The Champions of Monster High

Chapter 6: Kind-Hearted and Abyss Adventure

Hello once again and welcome to another chapter of our monogatari! I'm your host Seimei, and today is a very special day indeed! Today, we will take a peek at the last of the five shounens and the first one that chose to stay in this sekai to fight the threat of the Orphenochs!

BUT! Let's do our recap for now, nee~?

Last time we gazed upon a day in the school life of Leon Hart, a gaki with a love for adventure and neverending optimism to the point of annoyance, as can our fellow gray-haired eiyuu, Blake, and a few other Monster High students could attribute.

But what our adventurous teen didn't expect was that collaborating with Heath Burns, his archrival, or so the flaming-headed shounen claims, in doing team stunts with their skateboards attempting to impress the ojou-chans of the school. But 'something' went wrong and instead of impressing the ladies and bringing a few smiles to the ones that he consider friends, Leon and Heath sent a more than few to the school nursery!

The reason why, was because the chemical compound they planned to use was switched by the werecat twins Meowlody and Purrsephone under Toralei Stripe orders with a vile concoction that stinked way worse than a skunk could ever do. Eww!

With all evidence pointing to them first, I and Bloodgood-chan grounded them to clean up the reeky substance, but during their cleaning, young Leon was notified of the presence of an Orphenoch and had to do the only rational thing in order to not be seen. He devised a briliantly silly scheme and locked out young Heath! I was quite surprised such a thing worked, but I guess that's how ningen brilliance and simplicity works, especially if it's originating from such a simple tamashi as young Leon's.

Anywho, after defeating the Orphenoch with a looot of help from moi, I also helped the gaki clean up with a bit of my mahou touch, totally not because he kept telling please over and over... Sigh, for that short moment, I felt like I undertood young Blake more than I wanted to...

Soon after, with a slip of tongue from the wicked werecat and a himitsu phone call from yours truly, she and her accomplices had been grounded accordingly and the very next day, three of our eiyuu were showered in gratitude and ai. Ahh~ The joys of high school that can be forgotten so quickly.

Oopsie, sorry, I was just reminiscing! Oh, and for those that are wandering, young Maximilian is daijobu! Althought he strangely had problems with his sense of taste for a short while.

This about covers up our fourth shounen and it's been quite some time, but after waiting this long, the jikan has come to introduce our last eiyuu!

Are you ready?

With a heart full of compassion and determination, I present to you, drum roll, tanomu?

*DRDRDRDR!*

Ken!

Monster High - Home Ick

In Monster High every subject that can be learned at this institution is a variant that normal humans would learn in a less... unusual or spooky way or at least when the moment call for it.

The same also applies to the Home Ick class. The monster side version of Home Economics, which is a common class where it's students learn life skills which are sometimes more used in the household than in the outside world.

Home Ick, being similar to it's human counterpart, is a class consisting of a majority of ghoul students, or girls that learn... rather unique skills like brewing potions, cleaning giant pots, or more commonly cooking and sharing it with other students. Truly a class for the ones that want to explore the more magical side or the ever helpful as such is the late case for it's one and only human student.

From first glance, Kenneth Gregory or simply Ken, looks like he would be the the one selected to be called 'The King of the School'. He is tall and handsome, wearing a pure white buttoned-up shirt with short sleeves and a pair of black trousers and formal shoes, giving a dignified and mature feeling, but had his dark brown hair tied back in a small ponytail and gentle forest green eyes that were focused on decorating a three-tiered cake with countless monsters anxiously watching him. In spite of those gazes, he is sporting a joyous pearly-white smile that contrasted his more formal attire, creating a blend of formality, but also casualness and friendliness that naturally attracted a crowd towards himself.

Back home, Ken was someone born under a lucky star. His family is one with a great noble lineage with many of his ancestors being warriors in the court of past England, high-ranking nobles and today, deserving individuals knighted by The Queen herself. May she rest in peace.

Being part of such a lineage that is almost five hundred years old, Ken was raised by his family to be an upstanding student but to also have a strong moral compass and to be always helpful to others, no matter their status. Ken took those lessons by the heart and always lent a helping hand.

Helping others was part of his instinct, and chosing to willingly stay in another world and attend a school where the beings told in folktales were real was unexpected, but he couldn't refuse, especially after seeing the threat of the Orphenochs. Creatures from another world that look as mixed species of animals and plants with humanoid shape, but act almost akin to wild beasts that attack everything in their sight.

It is all something the he never prepared to encounter in life, but these weeks in Monster High and helping the monster students that while at first fearful and even hateful of humans such as him and the others, they have slowly started to regard them with less threat and even engage in small talks or being invited to hang out.

"My spook! I have to say, this is the most well-made cake I have seen in my class!" said an elderly woman dressed in rustic clothes and with a pair of blue-trimmed glasses. She is Ms.Kindelbrünger, and in spite of her human appearance, she is a mage or in this case, a witch. A being that is human in almost every way, except for their inherent practice and mastery of magic arts. "I admit I had my doubts a normie would do well in my class, but I gladly admit I was wrong, young Kenneth."

"Thank you very much, Ms.Kindelbrünger," Ken replied with a smile, adding the finishing touches to the dessert. "But I only followed the recipe, that is all." he humbly replied, finishing the sweet confection and presenting it to the teacher. Many montsers were left wide-eyed at the beatifully intricate details that look like they were done by a professional chef in the domain of pastries.

"Ken truly does have a talent for baking, or rather a talent for about everything," Frankie Stein added from her seat, just as transfixed as the others on the human teen and his creation.

"Yeah. That guy is always out there to help any-monster," Deuce Gorgon commented. "He's spooky-cool."

"He is also very kind," added a girl with green skin and hair like seaweed.

"And very helpful!" exclaimed a girl with brown feathers and wings for arms.

"And very handsome~" added a girl with tan skin, long elven ears and hair styled in a ponytail.

"I-I guess he is!" Frankie exclaimed with sparks of electricity releasing from her bolts.

(*)

As the class ended, Ken packed up his things and headed towards the exit. He had been enjoying his time at Monster High, finding the classes to be both unique and educational in spite of their quaint approaches.

Speaking of which, along the way, he was greeting the other students. They in return greeted the noble teen back and some girls going gigglish over him, much to his obliviousness.

"Hey! Hey! Ken!" exclaimed Leon, going over to him. "Always the most popular one, dude. If you weren't my best buddy, I'd be jealous!"

"We both know I am not one for popularity, Leon. I just want to help others," Ken explained with a smile.

Leon simply laughted, patting his shoulder. "Another reason I can't stay mad at you, dude. Honestly, you're like a saint sometimes. The more cool one that doesn't preach, that'd be spooky-weird. And not the awesome kind."

Ken smiled, trying not to laugh. "Always nice talking to you, but I must also go to my next class."

"Yep, I know. You're the always on-time guy," Leon said, understanding. "Too bad I can't join you and instead had to..." he dramatically shivered. "go to Math. Brr!"

"What is wrong with Calcometry 101?" Ken asked, curious.

Leon cringed at the question. "Dude, I'll say you're just lucky to not have classes with the Headmiss. Even at the Advanced Maths back home we'd never get that much homework! That's the only thing that I consider scary since coming here, honestly. Plus, it feels like she has a grudge with me or some ghoul. Wonder why?"

"But you still do your assignments," the noble teen countered. He knew Leon since first enrolling at the Academy, and was among one of the few that could tolerate his crazy antics and unsuccesful flirting with the girls back home. To Ken, while Leon looks and even admits his irresponsibility, he also considers him one of the most trustworthy and in spite of his antics, one of the most hard-working persons around.

"And not like I have much of a choice," Leon finished with an eye-roll accompanied with a cheecky smile. "Still. See you later, bud!" he waved, going on his way.

Monster High - Mad Science

After his small talk with Leon, the next class for the noble teen was Mad Science.

At first he found the class not safe because it focuses on experiments that don't have actually a safe foundation for practice. In spite of that he saw the teacher, Mr. Hackington, genuinely cares about the students and wouldn't want to risk their lives in such activities, but strangely still encourages their pursuit.

This is probably the reason why his friend Leon loves this activity.

In today's class, they were assigned a group experiment that could create in the very best case a formula that could supernaturally accelerate the growth spur of hair. Such a formula could help many that suffer from hair loss back in his world, but as most fascinating discoveries, the process in creating such a compound is dangerous.

This was previously demonstrated by many others that got even one mililiter wrong and their vials straight up blasted in their faces or some unlucky ones being covered by rapidly growing hair.

Ken's assigned partner for this project was Frankie Stein, the daughter of the fabled Frankenstein. A being created from stiched human remains and brought back to life using unknown science and the power of lightning.

He didn't have much time to interract with her, but knew and saw that the reanimated girl was someone with a kind heart that didn't judge him or the others when they came to Monster High. Since then, she had few other interractions with them, but nonetheless kept a small distance, most likely to give him and the others space to adapt to the new enviroment, yet engaged in small talks or gave an useful advice from time to time.

Since their joined assignment began, the reanimated girl proved herself as a brilliant scientist, having perfect knowledge about each and every chemical substance in the lab, and with her guidance, now they are one step away from completing the formula.

"Go Ken!" shouted Deuce, encouraging him.

"Guuuh!" exclaimed Ghoulia.

"You can do it, Ken," Frankie encouraged him. "Just a perfect drop, nothing more, nothing less from the red vial and it's complete!"

"Quiet over here!" Mr. Hackington demanded from his chair, but he was just as anxious to see Ken's result.

He must be very careful. He only needs one drop...

DRIP*

"..."

"..."

"You did it!" exclaimed Frankie, electricity sparking from her bolts.

"He did it!" Deuce exclaimed, clapping and whistling for the human.

"He did it!?" Hackington exclaimed, shocked.

"I did, sir," Ken confirmed with a smile, presenting the finished vial to the teacher.

"Seems perfect," Hackington commented, analyzing the glass.

"Another perfect work Mrs. Stein, and for you Mr. Gregory, yet another A and eventless day." he sighed, giving both of them their grades on paper.

(*)

After the bell ringed, Ken was once again on the halls, heading to the last class of today.

As usual, many crowded the noble teen, some being interested in his achievements, others on his looks, and most recently, after yesterday's incident, interested in his relationship status. Ken was none the wiser about this part, but didn't mind or indulge in the presence of ones that have become fascinated with one of the newcoming humans.

"It's ironic how you remind me of that royal pain sometimes."

Recognising that voice, in one corner, Ken met the owner. It is Blake, more focused on his locker than making eye-contact.

Since the stink bomb incident, both of them had to deal with a number of students becoming their fans. Ken wasn't really bothered, but Blake obviously was, especially since more hordes of zombies had started to follow him almost everywhere. It was annoying the first time when defeating Manny at dodgeskull, but they eventually stopped. AND now after Leon's idiotic plan to charm Toralei.

"You had it easy while I'm literally followed by zombies I don't even understand. I had to go around the whole school just to get away from them," he said tiredly.

Ken chuckled, shaking his head. "I guess that from your perspective I am, Blake," He replied, not seemingly angered. "Besides, we are here to help them. We must try our best after all."

The gray-haired teen merely rolled his eyes. "The fact that you don't actually have any hidden reason like 'Mickey' is the problem. I've known you long enough to say you're just a kind-hearted moron that wants to help everybody."

"Every-Monster," Ken corrected, unfazed by his words.

"Fine. 'Every-Monster'," the gray-haired teen sighed. "Make me a favour and don't start talking like Leon, please."

"Hm, what is wrong with talking like this?" Ken asked. "Almost everybody in Monster High uses words like these."

Blake just sighed again, shaking his head. "Yeah, I know."

"It was still nice speaking with you Blake. See you later," Ken said, going on his way.

"Someone like you fits everywhere unlike me," the gray-haired teen muttered, taking out his book for the next class then closed the locker. "Let's just get this day over wit-"

"Make way!" shouted an all too familiar voice that the gray-haired teen recognised.

Rushing through the halls was Clawdeen Wolf and as if fate had something against the human teen, she straight up collided into him, both falling.

"Really? Again!?" both teens groaned simultaneously. They paused for a moment realising their words.

"Why did I bump into you of all normies in this school?" she snarled, getting back up and picking her book.

"Ask if I know," Blake replied back, getting up and dusting his jacket.

"Well, I'm late because of you!" she said to the human teen.

"You were late before that, didn't you?" he countered with a snark.

"Whatever!" Clawdeen huffed. "Just get out of my way!"

Blake just sighed. "Alright, alright, I'm going," he replied, stepping aside to let her pass.

As Clawdeen walked away, the teen couldn't help but let out a long sigh. Escaping from zombies seems more easy than talking to her.

After that annoying pep-advice from the sketchy fox about waiting to let her calm down since a few days ago, they both ignored each other. This was actually the first time since that incident where they were face-to-face and talked. Honestly, he shouldn't even care about about what others think of him, but seeing her angry at him... just doesn't sit right in some way.

"I think I'm cursed sometimes," he groaned, picking up his book. But he didn't even pay attention to the fact that it was a different colour.

Monster High - Pool

The pool of Monster High, one of the school's attractions. Other than living up to it's spooky details with shadows that seem to be alive, the murky green water in the pool is one that hides secrets in it's depth, or at least that's what the rumors say because other than it's asthetic, it looks quite regular.

Ken, for his part had the swimming class this day, meaning that he had to change his wardrobe to a pair of white swimming trunks with cursory gold lines traversing halfway through the lower end while his upper half showed to those that were in the passing his muscular phisique and abs, attacting either jealousy from the guys or amorous stares from the girls.

"Oh no!" was heard, which made the teen move and find where it originated. Not just a few steps and he remet Frankie Stein along with Draculaura, the adopted daughter of the infamous vampire Dracula, or rather one of the many that have beared the name throught the history of this world. Even she doesn't seem to know if her adopeted parent was the original Dracula or not.

"My necklace!" the vampire girl exclaimed, gazing with teary eyes at the pool.

Ken, in his nature, stepped in to help. "Draculaura? Frankie? What happened?" he asked, trying to understand what happened that made them both look so distressed.

Draculaura looked up at him, her voice shaking. "My necklace... it fell into the pool. It fell in THE DEEP END!" she exclaimed with an ominous echo to the last words.

"Deep end?" Ken questions.

"I-It is my fault it fell," Frankie admitted. "It looked so gorgeos and wanted to try it, but my bolts reacted to the metal." she paused, feeling guilty. "I am so sorry, Draculaura. I'll get it back, I promise!" she said, moving closer to the pool.

"No, you don't understand!" Draculaura said, stopping her friend. "It's in THE DEEP END!" she repeated with the same ominous echo. "It's gone forever!" she wailed, attracting a curious Lagoona to their side.

"Hush, hush. What's this about the deep end?" she said, whispering those last three words.

"I dropped Draculaura's necklace down there but... but I'm gonna get it back!" Frankie declared.

"No one! No one goes in THE DEEP END!" Draculaura exclaimed in fear.

"I don't understand it, Draculaura," Ken said.

"Yeah! Why is everybody acting so weird about 'The Deep End'!"

"THE DEEP END!!!" A passing-by green-skinned zombie screamed and much to their surprise, he jumped out of the window. "I'm okay!" the zombie teen said, at least easing some of their worries.

"Ken, Frankie. The pool at Monster High is the deepest in the world!" Lagoona explains, going over a billboard. There, an ancient map was plastered, detailing the depth of the pool with parts bearing the question mark. If the map is right, the pool seems to go even deeper than the human and monster pair could believe with what they have seen being one level hiding it's true depth. "No one knows what lurks way down under there!"

Frankie gulps. "Well, I'm going in!" she declared before the wide-eyed teens. "I caused this mess and I'm gonna fix it!"

"And I will help as well," Ken announced, taking out his ICoffin. If he and Frankie are about to head down there to retrieve the necklace, then they must be properly equipped. Fortunately, he knows who can provide equipment in such short notice. "Hello, Mr. Seimei?"

(*)

"So, let me get this. Frankie dropped a necklace from Dracula's daughter over here into an impossibly deep pool and Mr. Compassion offered to tag in and help?" Blake summarized, trying to comprehend all that he was told by Ken and Frankie. He turned to face Seimei who not so recently busted into his upcoming class and dragged him out. "Then why am I here?"

"I needed help carrying their diving suits, young Blake. They are quite omoi, you know~," the fox-earred man answered with a cheecky smile. "Plus, after receiving young Ken's phone call, how could I say no to such a daring questou in THE DEEP END!" he exclaimed as his silvery-white fox tail swings in the air. "Plus, you're excused for your class!~" he then turned to the monster teens. "Oh, and I talked to Bloodgood-chan to cancel today's swim class so the rest of you will be in no mondais!"

"That's spooktacular!" Lagoona exclaimed. "Thanks mate!"

"Don't thank him. It's going to go over his head," the gray-haired teen replied with an eye-roll. Well, at least he won't get in any more trouble wit the teachers because he noticed quite late that he's got a book he doesn't recognise. Most likely it's the one carried by Clawdeen when they both fell. Other problems for the future it seems...

"Are you done over there?" Blake asked, just as Ken and Frankie returned from the changing rooms.

Both are wearing deep sea diving suits, or more commonly known as heavy gear. They are among the first generation of diving suits made especially for diving in deep waters, but as time passed, they got replaced by their more modern and weightless variants.

"I can't thank you enough, Mr. Seimei," Ken said grateful to their host.

"I know, I know~ I'm quite sugoi and resorceful," Seimei boasted with a toothy smile.

"But couldn't you give them something else?" Blake asked. "Why do you even have these ancient suits anyway?"

"I'm a fox that loves to keep mementos, young Blake, especially of my current or former companies," Seimei replied with a smug smile. "And I've got special cameras installed in the helmets so I can see and hear young Ken and Frankie and guide them if the situation calls for it."

"You two don't have to do this!" Draculaura pleaded. "I'll just tell Clawd that... *hic* that I lost it!!!" she cried, making the reanimated girl feel more guilt.

"A bit late for that," Blake muttered.

"No, no, no!" Frankie declared, putting on the glass helmet, compleing the suit. "I'm gonna make this right."

"If you're going mates, then I'm going with ya," Lagoona declared.

"I'm not going for another diving suit," Blake announced.

"I'm a sea creature, Blake. I can easily breathe underwater," Lagoona stated with a frown.

"Fine. Suit yourself," the teen replied with a sigh.

(*)

Ken and Frankie made their way to the edge of the pool. They were accompanied by Lagoona who had changed in a simple one-piece pink swimsuit. The costumed teens checked their equipment one last time before jumping in.

The water was murky and dark, making it hard to see anything beyond a few feets. As they began their descent, they immediatly hit the bottom, or rather just the end of the first layer.

"Evrything good, gakis?" Seimei asked from the communicating device hidden in the helmets.

"Nothing seems wrong, Mr. Seimei," Ken said from his line.

"The suits are working, thought it's a little hard to see," Frankie said. "How are you Lagoona?"

"I'm fine, mate," the aquatic girl answered. "Now, let's swim away. There should be an opening not that far."

"Alright," Ken said, following Lagoona's lead.

The costumed teens swam through the murky water, their heavy diving suits making it difficult to move quickly. After indeed a short moment, they reached a corner full of algae.

"According to the map, this should be where the opening that leads to the deep end is, shounens," Seimei informed them.

"I only see algae. What if..." Frankie said, swimming closer and trying to get the aquatic plants away. "Please help me, Ken."

The human teen nodded, approaching her and together with Lagoona, they started to remove the plants. After a bit of underwater weeding, they managed to uncover a large crack-like opening.

"This must be it," Ken said. The trio swam through the opening, finding themselves in an underwater tunnel.

(*)

"Daijobu! Now, keep swimming in the tunnel and you will reach the next layer soon," Seimei informed them.

"I really hope they'll be fine," the vampire girl worried. "What if something else find them before they find the necklace?! I don't want to lose my friends to THE DEEP END!!!"

"Don't worry, Draculaura-chan! They will be daijobu! They have moi to guide them!" the fox earred-man pointed out. "Why don't you go and take a breath of fresh air to calm yourself?" Seimei proposed with a smile.

The vampire girl shackly nodded. "I-I guess you're right. Maybe they will be 'daijobu', as you said."

"That's the attitude!" Seimei exclaimed. "Young Blake, why don't you guide her out." he said to the gray-haired teen that didn't respond.

"Young Blake?"

"I can go out alone, thank you," Draculaura said to him, walking out through the door.

"Mataku, young Blake! They didn't teach you how to act like a gentleman towards an ojou-chan?" Seimei asked with crossed arms. "Good thing, young Ken called! I was bored with my current project and they needed a great leader like ore to guide them!"

"They know what to do even without you telling them," Blake commented, laying down on nearby bench.

"True, true, BUT you never know!" Seimei declared. "What if they encounter something strange or dangerous? I can't let my favorite gaki down!" he exclaimed, then pausing and tail dropping on the floor. "Oopsie... maybe I shouldn't have told you that part."

"I don't even care," the teen replied, not even bothering to make eye contact, but just staring at the ceiling.

Seimei saw this and tilted his head. "Ehto... Something happened, gaki?"

"No."

"Something did happend then," he decalred. "You're less chatty and the lack of hidoi remarks towards my greatness is a sign something DID happen!"

"No."

"Let's see... It must be girl problems or ghoul problems as we put it in New Salem!"

"No."

"Then it's totally ghoul problems! Definetly an aitou problem by that look of yours!" Seimei exclaimed.

"What does it matter to you, damn fox," Blake clicked his tongue. "I didn't even want to be here and most importantly in this world fighting whatever the Orphenoch are!"

"Then why you fought and protected miss okami back then?" Seimei countered. "You could've run away but stood brave and fought to protect her even if you didn't know you'd survive that strike."

"And since that time, I feel like I'm living a nightmare!" the teen countered, getting up to face the one that summoned him from his world. "I'm surrounded with the most annoying people I tried to get away back in the Academy almost on daily basis because of you, then during the rest of time, I'm chased by zombies that want my damn autograph!"

Seimei tilted his head. "I don't get it, gaki. You don't want a bit of fame at Monster High and a few admirers? This is every teenager dream!"

"Not my kind dream!" Balke growled, turning to leave.

Seimei wanted to comment, but suddenly paused as his eyes widened and glowed in pink light before returning to their normal colour. "Uh... gaki?"

"What? Can't you see I'm-" the gray-haired teen paused, seeing what made the fox-earred man sound scared. In spite of that, he manged to point at the bangle on Blake's wrist. It started glowing stronger and stronger.

"You gotta be-"

ROAR!*

Blake suddenly jumped back as the shadow cast by a top window began to glow a dim-green.

What crawled out like a mad beast was a Orphenoch. It was huge, being almost twice the teen's size and covered in scarred scales for armor and elongated shoulders with it's face being covered in rows of grotesque sharp teeth, not to mention the rest of it's form having the same bony sharp teeth protuding from parts around it's body.

Blake barely had time to react as the massive Orphenoch charged at him. The gray-haired teen quickly rolled out of the way, narrowly avoiding the creature's deadly claws. He got back to his feet, his eyes locked on the monstrous beast. He somehow can tell from a glance that this Orphenoch must be stronger then the previous ones he faced.

The beast let out a silent growl and began to charge once again at the teen.

"Gaki!" Seimei exclaimed, snapping his fingers towards the creature. The next moment, pink energy began to surround the creature as a dome-like structure began to manifest around it.

Blake watched as the Orphenoch struggled against the confinement of the dome. There was no more doubt that the creature was powerful as it began to strike the barrier with it's scaled hands, already starting to break away at it.

"Give me the belt!" Blake demanded, eyeing the fox-earred man who was surprised as him by the crocodile-like Orphenoch sheer strength.

"R-Right away!" Seimei exclaimed. "A belt for our young eiyuu coming right-"

"Do it!" Blake snapped.

"Rude," Seimei pouted, snapping his fingers as the familiar briefcase containing the Faiz Gear appeared before the teen.

Blake opened it and quickly strapped the belt to his waist. He took out the cellphone and opened it.

(5-5-5)

[Standing By!]

"Henshin!" he shouted, raising the phone above his head before connecting it to the belt, sliding it.

[Complete!]

A surge of energy pulses through the red bars, releasing laser-like projections around Blake's body. With another glow, he was clad in the futuristic armor, becoming Faiz.

Just in time, as the Orphenoch landed the finishing punch to the barrier, breaking it away. It let out a primal roar as it lunged towards Blake, ready to tear him apart. But the transformed teen was ready for the attack. With a quick movement, he unleashed a punch right in the creature's chest!

The attack connected and Blake immediatly unleashed another torrent of attacks, but the Orphenoch suddenly stood still. Now, no matter how many punches the teen throwed at it, the crocodile-like creature never moved or seemed in pain, almost as it wanted to mock him.

"Turn to dust already!" Faiz scremed, throwing punch after punch, but his attacks just weren't strong enough. A fact that was noticed by Seimei.

"Gaki! Get away! It's too strong!" He warned him.

"Shut up!" Faiz shouted in defiance, immediatly reaching for the briefcase and took out the silver camera, then immediatly inserted the mission memory.

[Ready!]

The device announced, switching it's handle, becoming a knuckle duster-like weapon. Next, he pressed the ENTER button on the strapped phone.

[Exceed Charge!]

Red energy sparked in the right bar, traveling throught the lines of the armor and into the transformed weapon.

"Ahhh!" Faiz charged, hitting the Orphenoch with full power. Red energy began to envelop it as the symbol of Faiz manifested behind it's back, but even with the power of the Exceed Charge, the crocodile-like creature only budged. Next, it let out a monstruos roar as the energy formed around it's body vanished.

"Ducking he-" before the armored teen could finish, he was hit with a powerful hook in his helmet, sending him tumbling across the room.

Seimei eyes widened. "Gaki!" He immediatly rushed at the teen, clearly seeing that he's in pain even with the armor on.

[Shutdown!]

The belt announced as the red lines glowed once more before returning to the belt, dissolving the suit.

"D-Damn it-" Blake groaned, feeling like he was hit by a truck.

ROAR!*

Seimei gulped as the Orphenoch, stepped forward, intent on finshing it's opponent!

Instead of scared, he suddey sighed as his tone switched to menacing. "I really, really, REALLY don't want to do this, but I must!" Seimei exclaimed as his eyes glowed golden and pink energy surrounded his body.

"W-What are you doing?" asked Blake, never seeing the fox-earred man look so serios.

"Without Kiichi, this takes a lot of my chikara, but I must do it, gaki!" He shouted, raising his hand as it glowed with a strange power.

Blake could only remain silent, not helped by his injured state, wandering if Seimei is going to fight the Orphenoch? Can he even fight to begin with?

"Hisatsu!" he shouted as the energy soon began to envelop the human teen as well. "Vanishing Mahou!"

"Huh?!" The teen shouted incredulously as both began to glow and vanish in a show of golden particles, leaving behind the Orphenoch.

(*)

Blake awoke with a start, disoriented and confused. He found himself lying on a soft surface, his head pounding as he tried to sit up. As his vision cleared, he realized he was in a familiar room - his childhood bedroom.

"Been a while since I had this dream," He muttered, looking around nostalgically. For a moment, he smiled at the scenery before letting out a sad sigh. "At least it's not all covered in fire like the last times."

"...Gaki..."

"Huh?"

"...Gaki..."

"Who said that?"

"GAKIII!"

(*)

The teen jumped awake, his first sight being the relieved face of Seimei that was too close for him.

"Gaki!" The fox-earred man exclaimed, immediatly bringing the teen in a hug. "Yokata! Thank the kamis you're daijobu!"

"Seimei?" He asked groggily. The next moment, he's trying to break away from the hug. "Let me go."

"Mou! Why can't you make a happy face once in a while!" Seimei pouted, releasing the human teen. "I get I'm not a kawaii shoujo, but it's still rude to not thank the one that saved you from being Orphenoch meal."

"Huh? What are..." the teen paused, reccolecting his memories. His eyes widened remembering the fight against the crocodile-like Orphenoch at the school's pool and getting manhandled like that even after unleashing the 'Exceed Charge' attack.

"Do you remember now?" Seimei asked, receiving a slow nod from the teen. "Good, good."

"How long was I out?" he asked.

"About four minutes," the fox-earred man casually answered.

"Then what happened to that Orphenoch? Did you call the others to fight it by now?"

"Ehto... nope," Seimei replied in a child-like tone. "I've sorta how do you say... lost it."

"That thing is way stronger then the others that came before and you lost it!" The teen exclaimed.

"I know where it is, gaki!" Seimei huffed. "I simply don't have the necessary equipment to reach it!"

"What does that even mean?" Blake asked.

"Well~ You know how the Orphenochs that bear resemblance to animals have similar abilities, weapons or weaknesses... That also goes for it's habitat as our vicious wani seems to be doing."

"There's even a swamp in-" Blake paused as his eyes widened. "It's in the damn pool, isn't it?" he asked, receiving long silence which isn't a good sign. "And let me guess, it's not just there for a swim, but after the others."

"Yess... uh, nope... hm... most likely."

Monster High - The Deep End

After discovering the tunnel, the three teens began swimming. It took a bit of orienting, but as they got deeper, the water became clearer and they reached the bottom of the infamous pool of Monster High, otherwise knows as The Deep End.

Exiting through the long tunnel, it felt like they were out into an ocean rather than a pool as the bottom was filled with remanants of wooden ships, marine life which includes exotic fishes, jellyfishes, or in Frankie's case a large anglerfish that was about to take a bite from her. Nonetheless, they kept searching for the necklace of Draculaura.

"Other than that incident, I still think The Deep End is kinda nice," she commented.

"That's a great attitude, ghoul," Lagoona complimented her.

"She is right. Sooner we will find your friend's necklace," Ken added.

"T-Thanks Ken!" Frankie replied with a blush.

"Are you feeling alright, Frankie?" Ken asked her. "I know you want to make amends for your mistake, but we can rest if you're feeling unwell."

"Oh! Y-You see-"

"Do... re...ad...gakis...hear..."

"Mr. Seimei?" Ken asked, hearing the familiar, but distorted voice of the fox-earred man in their ears.

"Y...young Keeeeen...E...rgency...C-C--C...lose...OOOOR...CCCHHH..."

"We can't hear you well," Frankie said.

"Y...oung Frankie! Y-Y-Y-You m-m-must gooooo...#%@%@$"

"Mr. Seimei? Mr. Seimei? Do you hear us?" Ken asked from his line.

"Seems like the depth is causing trouble for the signal to properly reach," Frankie concluded.

"Wonder what he wanted to say," Lagoona commented. "Maybe we should go back up and check?"

"No! I can't disappoint Draculaura! Because of me that necklace is here and I'm gonna find it!" the stiched girl declared to her friend.

"I know you feel bad, Frankie, but it was an accident," Ken said to her. "Draculaura is your friend and she must be worried for you."

"Ken is right. You must..." Lagoona paused. "Huh? What is with your hand, mate?" she pointed at the teen's left wrist. In spite of the thick suit that protected him from the enviroment, the red glow of the bracelet underneath was visible.

Ken eyes widened, now understanding what Mr. Seimei tried to told them. There is an Orphenoch here.

SWOOSH!*

"What was that that!?" The stiched girl asked, seeing something like a gray blur swimming around them.

FWOOSH!*

"It did that again!" Lagoona exclaimed. She narrowed her eyes. "All be quiet."

"But why!?" Frankie exclaimed.

"This is a common tactic for predators to surround and confuse the prey before attacking them."

Following the aquatic girl, the teens stood still.

(*)

"Run, idiots!" shouted Blake to the image barely visible through the fox-earred man ICoffin.

"They barely can hear you, gaki," Seimei said, just as worried for the others sake.

"Then do something! Teleport them or that thing far away!"

"I wish I could, but it's fukanou. It's impossible this deep," he uttered, lowering his head in shame.

"They can't make it..."

RING-RING!*

Suddenly, the fox earred-man phone rang, signaling somebody was looking for him.

"Hello?" Seimei answered. "Young 'Mickey'?"

"When I thought this day couldn't get any worse," Blake sighed.

"Well yes. Yes. No. Maybe we're quite in the mondai.~ Hm, nope, it's not young Blake's fault," Seimei said to the phone. The next moment, his eyes widened. "...You know how to help, gaki?!" He exclaimed, getting Blake's attention.

(*)

"Is it getting closer?" Frankie whispered, her voice trembling.

FWOOSH!*

"Seems that way," Lagoona commented. The teens held their breaths, their hearts pounding as the gray blur had taken on a more defined shape, revealing itself to be an Orphenoch bearing a crocodile-like appearance, having countless teeth for a face.

"W-What is that..." Frankie managed to say, paralyzed in fear.

"I-I don't know," the aquatic girl uttered in the same state like her friend.

"We need to act fast," Ken said, his voice steady despite the urgency. He glanced at Frankie and Lagoona, seeing their fear. He must do something, but what?

FWOOSH!*

"The necklace!" the stiched girl uttered, seeing a purple octopus-like creature swim past them. In one of it's tentacles, it cluched a heart-shaped jewel necklace.

Forgetting the danger they are, she immediatly swimmed after the octopus.

"Frankie!" Lagoona exclaimed, going after her.

ROAR!*

Unfortunately, the Orphenoch decided to do the same and follow her!

"No!" shouted Ken, diving straight into the creature!

"Mate!" Lagoona exclaimed.

"Go!" The teen shouted, struggling to hold the Orphenoch in a chokehold. "Help Frankie!"

Lagoona shook her head. "I can't leave you like that!" But Ken's face remained resolute, his eyes locked on the beast as he wrestled to keep its snapping jaws at bay. Lagoona hesitated for a moment, then glanced at the rapidly disappearing shape of Frankie.

"Go, Lagoona!" Ken repeated, his voice strained but firm.

"Alright!" she finally nodded, going after her friend.

ROAR!*

"You won't escape!" The teen declared, knowing it is was a bluff as only by a sheer miracle or lack of intelligence, the Orphenoch didn't manage to free itself yet.

"GAKIIII!"

Turning his head up, Ken saw a swirl in the water traveling like a torpedo and headed straight into him!

Immediatly, he let go of the Orphenoch as the speeding object straight up hit the creature.

The teen felt the resulting impact bursting in the water as the Orphenoch's body was struck by the incoming object, which revealed itself to be the transforming vehicle, Auto Vajin. The force of the robot stunned the creature, momentarily giving Ken a small window to breathe.

"A-A-Are... you a-alright, gaki?" the robot said, bearing the voice of Seimei, althought glitched.

"Mr. Seimei?" The teen asked.

"Ikanimo! I-I-It is ore! The great-"

"Quit it!"

"Blake?"

"Hi-Hi-Hidoi, young Blake!"

"Just give him th-that paper!"

"Mou! Alright," the robot extended it's hand, showing a small sheet of paper bearing foreign symbols. It looks like a foreign talisman but how it didn't deteriorate in the water?

"Ta-Take this and stick it to that vile wani," Seimei explained. "It has a te-teleportation mahou that should transport bo-both to a place for fight."

"Alright," Ken nodded, taking the slip of paper in his hands. The teen clutched the paper, putting his faith in the fox-earred host. As he turned back to the Orphenoch, he saw the beast was angry as it's massive mouth opened in a horrific shape. It's angry and no longer wants to play with the prey standing before it.

"Here goes nothing," he muttered, diving together with the robot to the crocodile-like abomination.

"Ikee!" shouted the robot, propulsing itself to the Orphenoch, using it's mechanic arms to grab the creature by the waist managing to hold it. The Orphenoch thrashed violently, causing the water surrounding them to churn with its immense strength.

As Ken held onto the paper tightly, his heart pounding in his chest. He carefully swimmed closer to the creature and entrusting his life to the one that summoned them in this world, he pressed the paper slip against it's chest. That moment, the talisman began to glow with a pink light, soon enveloping the three in a burst of light.

The next moment, they disappeared, as if they never were in such a place to begin with.

???

Appearing in a flash of light, the noble teen was surprised, finding himself in a light-up cave. The walls of the cave were illuminated by bioluminescent mushrooms, casting a warm, eerie glow. The air was thick with the smell of damp earth, and the sound of dripping water echoed softly in the cavern.

Ken blinked, trying to get his bearings. Beside him, Auto Vajin struggled to not let the Orphenoch escape. The machine possessed great power, but even that wasn't enough before the angered crocodile-like abomination.

"Up here!"

Ken looked up, noticing the familiar mechanic crow named Kiichi, bearing a large metallic suitcase. Next, it dropped it close to the teen.

"Open it, gaki!" the bird shouted. Ken nodded, doing as he was told.

Inside the briefcase, he gazed at a silvtheand dark-gray belt with yellow-bars along with a dark gray phone. The celular device is bearing on front a purple circle with a yellow x, having golden lines crossing the corners of the phone's edge. The final item displayed was a large golden ruler that looks like a curved x letter.

"What is..." Ken uttered. This isn't the Faiz Gear that he saw Blake and the others use to fight in the videos.

"No time for hitsumons!" the crow shouted. "It is still untested, but it's your best shot!"

Nodding, Ken quickly strapped the silver belt around his waist. He picked up the phone, feeling the weight of it in his hand. Unlike the silver phone used to transform into Faiz, this one opened by flipping the cap. The screen flickered to life with a golden glow, displaying a series of codes. He noticed the first code, bearing next to it the x-shaped emblem.

(9-1-3)

Next, he pressed the ENTER button.

[Standing By!]

The phone announced in a rasping and robotic male voice, as it began beeping.

Raising the cellphone above his head just like the others did, he said. "Henshin!" Then, he connected it to the belt blank space, sliding it.

[Complete!]

Yellow energy pulses through the bars, emmiting a powerful shockwave that shakes the very cave itself as four laser-like projections erupt and surround Ken's body.

With another glow, the teen was now clad in a sleek body suit, bearing a dark gray armor with the yellow lines crossing into an X shape then separate into two pairs that travel through his arms and legs that are covered in futuristic silver braces and knees armor. His head was now covered in a pitch-black helmet with a silber arrowline and crimson triangular gem on his forehead and silver mouthguard with a round purple visor as well as yellow lines that were intersecting into an X-shape around the visor, ending in a pair of long sharp tips like antenae, giving similarly Faiz, the impression of giant bug-like eyes.

"Alright, gaki, you're ready!" The voice of Seimei echoed through the cave, being a mix of pride and urgency. "NOW, be prepared to face the wrath of Kamen Rider Kaixa, vile wani!" it shouted at the Orphenoch.

Upon seeing the now-named Kaixa, the Orphenoch, still clutched by Auto Vajin, roared in defiance, the intensity of its anger more than clear. The transformed robot could not hold it any longer and the crocodile-like Orphenoch freed itself and slashed at it's captor with it's claws, sending it away.

(Damage Detected! Switch Mode!)

The machine announced, it's form smoking and chest teared through like it was paper. It immediatly switched back to motorcycle form as it fell on the ground.

As Auto Vajin transformed back, Ken, or rather Kaixa assessed the situation at hand.

The otherworldly beast massive, scaly form is tough and resiliant from analysis, adding with it's sharp claws that could easily tear through Auto Vajin tough plating made it a formidable opponent.

Althought he didn't say it, the armored teen knows Mr. Seimei didn't gave him this armor for no reason.

He had to act fast before the Orphenoch could close the distance.

Grabbing the x-shaped ruler, he quickly checked the item, noticing a muzzle-like end on one part along with a hidden trigger. Carefully, he pulled the handle from the other side which acted as a safety.

[Burst Mode!]

The weapon announced, and Kaixa aimed the end at the Orphenoch.

He pulled the trigger unleasing a blast of yellow light that hit the creature perfectly in the chest. The Orphenoch let out a pained roar as the blast from Kaixa's weapon. The wound generated already sparked with blue flames, but the crocodile-like beast didn't fall. Instead, it swiped at Kaixa with its claws, trying to close the distance.

Kaixa sidestepped the attack, thanks to his reflexes and perception heightened by the armor. Doing so, he unleashed two blasts of energy towards the creature's back and another towards it's head. The first blast brought it to it's knees and the headshot made it fall painfully on the ground.

"Sugoi, gaki!" The crow praised Kaixa upon seeing his prowess.

"Thank you, Mr. Seimei," Kaixa responded.

"Now, insert the memory in your weapon and unleash your hisatsu!"

Nodding, Kaixa removed the mission memory bearing his face and inserted it in the back of the x-shaped ruler.

[Ready!]

The lower end began glowing and extending as a blade of silver and yellow manifested.

Next, he side-opened the phone and pressed the ENTER button before closing it.

[Exceed Charge!]

The right bar sparked to life as yellow energy began traveling towards Kaixa right arm and into the weapon.

The armored teen took aim and shot at the Orphenoch. Upon contact, the energy from the bullet of light covers the crocodile-like creature, paralyzing it. Instinctively knowing what to do, he crouched down, taking position before rushing with the blade aimed at the Orphenoch. The moment he was in striking range, light bathed Kaixa before vanishing from sight.

The next moment, he stood before the Orphenoch that now beared an x-shaped scar across it's body that glowed and enlarged before the crocodile-like abomination burst into fire and scattered into ashes.

[Shutdown!]

The phone announced as the lines forming Kaixa suit glowed and retracted back in the belt, dissolving the armor.

Ken, now standing amidst the remnants of the Orphenoch, felt a sense of ease, knowing that he took care of the creature without anyone getting hurt. The cave was quiet, save for the echo of the it's final roar and the faint hum of the bioluminescent mushrooms.

"Nice job, young Ken!" the mechanic crow exclaimed, sitting on a nearby rock.

"It was all thanks to you, Mr. Seimei," the armored teen humbly replied, suddenly beginning to feel dizzy.

"Always so humble. The other gakis could learn a thing or-"

THUD!*

"Oh my kami... NOT AGAIN!"

Monster High - Pool

"Have you found him!?" Frankie exclaimed, her tone full of worry. After seeing Draculaura's necklace in that octopus tentacles, she immediatly chased after the giant octopus that had it and lead her to it's nest where it stored countless treasures and items that fell in the pool. She fought nail and bolt for that necklace, but obtained it and convinced the purple cephalopod to give back the rest of the stuff lost by Monster High students.

But, after, she and Lagoona have been trying to find Ken after he confronted the strange crocodile-like creature.

"Sorry mate," Lagoona sadly replied. "We've been swimming around the whole tunnel twice already and there's no trace of him and that creature."

"It's my fault..." Frankie uttered, hugging herself. "If only I wasn't so obsessed with the necklace..."

"Easy, mate. Ken's a tough normie. I'm sure he's fine," Lagoona said, trying to cheer her up.

"But what if-"

POOF!*

"Of course he is fine, ojou-chans!" Seimei exclaimed, appearing out of a cloud of smoke. Alongside him was Blake who looked to be more or less, deadly tired.

"You know where he is!?" Frankie exclaimed, grabbing the fox-earred man tuxedo.

"Y-Yes! He is daijobu! Just tired from his ordeal and stayed back to help young Blake with yours truly!" he answered, slightly scared by the strength of the reanimated girl. "Could you please let me go... please?"

"Thank ghoul he's fine," she weaved a sigh, before regaining her sense, noticing what she's doing. "O-Oh! Sorry!" she said, letting him go.

"But where where you three?" Draculaura asked, pointing at them. At these words, Seimei gave a mischevious sharp-toothed smile, one directed not at the girls, but at the gray-haired teen.

"It is quite simple~! The reason young Blake was so gloomy and in need of help is because he wanted to give Miss Clawdeen a gift!"

"Wha-" the aforementioned tried saying, but painfully bit his tongue, knowing that now is not the right time.

"Really!" All three girls exclaimed.

"I knew it!" Draculaura smiled.

"That must be why Clawdeen acted so strange these days!" Lagoona exclaimed.

"Have you found a gift for her!?" asked Frankie.

Seimei chuckled, "Oh, you can be sure he found something quite... unique, ojou-chans~ But what is with this crowd I see?" He pointed at the entrance of the pool where a particularly long line was formed with monster students of all ages and species waiting with anticipated breath.

"We found Draculaura's necklace along with other lost stuff and I've convinced the creature that holded it to give it back," Frankie pridefully answered.

"Really?" Seimei asks.

"You bet, mate!" Lagoona confirmed it.

"That is indeed great. Indeed, a victory thanks to a bit of help from yours tru-" before the fox-earred man could finish, he was grabbed by Blake, barely hiding the fact that he was ticked off.

"Excuse us for a moment..." he forcefully said, before dragging Seimei in a corner.

"Can I help you, gaki? Hehe..." the aforementioned questioned, maybe wondering if he crossed a small line.

"After we're done, I'm going to see if that tail of yours is the real deal," he threatened him. "Maybe starting to see if it can be chopped off."

"M-M-My... young Blake! W-We don't need such measures for!" It seems to be working quite well. "I-I spoke the shinjitsu!"

"Explain in english," the teen demanded.

"You see all the items that are being give back? See who's also there," he pointed again at the long crowd of monster teens, with Clawdeen herself standing next in line to Jackson. Thankfully, she has not noticed him.

"And I think I know what she's lost," snapping his fingers, a small puff of smoke apperaed in his hands, then as the smoke cleared, it revealed a pink hairbrush bearing the familiar logo of a skull with a pink ribbon. He handed it to Blake. "Go get her, gaki."

"Fine," Blake sighed, going over to the werewolf girl.

"Hey," he greeted her.

Upon seeing him, Clawdeen frowned, stepping out of the crowd. "Really? That's all you have to say!?" she growled at him. "Because of you, I'm in trouble with Mr. Rotter for having a wrong book that is not even mine!"

"How is that my fault?" The human teen asked. "You were the one that... Oh, forget it. I'm too tired for this." he said, giving her the hairbrush along with a purple book. "Here, I think those are yours."

"H-How'd you have that!?" she demanded.

"That's your book, isn't it?"

"Not about the book! Why do you have my brush!? I thought I lost it months ago in..." she paused as her eyes widened. "Did you get it from..."

"No," Blake shook his head, denying whatever she thought. "But, I guess I helped Frankie a bit."

Clawdeen's eyes narrowed as she stared at Blake, her curiosity piqued. "What do you mean? How did you help Frankie?"

Blake sighed, rubbing his temples. "Look, it's a long story. Those are just a sorry for being a jerk to you that time."

Hearing those words, Clawdeen's expression softened slightly as she looked at the hairbrush and book in her hands. "Then you need more than that to say sorry, normie boy.~ Since the first second, you've been just a jerk, ya know?"

Blake merely rolled his eyes, wondering if he made actually a wrong choice. "Really?"

"Yes, really!" she nodded, not trying to hide her smirk. "Give me a few Scream-Steak smoothies later and then maybe we'll bury the hatchet."

The human teen sighed. "Fine, deal."

She turned on her heel, walking out, but stopped and looked back at Blake. "Don't think this means I'm going to be your friend or anything, just... a truce. Even I don't want to be angry all the time at you."

Blake watched her go, feeling a strange mixture of relief and frustration. Turning back, he found Frankie, Draculaura and Lagoona were eavesdropping. Of course, Seimei also decided to join them.

"Well, it's a start, shounenen," He said with an condescending tone. "Not the best approach, but we can work on that before your date."

"Don't forget we'll also help!" Frankie passionately declared. "Still, I never thought you of all boos would ask Clawdeen!"

"Yep, mate! Takes a lot of guts to ask her out! You must be prepared!" Lagoona added, much to the human teen's frustration.

"And don't buy her flowers! She's allergic to pollen!" Draculaura advised.

"It's not a date," Blake tiredly stated. But the four monster before him exchanged knowing glances.

"Of course, of course. But, to be sure, we'll also be there for you~" Seimei said, leaning in with a sly grin. "We can't let you, how do you say... ah! Scramble away your chances!"

The human teen could just face-palm, exasperated. "That's not how it goes."

Fox Flare Cafe

After finishing school for today, the remaining teens from another world returned to the cafe that can exist in two places at the same time. Blake for once was glad to be back at the clientless place managed by that sketchy fox who grinned at him during the road back like a... well like a fox!

They were just supposed to be there to confirm to Lagoona and Frankie that Mr. Compassionate, Ken, is alright after risking his skin against that Orphenoch! Not talk about his freakin love life!

At least they didn't do anything crazy like fighting that Orphenoch or trying to make sense of the creature... Thankfully, they didn't pay it much mind because they thought it was some creature native to the so-called Deep End.

Well, it's better than trying to explain to them what is an Orphenoch when even he or the others don't have a full idea. That Seimei is definetly hiding more about them, but for now, he feel like his eardrums are about to burst...

"DUDE!!!!! DON'T KICK THE GRAVE LIKE THAT! I WON'T FIND A BFF LIKE YOU IN LIKE... EVER!!! I'M NOT READY FOR THAT PART OF A SUPERHERO LIFE!!!" Leon shouted, his voice being just one step away from breaking up the nearby windows. The reason is because after the use of the Kaixa Gear, Ken immediatly fainted. And of course after Leon found out...

"Young Ken is fine! Gaki! Tanomu! Have mercy on my poor ears!" Seimei tried to explain all the while clutching his inhuman ears.

"L-Leon... please!" Maximilian begged, feeling he was about to lose his hearing.

"BUT HE'S NOT FINE AND-"

"Shut it!" Blake exclaimed, forcefully covering the loud teen's mouth.

"Please Leon. I'm not hurt," Ken explained. After fainting, he was brought in his bed and awakened after an hour. "Mr. Seimei warned me about the consequences of using the Kaixa Gear and I accepted the outcomes. It is not his fault."

"mmmButmmmdude..." the loud teen tried saying.

"With a bit of rest, he will be fine, shounenen," Seimei informed him.

"I suggest you listen to our host, Leon. You are only dellaying Kenneth recovery," Michael calmly advised.

"Mmhfine," He manged to say as Blake immediatly took back his hand.

"Today was a strange and hard day for all of us, shounens. But, this tatakai has taught us all a valuable lesson! Young Blake along with young Ken faced a very strong opponent today, but had trust in their friends and faced their fears and conquered them!" Seimei began.

Blake rolled his eyes. "Yeah sure,"

"Which is why, I will train you five in order to be better prepared in case of such an event!" Seimei declared as the teens gave him blank looks.

"M-Mister Seimei... we-"

"You were supposed to train us to fight those Orphenoch things since day one," Blake stated.

"I did?" Seimei questions, scatching his chin in thought. "I guess I forgot!"

"We'll begin as soon as young Ken is back on his feet!" He declared with an ominous glow in his eyes. "For now, enjoy your last day of slacking around in my cafe, gakis~ FUFUFU!" Snapping his fingers, Seimei vanished in a cloud of smoke, leaving behind these words and ominous laugh to be comprehended by the group from another world.

"He's bluffing," Blake said to himself, but hears only silence looking at the others that sport worried looks on their faces.

"Deceivement has a limit, Blake Wolfson," Michael advised him. "And with a character such as Mr. Seimei, it is unknown what may further await us."

Blake rolled his eyes. "Sure... as if my life wasn't already messed up." he said, but underneath began worrying for the rest of his days in this world.

A/N: This chapter marks the introduction of the last protagonist of my story and the introduction of Kaixa. The chapter was a bit more focused on Blake rather than Ken, but it turned out like this when I was least expecting.
