5:49pm

Only seventeen, long minutes to go.

Having a teeny-tiny small crush on a beautiful, long-legged blonde that came in only once a week, and barely had chance to flirt with me before she was leaving again, definitely was not part of my better choices.

Santana Lopez did not do crushes, and definitely not crushes that turned me into a stuttering mess with absolutely zero game.

Well, that was until those damn eyes.

A fluttering of butterflies woke up in my stomach at just the thought of those sparkling blue eyes that have started to have a permanent residency in my dreams. I glanced over at the clock above the stage and rolled my eyes.

5:53pm

"Santana, if you don't stop looking at that damn clock, I'll-"

"What, Lady Hummel, please enlighten me?" I snapped, but felt my cheeks heating up from getting caught daydreaming and I could feel my eyes shooting a defensive glare at Kurt as he laughed and shoved me behind the bar.

Even Kurt knew the routine now.

"It's embarrassing how much you like her," Kurt ignored my comment and looked at me sympathetically which only added to my sudden rage at being caught daydreaming, again.

Ignoring Kurt's blatant attempt to ruffle up my Snix feathers, which he was clearly an expert at now, I distracted myself by turning to a customer. Placing on my best smile, "what can I get for you?" I asked the young man, and he smirked instantly.

An uneasy feeling spread in my body when he leaned forward with his elbows on the bar, I sucked in a breath and looked to Kurt, only to find that he had disappeared and left me alone at the bar. "How about a bit of you, sexy?" I gagged instantly and moved to slap his hand away when he tried to reach for my face.

"I don't think so," I rolled my eyes and tried to remain professional as he scoffed.

"No offence but you ain't all that anyway!" He lifted his hand dismissively, as if to wave me away from him, and that's when I remembered who I am, and where I am.

"Oh but see, that's where you are wrong," I sneered, all thoughts of professionalism leaving my body as Snix slowly took over. As I took a step closer to the guy threateningly, my old HBIC cheerio personality arising slowly, and crossed my arms threateningly, the guy began visibly shrinking on his stool. "Do you know who I am? My name is Santana Lopez, douchebag, ever heard of me?"

His eyes widened, "Y-you're.."

I chuckled and playfully lifted my hand to wave him away from me, "now get the hell out my club."

The guy scrambled to stand up, pushing his empty glass in front of me, and headed towards the exit of the club. I watched with amusement as he disappeared and then slowly looked around to see blue eyes looking right at me.

My breathing hitched and my eyes instinctively darted to the clock.

6.13pm

Fuck.

How long has she been here?

I looked back at her with flushed cheeks, and she slowly approached the bar with a smirk playing on her lips. "That was really hot," she told me, and my heart raced when she continued to eye me, trailing her eyes across my entire body.

"T-thanks" I stuttered, embarrassed and flustered and completely unnaturally shy and un-Santana-like under her intense stare. This woman has me breathless with one look and by her teasing smirk and giggling, she knew it too.

"You really are, all that, you know." She added innocently with a shrug of her shoulders, climbing up onto the bar stool in front of me.

"I know," I grinned jokingly, and she threw her head back with a laugh. Her laugh was infectious and I could feel myself smiling at her bashfully. "Y-You have a beautiful smile" I told her. Her eyes sparkled and she bit her lip, just silently looking at me for a few seconds and I instantly wondered if I had been too forward with her. "S-sorry," I whispered shyly.

The woman shook her head, "you have nothing to be sorry for." That familiar beaming smile was back on her lips and I was melting at the sight.

Okay, maybe it wasn't just a teeny tiny crush.

Maybe it was a huge ass crush on this woman, yet she has been coming into the club every Friday night to flirt with me shamelessly for two months now and I still didn't even know her name.

I frowned at the thought, "what's your name?" I asked her suddenly and she chuckled.

"Brittany" she told me, and a warmth spread across my body at the sound.

Brittany. I repeated the name in my mind as my eyes scanned her face subconsciously, taking in all of her like it was the first time seeing her all over again, and appreciating her that much more, appreciating Brittany that much more. "I like it, it suits you" I winked at her confidently, feeling a little more comfortable as each second passed and continued our intense eye-contact.

She was so fucking beautiful, it was insane. Like the kind of beautiful you only wish to grow up to either be, or be with.

"Are you gonna get me a drink, or just stare at me all night?" Brittany asked me after a few moments with an amused grin and I rolled my eyes. What was it with people calling me out on my Brittany daydreaming tonight?

"Whatever, Britt-Britt" I sang playfully, trying to cover up my flustered cheeks. "Do you want the usual or you want to spice things up today?"

Brittany chuckled again and leaned her chin on her hands with her elbows resting on the bar. Her eyes suddenly dropped to my lips, and I could feel myself naturally licking them, before she looked back up into my eyes. "Do you think that I should spice things up today?" She asked me quietly, almost seductively, and my throat closed up immediately.

She was flirting with m again, and whilst flirting with people was normally what I was best at, flirting with Brittany is something completely different. "I-if that's what you want…" See?

Brittany brought her fingers to my arm and slowly trailed them down, my body automatically shuddering and my eyes closing when her fingertips ghosted across my skin. "You pick for me" Brittany told me and I opened my eyes when the feeling of her hand left my body.

"Are you sure you can handle it?" I found myself flirting back with her cautiously, like I was testing the water and seeing if I should just fuck it and dive straight in.

Brittany nodded, biting her lip and making my knees go weak at the same time. "I'm sure I can handle anything from you," the confidence sucked the air out of my lungs and I gulped at her low voice. Brittany was practically purring at me and she was leaning so far into me that I would probably take a peek down her ridiculously sexy shirt, that's if my mind wasn't so fuzzy from Brittany's flirting.

"We'll see about that, Britt-Britt," I managed to croak out and then cleared my throat, turning to the liquor and beginning to pour a couple of different drinks into the cocktail mixer. Brittany's eyes burned into me, following every movement I made.

"God, you're so sexy" she breathed as I shook the mixer and looked her in the eyes. Her jaw was dropped open slightly and I smirked at her reaction.

I emptied the contents into a glass before topping it with some whipped cream and a few mini marshmallows. Brittany licked her lips as I placed it in front of her, noticing the way her eyes lit up.

"Yummy" she giggled, "it looks like a unicorn."

"Imma call it the Britt-Britt special" I joked, my eyes dropping to her mouth as she swiped at the whipped cream with her index finger and brought it to her lips. Brittany swirled her tongue around the cream before taking the end of her finger into her more to suck off the rest before releasing it with a small smack of her lips.

"You're gonna name a drink after me, is that like allowed?" Brittany raised her eyebrows, and I chucked at her adorable enthusiasm.

"I own the place, I can do whatever the fuck I want" I shrugged and her eyes widened, she stared at me in shock. "What?"

"You really are Santana Lopez" she whispered.

"Yeah," I replied softly, a bit nervous at her sudden shyness, "I thought you knew that?"

She shook her head and then relaxed when I sent her a soft smile. "If you're Santana Lopez, then what the hell are you doing serving me a drink?"

I looked at her through fluttering lashes, "how else was I supposed to talk to you, Britt-Britt?"

"She was fucking giggling, Rachel! Like full on school-girl crush, giggling!"

"Santana Lopez giggling? Are we even on the same planet anymore? Maybe she really did sell her soul to the devil-"

Kurt cracked up beside me and I huffed in annoyance at the Olsen twins once again distracting me from my work, picking up the cushion closest to me and throwing it at Rachel. "If you didn't make me so much money then I'd fire both of your annoying asses."

"Don't listen to her, Rach, she's just grouchy because it's been a whole six days since she's had her Brittany fix!" Kurt continued laughing, obviously he has become more immune to my meaningless threats these days.

"I'm not grouchy, Lady Hummel, I'd just appreciate if you kept your sapphic match making comments to yourself." I closed my laptop and turned to look at the both of them, "is there a reason why the both of you are in my office and not out performing?"

"Marley's out there so we thought that we would give our bestie some company for a bit," Rachel shrugged casually and I nodded slowly in suspicion, watching as a familiar mischievous smirk played on Rachel's face.

"Alright Hobbit, spill" I said, looking between Rachel and Kurt with my eyebrows raised, "I know you two didn't come up here to force me into a big gay friendly catch up, what do you want?"

Kurt nudged Rachel and I wanted to slap the snarky smile from his elfish face. "Well, we were just out front minding our own business, working, when we noticed a familiar blonde looking rather lonely and we knew that we had to come and tell you." It took me a few moments before I realised what he had said, and I scrambled to jump up.

"B-Brittany?" I asked them, "S-she's here? But it's a Thursday afternoon, she never comes here on a Thursday!"

"Duh, now go get your bitch ass down there and see why she's here!" I nodded in agreement, my mind racing with different scenarios. All of the confidence in me jumped straight out of the window because Brittany being here, on a Thursday, was not what I was prepared for.

As I walked down from my office to the front of the club, I mentally prepared myself and took several deep breaths to calm my nerves. I could feel my heart beating in my ears and fumbled with my hands when I spotted her sitting at the usual stool she occupied by the bar.

I made an instant bee-line towards her with a beaming smile and as I approached her, she looked up at me. "Brittany…" I breathed out, taking my usual space behind the bar and staring up at her.

"Hey" Brittany replied, her eyes slowly searching my face and dropping down quickly, before she was giving me such intense eye contact that it sent a wave of goosebumps across my arms. Her cheeks were rosy and her lips parted, "my day sucked so I thought that I'd come see you to cheer myself up."

An adorably sad pout was on her face and I lifted my thumb to brush against her bottom lip instinctively, "you are so cute" I mumbled. Brittany licked her lip when I moved my hand away quickly when realising I was touching her lips and her blush deepened, "I'm sorry you've had a bad day. Do you want a drink?"

Brittany nodded gratefully, "Please. You pick," she told me with a wink.

"Anything for you" I flirted back with a giggle and turned to mix her a cocktail. Just like every time, she watched me closely with hooded eyes. I filled the glass with the glittery yellow drink, adding a few yellow candies into the top, and passed it to her with a smile. "Your sunshine on a rainy day, Britt-Britt" I told her and she chuckled.

"What would I do without you?" She asked me playfully and dropped one of the candies into her mouth slowly.

I scrunched my nose up, my cheeks flushing red, and I cleared my throat a little at the butterflies from her comment. "You want to come up to my office and we can talk about your day? I don't like the thought of you being sad." Brittany grinned and was nodding her head in an instant, "you can bring your drink, Sunshine."

Brittany silently grabbed her glass with a shy expression, and I reached down for her free hand with my own to lead her through to the door behind the bar. "Woah.." Brittany sighed in awe as we walked down the hallway, leading Brittany past the rehearsal studios and the dressing rooms, where dancers were running in and out, before reaching my office at the end.

"Let's sit dow-" I stop myself when noticing the two people still laid across my couch reading magazines. "What the fuck are you two still doing here? Get out" I snapped with annoyance, feeling myself get instantly agitated when noticing them looking between Brittany and I slowly.

"Oh, you have company!" Rachel started, "Hi! I'm Rachel and this is Kurt!" Kurt waved sheepishly, his eyes darting from Rachel and the between me and Brittany, then back to Rachel. "It's so nice to meet you, Santana alway-" Rachel continues until I effectively cut her off.

"Rachel Berry if you continue that fucking sentence, so God help you because I will not even think about unleashing Snix so fast you won't even have time to say goodbye to your Barbra Streisand collection."

Rachel nodded furiously and Kurt just pushed her off of the couch when she grumbled under her breath. "No need go to the yelling place." She told me with a roll of her eyes, "a simple "please could you leave Rachel" would have been fine."

I shrugged as they gathered their lunch, "I have rage and if I don't express it then I'll probably turn into super Snix and you don't want that. Bye-bye" I closed the door behind my two sad excuses of best friends, and turned to Brittany apologetically. Brittany just laughed and looked at me with amusement.

"You're funny" she told me, and I blushed at the compliment and just motioned for her to sit down on the now empty couch. "This place is amazing, no wonder it's the best in New York," she told me as she sat down beside me.

"I think the contrast to being here during the day to being here at night is what makes people love it so much. A classy and prestigious live longe by day and sexy night club by night." I told her truthfully, "Plus, I love performing and music."

Brittany pouted suddenly, "me too," her voice was almost a whisper as she looked down at the glass in her hand before taking a long gulp. "This is good" she added softly, "my new favourite- you're always outdoing yourself!"

"Why's a face so pretty looking so sad? That should be a crime, who do I need to beat up?" I asked her playfully with a nudge of my shoulder, trying to get her to smile and drop that sad looking pout. My heart tightened at seeing the usually bubbly blonde so upset and I wanted to make everything better.

She cracked a small grin, her eyes meeting mine briefly, before she shook her head and dropped them to her hands again. "I've been trying so hard to think of a new dance routine for my dance class, but I've had a mental block for weeks now! It's so un-like me, and it's driving me crazy and my instructors been on my ass about it for days. I've been at the studio for hours and nothing is good enough and this routine is important."

She's a dancer, that makes perfect sense.

With a soft smile I take the glass from her hands and set it down on the table before wiggling closer to her, placing my hands on her forearms and rubbing them comfortingly until she looked up. "Britt, I'm sure you'll think of it. Please don't let this stress you out so much, it'll happen, and it'll be amazing." I spoke confidently, truly believing that Brittany could probably do anything and it would be amazing.

Brittany had such a special aura, a natural glow around her that just screamed "I'm the kindest person on earth and I have the face of a fucking angel." It was hard not to believe that she could do anything, and from the way I have observed her carrying herself so effortlessly and graceful, I already just knew that she was a good dancer.

"How do you know that?" She asked me, looking at me with a small shrug.

"Maybe you just need some inspiration!" I suggested with some encouragement, squeezing her arms and smiling.

Brittany matched my smile, "maybe I've been looking in the wrong places for it." I blushed when she winked, and she added, "are you going to be here on Saturday?"

"I'm always here" I shrugged, and she giggled, "are you going to be here on Saturday?" I repeated the question to her.

Brittany smirked, "how else am I going to get my inspiration, Santana?"

Fuck.

Wait. "You'll still be here tomorrow, too, though right?"

"Of course. Wouldn't miss our Friday date night for the world" she joked, reaching for her glass and gulping the remainder of the drink.

This woman is going to be the death of me.

Dragging myself into the club on a Saturday, our busiest night, didn't feel half as bad as usual when I knew that I would be seeing Brittany. Typically, I'd stroll in not long before closing time to check up on how Kurt and Rachel were handling things, have a few drinks and then leave again. But, knowing that Brittany was going to be coming, I was walking through the doors before the club was even full.

As I scanned the setting of my second home, noticing Kurt by the stage, I made my way to him. "You about to go on?" I asked him, noticing the girls who were all wearing matching black lingerie, dismantling from the poles on the stage and heading back to the dressing rooms.

He nodded, "Rachel bailed about ten minutes ago when she noticed Finn chatting up a girl at the entrance booth. Gone to drown her sorrows at the bar" he told me, motioning to the bar stool where Rachel was taking a shot.

I rolled my eyes, "if she ends up in another gossip magazine drunk out her ass then I'm not responsible for damage control this time. That's all on you, lady lips."

Kurt chuckled, "hopefully they'll be no drunken cat fights tonight. I reckon she'll be passed out in your office within the hour." I hoped he was right, because there is no way I would be so forgiving if Rachel made me miss out on spending time with Brittany because she can't control her boyfriend.

"Want me to fill in for you? I'm in the mood for an impromptu performance to calm my nerves." I asked him, wanting to pass some time, as I glanced at the clock and noticed that Brittany probably wouldn't turn up for a while.

"A performance from THE Santana Lopez? You don't have to ask me twice, girl!" He excitedly clapped his hands and made a motion to the stage.

"None of that Broadway shit, save that for Berry and her heartbreak tomorrow. Let's get this crowd in the motherfuckin' zone!" I told him with a smirk, "this is how you entertain a crowd, Kurtie." Before Kurt could comment on his hatred of the nickname, I pressed play on Beyoncé's "Yoncé" and watched as his annoyed scowl turned into a chuckle when I winked at him.

I took the mic of him and slipped it around my ear, "let's get some sexiness up in this bitch!" I shouted, successfully getting all eyes on me and a loud cheer. I didn't perform too much at the club like I used to, so the customers that attended appreciated it that much more when it happened, especially the regulars.

I knew that I looked sexy. I had black thigh high boots on, and a short black skirt with a lacy bralet covering my chest, well, somewhat covering my chest and leaving very little to the imagination. My hair was curled and my make up looking in flawless condition, Sue's many years of ensuring that I look immaculate at all times showing its long lasting effect. I could only hope that Brittany thought I looked sexy, too.

With that last thought of a beautiful blonde and my body buzzing with self-confidence, I began performing. The rush of excitement I felt when performing never ceased to make me feel at home.

"Let me hear you say, "Hey, Ms. Lopez!" I teased the crowed, giggling when they screamed it back.

"Say, "Hey, Ms. Lopez!" I repeated, giving a knowing look to Kurt as he shook his head with a laugh. He knew that my performances these days were rare, but he definitely enjoyed them just as much as the crowd did. "Give me some!"

See me up in the club with fifty-'leven girls

Posted in the back, diamond fangs in my grill

Brooklyn brim with my eyes sitting low

Every boy in here with me got that smoke

Every girl in here got to look me up and down

All on Instagram, cake by the pound

Circulate the image every time I come around

G's up, tell me how I'm looking, babe

My body swayed to the beat and I moved around the stage slowly as I sang, lingering on the pole and holding it with two hands and rolling my head backwards slowly. My hips rolled against the pole, grinding ever so slightly, before I turned around to face the crowd, and began sliding my back down it in the sexiest way I knew how.

I smirked a little, remembering that fight Rachel and I had back in high school and she told me that the only job I would have in the future would be working on a pole. Guess she was right. Except, she is also working on the same poles.

Girl, this all for you just walk my way

Just tell me how it's looking, babe

Just tell me how it's looking, babe

(How it's looking, babe?)

I do this all for you, baby, just take aim

And tell me how it's looking babe

(How it's looking, babe?)

Tell me how it's looking babe, looking babe

As I danced around the pole, looking at the customers and working them up in the best and sexiest way that I could, my eyes found widened blue sparkling orbs.

When did she get here?

Drop the bass, man the bass, the bass get lower

Radio say "Speed it up", I just go slower

High like treble, pumping on the mids

Ya girl ain't ever seen a booty like this

And why you think ya keep my name rolling off the tongue

'Cause when she wanna smash, I'll just write another one

I sneezed on the beat and the beat got sicker

Yoncé all on her mouth like liquor

With a now-found confidence at seeing Brittany watching me with a completely dazed expression, wide eyes and a dropped jaw, I slowly walked over to the pole closest to where she stood. My eyes remained connected to hers as I sang, my body working instinctively, like I was suddenly dancing only for her.

Brittany licked her lips and trailed her eyes quickly across my body, but I kept mine on her face to watch her expressions change as I performed.

She was frozen and I giggled as I sang, before covering it up by turning around, dropping my ass and shaking it to the beat. I looked at her with a teasing smirk over my shoulder, blowing her a kiss, and reaching up to hold the pole with one hand.

I waited for a second until her blue eyes locked with mine right before the last verse, holding onto the pole and slowly dropping into the splits. Brittany's cheeks were rosy as she silently watched me, and I don't think somebody has ever made me feel so sexy without even saying anything.

Yoncé all on her mouth like liquor

Yoncé all on her mouth like liquor

Yoncé all on her mouth like liquor

Like, like liquor, like, like, like liquor

Yoncé all on her mouth like liquor

Yoncé all on her mouth like liquor

Yoncé all on her mouth like liquor

Like, like liquor, like, like, like liquor

"Give it up for Santana Lopez aka Snix herself!" I barely registered Kurt's voice speaking into the microphone as I smiled into the crowd, looking right at Brittany, and quickly handed him my earpiece without a word. The dancers were coming back out and the DJ took over, "What are you still doing here, go to her! You just practically eye-fucked her the entire performance, if I wasn't gay I would be turned on just from watching the both of you!"

Kurt pushed me in Brittany's direction, as I just continued to stare at her across the room, and soon enough my feet started working again and I was directly in front of her.

"S-Santana…" she trailed off as I approached her, and I noticed how deep blue her eyes looked and how her lips parted ever so slightly when she stopped talking.

"Normally I'm the one that's stuttering" I laughed, and her cheeks flushed.

"That was the sexiest thing I have ever seen in my life!" Brittany whispered, her eyes dropping to my lips before she cleared her throat and her playful smirk was back. "You weren't kidding when you said I was looking in the wrong place for inspiration," she spoke more confidently as she looked down at me.

Despite the confidence boost that performance had just given me, this was Brittany, and now I'm the one who was blushing under her intense stare. She took a step closer to me, putting her hands on my hips suddenly and pulled me further into the crowd on the dance floor.

Our bodies were basically flush together at this point, and I could feel her breath on my lips and I practically whimpered at her being so close to me.

She was wearing a short white dress with heels, and with my outfit choice, 75% of our skin was uncovered and the majority of it was touching. The feeling of her skin touching mine set me on fire and I was dizzy for a second until her hand came to rest on my lower back and she was giggling.

"What?" I whispered, still hazily focussed on not passing out from having Brittany so close.

"I like this." She told me, and my eyes opened to see her smiling at me softly. If I could fall in love based off a smile, it would be that smile. My heart fluttered at the look of adoration and lust in her eyes, and I was smiling back at her bashfully.

My arms finally moved to bring her closer, wrapping around her shoulders. "I like it too," I agreed, my brain catching up and becoming cooperative to the situation. "You know, I could give you a bit more inspiration, if you wanted?"

Brittany visibly gulped and I chuckled, my fingertips teasingly dancing across the exposed skin on the back of her neck and across her jaw.

"You look really beautiful tonight" I whispered, and her face softened, before I reached down and grabbed her hand to spin her around, pulling her back into my front. She shivered and I leaned to rest my chin on her shoulder, thankful of my decision to wear such high heeled boots, and nuzzled my face into her neck.

"Santana…" Brittany gasped as our hips began moving to the song, and my fingers dug into her hips as she swayed against me perfectly. I rolled my hips into her teasingly and Brittany turned around instantly, locking her arms around my neck.

She was smirking again, and by now I've learned that this particular Brittany smirk meant that she was getting ready to flirt. I licked my lips in anticipation and before I knew it our foreheads were resting together as we danced.

Brittany's hands trailed at a teasingly slow pace across my body, sending a rush of heat to my core and I took a sharp breath to steady myself. Her touches were delicate but needy at the same time, and she was soon taking control and gripping my waist steadily.

"If you keep dancing with me like this, the only inspiration that I'm going to get is from the bedroom," her voice was raspy and I paused, stunned at her comment and messed up the rhythm that we had going on. Brittany laughed, "we can play this teasing game forever, you know I like to play dirty, Lopez!"

"Wanky" I managed to croak out, my legs suddenly feeling uncomfortable and I licked my lips.

"Can you just kiss me?" Brittany asked, and fuck, she really didn't not need to ask me that twice.

I've been waiting months for this moment, to kiss Brittany, and somehow even though I have imagined this moment endless times, my expectations somehow managed to be exceeded.

Because now I could feel it, too, and it felt so good that I never wanted to stop.

My hands moved up her sides and I cupped her cheeks in my hand gently, and I kissed Brittany with everything I had to offer. Her lips fit with mine seemingly perfect, like this was something we had practiced every night before bed, and I gasped as my whole body melted against her.

Brittany was definitely the best kisser, and I was moaning into her mouth as her tongue swiped at my lips then swirled against mine effortlessly. Her hands dropped from my lower back to the curve of my ass, pulling me into her as my arms dropped from her cheeks to hang over her shoulders as our kisses continued.

I was completely lost in her, a first kiss with somebody had never felt so good.

When I sadly lost my internal fight to breathe with my lungs, I breathlessly pulled away and immediately pouted at the loss of contact. Kissing Brittany made me feel so alive, and it was intoxicating. That also probably had something to do with her usual pineapple and rum that I could taste on lips, or the handful of shots I took with Kurt and Rachel up in my office before the club layover earlier, now that I'm thinking about it.

Brittany's lips didn't stop moving though, and they made me feel more drunk than any amount of alcohol ever has. Each part of my skin they grazed over tingled and heated up, my breath getting caught in my throat as she trailed her kisses across my cheek and to that spot just below my ear.

"That was the best, I love your sweet lady kisses," Brittany whispered into my ear with a giggle and pulled away to look at me. Her eyelids were hooded and her deep blue orbs were glazed over, a clear mix between being turned on and being tipsy. "Can't wait for more."

"Brittany…" I whispered, and gave into my temptations. My hands brought her into me again and her lips were back on hers, softer but more intimate and I'm sure that last kiss killed me because I feel like I'm floating with this second one.

"Ladies, I hate to break up this insanely hot sapphic love-fest that you've got going on here right in the middle of the dance floor-" I jumped away from Brittany and looked to Kurt with a glare.

"Can't you see I'm busy?" I whined, my lip involuntarily jutting out at being interrupted when I'm finally getting my sweet lady kisses on with Brittany, something I have been waiting months for- Kurt knew that!

"Rachel's been crying at the bar to Marley and I for the past forty five minutes about how she's going to die alone because Finn doesn't love her, while you've been over here practically dry-humping Brittany on the dance floor!" Kurt complained, then looked from me to Brittany quickly, "nice to see you again by the way! Glad to see you two finally grew some lady balls, but right now, I need you to put it back in your pants and help me get her out of here!"

Brittany and I had been dancing for forty-five minutes? I thought that we were only dancing for one song, but I guess being around Brittany only made time stop still for just me, not for everybody else, too. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, and looked to Kurt with my head tilted.

He pointed towards Rachel, who was sobbing and lifting another shot glass, and I sighed in annoyance. "What's in it for me?" I asked him, my arms still stayed around Brittany to keep her close as I weighed my options.

Kurt raised his eyebrow, "being a good friend?"

"You wanna carry on, Britt-Britt?" I turned back to Brittany and he sighed.

"What do you want, Satan?"

I chuckled and licked my lips, "the keys to your parents lake house to take Brittany on a date."

Brittany turned to me with a bashful smile and it distracted me from my conversation with Kurt for a moment as she asked quietly, "you want to take me on a date?"

I smiled at her softly, "of course I do." Brittany sucked in a breath and nodded shyly when I kissed her cheek and turned back to Kurt with raised eyebrows.

He groaned and nodded, "deal."

I looked at Brittany, "want to help haul Rachel's ass to my office?"

Brittany laughed and shrugged, "sounds like fun."

The next time I saw Brittany, she wasn't alone like she normally was. Another blonde woman was sitting beside her, laughing along to something Brittany was telling her.

I subconsciously pouted when I felt my heart race, and not in the usual lesbian-panicky way that it usually did around Brittany, but in the "who the fuck is this sitting so close to my Britt-Britt?" way.

As I watched them, lingering at the side of the stage towards the back of the club, I contemplated whether to go and take my usual Friday night six o clock position behind the bar. "It could be her sister, they do look a bit similar," I jumped a little when Rachel creeped up beside me, and shook my head at her briefly, before turning my attention back to Brittany and this mysterious new blonde.

"Just because they are both blonde doesn't mean they are related, Berry. That's just like me saying you look like Hagrid because you're both brunette, which actually is sort of true right now! You're a hot mess." I snapped, knowingly taking my jealous rage out on Rachel, but continued anyway and added, "plus they look nothing alike, look at her!" Rachel frowned at my harsh tone and I sighed, feeling a tad guilty at lashing out on her. "Sorry, look, this is all new to me and I'm honestly freaking out a little. What if she found someone better?"

Rachel's hurt look had disappeared as her expression softened, and she tapped the spot beside her at the edge of the stage. I rolled my eyes and sat next to her, but avoided looking at her and instead focused on my hands that were nervously wringing together in my lap.

"If eighteen year old Santana could see you right now, she would slap you" Rachel commented, and my eyes widened in shock before darting up to catch her shaking her head with a smirk. "Do I need to remind you who you are?" She asked, "You're Santana Lopez! You own and created the best and most known place for performers in New York, Santana! Successful business woman, smoking hot and a really great friend… Brittany would be silly to pass up a chance with you and you need to show her that!"

I looked at Rachel with a playful grin, "you have a crush on me, Berry? Because that is probably the nicest thing you've ever said to me."

Rachel rolled her eyes, "you always ruin the moment."

Chuckling, I brought her into a quick hug, "Thanks Rachel, you know, you really do deserve somebody that makes you happy." Rachel nodded sadly and I squeezed her hand, "let him go. You know I can fire his ass so fast, you deserve better."

"I know" she sighed, looking over at Finn in the booth letting people into the club, before turning back to me. "It's not that easy, we're all each other has known since high school" Rachel told me and I gave her a pointed look.

"Which is why he should know better than to give you a reason to go crazy," I laughed and then turned more serious, "Rach, he takes you for granted because he knows that you'll always fall back on each other. You need to live life without him for a while and if it's seriously meant to be, then you'll find your way back together. You're both completely different from high school, how else do you think I can handle being around you everyday?"

"When you're not filled with sarcasm, you're really good at giving advice… maybe Brittany really is the one to tame Snix?" Rachel grinned obnoxiously.

My attention was brought back to Brittany, who was glancing behind the bar again, before she continued with her conversation. "You really think so?" I asked her quietly, "I can't stop thinking about kissing her."

Rachel laughed, "she has you wrapped around her finger! Stop being such a jealous baby and go to her, she's obviously wondering where you are. I've seen her look at the bar about five times and her drink is still full… she's looking for you!"

Biting my lip, I nodded furiously, "okay, yeah. Psst- I can do this. I'm Santana Lopez!"

"Yes you are girl! Now go!" She clapped excitedly.

I rolled my eyes at her always ever so dramatic behaviour as she pushed me in the direction of the bar with my head held high. As I approached her, flashbacks from our kiss rushed through my brain at full speed, and I subconsciously licked my lips when she noticed me appearing behind the bar.

"Hey, I've been waiting for you" she pouted and I smiled at her softly.

"Sorry to keep you waiting. Rachel sucked me into girl-talk, which surprisingly didn't want to make me bleach my ears." Brittany giggled, and I lifted my hand to gently stroke across her cheek, tucking the loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"You care about her, admit it," Brittany told me.

"She's kind of like the sister I never wanted but got anyway, but she also makes me want to cut my eyes with razor blades every time she opens her mouth." I spoke with sarcasm and finished with a nonchalant shrug making Brittany snigger. "Enough of the Hobbit, it's my weekly Britt-Britt time" I teased her, winking with a big grin.

"Oh! I actually can't stay today" she pouted and motioned towards the other blonde that I had completely forgotten about. I mimicked her expression with disappointment and folded my arms across my chest, unintentionally glaring at the other woman who rose her eyebrows in amusement at us. "Don't make that face" Brittany giggled, leaning in to quickly kiss my lips.

The sudden feeling of her lips on mine, completely sober and unable to blame the dizziness on alcohol, made me breathless and Brittany was pulling away as quickly as she leaned in. "But it's Friday date night!" I whined as she pulled at my arms to uncross them from my chest. I know that I was being a bit unreasonable and silly, but Brittany and I have never missed a Friday since meeting each other. It's become like an unspoken tradition between us.

"I know! I'm sorry, San" Brittany told me softly. "I don't want to cancel but we have to go for dinner with my parents. I managed to delay it for a while so I could come and see you before."

I blushed at her comment, "you're so cute. I guess that's okay, I'll just have to make somebody else drinks tonight then."

She batted my arm, "Santana!"

"I'm kidding, why, are you jealous?"

"Just like you were when you were glaring at Quinn?"

I huffed, "touché, Britt-Britt!" She giggled and I turned to finally acknowledge Quinn with a shy smile, "so you really are her sister? God, Rachel is going to have my ass if she was actually right."

Quinn chuckled and shook her head, "we grew up together since babies, so practically sisters, but not really." I gave her a genuine smile, and she turned to Brittany, "Britt come on, your parents are going to kill me if we're any later! She told them that I was running late so we could come here on the way because she just had to see you today. You should have seen how pissed she was when they announced a family dinner on a Friday!"

Brittany nudged Quinn harshly as her cheeks twinged red and I giggled. "Quinn, shut up!" Brittany grumbled, her eyes avoiding mine.

My heart raced at the information Quinn had given me, and a grin formed on my lips when I saw how embarrassed Brittany had gotten. I reached for her hands and slowly began making circles on her soft skin with my fingers until she looked back at me.

"How about you give me your number and I can take you on that date that I promised you? How does tomorrow sound?"

Brittany grinned with excitement and I couldn't help but match it, "what about the club?"

"Baby, I make the rules here, I can do what I want!"She laughed, and I shrugged my shoulders, "plus Kurt still totally owes me for dumping us with Rachel's drunk ass last Saturday. So, what'd you say Britt-Britt? Will you go on a date with me?"

"I'd love to go on a date with you, Santana."

As I pulled up into the driveway to Burt and Carole's lake-house cabin, I glanced to the side to see Brittany staring out the window with awe. Her mouth dropped open slightly and her eyes wide with wonder, she looked so beautiful.

"This is so pretty, San, I didn't even know that New York had places like this!" She gasped, turning to me and leaning in to kiss my cheek as I parked the car and turned to face her. "Thank you for bringing me here," Brittany grinned and I winked at her.

"Wait till you see the rest!" I told her and she bounced excitedly, I reached over into the back to grab our bags before jumping out over the car and walking around to help her out.

Brittany beamed at me and took my free hand I offered to her, "oh man, I'm so excited!" She giggled and bounced on her toes.

"Come on before you pee your pants!" I laughed and guided her up the steps to the door and dropped her hand to slip in the key. When I opened the door, the familiar rich wooden smell filled my nostrils and I closed my eyes momentarily as I was thrown back into my teenage years. "It's so good being back here! You're gonna love it!" I told her with excitement, dropping the bags by the door and pulling her in with me.

She glanced around the cosy interior and was grinning at me widely when her eyes caught mine, "Kurt's parents own this place?" She questioned, almost in disbelief.

I giggled with a nod, "yeah, we used to come here all of the time in high school and when we first moved to New York together. Then when things got really busy with the club, we didn't really have time to come up here as often anymore."

"That's sad, I would live here forever if I could!" I laughed at her as she pouted sadly.

"Do you want me to show you more?" Brittany nodded quickly and I grabbed her hand in mine again, leading her through the open plan kitchen and living room, to the master bedroom. "This is where we will be staying!"

"Woah!" She gasped, looking around the room.

The king-sized, four-poster wooden bed sat in the middle of the room, opposite the glass sliding doors that overlooked the lake and the trees. Everything in the room was natural, wooden and plants were hanging across the walls that gave the room such a calming atmosphere.

"This is the bed of my dreams!" She mumbled, throwing herself onto the bed and face-planting it.

I laughed loudly at her and mimicked her, only falling down a little more gracefully than she did. Brittany turned into her side, resting her head on her hand as she propped herself up on her elbow. She gave me that flirty smile and grabbed my waist, pulling me closer to her and nuzzling her nose against mine softly as our foreheads instinctively leaned together.

"I can't believe you brought me here! This is freaking crazy, San!" She whispered, and I smiled at her softly, closing the small distance between us and giving her lips a soft kiss.

I couldn't resist her, being so close, she was like a magnet pulling me in and I couldn't stop it. I didn't want to stop it, because kissing Brittany is definitely my new favourite thing to do. After forcing myself to not get so far lost in the kiss, I gave her addictive lips a few more soft pecks, before pulling back with a smirk. "I'm crazy for you, though," I told her and she bit her lip to stop herself from grinning too big.

"Santana…" she whined, "you can't stop kissing me and then say things like that because it just makes me wanna kiss you again!"

"Brittany!" I gasped when she scooped her hand under my thigh and pulled my leg over her, effectively bringing me on top of her as she laid back into the bed. She smirked up at me and before I could process anything, our lips were crashing together again.

My hands ran across her neck and collarbones as her fingers wrapped around my hair, pulling me as close to her as possible, while our kisses turned from smooth and gentle, to fast and needy. The more I kissed Brittany, the more I wanted of her, and I couldn't get enough.

I was faintly aware of my hips rocking into hers as she trailed her hands down my back to smooth over my ass, guiding me into her, and I moaned softly against her mouth. Brittany giggled, her lips going straight for my neck, "Britt…" I sighed, and she licked from my pulse point to my ear.

"Hmm?" She hummed into my neck, sending shivers down through my body, and her lips were back on mine and now, Brittany was sighing a breathless moan into the kiss.

"I haven't even shown you the best bit yet!" I managed to mumble when she lost the rhythm slightly through her moan.

"Oh I think you definitely have!" She flirted through a small laugh, her deep eyes fluttering open and staring right at me. My breath hitched and I could feel my chest tightening at all of the intense emotions in my body, my head falling to rest on Brittany's shoulder as I let my weight fall onto her.

She wrapped her arms securely around my waist and I smiled when I felt her lips pressing softly to the side of my face. "We haven't even been here for an hour and we're already getting our sweet lady kisses on," I eventually spoke, giggling at little and my cheeks flushing when the last thirty minutes finally registered in my brain and the dizziness began fading away.

Brittany giggled too, and I rolled off of her body and stood up, pulling her with me. "Wouldn't have it any other way, this date is pretty amazing so far, San!" She told me, her happiness shining in her eyes, and I relaxed as she motioned for the door, "how about we get back to that tour?"

Keeping her hand in mine, I giddily took Brittany back through the living room to the back of the house. "You're gonna love this!" I told her, sliding open the patio doors to reveal my favourite part about the house. The decking was laid perfectly, the sound of the water from the lake creating an instant peaceful atmosphere once you stepped out of the house, finalised with a cosy fire pit and a hot tub.

I turned to Brittany, watching her expressions change as she took in the new view. "Oh my God! This is insane!" She gasped, pulling my arm softly as she walked over to the edge of the decking and closer to the lake.

"It's like another world here, right?" I giggled, happy that she seemed to be enjoying this as much as I do whenever I come here.

She nodded, "I think we're gonna have to do Kurt a lot of favours in the future because we definitely have to come back here again!"

I smiled and stepped closer to her as she leaned against the fencing at the edge of the decking, "I'll bring you here whenever you want, Britt-Britt. I can just tie him up and swipe the keys!" Brittany laughed and hit my arm lightly, shaking her head. "What do you want to do first?"

"Hot tub? Then we can make dinner and eat at the fire pit?" She asked cutely, her head tilted to she side as she looked at me hopefully.

"Whatever you want. I'm already ready under my clothes but you can go and change in the bedroom and I'll quickly set it up for us." Brittany nodded and quickly kissed my cheek before skipping away back into the house.

As I watched her for a few seconds before she disappeared, my heart raced, knowing that Brittany is going to be more revealed to me than ever before, both physically and emotionally. Bringing Brittany here on this date gave us the opportunity to grow that much closer and solidify the connection that has been growing and bubbling to its full potential for months now.

My feelings for Brittany grow every time I see her, and even on the days that I don't, I find the strong emotions intensifying at just the thought of the beautiful blonde.

I quickly stripped out of my clothes and hung them up on the fence, to reveal my red two piece, and walked over to pull the cover from the hot tub. Just as I had finished switching it on, Brittany's voice appeared next to me, "holy shit!"

My eyes moved from concentrating on the tub, to Brittany who had her attention trailing down my body which made my throat dry. Normally I would feel the need to cover myself under her stare, despite my confidence, it's only a natural response, but Brittany made me feel so comfortable that instead I was stepping closer to her.

She looked flawless, the black two piece showing off her perfect dancer figure and I licked my lips when I noticed her abs tightening as my fingers gripped her waist to pull her into me. "You are so beautiful, Brittany" I whispered, kissing her on the lips ever so gently, "come on, it's cold!"

Brittany climbed up the steps and into the tub, holding out her hands and helping me in before bringing me to sit next to her, pulling my legs over her lap so that I was practically sitting sideways and facing her.

"San, this is all so amazing, you're so amazing," Brittany told me in a quiet voice. Her blue eyes were focused on mine and looking at me so affectionately, sending a warmth straight to my heart and make it squeeze. "I can't believe you brought me on a date here!"

"I'm happy we're finally on a proper date," I told her honestly, "I wanted to ask you on the first day."

She rose her eyebrows, "why didn't you?"

"Sometimes I have this silly fear that I'm good enough and I get in my own head." Brittany frowned and I shrugged slightly, "then it usually takes one of Rachel or Kurt's really depressing "girlie-talks" to get me seeing straight."

"Well, I'm glad you have them," Brittany was smiling again and I smiled back instantly. Her smile was infectious and always made me return it just as wide. "It must be nice working so closely with them!" She added, and I groaned slightly in fake-annoyance which made her giggle.

"They are insufferable!" I told her, but then softened, "but I wouldn't have it any other way. They really helped me when I needed them the most, Snix's wouldn't even be a thing if it wasn't for the both of them."

"What do you mean?" She asked me, and I bit my lip slightly as the sudden seriousness in the air.

Brittany seemed to notice it too, because she scooted closer to me and her fingertips were tracing distracting patterns on my exposed thigh which calmed me down instantaneously.

She shook her head a little, "you don't ha-"

"No!" I interrupted quickly, and she stopped talking. "No, sorry, it's just, it's not that-" I leaned in a little and couldn't resist placing a soft kiss to her cheek, "Thank you. I just haven't been comfortable enough around somebody to speak about it for a long time, but I am… comfortable with you, that is."

She grinned at me and whispered, "you can tell me whatever you're comfortable with."

With a small breath, and snuggling a bit deeper into Brittany's side, it's easier than it ever has been to talk about. "I grew up around music, my family has always connected so well with it and sometimes that's how we used to communicate with each other when words made it so hard. My Mami especially, she taught me everything I know, she was the best performer I had ever seen and I remember thinking that I wanted to be just like her when I grew up." I could feel my eyes stinging and getting a little bit blurred as my words become more shaky the more that I spoke, and paused for a second to gather myself together.

Brittany opened her mouth, but I continued anyway, and she quickly shut it again. "She did everything to make my dreams come true. She paid for the best voice teachers to work with me, she'd teach me all of her dances and we would show them to my dad on the weekends. She was there at every dance competition and glee club competition, beaming proudly and telling me just how good I was."

My cheeks were wet with sticky tears as they freely streamed out of my eyes and Brittany softly wiped them away. She gave me an encouraging smile and squeezed her arms around me to bring me onto her lap, and whispered quietly, "she sounds perfect."

I smiled back at her in agreement, "yeah, she was." My voice cracked a little and I felt my bottom lip trembling, "she died from cancer halfway through my senior year."

"San- I'm so sorry baby." Brittany kissed my cheek and rubbed at my back, "I bet she is looking at you, so proud of you and what you have done."

"All I have is because of her," I told Brittany, "she is the reason why I have everything. She left me hundreds of thousands of dollars and told me to go to New York and live my dreams. She wrote me letters and left me videos, talking about how she knew I could do anything I wanted to, and giving me the recordings of her teaching me everything just in case I ever forgot." I giggled, because everybody in my family knew that I would never forget anything that she taught me, and judging from Brittany's grin, she knew that too.

"That's when you made Snix's?" She asked and I shook my head, sucking in my lips to hold in my chuckle when Brittany looked at me in confusion.

"No, see this is where Rachel and Kurt come into it!" I told her with a small laugh and her face lit up. She was completely engrossed in listening to me and just knowing she was taking everything in was so soothing to me, making this feel so easy.

"Yay!" She bounced, but then turned serious, adding, "I love learning about you. I appreciate you telling me this, Santana."

The familiar burning was back to my cheeks and I smiled at her, turning slightly so that I could look at her better and she just pulled my body up so that I was now sat straddling her. She just looked up at me innocently and began running her hands down my back to rest around my waist.

"We all went to high school together, but as you can imagine, I hated them." I laughed when Brittany mockingly gasped, "I was the top bitch of that school and they were, well more like are, losers. But then my insanely psychotic cheerleading coach came up with this idea of me spying on the glee club and secretly sabotaging it."

"Did you?" She asked me, her eyes wide and I could tell she was actually interested.

"At first," I admitted, "but it was fun to express my venom in an environment where I could also perform. That's like two of my favourite things." Brittany laughed in agreement and I winked at her, "I ended up loving it and it became a safe space for me, especially when my Mami passed away. They all really supported me, especially Rachel and Kurt, and then after Graduation when my dad gave me the box of things my Mami left, they invited me to stay with them at their apartment in New York while I decided what I wanted to do. They both got into NYADA."

"Did you go?" Brittany questioned and I nodded.

"Yeah, but I was so sad" I told her, frowning a little at the memory of me curled up crying between Kurt and Rachel for months in our first run-down apartment. "Everything was so different you know, so many things had changed for me in such a short time and I didn't want to think about the future when I didn't want my past to end."

"I wish I could have known you then," Brittany posted at me and I smiled softly.

"Me too, I think you would have made things a lot easier!" She smiled and I kissed her a few times, her arms melting around me before I gave her one final peck on the lips. "But that's how our first girlie talk happened! Rachel and Kurt pretty much got me absolutely shit face drunk one night when I was feeling particularly sad, and gave me some hard truths and reminded me who I was. They told me that the Santana Lopez they knew wouldn't stop until she got what she wanted, and all I ever wanted to do was perform and give others the opportunity to perform too. The week after that, I bought the building, a year later, Snix's was under construction, two years later, it's the best in New York."

"I'm glad they schooled you. Or else you wouldn't be a super successful and sexy business over and Snix's wouldn't exist and we would have never met, and I don't know want to think of a world where we never met…" Brittany was rambling and looking at me dreamily, her eyes focused on mine before dropping down to my lips half-way through her fast speech.

I smirked at her, "me either, I like this world with you in it a lot better than any other world."

Brittany's lips were leaning forward to connect with mine and my hands were cupping her face to keep her in place, wanting to stay kissing her forever. Her kisses were something unlike I've ever felt, like her lips were made to be kissing mine.

Her skilled mouth was moving so carefully against mine, before she applied more pressure and took control of the kiss, by running her tongue across my lip to request entrance. Of course I parted my lips eagerly, allowing the warmth of her tongue to enter my mouth and wrap around mine.

She let out a quiet moan and I smirked, pressing my body further into her and allowing myself to get utterly lost in her. My hands dipped from her cheeks, falling into the water and came to rest on her perfect abs.

"You are you beautiful, San.." Brittany whimpered a little when I pulled out of the kiss and began peppering butterfly kisses to her jawline and down her neck.

Her head rolled back against the side of the hot tub, giving me more room to taste her skin and her hands moved from my lower back to tangle in my hair, holding me against her.

My kisses moved higher up her neck to stop just below her ear and I licked the shell of her ear, "I want to know you, too."

I gave one final kiss to her neck and lifted my head, both of us breathing heavily and trying to catch air. Brittany's eyes were still squeeze shut and her cheeks were more rosy than I had ever seen them, her chest rising quickly.

Her eyes fluttered open after a few moments, and she was smiling softly. "You're such a tease!" She whined, but the big grin she had on her face told me that she liked it.

"Please?" I asked, running my nose against hers.

"I'll tell you anything you want to know!" Brittany agreed, "Where should I start?"

"Maybe the beginning?" I asked with light sarcasm and she sniggered, rolling her eyes.

I giggled and shook my head, "I'm kidding baby. Just tell me about you. What's important to you."

"I was born in Florida, spent all of my life there, up until 4 months ago-"

I cut her off, "that's when you started coming in to the club."

"Yeah…" she grinned, "it's the first place I came when moving here. Quinn actually told me about it.

The new information surprised me, but also confused me because I couldn't understand it. Brittany laughed, "what do you mean?"

"Well if you let me talk, I'll tell you all about it," she suggested with raised brows and I nodded, sucking in my lips to quiet myself. "So yeah, born and raised in Florida, twenty one whole years! My life's always been nice so I never felt the need to change anything, right?" I nodded understandingly. "Quinn and I, we've been neighbours our whole life, and we're only born a few days apart. She spent so much time at my place growing up that she could have just moved in and we wouldn't notice any difference. Well, actually, she did sort of move in when she got pregnant in junior year b-"

"They kicked her out because she was pregnant?"

"Yeah! It was awful! And so awkward, because we literally live right next door- but that's a story for another day!" I nodded at her, motioning for her to continue and giving her an apologetic look for interrupting her again.

"Sorry," I whispered.

She only pulled me closer, "I like it, means you're listening." I smiled and she continued talking, "Anyway, we were close and Quinn always supported my dreams of being a dancer, right since I fell in love with it during our first dance class together."

I smiled at the thought of a tiny Brittany dancing around a studio for the first time, "I bet you were the cutest and best dancer in there."

"Damn right I was!" She nodded cockily and laughed.

"That's my girl!" I winked, and she blushed.

"Not everyone supported my dreams, San." She told me, and I frowned at her words. "I mean, it's not like they didn't support me dancing, they just didn't, or don't, support it as my career. My mom doesn't care, she supports me in whatever, but my dad made sure I was going to a college for something educational." Brittany was rolling her eyes and I've never seen her look so frustrated and upset, it was similar to that time when she was sad and came to Snix's on a Thursday, but worse.

"You okay?" I asked her, and she nodded.

"Yeah, it just makes me angry. You know?" Now I nodded at her and she smiled, "sucks for him though!" My head tilted and she grinned at me, "I was never good in school, I have dyslexia, so words sometimes get mixed up in my head, and I don't have very good patience if I can't do something. I knew that I wanted to dance, I just didn't know how to without it causing some kind of friction between my parents. I didn't want to be the reason for them fighting, so I figured that I'd just through college and get a job dancing on the side."

"Did you do that?" I asked her and she nodded.

"At first," she repeated my earlier statement. "I went to Florida state to minor in biology, but then asked if I could minor in dance without telling my parents."

I grinned at her, "did they find out?"

She chucked, "oh yeah!" She shrugged her shoulders, "right about the same time that I told them I was dropping out, probably like three weeks later."

My jaw dropped and she laughed, "so, back to Quinn! She knew how much I loved dancing and how bummed out I was that I couldn't dance where I wanted to, right?" I nodded, "Turns out, Florida state has this performing arts extension where you can audition to get in. I would get a free scholarship to study dance only, I would get paid internships during college breaks, and potentially get work or auditions at the end. Quinn found out from a friend who she met in class and sent in a video of me at a dance competition. A week later, I got in and I dropped the bomb on my parents."

"How'd they take it?" I asked her.

"Mom took it really well, dad not so much," she frowned and then added, "he's better now! I mean, he's still not great, but he deals with it because he knows it's what I want. I just feel like I've always got to prove something you know?"

I rubbed her arms, "you don't have to prove anything to anybody. You just need to do what makes you happy."

"And that's what I told myself! And what Quinn told me, and my mom actually…" she rambled, starting up again. "So anyway! While I was in the program, I was in a few music videos, and worked with a few professional dancers which helped get my name out there a bit, and ended up graduating at the top of my class last year."

I beamed at her, "that's amazing!"

"Yeah, and get this!" She added, "When word got out that I had graduated, I already had job offers from people who I had worked with in the program. But there was one I couldn't refuse, San, freaking Juilliard wanted me to teach a class there for a whole year!"

"What?" I gasped, "you're teaching dance at fucking Julliard?" I asked her in disbelief and she nodded furiously with a big grin, "that's fucking insane Britt!"

"I know, and Quinn had just moved to New York a few month before because her law firm just opened up a new branch and she got a promotion," she started, "so she offered to let me room with her because she had a spare room anyways, and when I got here, she told me about Snix's because she was just in there the night before."

I tried thinking back to the night before I first met Brittany, but it was hazy, and I couldn't remember ever seeing Quinn in passing. "That's crazy!" I gasped.

"Yeah, she said that I should check it out because it was my vibe, and then I just had to go." She laughed, "I literally had just finishing unpacking, and got ready. Quinn was too tired, but I had slept on the plane and couldn't wait to enjoy my first night in New York! Then I met you…"

"I'm glad you didn't wait any longer" I told her softly and she kissed me.

"Me too, and I love this what we're doing but we've been in here for so long that I'm scared we're going to wrinkle up like raisins."

I laughed and moved to climb off her after giving her one last kiss, "let's get changed and make some dinner, Britt-Britt."

Going on dates with Brittany quickly became the highlight of my week. Our usual Friday date night at the club slowly extended to her coming back to my apartment and spending our weekends in the bliss of each other's company.

Brittany would help out around the club; assisting the dancers with anything they needed, teaching them new things and prepping and organising costumes with Kurt. When we would get back to my apartment on a Saturday evening, we would fall into bed and enjoy the peacefulness of being together.

Sundays were lazy days, and I gradually began leaving Kurt in charge on them days, so that Brittany and I could have our own time. Brittany would undoubtedly force me into watching a Disney movie, and tease me whenever I tried to hide that I was crying, and then give me endless kisses to make me feel better. She would walk around my apartment without clothes, cook breakfast for us, and tell me about her classes for the week.

Then, weekends turned into weekdays and Brittany would meet me at the club after her classes with a beaming smile and a needed kiss. Kurt would make fun of me for how whipped I was, and Rachel would obnoxiously point out how red my face went whenever Brittany would gracefully walk through the doors to greet me.

Okay, I admit it, I was head over heels in love with Brittany and so what if I was whipped for her? When I told Kurt this, he just laughed even harder and made a joke about how hell had finally frozen over.

She slowly became the highlight of my day and I found myself watching the clock more than ever, until it was time for her to arrive at the club.

"Waiting for someone?" I jumped and held my hand to my heart, turning to glare over my shoulder as Quinn laughed loudly.

"Asshole!" I mumbled, rolling my eyes. "Where's Brittany?" I asked her with an annoyed tone. It had been far too long since I had seen her and I was slowly beginning to lose my patience, and my niceness.

"Oh yes, I'm fine, thanks for asking!" Quinn's sarcasm made me laugh and she nudged me playfully as I continued to look around for my favourite blonde. "She's not here, I thought I'd come and see you."

"Why?" I asked her with a huff, slightly fuming because she was here without Brittany.

"You make it sound like you don't want to see me."

"If you're not bringing me my girlfriend, then I really don't." Quinn frowned and I softened, "sorry, I just miss her. This is the longest we've gone without seeing each other since our first date six months ago and I don't know what to do with myself."

Quinn reached out and took the papers from my hands as I began fumbling with them as I spoke, "I can see." I gave her a pointed look and she collected the papers into a pile, placing them on the side of the stage. "You guys suck, Brittany has just given me the same speech.. "oh I miss my Sanny, I can't wait to kiss her and make lady babies!" She was worse than you, actually."

I frowned at Quinn mocking Brittany's voice, "she doesn't sound like that!"

Quinn cackled, "not the point, San!" She sat beside me and told me, "has she told you about her contract ending?"

I nodded my head slightly, "yeah, I can't believe she's been here for almost a year already!"

"She's still pretty bummed out. I keep telling her not to stress, she'll get another job, but she doesn't like not having something there already." Quinn told me and I pouted subconsciously at the thought of Brittany being stressed and upset. "She's one of the best dancers and choreographers, there's no way that she won't find something but she's just all in her feelings at the moment about it."

"She's putting so much of herself into this end of year performance, she knows that her parents are coming to watch it too so she's feeling the pressure of that. Plus, we haven't seen each other in a week because they're working her to the fucking bone so I can't even help relieve h-"

"I'm going to stop you right there." Quinn held up her hand and cut me off, "she's coming here, tonight, though?"

I grinned widely, "yeah, I'm not sure what time she's going to get here but I told her not to rush. I was going to leave early today but if Britt is coming then I'll just leave whenever she arrives so we can go home together."

"You might as well move her in with you, you know, she practically stays with you every night anyway and at least you can still cuddle in bed during times like this when you're both busy." Quinn lifted her drink to her mouth slowly and raised her eyebrows questioningly.

I sucked in a breath, knowing that what Quinn was saying made complete sense, and the thought of possibly living with Brittany making my heart skip a few beats. "I want that but do you think she'll want to live with me?" I asked Quinn quietly.

Quinn opened her mouth, but another voice spoke before she could. "Hey, baby!" My entire body could finally relax at the sound of her voice after an antagonising week apart from her, and her arms snaked around my waist to pull me into a searing kiss before I could reply.

Finally being back in her presence had everything falling back into perfect place, and I knew in that moment that this was a feeling I wanted to feel for the rest of my life. Brittany brought out a completely different side to me, she grounded me and brought me back to Earth whenever I felt myself slipping away, and that made me feel so safe.

Her lips felt softer than ever, and I moaned at the familiar warmth mixed with Brittany filling all of my senses, my hands moving to cup her face and hold her against me. "Brittany…" I whispered, smiling into the kiss and she was giggling.

"I missed you," Brittany told me between placing small kisses across my face.

"I missed you too, Mi amor." I dropped my arms over her shoulders and pulled her into a hug, breathing in her usual sweet strawberry scent as I nuzzled my face into her neck.

"You two knock me sick" Quinn groaned from beside us and I felt Brittany jump in my arms, sniggering at her because she reacted the exact same way as me earlier when Quinn appeared out of nowhere.

"Quinn! What are you doing here?" She asked, pulling away from me and giving Quinn a quick side-hug making me pout and reach for her as she stepped away from me. Brittany giggled and came back to me a second later, wrapping her arms around me and kissing my cheek, "love you" she whispered in my ear.

My cheeks heated. "I love you too" I told her affectionately, "Quinn came to tell me how much you missed me."

"Like I didn't tell you enough!" Brittany grinned, and I smiled back widely at her because she was so right. This past week, she had sent me multiple messages and voicemails expressing how much she missed me, and how much she wouldn't wait to cuddle again. She looked at Quinn and frowned, "you were gossiping about my useless job hunting weren't you?"

"It's not useless-"

"It's okay babe," Brittany kissed me, essentially stopping my defending comment, "it is shitty but I have been looking. I just need to finish this putting together this performance first. My dad has been up my ass about not wanting to be disappointed so I need to make sure it's perfect!"

Quinn rolled her eyes, "Brittany you can't put that amount of pressure on yourself. Screw him, you need to do this for you."

"I know, but there's this last bit of salsa choreography that I just need to focus on getting right and then I-"

My eyes widened, "salsa? That's what's been keeping you at the studio all week?" Why hadn't she told me this at the start of the week?

"Yeah?" Brittany drawled out, eyeing my curiosity and I began bouncing on my feet with excitement when the thought immediately entered my head. "Why do you look like I've just suggested having a quickie in the bathroom?"

I slapped her arm dismissively, "I have an idea!"

Quinn and Brittany shared a look of curiosity, the shorter blonde ended up chuckling, "of course you do! You're like the Brittany whisperer. Now that the two of you are reunited and I'm free of my duty of keeping you both somewhat sane without each other, I'm going to find Rachel. She wanted me to help pick out costume for her to wear tomorrow when Jesse finally comes to watch her sing. Bye-bye, don't stay up too late!" She winks and then walks away from us after a quick group hug.

I turned to Brittany, "want to come to my office?"

After five of so minutes, Brittany and I were cuddled together on the couch in my office with my laptop placed carefully on our laps between us as I searched for the familiar files that I have been re-watching for the last four years.

"What are you looking for?" She asked me softly, and I smiled at her shyly.

"Inspiration! My Mami's favourite was salsa. We would always dress up in my Abuela's Spanish dresses and she would teach me her best moves, I have all of our salsa routines here!" I told her excitedly, shoving my laptop into her and pointing at the screen containing around 10 different routines.

Brittany looked between the laptop and then back to me, her deep ocean eyes looking at me so softly. "I love you so much" she whispered, leaning in to kiss me lightly, "thank you."

"I love you, too, now make yourself comfortable!" I stood up from beside her and moved to lift her legs in the space where I was sat. "I'm going to get us a drink, there's a notepad and pen on my desk so you can take some notes if you need to."

Brittany nodded and I walked to the door of my office as she put her attention back on the screen, I watched briefly as she pressed play and a huge smile came onto her face as she watched the first few seconds.

I definitely want this forever.

"Congratulations, baby…" I whispered into her ear, kissing her cheek softly as she took the bunch of flowers I was giving to her.

The end of year performance was incredible, showcasing the talent of the students and highlighting what an amazing choreographer Brittany was. The show was breathtakingly beautiful, and left me feeling inspired from watching it.

"I couldn't have done it without you, or your Mami, thank you!" She told me.

I grinned, shaking my head a little at her bashfulness. Brittany's talent was unmatched, something any performer would dream of. The way she moved and the way she created pieces of art for the stage was magical, something I had only seen before with my Mami.

The possibility of what Brittany was going to do once her contract finished has been weighing on my mind the past couple of weeks since my conversation with Quinn, but with each passing thought, I could feel myself coming to a decision.

"You could do anything you want!" Brittany's cheeks became rosy and she kissed me again quickly. "Did you speak to your parents?"

She nodded, "yeah! My mom was crying and my dad said that he didn't think I would be so good at doing this, I think he finally is starting to see that this is something real and an acceptable career."

I brought her into a hug, "I'm so proud of you! I knew that you would get him to see how good you are."

I paused a little, but then she sent me that beaming smile and I melted right away. "So, I was thinking, maybe it's time for an entire new show at Snix's?" She looked at me in confusion, tilting her head to the side a little when I paused, "do you know any choreographers that would want the job?"

"Are you fucking serious?"

"So serious," I grinned.

"Hell fucking yes!"

She tackled me in a hug and I laughed loudly, because this was it; this was the start of our forever.
