs and down the front where the buttons were. He took his hair out of it's binding and brushed it out to get rid of all the tangles before braiding it just as Koga had done. He sat on the bed and put on his black western boots then grabbed his cowboy hat and walked downstairs to wait for the others. Koga and Kagome were already waiting downstairs for Duke when he came into the room and sat beside Serenity on the sofa across from them. Koga had replaced his baggy blue jeans, white t-shirt and gray hoodie for his western clothes, he now wore dark blue jeans, a sky-blue western shirt, black boots and cowboy hat. Kagome also traded her baby blue tank top for a sky-blue dress western shirt with roses around the collar and on the sleeve cuffs, on her shirt was short white fringe across the front and on the sleeves. She wore a pair of white jeans and with her white western boots and western hat. Serenity also wore her western clothes, that being a pink and black plaid shirt with a pair of light blue jeans, her white boots and western hat. On the bus the band was getting dressed as well, Inuyasha was dressed in a red western shirt with white jeans, on his feet he wore his black cowboy boots and to top it off he wore a white cowboy hat. His brother Sesshomaru was wearing a white, golden yellow and prussian blue plaid shirt with red honeycomb patterns across his shoulders and on the sleeve cuffs, he wore black boots on his feet and black cowboy hat on his head. Yami was dressed in a dark blue western shirt with golden yellow, silver and black zigzags across the chest and across the back. He wore blue jeans with his black boots and cowboy hat. Roy wore his favorite western clothes that he'd wear when he and Riza would go to dances from time to time but it had been a long time since they'd been to a dance together. His western shirt was navy blue with light blue across the shoulders, on the sleeve cuffs and down the front where the buttons were. He wore his favorite pair of light blue jeans with his black boots and western hat. Kiba was also dressed in western, he wore a gray and silver plaid shirt, dark gray jeans, black boots and western hat. With them all dressed they walked into the house where the others were waiting for them. When they entered they saw that the others were waiting for them, "y'all ready to go?" Roy asked. "Yeah we're ready," Koga replied. "Ok lets go," Roy said. Koga, Kagome, Serenity and Duke got off the sofa, grabbed their bags they had packed and followed the band outside onto the porch. Kagome then locked the door and got onto the bus with the others.

Once they were all on the bus Roy spoke, "first I'll drop off Koga at his ranch so he can get his truck and trailer then we'll meet at the rest stop half way between his ranch and the mountains where we're headed." "Ok that sounds like a good idea," Koga commented as Duke and Kagome nodded in agreement. With that Roy started the bus and headed for Koga's ranch. As they went down the road Kagome looked at Koga, "what's your ranch like?" she asked curiously. He turned to her, "it's a big ranch and there are horses in both pastures..." he then got a distant look in his eye for a moment as he continued, "it use to belong to my parents." Kagome's face softened, "it must mean so much to you." Koga nodded, "it does and it also means a lot to me that I have my mother's and my father's horses too." This caught Serenity attention as well as Kagome, "I bet they are beautiful." "They are and my mother's horse had a baby about six months ago," Koga replied. "Aww..." Serenity cooed, "I bet that little baby is absolutely adorable." Koga smiled, "she is a beautiful baby just like her mother." The girls smiled, "I can't wait to see them," Kagome said. It was then that Roy spoke, "well you'll get to see them in about an hour or two we're almost there." Kagome sat back against the set that she was sitting on with Koga beside her and Serenity on the other sofa with Duke. After a few moments of silence Inuyasha spoke, "you know Koga actually use to train horses when he was about eighteen or nineteen." Serenity cocked her head to the side, "how do you know that Inuyasha?" she asked. Inuyasha got a soft smile on his face, "because he trained my horse Entei." Kagome looked at him curiously as he continued, "Koga did a really good job with Entei but Koga had worked with him a long time though but now Entei is as good as he ever was." Sesshomaru overheard the conversation but remained silent as he continued to listen, "where did you get him?" Serenity asked. "He was a horse that mother got for father and when she died he gave him to me because he felt that mother would want me to have him," Inuyasha was then that the girls noticed a distant look in his eyes, "Inuyasha?" Kagome asked, "is there more to it?" He was silence for a few moments before a voice cut it, "when we were young someone stole Entei from us and it completely devastated my little brother and for a long time he became distant and cold. He was not the brother that I knew but that all changed when he met Kikyo, she somehow broke through the barriers he had put up when neither me nor father could." The girls glanced at Inuyasha as Sesshomaru continued, "after meeting her he started to become the person we use to know we were relieved." It was then that Inuyasha spoke, "she's the best thing that has ever happened to me and I love her with every beat of my heart." Serenity smiled, "she sounds like a really nice woman." Inuyasha smiled as he thought of her, "she is nice and when we met I found out that we had a lot in common I found out that she and I had similar wounds. She had lost her mother when she was young and her sister was only a baby at the time." Koga then spoke, "before he met us he was in a rodeo...he was a bullrider." "Really?" Kagome asked. Inuyasha nodded his head, "yeah I was and I wasn't the only one either Sesshomaru use to be a bullrider and Kikyo was a barrel racer she had the world champion title." "Wow..." the girls said. "And we were international champions in bullriding," Sesshomaru added. Silence fell on the bus for several moments but just as Koga was ready to speak Roy did, "we're almost there I'm gonna pull off and refuel the bus does anybody want anything while we're here?" he asked. The group gave a unanimous, "no." Roy nodded his head, "ok..." he said pulling into the gas station parking-lot to refuel the bus. The group remained quiet for a few moments before Koga spoke, "when he was in the rodeo he'd seen the one who stole Entei and after the incident I was able to bring Entei to my ranch to heal. In the rodeo Entei suffered an injury to his hind leg and after some time it healed. One day when I had a cookout with my brothers we invited our friends, which included Inuyasha, Kikyo, Sesshomaru and Rin over to the cookout, I showed them the horses but when we got to Entei's corral Inuyasha told me that Entei was his horse." By the time Koga had finished speaking Roy had gotten back on the bus and was off again heading towards Koga's ranch. The rest of the ride was spent in silence as they made their way to the ranch, when they pulled into the drive-way Koga looked out the window, "home sweet home.." he said as a content sigh passed through his lips. Kagome glanced at Koga before turning her eyes to look at the horses grazing in the pasture, "Koga are those the horses you were talking about?" He nodded, "that's just some of them there are eight horses here and the ranch across the road belongs to Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, their horses are over there," he said as the bus came to a stop. Roy turned to look over his shouler, "here we are Wolf Ranch." Roy opened the door to let drop Koga, Kagome, Serenity and Duke off, "alright after y'all get your horses loaded we'll meet over at Sesshomaru's house and leave from there," Roy said. "Ok sounds good to me," Koga said. Then Duke spoke, "wait a minute Roy what about your horse and Riza?" Roy then looked at Sesshomaru, "would you take me to my house to pickup Riza and our horses?" he asked. Sesshomaru smiled and nodded, "sure no problem," he replied as Roy nodded. Koga nodded, "ok I'll get my truck and load up our horses then be over there." "Alright see you in a few," Roy said as he closed the bus door and left going across the road to Sesshomaru's ranch.

After the bus left Koga turned to look at Kagome but before he could speak he caught the sound of someone he knew well. When he turned towards the house he saw his beloved companion running to him, "Steel Fang!" he cried happily. Koga knelt down as the wolf ran into his arms, "I've missed you too boy...you been taking care of the ranch while I've been gone," he said scratching the wolf's neck and sides. Serenity, Duke and Kagome smiled, "he seems happy to see you." At hearing her voice Steel Fang jumped up to her and nuzzled her affectionately, "hey there boy I've missed you too," she said giving the wolf a kiss on the nose and scratching him behind the ear. Koga smiled, "it seems he remembers you too." She smiled at Koga then looked back down at Steel Fang, "I can't believe he remembers me.." she commented. It was then that Duke spoke, "yeah it's been what six months?" he asked. "Yeah it has been that long we met when Koga was a bullrider and I was a barrel racer," she replied. Koga then spoke, "come on I know you want to see my horses." Kagome smiled and let Koga lead her and Serenity over to one of the pastures to see one of Koga's herds, "come on Fang.." he called to his wolf as he quickly followed behind them. When they reached the pasture Koga turned to his wolf, "bring them to the fence," as soon as he spoke Fang was off to wrangle the horses and bring them closer. Once Fang had brought the horses closer to the fence he slipped out of the pasture and sat at Koga's feet, "he hasn't changed.." Kagome replied. Koga chuckled as he spoke, "this is just one herd the other one is by the barn." "They're beautiful.." Kagome said as Serenity nodded in agreement. "These two light ginger paints are Wind Dreamer and Dreamcatcher," Koga said. "Which one is which?" Serenity asked. Duke was the one to answer, "the one with the dreamcatcher mark on the shoulder is Dreamcatcher." Kagome nodded as Koga spoke again, "this big brown appaloosa is called Bear Runner see he has a bear paw marking on his haunches." "Yes I do see it he is a handsome stallion is he your father's horse?" she asked. Koga nodded, "yes he is and he's just as hot tempered as father was too," he chuckled. It was then that Kagome noticed the palomino paint mare, "oh she's beautiful." "She's gorgeous," Serenity commented. Koga turned to look at the mare, "she is her name is Heaven Dreamer...she belonged to my mother." Kagome looked at Koga and noticed a distant look in his eyes and placed her hand on his, giving it comforting squeeze which made him smile. It was then that the little filly stepped out from behind her mother, "that sweet little baby is the newest member if you don't count the mustangs...I called her Little Beauty," Koga said. "She's so precious..." Kagome and Serenity cooed. Kagome crouched down to the filly's level, "Little Beauty.." she said. What surprised the men was that Little Beauty walked right up to her and nuzzled her hand, "it seems like she's chosen her new best friend," Serenity said. Kagome smiled and she rubbed the filly, "you are such a pretty baby...yes you are." When she stood up she turned to Koga, "I love your horses Koga." "Me too," Serenity added. He smiled, "well there are five more by the barn want to see them." "I'd love to.." she said taking hold of his hand. "Ok lets go.." he said as he, Kagome, Serenity and Duke walked towards the barn with Steel Fang following right behind them.

They soon reached the barn and walked over to the corral where the mustangs were, "Tornado!" Koga called. As soon as his name was spoken the stallion came cantering across the pasture towards his rider, "hey there big guy.." Koga said hopping over the fence and onto the stallion's back when he was close enough. Kagome and Serenity watched as Koga skillfully rode his stallion bareback, "wow you can ride a horse bareback better than I can ride my horse with a saddle," Kagome said as Serenity nodded in agreement. Duke chuckled, "yeah he can but then again he is a Lakota native afterall." Kagome looked at Duke then back at Koga, "yeah I know..." she smiled as Koga. Duke could see the look in her eyes and knew what it meant but remained silent as Koga spoke, "yeah my father taught me." She then noticed the other three horses, "who are the others?" Koga turned Tornado towards the three mustangs that were in there with him, "the red dun mare with the silver mane and tail is my brother Ginta's horse, her name is Vixen...the light palomino, he's called Cloud." Before Koga could speak Duke did, "and the black paint is mine he's called Dare Devil." "They're all beautiful.." Kagome said. Koga hopped off Tornado and back over the fence, "come on there is one more horse I want you to see." "Ok lets go..." Kagome said. "Alright but first you have to close your eyes.." Kagome cocked her head slightly, "it's a surprise.." she then nodded and closed her eyes. Koga took hold of her hand and Duke placed his hands on her shoulders to help guide her. They led her to the barn then stopped, "wait here..." he said. While Duke stayed with her Koga went to retrieve the horse, "come on girl..." he said hooking a lead rope to the halter she was wearing and led her out of the stall and bringing her to Kagome. Once he had brought the horse to a stop, "ok open your eyes.." he said. When Kagome opened her eyes she was met with a surprise and a gasp escaped her lips, "Koga how'd you.." she was speechless. Koga smiled, "I made the call on the bus.." his words were cut off by Kagome as she walked up to Koga and kissed him tenderly on the lips. They held the kiss for a moment before letting go, "thank you so much..." she then turned to her mare, "Halo-girl I've missed you so much..." she said as tears welled up in her eyes. She wrapped her arms around her mare as Halo brought her head down and hugged Kagome in return. The brothers and Serenity smiled at the scene in front of them before Koga turned to Duke, "can you bring the truck around?" Duke nodded, "sure..." he replied as Koga tossed his brother the keys. "I'll come with you," Serenity said before she and Duke walked away leaving the couple alone. While they stood there Kagome rested her head against Halo's neck as she spoke, "I can't believe that you brought her here for me." Koga smiled at seeing Kagome so happy, "well I knew we would be riding horses so I thought that I'd get in touch with your folks and get them to send Halo here so you'd have your horse with you when we went up in the mountains." Kagome smiled at the man standing in front of her, "you are so sweet baby...I love you..." she said before moving towards him and kissing his lips tenderly. As Koga held her and returned the kiss the realization of what she had just said hit him, 'she said that she loves me...she really loves me...' he thought to himself. When they let of the kiss their eyes met for a moment before Koga spoke, "you...you love me?" he asked. Kagome then realized what she had said but then smiled, "yes I do...very much.." she replied as a blush covered her cheeks. "I love you too Kagome.." Koga replied smiling. There was a comfortable silence as Duke brought Koga's truck around and began backing it up to the trailer, "ok nice and easy bro..." Koga called. "You got it.." Duke called back. Koga guided Duke backwards so they could hitch the trailer up before loading up the horses. Duke backed up carefully, "a little more...a little more...alright that's good," Koga said as Duke and Serenity hopped out of the truck and help Koga hitch the trailer to the trailer hitch. They made quick work of the trailer hitch, "ok pull the truck up a little bit so it will lock into place," Koga replied. "Alright bro.." with that Duke hopped back up into the cab of the truck and pulled up a little bit. As soon as he did they heard it lock into place and Koga tightened the hitch, "ok it's locked into place..nice job." "Alright awesome.." Duke said turning off the truck. "Ok let's get our duffle bags packed then load the horses into the trailer," Koga said. "Ok.." Duke said. "Sounds good," Kagome added nodding before leading her mare to the ring on the side of the trailer and hitching the lead rope to it, "I'll be right back girl...just wait patiently for me and I'll bring you an apple ok." Halo nodded her head before nuzzling Kagome lovingly, "that's my girl.." Kagome said kissing her mare's nose before walking away with Serenity and the brothers into the house. Now in the house the brothers made their way upstairs to their rooms to retrieve some fresh clothes to put into their duffle bags. Kagome and Serenity had already packed their clothes into their duffle bags at the house so Kagome simply went to the kitchen, grabbed an apple and then she and Serenity made their way back out to Kagome's mare Halo to give her the promised treat, "here you go girl just as I promised." Halo nuzzled her rider before nibbling the apple in Kagome's hand while she ran her fingers through the mare's soft mane, "she is a beautiful mare Kagome..I wish I had a horse...I'm so jealous.." Serenity said. Kagome smiled, "I'm sure you'll find the right horse for you when the time is right." Serenity nodded, "I know I will...one day.." she said rubbing Halo's neck.

Once the brothers had grabbed some fresh clothes they made their way back out to the pasture to find Serenity, Kagome and Halo already waiting for them. When the brothers came back outside they found Kagome atop Halo's back playing with her mane, "you look good on your horse baby," Koga commented. Kagome smiled as she squeezed Halo's side with her legs getting the mare to move forward, "why thank you handsome..." she replied in her country accent making Serenity and the brothers laugh along with her. He smiled, "come on lets get the horses loaded and head over to Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's ranch they're waiting for us," Koga said. Serenity smiled, "alright lets go." Kagome nodded and got her mare to load with her still atop her back once she was in the trailer, "there's my good girl," she said kissing her mare's nose. Koga and Duke loaded Tornado and Dare Devil then the four of them got into Koga's truck and drove over to the ranch across the road where the others were waiting for them with Steel Fang riding in the back of the truck.

At Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's ranch the brothers were helping Rin and Kikyo pack their bags before loading their horses onto the trailer. Sesshomaru's wife Rin was wearing an orange plaid western shirt with her tan jeans and her white western hat and boots. Kikyo on the other hand was wearing white western shirt with red across the shoulders and on the sleeve cuffs, on the red shoulders and sleeve cuffs were white roses. Kikyo wore light blue jeans with her white western boots and hat, she matched Inuyasha well. Once the women had their clothes packed they walked outside to place their bags on the bus and then went to retrieve their horses. It was true they had hooked Sesshomaru's trailer to the back of the bus cause it was easier was transport the rest of the band and their families than using several trucks. The women let the brothers get their horses first, "come on Rin lets get the trailer ready so Inu and Sessh can load the horses," Kikyo said kindly. Rin nodded her head, "ok.." she smiled. Sesshomaru walked into the pasture to retrieve his white stallion Inuyoukai and Inuyasha got his white stallion Entei. Sesshomaru always had a bit of trouble getting Inuyoukai loaded into a trailer but he had been working with him and the stallion was doing better at loading, "come on boy time to load up.." Sesshomaru said kindly. To the surprise of the couples and the rest of the band Inuyoukai loaded into the trailer calmly, "wow Sesshomaru you really have been working with him," Roy commented. Sesshomaru glanced over his shoulder, "yeah I have but it wasn't easy let me tell you." Yami chuckled, "I bet it wasn't." Inuyasha then led Entei into the trailer and tethered him to the ring beside Inuyoukai then allowed Kikyo and Rin to load their horses. "Ok time to get your mares," Inuyasha said. Kikyo nodded as she and Rin walked into the pasture and clicked their lead ropes onto their horses' halters, "come on Priestess lets load up.." she said to her mare. "Come on Windy," Rin said calling her mare by her barn name. Priestess' Moonshadow was Kikyo's champion barrel racing mare with a pristine white coat and elegant ebony mane and tail. Rin's little mare Free Spirit was a sweet chestnut mare that Sesshomaru had bought for his wife on her birthday six years ago back when they were dating. With the mares loaded they closed the trailer gate and were about to get onto the bus when they saw Koga's truck coming down the drive-way, "hey there's Koga.." Yami said as they came to a stop. Koga stepped out the truck and called to the others, "are we ready to go?" "You bet!" Inuyasha exclaimed. "Alright lets go," Duke said. With that Koga got back into his truck while the rest of the band, Roy, Kikyo and Rin got onto the bus and drove out of the drive-way. Koga let Roy lead them down the road because they still had to get Tea, Riza and Kisara plus their horses then they could be on the way to the mountains for a family vacation. On the way down to Roy's ranch Rin and Kikyo talked to their men about the concert they had done recently, "so how did Kagome and Serenity do at their first concert?" Kikyo asked. "They did really well for first timers," Sesshomaru commented. "Yeah they did a couple of songs and then joined in on some of the songs we did plus did a couple songs with Koga and Duke," Inuyasha added. "Wow I can't wait to meet them," Kikyo said. Roy chuckled, "you'll get to meet them when we get to the cabin," he said. Rin beamed at hearing this, "I can't wait to meet them either.." she replied. Sesshomaru smiled at his enthusiastic wife, "be patient my love.." he said taking her hand in his and kissing her knuckles which made her blush.

In Koga's truck both Kagome and Serenity were bubbling over with curiosity, "so what's Riza like?" Serenity asked looking at Duke. He smiled, "she's really nice.." Duke said. It was then that Koga answered, "but you should see how she handles Roy though she keeps him under her thumb...it's funny." Kagome looked at Koga, "really?" she asked giggling. Duke chuckled, "yeah she does she has completely embarrassed him before too and it gave us all a good laugh." Serenity and Kagome were giggling, "what did she do?" Serenity asked. There was silence in the truck for the longest time as both men tried to remember what it was, "it was after we first started doing tours together," Koga said. "It was on tour?" Kagome asked. "Yeah it was but I can't remember what it was she did," Duke answered. "Me either," Koga added. "Hmn.." was the girls' only response as silence fell in the truck once more.

They spent the next couple of hours on the road and it was late in the evening, "I'm tired..." Rin said as a yawn passed through her lips. Sesshomaru smiled as he brushed her bangs from her face, "try and get some sleep then baby I'll wake you when we get there." Rin simply nodded her head and leaned it against his shoulder while he wrapped an arm around her shoulders, holding her close. Kikyo smiled, "she tires easy doesn't she.." she commented. Sesshomaru nodded, "it's to be expected.." he said with a knowing smile on his lips. It took a minute for it occur to everyone else on the bus, "what?" Inuyasha said. "Are you serious?" Yami questioned. Sesshomaru smiled, "yeah I am." "That's awesome..." Inuyasha said. "It's amazing..." Kikyo added. Yami then turned around to look at Roy, "did you hear that Roy?" he asked. "I did congratulations Sesshomaru," Roy replied. Sesshomaru smiled proudly, "thanks guys." Inuyasha then spoke, "just wait till Koga and Duke hear about this." "Those two? Just wait till Kagome, Serenity, Tea and Riza hear about this," Kikyo said. "You got a point there," Yami said. The whole time Seto had remained silent, "hmph who would want any those annoying rugrats." The others turned to look at him, "oh shut up Kiba you're always getting on everybody's nerves with that damn attitude of yours," Inuyasha said. Kikyo spoke, "Inu.." she said. "No I'm tired of him always being such an ass to everybody..." Inuyasha said. It was then that Yami spoke up, "yeah he's right Kiba if you ain't got nothing to say then keep your mouth shut." Kiba looked at the four band members glaring at him and just scoffed at them before going to his bunk to sleep. "Hmph jerk..." Inuyasha spat as he sat back beside Kikyo. "He defiantly needs an attitude adjustment," Kikyo said. Yami smirked, "yeah no doubt." After things had settled down Sesshomaru spoke again, "I gonna take her to her room and probably lay down." "Ok goodnight brother.." Inuyasha said. "Night Sesshomaru," Yami called. It was then that Roy spoke, "y'all should try and get some sleep too." The three looked in his direction, "what about you? You need some rest too.." Yami asked. Roy chuckled, "don't worry about me...besides I've done this before so I'll be fine." "Alright Roy if you're sure.." Inuyasha merely nodded, "ok if you're sure..." Inuyasha then turned to Kikyo, "c'mon Kikyo let's get some sleep." She nodded as she got up and followed her fiance back to their room. Yami still remained sitting where he had been on one of the sofas and Roy took notice, "Yami I thought you had gone to bed with the others." "No I'm not really tired..." Yami replied. After a few moments of silence Yami spoke, "how are you and Riza doing?" Roy glanced on his shoulder before turning his eyes back to the road, "we're doing good...this weekend will be really good too because we haven't been able to spend a lot of time together since we've been touring. I really miss being around her..." he said with a distant look in his eyes. Yami nodded his head in understanding, "I know how you feel Roy I feel the same way about Tea and the kids." Roy then spoke, "when I talked to Riza the other night she told that she wanted me to come home because she missed me but she also said that she had something to tell me." Hearing this caught Yami's attention, "what do you think it is?" he asked. Roy shook his head slightly, "I don't know..." he said in almost a whisper. Yami could see the slight worry on his friend's face, "hey I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.." he said placing a hand on Roy's shoulder. Roy smiled, "thanks Yami now you should get some sleep it'll be a while before we get to my house." Yami nodded as a yawn passed through his lips, "ok goodnight Roy." "Night Yami.." he replied as Yami walked away to go sleep in his bunk leaving Roy to continue driving towards his home.

At Roy's house Riza was sitting on the bed with Black Hayate laying at her feet, she glanced down at him and smiled as she went back to her magazine. She was a bit nervous because she had to tell Roy something and she wasn't sure how he would react. She was so wrap in her thoughts she didn't notice that Black Hayate was walking up the bed towards her. When he licked her hand she jumped slightly and let a gasp escape her lips. She looked at her companion and smiled as she petted him before scratching him behind the ear as he lay beside her. She decided to put her magazine back on the bedside table before getting under the covers and going to sleep.

Back in Koga's truck the girls had fallen asleep leaving only him and Duke awake, "man this weekend will be so much fun." Koga sideglanced at his brother, "yeah it will and it's been so long since we've all done something together like this." "I know what you mean bro but I'm looking forward to this and it'll be nice just relax for a while and not have to think about work," Duke said. "For sure..." Koga commented. There was silence for several moments before something struck Duke, "you know what I just realized?" "What is it?" Koga asked. Duke looked in the back seat at Serenity before speaking, "how will Serenity ride horses with us when she doesn't have one?" he said. Koga then realized that his brother was right, "oh crap..." was Koga's only reply. Duke looked at his brother, "what are we gonna do about that? We don't want her to feel left out." Koga thought for a minute or two before a thought hit him, "I've got an idea.." he said pulling out his phone and dialing Roy's number. On the bus Roy was brought out his thoughts when he cell rang, "hello." "Hey Roy it's Koga..." he answered. "Hey Koga what's up?" he asked. "I've got a question for you...does Riza still have that little filly she was training?" Koga asked. Roy thought for a minute before answering, "yeah why do you ask?" "Well the thing is Serenity doesn't have a horse like the rest of us," Koga said. Roy was silent for a minute, "oh I see well right now I'm not sure if Riza has finished working with the filly but we can ask her when we get to my ranch." "Ok that works see you at the rest stop.." Koga said. "See ya there.." Roy replied before hanging up. After talking to Roy Koga looked at Duke, "well what did he say?" he asked. "He said we can ask Riza when we reach the ranch," Koga answered. Duke nodded, "I guess that's the only way to find out really because Roy has been away from home for a few weeks." "I know and I still wonder what it is that Riza has to tell Roy?" Koga said. Duke thought for a moment, "hmm I wonder..." Koga could tell by the tone in his brother's voice, "what are you thinking brother?" he asked. "I'm just thinking that maybe she's gonna tell him that he's gonna be a dad," Duke said. Koga sideglanced at Duke, "you think so?" he asked. "Yeah I do.." Duke replied. "Hmn.." was Koga's only response as he kept his eyes on the road in front of him. There was silence for the longest time until Duke spoke again, "how long til we get to the rest stop?" Koga thought for a moment before answering, "I think it's still another hour from here." Duke rested his head against the headrest, "man I could really use some sleep." Koga nodded, "me too.." he yawned. An hour later they finally reached a rest stop and decided to stop here for the night and get some sleep before they continued onward. On the bus everyone was already asleep except Roy because he was texting his wife goodnight before going to sleep himself. In Koga's truck the girls had been asleep half way down the road and boys were now able to get some sleep while Steel Fang keeping watch in the back of the truck.

It was early the next morning when Roy awoke to his phone buzzing, "hmn...it's too early.." he mumbled as he looked at his phone. He had a text message from Riza that read, "good morning my loving flame, I can't wait to have you home again because I've really missed you." Roy smiled as he replied to her text with telling her good morning and that he missed her too. He was on the way home to come pick her and their horses up because they were going on vacation in the mountains. Upon reading his reply she smiled, she then told him that she was happy that they'd get to spend time together and it was going to feel so good in the mountains. He smiled at her words then sent a quick I love you before he put his phone away and started the bus up to continue onward.

It was when Roy had started the bus that Fang gave a small bark which woke Koga up, "hmn what is it?" he said groggily. Upon hearing the bus engine he looked in that direction, "guess Roy decided to get an early start.." he yawned as he stretched a bit before starting his truck and following Roy down the road. As he drove Koga grabbed his radio, turned it to the channel the bus used and radioed Roy, "good morning Roy decided to get an early start did you?" he the bus Roy heard Koga's voice come over the radio, "well good morning to you too Koga and yes I did." Koga chuckled, "did Riza wake you?" he teased. "Yes she did and I told her that we were heading that way to pick her up and go to the mountains," Roy said. "What did she say?" Koga asked. "She said that it was a good idea and was glad that we'd be able to spend time together too," Roy answered. "I see so where are we gonna stop for breakfast?" he asked. Roy thought for a moment before answering, "well seeing as how we're about an hour and a half away from my ranch there's a place that's twenty minutes from here, that will give everyone time to get woke up." Koga smiled, "sounds good to me see you there.." he replied placing the radio back on it's little hanger.

A few minutes after talking to Roy Duke woke up with a yawn, "good morning brother.." Koga said. Duke looked at his brother, "good morning.." he stretched out his stiff muscles as he continued, "what has you up so early?" he asked. Koga chuckled, "Fang woke me when Roy started the bus up." "Hmn Riza must've been his wake up call again.." Duke said. "Yeah she was," Koga replied. Duke smiled in amusement as he looked out the window glancing at a field they passed, "how long til we get to the ranch?" he asked. Koga sideglanced at his brother before answering, "about an hour and a half.." he replied. Duke was silent for a moment before he asked his next question, "are we gonna eat breakfast at the ranch or are we getting something before we get there?" "Roy said that we're gonna stop at a place about twenty minutes from the rest stop, he figured that would give everyone time enough to get woke up." Duke merely nodded as he asked one more thing as he looked back at Steel Fang in the back of the truck, "Fang loves these trips doesn't he?" Koga smiled, "yes he does and he hasn't been away from the ranch for a while, that's why I decided to bring him with us," Koga commented. Duke looked at his brother, "what about your ranch Koga aren't you worried about leaving it unguarded?" he asked. "No not really Ginta and Hakkaku are suppose to be coming to the ranch to look after while we're away from it. They go back and forth from the reservation to the ranch to check on everything and make sure it's all ok," Koga explained. Duke nodded, "did they know about this little trip?" he asked. Koga nodded, "yes they did I told them some time ago that we were all planning to go on vacation together I just didn't know when." "So when they notice that Fang isn't there on the porch as he usually is they'll know you came home, got him and the horses?" "Yeah they will but I promised them that we'd do something when we got back though," Koga answered with a smile. Duke knew that Koga hadn't seen his other brothers since we became a musician but he also knew that they were use to Koga always being away from home doing something whether it was being a musician or being a bull rider. They always knew that Koga would make time for them when he came home as he always did but this time Duke would get to enjoy Ginta and Hakkaku's time as well because they were all brothers afterall. Twenty minutes later both the bus and Koga's truck was pulling into a diner parking-lot to get some breakfast before they got to Roy's ranch. Roy turned to look towards the back of the bus, "alright everyone time to get up and get some breakfast.." he called. Upon hearing Roy call them they got out of bed, threw on some fresh clothes and made their way inside the diner for breakfast. Once inside they grabbed a wrap around booth so they could all sit togther, "good morning y'all what can I get ya?"asked the waitress that came over to them. Roy looked up, "morning Miss can you bring us some coffee?" he asked. "Sure thing.." the waitress said. It was then that Rin spoke up, "not for me can I get a gingerale?" she asked. The waitress looked at the young woman, "sure hun upset stomach this morning?" she asked. Rin merely nodded, "well don't worry sweetie it'll get better...be right back in a jiff.." she said winking at Rin. All eyes then turned to her, "what was that about?" Koga asked. "Yeah I thought you usually drank coffee in the mornings," Duke added. Rin merely smiled, "well that is true but I haven't been feeling well lately...guess it's just a bug." The ones that had been on the bus knew what was going on but remained silent, "a bug hope it's not catching," Duke said. Rin giggled, "no I don't believe it is so you don't have to worry Duke." They all smiled as the waitress returned with a gingerale for Rin and a pot of coffee to be shared between everyone else, "here we go coffee all around and a gingerale." "Thank you ma'am.." Kagome said. "Please call me Jen..." she replied. Kagome merely nodded as Jen pulled out her notepad to get down their orders, "what'll y'all have?" Koga looked the menu over as did everyone else, "I think I'll have the special." "You got it honey.." Jen said. Serenity spoke up, "what's the special?" "It's sunshine with a pig on the side.." Jen replied. Everyone was confused by her words, "what?" Roy asked. It was then that Kagome answered, "it's eggs sunny side up with a side of bacon." Jen looked at her, "you know diner lingo?" "Yeah a little bit my mother use to be a waitress at this little diner when she was a teenager and when I came along she taught me when I started working at the same little place." "Impressive..." she smiled before turning to Rin, "Miss do you want to special too?" Rin thought for a moment before giving her answer, "I think I'll just get some oatmeal." Jen merely nodded as she walked away to get their food knowing very well what was up with Rin. Once she had returned with the food the band thank her as they began to enjoy their breakfast while she saw to other patrons in the diner. As they ate Roy looked at Serenity, "so Serenity..." upon hearing her name she looked at him, "yes Roy." "Koga tells me that you don't have a horse," he said. Serenity nodded, "that's right I have been looking for the right horse before I get one." Roy nodded in understanding as he spoke, "I'm sure it took a while for me to find mine." "How did you find him?"she asked. "Riza was the one that got him for me...well it was more like she surprised me with him. She'd had him for a couple years and after she got into riding she decided that I needed a horse so I could go riding with her," Roy explained. "She works with horses?" Serenity asked. Roy took a sip of his coffee as he continued, "yes she does in fact she's been working with a pretty little filly for almost a year now." Serenity was now very curious, "can we see her when we get to your ranch?" she asked. Roy chuckled, "you'd have to ask Riza about that...afterall she's the one working with her." Serenity merely nodded as they settled into a comfortable silence to finish their breakfast so they could get going again. After they paid for their food they left to get back on the road and head for the ranch so everyone loaded back on the bus and in Koga's truck and continued driving.

At the ranch Riza was checking the chestnut-roan appaloosa mare, "com'ere girl.." Riza called gently. The little mare came up to the fence and nuzzled Riza's hand gently, "hmn that's a good girl.." Riza praised. The mare nickered to her before stepping closer and nosing her playfully making Riza laugh, "being playful this morning are we?" she asked rubbing the mare's nose affectionately. Riza had made a lot of progress with this little mare, when she had come to Riza she had been neglected and left alone so she had never known much kindness til she came here to the ranch. She looked at her thoughtfully and knew that this little mare was ready to find her a rider that would show her the same love she was given here. Riza knew that the band was coming with Roy but she didn't know that Kagome and Serenity would be amongst them or that Serenity didn't have a horse. She would soon find out because they were closer than she thought. On the road they had just about reached Roy's ranch, "we're almost there." "Cool..." was Inuyasha's only response as he rested his head on the sofa. Kikyo poked him in the side, "come on Inu wake up will ya.." she said. He opened a golden eye and looked at his fiance, "baby let me rest my eyes a minute." She just shook her head at him, "what am I gonna do with you?" she asked playfully. He just smiled at her before grabbing her and kissing her lips as he held her in his arms. Roy just rolled his eyes at them as he pulled into his driveway, "finally home..." he sighed. At hearing him speak everyone got to the windows to look at the ranch, "wow Roy this place is nice.." Sesshomaru said. "Yeah it's really pretty..." Rin added. Roy merely smiled as he pulled in front of his house and brought the bus to a stop, "alright y'all can stretch your legs while I grab some fresh clothes for the trip and Riza, then we'll show you the horses," he said opening the door and walking out with everyone following right behind him.

At the same time Koga had pulled up in his truck and had heard Roy's words, "it's been a long time since we've been here," Duke said. Koga leaned on the steering wheel, "yeah seven months.." he added. Kagome and Serenity looked around before opening their doors and stepping out of the truck with the boys doing the same. Riza was standing at the pasture and had heard them roll into the driveway, "I guess they're finally home..." she said with a smile. She then turned to the mare, "I'll come back and see you before we go girl..." she said rubbing the mare's nose before walking towards the front of the house. Roy had gone inside and upstairs to retrieve some fresh clothes for the trip before looking for Riza because he figured she was probably outside working with the mare. When he was on his way out he noticed a magazine sitting on the side table, "huh what's this?" he said as he picked it up. He looked at the cover picture then noticed the title, "parenthood..." as the words left his lips he then realized what it was that she had to tell him, "I'm gonna be a dad..." he said. He sat on the bed to let the thought sink in but his thoughts were interrupted when Black Hayate ran into the room to greet him. "Hayate, hey there boy I've missed you too.." he said as he petted him.

Outside the band was resting against the bus when Riza came around the house to greet them, "hello you guys!" she called. Upon hearing her voice they all looked in her direction, "Riza hello how are you?" Koga said as he approached her and hugged her. "I'm good Koga, how are you?" she asked. He let go of her as he answered, "I'm doing really good.." he turned to his brother and the two girls behind them, "you remember my brother Duke?" She smiled, "of course I do.." she turned to him, "hello Duke it's good to see you." "Same here Riza," he turned to the girls, "I'd like to introduce the two newest members of the band. This is Kagome her cousin Serenity.." he said. Riza smiled at the girls, "hello Kagome...Serenity it's nice to meet you." Kagome was the one to speak, "it's nice to meet you too Riza...Roy has told us a lot about you." "All good things.." Serenity added. She smiled, "well I'm glad of that...so Roy told me that you all are going on vacation together." "That's right we are and we're bringing our horses so we can ride the trails around the lake," Kagome said. "I haven't been riding for a while so it will be nice to get out and enjoy the mountain air. Has Roy told you about our horses?" she asked. "Yes he has but we'd love to see them," Serenity said. "Of course the pasture is back here follow me.." she said leading them behind the house to the horse pasture. Riza led them to the barn where a pasture had been built against it in the same fashion as Koga's ranch. When they reached the pasture they could see the horses near the pond, "wow they're beautiful.." Kagome commented. Riza smiled and whistled to them and as soon as they heard her they came cantering across the pasture. They stopped right in front of the gate to greet the people standing there. Riza reached out and rubbed her palomino's nose, "hey there Hawkeye how's my boy?" she cooed. He stepped closer to her and nuzzled against her as she kissed his forehead, "this is Lieutenant Haweye, I gave him the name I use to go by when I was in the military." The girls looked at each other, "wow that's so cool Riza.." Kagome said. "I imagine there were times that were very scary," Serenity added. Riza nodded, "you got that right and Roy can tell you the same thing but those are stories for another time." It was then that Roy came out to the pasture where the group was standing, "there's my beautiful wife..." he said picking her up and kissing her tendering on the lips. When he set her down he whispered in her ear, "I know what it is that you wanted to tell me." His words surprised her, "how'd you..." she asked. "I saw the parenthood magazine on the nightstand when I went to get some fresh clothes.." Roy said as he kissed her again. The band looked at each other before one of them spoke, "what?!" Yami said. Riza looked at them before looking back at Roy, "we may as well tell them.." she said. Roy nodded as Riza turned to the group standing with them, "I'm...I'm pregnant.." she replied. The group felt so much excitement, "that's amazing.." Inuyasha said. "Yes it is..." Kikyo then turned to Riza, "we're so happy for you two.." she said embracing the woman. Koga and Duke slapped Roy on the back in congratulations but then they noticed that Rin was unusually quiet, "hey Rin you haven't said much.." Serenity said. "Yeah what's up?" Koga asked. She looked at Sesshomaru before speaking, "well..." she started but then it occured to Kagome what was going on, "wait are you...are you pregnant too?" she asked. Rin smiled and nodded as the girls embraced her too, "oh Rin this is amazing," Serenity turned to look at the others, "you all knew didn't you?" she asked. Inuyasha was the one to answer, "yeah we did Sesshomaru kinda let it slip on the bus before we went to bed last night." "How come you didn't tell us?" Koga asked. "I knew Rin would be upset if I did because I knew she wanted to tell you herself.." Sesshomaru answered. They nodded in understanding but then a thought hit Serenity and she turned to Riza, "Roy told me that you work with horses." Riza nodded, "yeah I do and I've got a beautiful filly that I've been working with. Would you like to see her?" she asked. "We'd love to," Kagome said. She smiled, "ok she's over here in the pasture across from this one," she explained as she led them over. When they got to the gate the little mare looked up and came trotting over, "hey there girl..." Riza said holding her hand out to her. The mare nuzzled her hand as she always did but when she noticed the group standing with Riza she became curious and began looking them over. Riza stood quietly and watched the little mare closely to see how she would react to them. Serenity stepped slowly towards her and held out her hand to let the mare sniff her. Riza was a little surprised that the mare didn't shy away as she use to do when she had new people around her. Slowly the mare stepped as close as she could to Serenity, allowing her to touch her nose, "hey there beautiful girl.." she said before looking at Riza, "does she have a name?" Riza shook her head no, "I haven't been able to come up with a name for her yet...she's so unique that it's not easy to come up with a name for her." Serenity turned her attention back to the mare in front of her, "is she able to be ridden?" she asked. "Yes she is and after all the progress she's made I think it's time to find her a rider that will take care of her and love her forever.." Riza said. Serenity turned to Riza, "really because I don't have a horse like everyone else does. Do you think I could be that rider?" she asked hesitantly. Riza smiled at the young woman as she placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, "I believe so...she's never warmed up to anyone like she has you, I think she's chosen her rider." Serenity's face lit up as she looked at the mare, "is that true girl did you chose me as your rider?" she asked. The mare whinnied before nuzzling Serenity affectionately making her smile as she hugged the mare. It was then that a name came to her, "Skylah..." she said. "What did you say Serenity?" Duke asked. "A name for her Skylah.." she then turned to the mare, "what do you think girl do you like that name?" she asked. The mare nuzzled Serenity before whinning again making the group laugh, "I think she likes it.." Koga said. "I'd say she does..." Kikyo added happily. Serenity turned to her mare, "Skylah it is then.." she said hugging her new mare and kissing her forehead. It was then that Roy spoke, "well now that we have that settled what do you say we get the horses loaded so we can get back on the road? We still have to pick up Tea and Kisara and get their horses." Riza smiled, "alright dear just let me get some fresh clothes...go ahead and load the horses.." she said walking away. Roy then looked at Serenity, "are you gonna put Skylah in Koga's trailer?" "Yeah I am besides with Halo in there she won't be the only mare so she'll be calm..." Serenity answered. "Ok but you might want to wait til Riza gets back so she can help you.." Roy suggested. "Ok.." was Serenity's only reply. Skylah was already wearing a halter so all Serenity had to do was clip the lead onto it and lead her out.

It didn't take Riza long to return the others with Black Hayate following behind her, "alright now to get the horses and load them up." "Can we just lead them around the house to the trailers?" Serenity asked. Riza looked at her, "I think your Skylah will be alright to do that she doesn't spook anymore, I've made sure of that." Serenity smiled as Riza clipped onto Hawkeye while Roy clipped the lead to Colonel, "alright Serenity nice and easy so we'll see how she reacts." Serenity nodded, "ok come on girl.." she said gently as she led her mare out of the pasture with the other two horses right behind her along their little group of riders. As the mare looked at her new surroundings she sniffed the air but when she heard the other horses in the trailers making sounds she whinnied to them. Serenity placed a gentle hand on Skylah's neck to make sure she stayed calm, "it's alright girl it's just the other horses in the trailers." Skylah seemed to respond to Serenity's calm voice and continued to walk quietly towards Koga trailer to be loaded next to Halo. Koga walked to the trailer door to let Skylah have a look inside but was surprised when she walked calmly in without any prompting, "guess she's use to loading," was Koga's only remark. Riza laughed, "yes she does very well loading and unloading always has but I never expected her to walk into a trailer with horses she doesn't know." Serenity came in beside her and tethered beside Halo, "there you go girl and you have Halo to keep you company til we get to the mountains," she said kissing the mare's nose before walking out of the trailer as Koga closed the door and locked it. "Now that Skylah's loaded time to load Hawkeye and Colonel into the big trailer and get back on the road," Roy said. They quickly got the two horses loaded, "alright let's roll out," Roy said. "Right!" the group said together as they got onto the bus and into Koga's truck. Before Roy got on the bus Koga called to him, "hey Roy!" "Yeah?" "Are we meeting at Yami's or at a rest stop?" Koga asked. Roy turned to Yami, "how far is your house from here?" he asked. Yami thought a moment before answering, "it's about a three hour ride from here I think so we should get there before it gets late in the day and then Kiba's place is an hour from there." "Alright that works," Roy then turned to Koga, "see you at Yami's." Koga nodded as he started his truck and pulled around the driveway which was circular as Roy got in the bus, cranked it up and followed Koga out and onto the road.

They travelled down the road for the next several miles and only stopped at an eating place to get something to eat before heading to Yami's. When they did reach his place Yami saw that Tea was outside waiting for him with the kids in toe, "look Yami there's Tea.." Rin said. He merely nodded as Roy stopped the bus to let them all off the bus while Koga and the others got out of his truck. Yami ran up and embraced Tea warmly as he kissed her lips. When they let go of the kiss Tea giggled, "I've missed you too baby.." she said. Yami hugged her once more as he spoke, "it's good to have you in my arms again my love.." he said before being embraced by his children and little brother Yugi. After he greeted his family the others did the same, "hey Tea..." Serenity said hugging the woman she saw as a sister. "Serenity it's so good to see you.." she replied. She then turned to Kikyo and Rin, "hello you two.." she greeted as she embraced both women. "It's good to see you too Tea.." Kikyo replied. When Tea hugged Rin she knew and her face lit up, "I'm so happy for you and Sesshomaru...y'all will make great parents." Rin smiled as did Sesshomaru, "it's good to see you too Tea.." he greeted as Inuyasha waved to her. Then Tea noticed the new woman standing with Koga and Duke, "and you must be Kagome.." she said. Kagome smiled, "I am it's nice to meet you Tea." Tea nodded as Roy spoke, "are you ready to go with us on vacation?" he asked. Tea nodded, "Tea I am Yugi's gonna watch the twins til Mia and Joey get here." "Great because this is gonna be so much fun," Serenity said. Tea smiled, "ok my bag is already packed all that's left is for us to load the horses." While Yami went and grabbed some fresh clothes for his duffle bag the others loaded the bay roan stallion and chestnut mare. By the time he returned they had the horses loaded and ready to go. They got back on the bus and into Koga's truck and continued towards Kiba's house to pick up Kisara and get their horses. While they headed towards Kiba's place there were several questions being thrown in his direction because no one had ever met Kisara and were all curious about who she was. "Come on Kiba tell us about her.." Rin said. "Yeah we've never met her...what she's like," Kikyo added. Kiba glanced in their direction but ignored them completely as he put in his earbuds to listen to some music and hopefully avoid their questions about his wife. Roy could see that they weren't having any luck and decided to change the subject, "so Tea I saw how big your children are...how old are they now?" he asked. Tea looked in his direction, "they are seven now and are quite the handful but I'm sure you and Riza will find out about that soon enough as will Rin and Sesshomaru." They all looked at her curiously, "you knew?" Inuyasha asked. She giggled, "yeah I knew they both confided in me since I'm the only one who had kids and asked me to keep it a secret for them til they were ready to tell you guys." The whole band knew her words were true and slipped into a comfortable silence all the way to Kiba's house. When they did reach Kiba's house they were all surprised to see a young woman standing on the porch of the mansion, "wow look at her..." Inuyasha said. "Yeah she's gorgeous..." Kikyo added as everyone nodded in agreement. It was then that Kiba spoke, "yes...she is..." he said almost dreamily as he wore one of those rare smiles. The band looked at each other before looking back at Kiba as he stepped off the bus and ran up to the woman and embraced her warmly. Roy chuckled, "what do you know Kiba actually knows how to be nice...go figure.." he said. Everyone laughed a bit but got quiet when Kiba brought the woman onto the bus. There was silence for a moment before Kiba spoke, "I know that you've all had questions about who Kisara is...well this is her, my wife Kisara." Kisara bowed her head as she spoke, "I'm happy to finally meet all of you Kiba has told me much about you.." she said. They were all surprised by angelic voice and stunning appearance, pale skin and light silvery white hair...similar to Inuyasha and Sesshomaru's. Kikyo was the first to greet the woman, "we're all happy to meet you too Kisara and may I say you are stunning." Kisara smiled at Kikyo for her words, "you are very kind Miss Kikyo." After a few moments Koga approached her, "it's an honor to meet you...I've heard much about you before we met Kiba. My father spoke of a woman with deep blue eyes and silking colored hair but I never believed his words til now," he said taking her hand and kissing her knuckles. Kisara smiled at him, "you must be the son of the native chiefton that I met some years ago when I was but a child, he was very kind to me and I thought very highly of him and your people. I was sadden when I heard of the death of him and your mother." Koga smiled, "your words are kind Kisara...there is much love for you amongst my tribe." It was then that Duke spoke, "Koga you never told me that our father knew her." He turned to his brother as he spoke, "it's like I told her I never believed what father told me...I thought maybe he saw her in a dream," he explained. "Oh..." was Duke's only reply. The moment was interrupted when Kiba spoke, "you never told me that knew them." She turned to her husband, "I didn't think you would feel the same about me if you knew I was a Lakota maiden." They all were surprised at Kiba's next actions and words, "baby I could never think less of you because of your heritage...I love you the same as I always have.." he said embracing her and kissing her. After letting go of the kiss Roy spoke, "well...ok then shall we get ready to roll out?" he asked. Kiba and Kisara looked at him, "I think so I just have grab my duffle bag and load my horse and Kiba's horse.." she said. Roy merely nodded as the pair left to go retrieve their horses and load them on the trailer. In the process of getting their horses Kisara grabbed her duffle bag to place by the bus so she could bring it on with her after she loaded her horse. The band watched them walked around the horse together and when they returned they were leading to horses, "whoa look at that stallion.." Inuyasha said. "Yeah for real he's a big horse," Riza added as Black Hayate merely barked in agreement. They kept their eyes on the blue roan stallion that is until Kagome spoke, "look at that mare though a silver dapple coat with a white mane and tail," she said. It was then that all eyes turned to the mare, "wow she's beautiful.." Serenity said. They watched Kiba and Kisara load their horses then get back onto the bus, "well shall we go?" Kisara asked happily. Roy nodded, "now we're all here time to head for the mountains," he said cranking up the bus while Duke cranked up Koga's truck opting to drive this time and followed Roy out onto the road again. This drive was gonna be another three or four hour drive for them so they would have to stop at another rest stop for the night before getting to the mountain cabin. On the bus there were questions being directed to Kisara, "so Kisara I saw that beautiful horse you loaded in the trailer. What's her name?" "Her show name is Spirit Protector but her barn name is Blue Eyes," she answered. Kikyo nodded, "she's beautiful Kisara.." she said. Kisara smiled, "and I saw your horse Kikyo she's magnificent and I've seen her perform in competition too." Kikyo was happy to hear that her horse was well loved by other people besides her. "Yeah and Inuyasha I've never seen a stallion like him before.." Kisara added. "Thank you Kisara he was our father's horse that my mother gave him," Inuyasha said. Kisara nodded, "my father knew your family and deeply loved them." Both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru smiled at her words as they all settled into a comfortable silence while they travelled down the road. It was late in the evening when they stopped at a rest stop after getting something to eat, "I think we'll stop here for the night," Roy said. "Sounds good to me..." Inuyasha said. "Yeah me too," Yami added. "Y'all try and get some sleep we gotta be back on the road in the morning," Roy said. "Ok goodnight y'all..." Tea said as she and Yami walked back to share one of the bunks. "Think we're gonna turn in too..." Sesshomaru then turned to Rin, "you need to get all the rest you can.." he said picking her up in his arms. Inuyasha and Kikyo followed suit and head off to bed as did Kiba and Kisara leaving Roy and Riza to sleep up front. In Koga's truck Kagome and Serenity were already alseep and Koga was half way there so Duke just layed his head against the cushion to get some sleep too. With the whole band together now they could head to the cabin and begin their vacation.

When the sun rose the next morning Roy was awakened by Riza kissing his cheek then his lips. Upon opening his eyes and seeing his beautiful wife he smiled, "well good morning my lovely Riza." She smiled, "good morning baby.." she cooed. He stretched out his stiff muscles before starting the bus and heading towards the lake cabin. When Duke heard the bus start he woke up and looked in that direction, "damn Roy likes to start the day early.." he said as he stretched his stiff muscles before starting the truck and following Roy out of the rest stop. They rolled out and made good time heading to the lake and the cabin, "I can't wait to get to the cabin...it will be so much fun.." Rin said. Sesshomaru smiled, "we'll be there soon enough baby.." he said kissing her temple. Inuyasha smiled at the pair, "remember when you use to be a real uptight ass hole Sessh?" he teased. Sesshomaru gave Inuyasha a look that said that he wasn't amused that made Inuyasha laugh, "chill bro I'm just teasing." Sesshomaru just rolled his eyes as he turned to look out the window at the scenery. Kikyo smiled as she enjoyed the sight before her, "look Inu there's the lake," Kikyo said. Inu merely smiled as he wrapped an arm around his beloved and kissed her temple before nuzzling his nose into her hair. In Koga's truck the girls were excited, "I can't wait to see the cabin and the lake again...it's been so long," Kagome said happily. Serenity smiled, "I know it has been a long time...it feels so good to be back here." Koga looked at the girls, "you two really love it here don't you?" he asked. Kagome looked at him, "yes we do it's one of our favorite places." He nodded in understanding as Duke spoke, "yeah this is one of our favorite places too." As they came around the bend they spotted the lake, "oh look Serenity there's the lake.." Kagome said. The girls smiled as all the old memories came flooding back to them.

Just ahead was the beautiful cabin where they would be staying while they would be on vacation, along the barn and pasture where they would keep their horses. When they reached the cabin Roy pulled the bus to a stop while Koga pulled his truck with the trailer towards the barn so they could unload their horses. Once next to the barn Koga backed right up to the gate of the pasture so they'd only need to lead the horses a short ways to put them into it. After parking the truck the four riders got out and went to the trailer while Steel Fang hopped out of the back of the truck, "ok girls you two unload your horses first then we'll bring out ours," Duke said. Serenity merely nodded as Kagome opened the trailer and walked inside, "hey Halo-girl ready to go into the pasture?" she asked knowing the answer. Halo nuzzled her affectionately as Kagome led her out. "Hey there Sky..." Serenity greeted as she untied the lead from the loop and led the mare out. Kagome turned to Serenity, "hold to her lead so I can open the gate." "Ok.." was Serenity's answer as she watched her cousin open the pasture gate while she led both horses into the pasture. Kagome gently took hold of Halo's lead once more so she could unhook it, "there you go girl go enjoy a good run and fresh grass," she said petting her mare's neck. Serenity unhooked Skylah's lead from her halter, "there we go...enjoy the pasture with Halo.." she said kissing her nose. Kagome and Serenity hung their leads on the gate while they watched Duke and Koga lead their stallions into the pasture. "Come on boy time to stretch those legs," Koga said. "Yeah and enjoy some food and water," Duke added as they walked into the pasture and unhooked the leads from the halters allowing both stallions to run loose in the pasture. After hanging the leads onto the gate Koga turned to his brother and the girls, "ok they're comfortable time to go get the other trailer and put the other horses in the other pasture." The three nodded as they walked out of the pasture and fastened the gate behind them. Koga unhooked his trailer and parked it beside the pasture so he could go get the other one, while Duke, Kagome and Serenity got in the truck to pull back up to the front of the cabin. The girls and Duke got out of the truck as Koga called out, "Inu unhook the trailer from the bus so I can hook my truck to it and I'll pull down to the other pasture and we can get these guys unloaded." The silver-haired man nodded as he walked off the bus and did as Koga asked while Roy moved the bus so Koga could get in front of the trailer. Inuyasha stood beside the trailer and helped Koga back up, "ok Koga back it up nice and easy." Koga kept his eye on the mirror so he could see Inuyasha as he motioned Koga backwards and up to the trailer. "Come on a little bit more...little bit more...perfect.." Inuyasha said as he hitched the trailer to Koga's truck, "ok pull up a little bit." Koga did pulled up and the trailer locked into place, "alright we got it.." Inu said. Koga poked his head out the window and spoke, "ok guys hop in and help me unload these horses." At his words all the men hopped into the back of the truck and rode down to the barn and towards the second pasture. Koga carefully backed up to the second pasture gate he stopped just as he had before. Now sitting still the guys jumped out of the back and made their way to the trailer to unload the horses, Kiba was first. He walked in and untied both Obilisk and Blue Eyes, led them out of the trailer and into the pasture before unhooking the lead ropes to allow them to run loose in the pasture. Yami was next and he led Dark Magician and Gracey out of the trailer and led them into the pasture. Then Roy led Colonel and Hawkeye out into the pasture while Sesshomaru brought out Taishou and Windy as Inuyasha brought out Entei and Priestess, the three men led the six horses into the pasture and allowed them to run loose in the pasture with the others. They hung the leads on the gate and fastened it behind them. Koga again parked the trailer beside the pasture before the guys loaded back in the back of the truck while Steel Fang followed the truck back up to the cabin where the girls were waiting for them. When they reached the cabin Koga parked his truck beside the bus and they all got out, retrieved their bags and made their way into the cabin while Steel Fang and Black Hayate lay on the porch to keep guard.
