Hey, HP fans! How you been?

Anyway, I'm going to try to update every six months (I hope) so that you guys don't have to wait like a year – not my bloody fault!

Well, enjoy the new update. Cario for now!

-Great Hall, Oct 31-

"Oh, will you stop pouting?" Harry snorted. "So, you can't join the Quidditch team until next term. At least they have you as a reserve Chaser. You're bound to play if one of the Chasers can't."

"But Wood's team hardly get sick! My chances to play are slim to none," whined Iris.

Luna smirked, "Let this be a lesson when you do something stupid and reckless."

Iris glared at her friend and stuck her tongue out.

"Real mature… you just want to beat Draco, don't you?" Azalea smirked.

"Someone has to show my brat of a cousin a thing or two!" Iris said then remembered something. "Do you guys want to go to Sir Nicholas' death day party tonight? He invited me, Ron and Hermione."

"And miss out the warmth of the Great hall, no thanks," replied Harry.

"It… could be an interesting experience," murmured Luna.

"Iris, you do know that they won't be serving any 'real' food, right?" Azalea asked.

Iris blushed, "Um… well, sorta – oh, alright, no I didn't."

"It's a death party, meaning the guests will be dead. The food will likely be for the ghost or not be serve at all," Azalea informed her cousin.

"I've always wondered what a death day party would be like," said Winter, trying to visualize it in her mind as Luna thought the same thing.

"That's what Hermione said. We agreed to check it out," stated Iris.

"I'm in!" Winter and Luna said, excitedly.

"Pass," intoned Harry and Azalea.

Iris pouted, "…spoilsports."

After visiting the Potter's graves, Iris informed her aunt that she and her friends will be attending Nicholas' death party. At first, Petunia didn't want her to go since Harry wasn't going, but Iris was able to convince her by only staying for an hour.

Reluctantly, Petunia allowed her niece to go, but she and her friends must stay together. Mostly because Winter and Luna are still navigating around the castle with Azalea's help.

When dinner rolled by, Harry was talking to Draco when Harry felt his twin's annoyance. He laughed, 'I guess she found out that the party was a waste of time. I'll notify her later to come over to Aunt's office for some 'real' food.'

Once dinner was over, the students began making their way out of the Great hall to head to their common rooms when everyone suddenly stopped in their tracks. A few of them gasped or were speechless.

Harry, Draco, Daphne and Azalea pushed their way to the front to see a cat hanging, stiffly by her tail from a torch bracket. Iris, Winter, Luna, Hermione and Ron were standing near the cat, staring at the wall. Turning their heads, to see what they were looking at, their eyes widened at the writing on the wall.

The Chamber of Secrets has been opened.
Enemies of the heir – beware!

Mathew and his group pushed forward before looking at the wall. His face split into a nasty grin, "Enemies of the heir, beware – you'll be next, mudbloods!"

Many students glared at him as Filch pushed students to the side, yelling at them to move so that he could see what was going on.

"What's going on here? Go on now! Make way…" Filch then spots his cat, "Mrs. Norris!" He looked around with fury, "Who?! Who did it? Tell me!" Then he spots Iris, "You! You murdered my cat, didn't you? I'll kill you! I'll…"

"Argus, that's enough!" Petunia snapped, running over to her niece.

Albus walked over to the wall and his face suddenly darkened. He then turned around to face the students, "Everyone will proceed to your dormitories immediately… expect you five."

As the students began to leave, Harry looked over to his twin who gave him a nod.

Harry and Azalea looked at each other before nodding. Harry left with Draco and Daphne while Azalea left with Terry and Padma.

When the corridor emptied, Albus gently took Mrs. Norris down from the torch bracket.

"Obviously a curse that killed her – probably the Transmorgrifian Torture. Encountered one myself once, in Ouagadougou. The full story is in my autobiography…"

"She's not dead, Argus. She's only been petrified," Albus interrupted Lockhart.

"Petrified?" Petunia inquired, not allowing Lockhart to continue. "But how? Not even a sixth-year student is able to do that!"

"Why don't you ask her?!" Filch snapped, pointing at Iris. "It's her that's done it. You saw what she wrote on the wall! Besides, she knows that I'm a – a squib!"

"Hey! I'm just shocked as you are Mr. Filch!" Iris argued. "Besides, I would never harm or kill animals even if they're mean! And you heard my aunt, if a sixth-year student couldn't do it, then how would a second year could?!" She then showed her hands, "And my hands are clean, so I didn't write that bloody message!"

"If I may, Headmaster," said Severus as everyone turned their heads toward him. "Perhaps Miss Potter and her friends were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time… however, the circumstances are suspicious. I, for one, don't recall seeing them at dinner."

"Actually, Iris informed me that they might not be attending the feast," Petunia spoke up, "She and her friends went to Sir Nicholas' death party. Ask the ghosts if you need proof."

"My cat has been petrified! I want to see some punishment!" Filch snapped.

"We'll be able to cure her, Argus. As I understand, Madam Sprout has an extremely healthy growth of Mandrakes currently. When they have matured, a potion will be made which will be able to revive Mrs. Norris. In the meantime, I advise caution… to everyone."

The professors nodded before heading back to their quarters.

Filius took Winter and Luna back to the Ravenclaw tower while Minerva took Iris, Ron and Hermione back to the Gryffindor tower. But what Albus didn't know was that Severus, Remus and Petunia went to Severus' private quarters instead.

"Enemies of the heir… beware," murmured Remus, then looked over at Petunia, "Harry's Slytherin's heir, correct?"

Petunia nodded, "Yes, but Harry couldn't have opened the chamber, no one knows where the entrance is. You think it might be Riddle, Sev?"

"I do, but in what form? Last year, his spirit possessed a body," replied Severus.

Remus sighed, "We need a lead. Petunia, go to the Gringotts and find out from Salazar's portrait for any information about the chamber."

Petunia nodded before flooing back to her quarters.

-McGonagall's classroom-

"Today, we will be transforming animals into goblets," stated Minerva. She tapped the bird in front of her, three times, with the tip of her wand. It soon transfigures into a beautiful crystal goblet. "Now, who would like to go first, hm? Ah, Mr. Weasley?"

Ron nodded and tapped his rat, Scabbers, turning him into a goblet, however it still had its tail. Everyone around him started laughing.

"I hope you replace that wand soon, Mr. Weasley," Minerva looked worriedly at the wand in his hand. Ron sighed, sadly before placing his broken wand into his robes.

That's when Minerva sees Hermione's raised hand, "Yes, Miss Granger?"

"Professor… I was wondering if you could, maybe tell us about the Chamber of Secrets?" Hermione asked.

The room quickly became silent.

"Miss Granger, need I remind you that my subject is Transfiguration, not History of Magic," Minerva said.

"I know, Professor. But there seems to be very little written about the Chamber of Secrets. For those of us with a personal interest in the subject, it is… frustrating, to say the least," explained Hermione.

Minerva sighed, "Very well. You all know that Hogwarts was founded over a thousand years ago by the four greatest witches and wizards in our world: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. Three of the founders co-existed quite harmoniously… one did not."

Ron snorted, "I can guess who."

Minerva nodded, "Salazar Slytherin wished to be more selective about the students admitted to Hogwarts. He believed that magical learning should be kept within all-magic families. In other words, purebloods. Unable to sway the others, he decided to leave the school. According to legend, Slytherin had built a hidden chamber in this castle, known as the Chamber of Secrets. Shortly before departing, he sealed it until his true heir returned to the school. The heir alone would be able to open the chamber and unleash the horror within, and purging the school of all those who, in Slytherin's view, were unworthy to study magic."

The Potter twins frowned upon hearing of Salazar's 'suppose' departure.

"Muggleborns," replied Hermione.

"Correct. However, the school has been searched many times for such a chamber. To this day, one has never been found," stated Minerva.

"What exactly does the legend say about what lies within the chamber?" Hermione inquired.

"That the chamber is homed to something which the heir of Slytherin alone can control," said Minerva, frowning, "It is said to be…. a monster."

After lessons, the Potter twins and their friends were walking through the corridors. They soon meet up with Azalea, Luna and Winter once their lesson finished.

"Do you think it's true? Is there really a Chamber of Secrets?" Ron inquired.

The Potter siblings looked at each other before guiding their friends to a deserted hallway. Azalea looked around then cast a powerful silent spell that her father had taught her.

"What we are going to tell you must be kept a secret, understand?" Harry said, seriously.

The others nodded.

Harry sighed, "There is a chamber and there is a creature…"

"And that creature is a Basilisk," continued Iris, "The reason why only Salazar's heir can control it because they need to speak Parseltongue."

Ron, Hermione and Neville eyes widened, while Luna, Winter, Draco and Daphne were in awe.

"So, if the chamber is truly opened, that means the heir has returned," Daphne realized before frowning, "But, who is it?"

"Well, Slytherin's descendants are Riddle aka Voldie and Harry," replied Azalea. "Iris is Gryffindor's heiress and I'm Ravenclaw's."

"But Harry was at the feast when Mrs. Norris was petrified," reminded Hermione.

"Which means the only possible person that could've opened the chamber…" Azalea said.

"You-Know-Who!"

"B-B-But you guys defeated him last year," said Neville as his face went pale.

"Defeated, no. Stopping him from getting a new body, yes," corrected Harry, "However, he's still out there as a spirit, a shadow and can still cause damage."

"So, he's somehow controlling the Basilisk… without a body?" Draco drawled, confused.

"We don't know, but what you need to do is be careful walking around the corridors, even more so at night," replied Azalea.

"Aura, the Basilisk, is a nocturnal creature. She only hunts at night and uses her senses to catch her prey," finished Iris.

"Good to know," murmured Winter, looking uncomfortable.

"Shouldn't we inform the headmaster about this?" Hermione asked. "Maybe he can find a way to stop the Basilisk and Riddle."

Harry shook his head, "He cannot be trusted, Mione. My uncle's family never trusted him even after what he did to my aunt."

Hermione shot him a confused look.

Azalea glared down at the floor, "He blocked my mother's magic when she was just a baby. Not only that, but he placed spells that would alter her personality. It should've made her bitter and jealous, but somehow, my mother was able to fight off the spells."

Their friends gasped.

"And here I thought that Dumbledore was this amazing wizard," said Ron, a frown marring his face. "My parents… told us to trust Dumbledore, no matter what."

Draco snorted, "No offense, but your parents are too blind to see that Dumbles is just an old coot who wants power and have control over the Wizarding world."

"And that's why my family stayed neutral during the first war," Daphne drawled.

"The same with my parents," said Luna.

"My gran wouldn't listen to him after what happened to my parents," informed Neville.

"Alright, don't trust the old frat. So, how are we going to find this so called 'heir'?" Winter asked, hands on her hips.

"We're not sure, but if any of us notice something suspicious, report to my godfather, my aunt or Remus," said Harry.

"Maybe… we should ask the Weasley twins for help," suggested Iris.

Harry and the others gave her a strange look.

Iris sighed, "They somehow able to sneak around the castle without being caught by Snape or Filch. They're bound to know something, right?"

Azalea face lit up in shock, "That's right… why is it you only show your intelligence when something troublesome happens?"

Iris pouted, sticking her tongue out at her cousin.

"We better head back to our dorms," Harry narrowed his eyes at his twin, "No detours!"

Iris crossed her arms as everyone began heading towards their common rooms. She was about to head towards Gryffindor tower when Hermione stopped her.

"There is another way," murmured Hermione, biting her lip. "Mind you, it would be difficult. Not to mention we'd be breaking about fifty school rules. And it's going to be dangerous – extremely dangerous."

Iris and Ron looked at each other, before nodding to the brunette teen. Hermione took them to the library to a dark nook part of it and grabbed a book labeled 'Most Potent Potions'. The pages are littered with disturbing illustrations.

"Here it is: The Polyjuice Potion. When properly brewed, the potion allows the drinker to transform him or herself temporarily into the physical form of another," Hermione read.

"You mean, if Iris and I drink this potion, we can turn into anyone?" Ron asked and Hermione nodded. He grinned, "Wicked! I say let's turn into Crabbe and Goyle. That way someone from Slytherin is bound to tell us something!"

Iris frowned, "Ron, my brother would've told me if someone in Slytherin claimed to be the heir. And what if the 'heir' was sorted in a different house, then what? We'd be brewing something dangerous if we mess up. Even Uncle Raven refuses to allow my brother to brew this potion until his seventh year."

Hermione looked at the book again, "I guess you do have a point. It is tricky. I've never seen a more complicated potion. Lacewing flies, leeches, fluxweed. And we'll need the hair or some type of DNA of whoever we want to change into."

"And if I recall, it takes about a month for that to brew," stated Iris.

"A month?! Whoever is planning to attack the muggleborns will have killed half of the school by then," stated Ron, angrily. "We need to do something else – fast!"

"Let's wait…" started Iris.

"Wait?! Why?!" Ron said, angrily. "We need to find out who is this 'fake' heir or Hermione and the other muggleborns will be in danger."

The brunette eyes widened with worry.

Iris sighed, "Let me finish, Ron. Let's wait, but if there's another attack, then we'll just borrow some brewed Polyjuice potions from Uncle Raven's storage."

Ron nodded sheepishly while Hermione smiled before all of them headed to Gryffindor tower.
