Chapter:15 : Asking for Forgiveness?
" We are sorry, Naruto. ", finished Sakura.
Naruto stood there with his facial expressions changing from going from angry to confusion then he suddenly had a flashback which changed his expression to sadness
-Flashback 1.5 years before Naruto's imprisonment and trial, Detained in a cell before the trial-
Konoha 11, except Sakura (Sakuras in hospital), standing in front of the cell where their called friend was held in a bruised state. They all were mad at him for what he did to their friend.
Ino yelled to the blond, "How could you do this to Sakura, Naruto she was your teammate."
Naruto was about to say something but was cut off by SShikamaru, "We thought you were a better person. We never cared what the villagers called you, but now we can see why they used to call you that".
Naruto knew what Shikamaru was gonna say. he yelled, I AM NOT A MONSTER I DIDN'T DO IT TRUST ME GU-", he was punched in the face by Lee, lee said "I thought highly of you Naruto san but I never like it when someone hurts my friend but what you did was worse, Your worse than a monster Naruto you're a FUCKIING DEMON." finished lee in an angry tone.
Naruto saw his friends nodding at Lee's words, looking at Naruto the way the villagers used to see him or even in the worst way possible, which broke Naruto's heart.
-flashback end-
-back at ichiraku-
Everyone saw the shift in Naruto's expression especially Konoha 11 wanted to forgive them.
Iruka and Teuchi were worried about Naruto because the way he was lost in thought was like he was thinking about something sad due to his expression.
suddenly Naruto's expression changed and his eyes were filled with rage he was about to say something to them, but Konoha 11 also saw a change in his expression and saw his eyes they saw he was about to say something but got cut off by Teuchi, " Come on Naruto I have a special seat for my favorite customers", Tuechi grabbed Naruto by his arm and took him in the back in his house, Iruka also followed them inside.
Konoha 11 had a sad expression on their face Lee said," I guess he didn't forgive us "
"Don't give up, guys. Don't forget the promise we made to ourselves that he'll forgive us one day, I hope," said Sakura. Sakura's words gave them motivation, and they all went back to their respective houses and prepared for tomorrow's announcement.
-inside Teuchi house-
"Calm down, Naruto", said Iruka to Naruto, calming him down. " Why iruka sensei why do they have to show their faces to me, why would they think I'll forgive him after what they said to me and what they did to me, you know during my imprisonment I thought this whole thing was a prank, me getting beaten to shit by anbu was also a part of prank I used to think that" cried out Naruto while hugging Iruka.
Ayame was crying after hearing Naruto's words and she ran toward him hugged him and said, "Shh calm down Naruto don't cry it's all over You are out and you're with us, don't cry I don't know what they did to you in that prison, please don't cry I don't like it when my always smiling little brother cries in front of his sister, we won't leave ever you again Naruto, don't cry shhh calm down".
Naruto calmed down and got off a crying Iruka chest and wiped his and his sister's tears, smiled, and thanked everyone present there. after eating they both thanked the father and daughter and wentt on the their way
-on the way to Irukas house-
"SHIT", yelled Iruka in realization, Naruto was confused and said "Is something wrong sensei?", "yes, tomorrow your heritage will be revealed, and we haven't gotten u something good to wear, "finished Iruka.
"It's not a big deal. I'll wear my usual attire-wait, my jumpsuit was destroyed. Shit, we seriously need to get something for tomorrow," said Naruto while Iruka nodded.
"let's get my new jumpsuit first," said Naruto.
Iruka said, "All right."
they made their way to the ninja shop first.
-Ninja shop-
"Jeez, I wonder why there are no customers here during this time. I am bored," said Tenten.
the door opened with a bell signaling that a customer had entered the shop. Tenten was about to say welcome when she stopped midway and saw who had entered and was shocked to see him after the scene at ichiraku, "Naruto and Iruka sensei? ".
Naruto had an angry expression on his face after seeing Tenten and kept ignoring tentens calls and was about to leave but was stopped by Iruka who was holding him off and said, "Calm down we need a jumpsuit for you, and this the only shop open right now, so we have to deal with her, for now, ill do the speaking can reply in nod if you want to say something." whispered Iruka into naruto ear and Naruto nodded afterward.
Meanwhile, she was shocked that Iruka responded to her after months and was also shocked that Naruto was getting a new jumpsuit for himself after his forced retirement, She looked at the 6foot blond who had long blond hair coming down his shoulders and said, "Ok this way".
(Yeah ik you all will say Naruto ain't six feet tall i made him now so don't complain please plus Naruto will have a haircut later at the end of the chapter which will either be like Aushra Oktuski or his og Shippuden style)
They followed Tenten through a ninja clothing section, and when they reached there, tenten said, "Here we are. I'll leave you both for a now. When you're done, you can call me, " finishing the sentence with a smile and went back to the counter. they both looked at her retreating form.
20 minutes went by they both looked at the clothing and couldn't decide what to buy then, naruto saw some clothing that he liked and called Iruka and told him that he gonna try this iruka told him to go to the try room and try it out and before going to the try room he tied naruto hair pony (like Kashin koji from boruto) and naruto went inside to change.
meanwhile, Tenten came to Iruka and said, "Sorry Iruka Sensei you guys only have 15 minutes before the shop closes for the night", Iruka nodded and said, We are almost done Tenten Naruto just trying the new suit, if he likes It we may order for more sets, we also might need a set of kunai and a chakra paper and some Shuriken. " finished Iruka, she noted it all down was about leave for gathering other order before naruto comes out when she heard naruto voice stating that he's coming out.
she looked back and saw the 6foot tall blond wearing a black zipper (like the one in the last movie), black shinobi pants with the kunai holster on the right leg black long shinobi sandals ( like Hokage Naruto), and glubs like Kakashi oh his hands and in the last he was wearing an orange cape with black flames on the bottom (pretty identical to forths capes). this new get-up made the 18-year-old girl blush.
Naruto said, "Hey, Iruka sensei, this looks good. I am thinking of wearing this to the announcement tomorrow!" said the excited blond. Iruka was shocked to see the blond looking so identical to his father in looks except for the ponytail hair. "Yeah naruto I guess this looks what do you say Tente-" he was about to finish words when he saw the girl blushing so hard, he smirked and broke Tenten out of his shocked blushing state and said, " Tenten I think this outfit is perfect can you pack this outfit can you please make 6 more sets of this entire outfit, please put the swirl emblem on the one which naruto just wore now, naruto can you change back. ", two teenagers nodded.
15 mins later
"Here's your bill, Iruka Sensei. Have a good night.", said tenten with a smile. Iruka said thanks and was about to leave but saw Naruto staring at Tenten said," Thank you for letting me inside the shop and letting a person like me shop," and went back. Tenten was a bit confused and said thanks anyway; she wanted to see Naruto wearing that outfit again, but she didn't know why.
(A.N: I didn't know why I did that scene, wanted to clear up a thing that you might get confused naruto still hates his friends but he said thanks was caused because Tenten was the first person who didn't kick him out of her shop, tenten blushing wasn't part of the script I just felt like kt \_(ツ)/ )
-At Irukas's place -
"Finally you guys are back", said Kakashi while reading his book and sitting on the couch. " what did you think we would get lost on the road of life like you? " said Naruto with a cold tone, Kakashi was shocked to hear naruto voice and was a bit happy that he at least talked to him, he was about to say something to naruto but cut off by Iruka who took naruto to the restroom with the scissors, Kakashi got curious and followed them to the restroom and saw naruto sitting on a chair and saw Iruka about to cut his hair.
"Is this part of your mission to Kakashi that you watch over me like that even if I am getting a haircut. " said Naruto glaring at Kakashi, Kakashi replied, "Nah got curious that why were you both going to the restroom together?" said with a prevented a chuckle and was dodging Shuriken throw from naruto and Iruka and further said "I am tired going to bed good night you to", then he went back to his room while chuckling.
A few minutes later, Iruka started to cut Naruto's hair. After cutting, Naruto's hair was back to his original style before the trial.
"not gonna lie naruto I missed your old hairstyle and didn't like the current one you had", said Iruka with a smile, " yea I didn't like it either I love my spikey hair, Iruka sensei you can go to bed now ill take a shower before sleeping"siad naruto, Iruka nodded and was about to leave when he saw Narutos leg and said" I don't get it why isn't the fox healing your leg," said irukawith worried look. " to be honest I haven't heard from the fox since I was poisoned, he's still in me but I can't sense his presence, you know what ill meet ne him tomorrow and ask what's up said Naruto," said Naruto in usual tone. Iruka nodded and went to his room after saying good night.
10 minutes later, after Naruto was done with his bath, he went to his room to sleep.
-Next morning around 6 irukas place-
Kakashi was sitting on the countertop waiting for Iruka to make breakfast since Iruka didn't allow Kakashi to do anything, even cook. a few minutes later Iruka came after waking Naruto up and instructed him to take a shower and get ready.
Meanwhile, Iruka was cooking breakfast Kakashi asked "What's today's schedule before? ", Iruka replied in an angry tone, " After breakfast, we are going to the training ground 7 so Naruto can reopen his chakra and do some chakra control exercise and retrain for his jutsus and maybe talk to the fox about his leg not getting healed and probably he'll summon the toads and talk to them about his training that he and Jiraiya and toad sage talked about." Kakashi was shocked to hear that Naruto was gonna start his training even though he was forced to retire and simply nodded in understanding.
A few minutes later Naruto came out wearing his new attire Iruka smiled at him and told him to sit down and eat his breakfast meanwhile Kakashi was dumbstruck looking at Naruto who looked exactly like his father, Kakashi said "Sens- I mean naruto is that you look great the new attire is exactly like how-" Kakashi was cutt off by Naruto who said "like my dad I know that I always looked like him but the people who were fixated at hating me just saw as a monster, honestly I don't care about all that now I am just gonna train hard now so what happened to me 1.6 years ago never happens me this time ill be stronger than ever and I'll take my revenge by killing that bastard Uchiha and that Akatsuki freaks, Kakashi you know I forgive you a lot of times when you neglected my training, I know that the counsel you used to give you a pressure to train that bastard and not train me, I know you tried your best in training me without the counsel ever finding out about it during the Rasenshurkien training, thank you for always protecting me as a kid to but i know you were always there for me including during the my imprisonment i know you used to come to my cell wearing a dog mask whoese eyes were filled with tears you used to wash my face from all the beating i received. you did a very bad job heading yourself Kakashi, the reason I never talked to you was I was not mad at you because you believed the accusations I know you didn't, I was because you never wanted to tell me you were there for me instead wanted to keep quiet about, now I want to say thank you for helping me since the day I was born Kakashi, if you want sensei suffix back you have to earn it back " said Naruto with a smile.
Kakashi after hearing from Naruto that he was never mad at him about the imprisonment but was about him not telling Naruto how he helped him all those years since he was born, a tear left Kakashi's eyes he nodded and said "I'll earn that back just you wait, my dear cute student" said Kakashi with tears in his. naruto smiled, and so did Iruka; Iruka believed in Naruto's judgment and forgave Kakashi.
after they all got done with their breakfast they went to the training ground 7 so they could train Naruto before the announcement.
